I've had good experiences whenever I go in, but with covid19, I can't do that, and their answering machine is broken. It takes 12 rings to start, and it doesn't even receive my input when it finally comes on. I can't talk to anyone.

Very upset that I show up for my appointment and the receptionist says the system is down and that the doctor is not taking appointments. No consideration to even call me prior to driving 45 minutes and taking the day off work for nothing.

Rikki-Lea (Mufkin)

I've been with Niagara Medical Group almost 25 years and I don't intend to go anywhere else. I am someone with many medical issues and I have always received the best care.

I've been going here since I was born. First I had Dr.Krass, he was such a nice, funny guy who always made me feel comfortable and he tells it as is. Currently I have Dr.Hogg and he is absolutely amazing. He is helping me get my mental health back to were I need to be.

Colin Xu

I moved from BC and settle down in Niagara Falls. Greatly appreciate Dr. Zufelt and other friendly staff help me with everything. Unforgettable happy experience.

Doug Smith

Receptionists are rude, and want to know everyone's business even when its personal between the doctor and I. Made appointment for a certain time, they are ALWAYS LATE. There is zero professionalism here. Its a joke. If your a new patient here, welcome to the circus. Its a gong show! Would not recommend.

Unfortunately this is not the best place for mental health. The RNPs are the most stunningly amazing folks. They listen and they help. And they can see you quite quick. On the other hand Dr Wassif does not have a judgemental-free approach. Which is like going into battle when you have these problems. If there was more listening and less mental-blaming I might have actually had success instead of wasting time. Instead I got a new doctor.

Offices open but "unavailable" the 4x I phoned

Been coming here for my entire adult life and consistently receive prompt and professional care. Rarely have much of a wait, nurses are excellent with my children and doctors make appropriate referrals. Plus specialists will often hold hours so can get in to see a dermatologist for example without going to a different location. A+

Just a terrible place all-around. Please do not go here. Just read the other reviews. My experience/interactions with them was pretty much identical. The front-line admin was rude in person, hung up on us twice over the phone, and we have already de-rostered from this place. Needless to say, we won't be returning. Unless you absolutely have to, I would never recommend to anyone to come here for medical service.

Issues with reception. My new patient package was passed over with no action taken by admin because I listed my former family doctor from the town I moved from. Don't make this mistake even though they ask for it on the form, it's an item they seem to screen for. After I explained to the receptionist that I am indeed a resident here and still in need of a new doctor, she set an appointment for two weeks hence. This was after waiting over a month for an update on the induction. The day before the appointment I called to confirm and the same woman received me. She explained that I had actually marked my calendar wrong because the appointment was set for that day. Not to worry, she said, the Doctor is actually on vacation this week and next so she had to reschedule anyways. The exchange left me wondering exactly when I would have received this news had I not called in advance. Also it seems likely that a doctor would have that availability scheduled longer than two weeks prior. it seems to me they failed to properly induct my new patient package, failed to notify me of such a decision, failed to reschedule my appointment during doctor availability, and once again failed to notify me of the need to reschedule. When you are in need of mental health care and the process is already a painfully slow one, poor administrative services on the front end is extremely disappointing. Now I wait another two weeks. I would have really appreciated a phone call.

Don’t get a doctor here if you ever want an appointment. Phones are ALWAYS busy. Been to the walk-in clinic 3 different times this winter because couldn’t get through or they were running clinics only and weren’t allowed to make an appointment.

Dr Zufelt - He is rude and gets upset at his patients for things that he shouldn't. I don't want to elaborate but I'm sure he knows. Perhaps it was just a bad day today for him. Dr Saeed on the other hand, amazing.

Went in to see if they had any doctors taking patients. The receptionist wasn't friendly and got rather upset when I asked. She kind of yelled that they weren't taking any patients. I think I will keep looking for a more friendlier professional place. We all have bad days you work with the public try being a little friendlier.

After over 30 years of being a patient, because I had moved to Toronto, I was told to find a Toronto doctor and the doctor who had inherited my file didn't want to see me, or help me. Abandoned by them. Unbelievable. They took the money for me being on their roster for all this time and then left me hanging. Wish I could leave 0 stars.

1 star for reception and wait times. 5 stars for the NURSE PRACTITIONERS & Lab Nurses. (Nothing else about this establishment deserves any credit) I was waiting for my line to be picked up for over 15 minutes, and it still didn't get picked up. I then called back, and just let the message run through and waited for the phone to start ringing, then someone picked up in 30 seconds. I would suggest not having hold lines if the receptionists aren't diligent enough to pick them up in a reasonable time, when they clearly are able to.

