When I first came to this place it seemed ok but the need to be 19 years and older to cancel what you created needs to at least change. When you first go to them they are nice but for me I just wanted a mental health nurse and then when they call you and you say I don’t need you anymore everything is now fine they should take you off the list and drop it. My concern over this is that you have to be 19 and older to cancel your appointments my opinion on this is that the 19 should change to 18 years and up reason to why I believe that is that 18 year olds are officially Adults and should be treated like Adults and when that 18 year old says I no longer need your services or no longer need you then that is it you drop their name from the list and stop calling them when they told you that they no longer need you anymore. Absolutely Terrible. Front desk employees are rude and have zero knowledge or care for mental health. The counsellors I seen provided no help at all. It was like visiting a friend who wanted to hear your gossip and had no intention of teaching CBT , Mindfulness or any other actual practices to address issues. When you speak honestly that they are not helping you at all they get on their high horse and tell you that you should see somebody else for counselling. Do not waste your time here, these are government employees who act like government employees. If you get to see a real psychologist there they will purely push terrible drugs on you as this is all they seem to know. You can literally watch YouTube or purchase any book on CBT and you will be way better off than going into this place. Lastly if you call the mental health crisis line they will read off scripts to you and you will be talking to a call centre type person with no human qualities. Just somebody reading a script with no idea how to help you in any way. If I could give a zero rating I would.
