This is the office for the main Union for actors. It's not really the kind of place that is open to the public but if you have questions about what it means to be in the union for actors and being a working actress it's an interesting place to drop into. But it is predominately for industry professionals.

They're customer service was very rude and unhelpful. I was sure I had put my memership on withdrawal before leaving to work in LA and was shocked to find out 2 years later that I owed 650$ in past dues. No phone call, no emails, just a letter to my old canadian address. I contacted the union and nobody cared. Now back to do a project in Toronto. I don't really have a choice but to be part of this union. They demand a lot of money and I don't see the benefits of being a member. Sorry, but I must give a poor review.

Actra seriously need to remove Kristin Scythes of Hollywood North off their list. She charges her clients a high fee to join her agency which is something no legitimate agency would do. Someone needs to do something about this and to prevent that sort of thing from happening again. She also needs to be punish for her actions.