Dr Zeufelt is an amazing doctor, he’s always takes my issues seriously and explored every available option, he’s so much better than my old doctor, the time for appointments is completely average or better than most doctor offices I’ve ever had to deal with, I have never had any bad experiences with this place or reception, I’m nice to them they are nice to me

I spoke to receptionist that is on the automated system when you first call. She is extremely rude. I called to book an appointment and she decided to tell me “I call here a lot”. I find that extremely unprofessional and no need to tell me that. I even asked why she felt the need to tell me I call a lot. She said “im just saying you call a lot”. Last time i called was over a month ago. I was calling in because the issue I was having was still happening. When you first call it says there’s a 0 tolerance for any profanity or aggression towards any staff members. Maybe if you don’t talk to people like that won’t get treated that way. I canceled my appointment and went to a walk in clinic where I was treated like a normal person and wasn’t judged for calling in a lot. I’ve never had an issue with any staff there before today, I’ve always been polite when dealing with the staff there, even today when I called for the appointment. If you’re having a bad day take a day off don’t be miserable with people that are calling in for help.

Worst medical Center in Niagara, wait times are ridiculous nobody should have to wait over a month to see their family doctor. Most receptionist there are so cranky like your inconveniencing their day by talking to them. Avoid Dr.Zufelt at all costs, everytime my girlfriend dad or myself go to see him he always tries to get you to diagnose yourself. Asking what you think it is and what medicine you want to take, and when he decides on something to give it’s just a dart throw at a board,it’s pathetic. Just an overall terrible facility don’t waste your time here, find yourself better health care. You deserve it.

I'm not sure what happen to this place but the minute two doctors left the place started to crumble. When your sick and go to see a doctor and he says well that's b/c of your lifestyle coming from the same doctor that prescribed the medication. So very unprofessional, the blood lab and two receptionists are the only ones that care and understand mental health. Welcome to a failing a healthcare system

Good for a clinic - don't recommend having anyone here as a family doctor. Too quick to write scripts, not addressing the causal issues. Too long of a wait time to see a family doctor. And STILL taking new clients. When asked if they were accepting patients I was told they were. After some.more questions it turned out that they were putting people on a wait list. I asked if there is a wait list to see get the application process how are they still taking new patients before dealing with the backlog of patients. I was told they didn't have time for questions.

Only 2 or 3 competant doctors in the building; I was once misdiagnosed so badly I had to have painful and invasive surgery. Receptionist and appointments team are very rude and completely useless. Have been given multiple wrong appointment times and they frequently don't answer the phone. Jusr spent 20+ minutes on hold trying to make an appointment to have the receptionist pickup and immediately hang up my call.

Rude staff, some doctors seem to be on a power trip, try to get Dr. Wassif and Dr Zufelt otherwise the Nurse practitioners are great, other than that just like some else says a circus show... and since covid started they have not seen patients in person as they get paid annually by the government and not by visit, so some of them could not care less to actually see you. it just seems a bother. Welcome to our free health system. Disappointing.

Avril Caley

The woman in appointments was rude and ignorant. The service is very poor and if they tell you they will call you back dont hold your breath. This is a horrible place. Avoid it at all costs.

Ernie Peñate

Horrible place, the receptionists are very rude, it's hard to get an appointment unless you take a day off work.

tyler woods

Most Horrible staff and doctors! they do not take pride in their jobs , patients or care about their patients work schedules. Almost all the receptionist are rude or have a care free attitude and make no effort to help or make you feel like any one cares ,do not make the mistake of coming to this facility for anything.

Cassie F

My experience has been good at this doctor. My doctor is understanding and helpful. He's straight to the point though and I like that. Also, on the mental health aspect I got a referral to a counselor in building who was 100% the most understanding, compassionate and lovely person. Sometimes getting an appointment can be difficult but all in all a good experience.

Sharona Goren

Horrible introductory message on their telephone answering service during COVID. It sounds aggressive and intimidating. Please change your message to achieve a better response! The stars given here are for the nurses who are the best part of this clinic.

Supernurse Private Duty RN

Awful place to work. Avoid at all costs due to a very unprofessional older doctor there that is discriminating to staff and likes to gossip and influence at least one other doctor against you. Incompetent doctor for sure. The worst. I gained far more trust about something he didn't have a clue about with a patient and the fool disliked that so sacks you the next day instead of respecting it as he should, I am well experienced in having an extensive nursing background I documented it. End of the day I was there for the patients not an incompetent bully of a doctor that hasn't got a clue. Never be afraid to report a bad doctor or to change doctor. Pay nurses what they should be too! I hope that patient reported that doctor to his surgeon fo the unethical treatment toward them.
