this office is a joke . they wouldnt even refer me to camh . apparently they have no mental healtb history on file and they expect me to have been there 7 times !!!! ive been going there since 2008 . what a joke they dont care to help anyone who really needs it

This facility saw my 10 year old daughter without my permission and broke the law! The grandmother of my child had no right to go behind my back without my permission. She made claims that I was a bad mother and neglected my child. - all recorded in the files we received ???? My daughter has a doctor already and double doctoring is illegal in Ontario. We had her file closed and requested all documentation. They gave us the run around for 2 weeks before complying with our wishes. Unfortunately filing a formal complaint is lengthy and likely to go no where, so we are leaving this review for all to see. ????

Caring, professional, and appropriate staff on site. I was able to get up to date on my vaccinations and get services to other medical needs. I recommend Anishnawbe Health. EDIT: whoever is handling things is not prioritizing client needs/services. The receptionist would rather talk over you then listen to what you're trying to access. The process to book an appointment is frustrating.

Absolutely no leadership around to be found anywhere. Had to file complaint with the Ombudsman because their complaint process is handled by the people your complaining about. The community is aware, the families are aware. Shame on the leadership. SHAME. Shame. Shame.

Consistently let down. You cannot get essential services on site, let alone a fax to the pharmacy to get a prescription refilled. You get outsourced for everything, bloodwork, allergy tests, etc etc. They take photo copies of your paperwork then turn around and tell you they have nothing about your illness on file. They won't even give you a feminine prescription until you send away for a swab that takes three days, so suffer, in other words. Seriously?? It's appalling, the sub level of service from this establishment. Going to a colonial dr. office seems to be the only way to get things taken care of in a timely manner. Albany and other walk-ins help you on the spot. Beyond disappointing.

I have been going to this health centre for over 30 years. All of the staff are professional, friendly, and caring. It makes a huge difference when your health care providers genuinely care about your physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being. It's nice to walk in to a health clinic and the reception staff are there greeting you with a smile. The doctors, nurses, and other health care providers do a wonderful job of providing health care. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing, Anishnawbe Health staff.
