I had a therapeutic massage with Sara today as I had strained my ham-string yesterday due to fatigue. She proposed that I do a more feel-good type of massage w special attention to the tendons that support the hams but not the hams as they are healing. She gave me guidance on how to holistically prevent this type of injury from re-occurring and how to treat it. Thank you bud and congratulations on your new venture! The Japanese mint essential oil is a nice touch;)

Hey. Listen. I was just visiting Winnipeg. Coming from Toronto, so I’m accustomed to the competition of massage therapists. I’m a reasonably big dude, 6’3, 210 pounds. Sara Martin was more than capable of bruising the meat on my large frame. She even has great taste in the tunage during the massage. Ludivico Einaudi was an unexpected artistical common ground. They even bill direct to benefit providers. I stayed at the “inn at the forks” and this “anchor massage” is within walking distance. Book your appointment. Unless you don’t want the best value for an amazing massage, in which case well, you are not a smart person. Mike

Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in, its a very unique lobby, where shoes are asked to be left at the front. Gives it a very cozy feeling right off the bat. They have local art on the walls for sale which gives it a nice vibe. The reception and therapist staff I met are all very friendly, and extremely helpful. They were very professional, respectful and able to answer any questions and concerns I had. Before I showed up for my first massage here, I had pretty bad neck and back tension. After the first session it was almost gone. After my second session, it felt even better. The masseuse went above and beyond, and gave me good advice after the sessions and showed me some stretches to help relieve the tension between massages. Would recommend if you're looking to feel relaxed.

I work in the area and figured I would try Anchor for myself. Honestly the best massage I’ve ever had. I went to Kuban. He will take the time to do a proper assessment and has your best interests in mind. I have never been so relaxed and I left truly rejuvenated and ache free. I find with other massage therapists I’ve gone to I am left sore or the massage is painful. This was not the case and I had the perfect amount of pressure used. Highly recommend.

I used to work in the area and thought I’d try out Anchor Massage when they were still pretty new. I was really impressed and even got my husband hooked. We’ve been going to Anchor for over a year now. I no longer work in the area but it is worth the drive. Parking can be a bit tricky sometimes, so plan accordingly for time for parking. The receptionists are very professional and polite! I've been a client of Taliah, Raylee, and Sara. They are all wonderful, professional, knowledgeable, and provide assessments and at-home tips for getting through an injury. Love this place!

The environment is quite calming from the moment you walk in. It's professional yet comfortable. I've only been massaged by Sara Martin, the owner. She is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. When I've interacted with other staff they were very friendly and welcoming, as well. I've been a client with Anchor Massage Therapy since before it changed ownership, and I can honestly say the customer service has greatly increased. I enjoy the convenience of booking online, as well as with the Mind Body app. All in all, I always recommend Anchor Massage to my friends and family. It's a great business.

-Poor reception service -Masseuse didn't know what he was doing, Marlowe. -He talked quite often, about the universe and stuff finding it's path etc... kind of annoying. -I'm a training athlete and he focused on my legs the whole massage and then said he ran out of time for the areas I actually pointed to that I had concerns with.

I have been seeing the massage therapists at Waterfront Massage from the time they opened their doors. The reception staff has generally been excellent; with any inconvenience quickly corrected. Monique and Adrielle have seemingly magical hands and always give helpful after care advice. I cannot recommend Waterfront Massage enough!

The bedding for the massage table was greasy/grimy which was a huge turn off. I'm not a germaphobe, but it was really gross and I considered leaving. The massage was fine although I would have preferred deeper pressure.

I recently saw Taliah for a deep tissue massage and was impressed with the level of intuition. Not only did we work on relieving stress but also increasing my upper body mobility which I had not experienced with an RMT before. The practice is comforting and I plan to be back soon.

I was there over a year ago I went 3 times and all three times I paid for an hour and only got 50 min. Also the front desk is not very welcoming so this is the reason I do not go there anymore. If you pay for 60 min you should get 60 min and welcome the ppl that come to your biz to give you money and looking for help.

They don't directly charge the insurance company. First they will tell you that they will charge the insurance company directly but upon arrival, they will ask you to pay for it. Totally wastage of time.

Reception has no idea what they are doing. Consistently booked at the wrong time or day than what was written on my cards, Never received promised reminders. Therapists will just walk on by while you're in the waiting room, not even a smile on their faces or a pleasant hello. Poor customer service. The only good part about this practice is Marlowe. I works wonders with my shoulder & back pain. Sadly will continue elsewhere due to poor service from the front.

The place didn't feel very spa-like. When my masseuse introduced themselves it was not very personable. They gave me a stare and made it uncomfortable. Didn't even shake my hand. The masseuse didn't ask which body part I wanted done so I left there in the same state I came in just a lighter wallet. The music wasn't very relaxing either. The masseuse started 15 minutes late so I only got a 45 minute massage which is ridiculous. My legs were massaged for about a half hour of that time when I needed my neck and back focused on. This was an awkward experience and I don't recommend it if you want a relaxing massage. Oh and you have to pay for parking.

Called and cancelled a day before my massage told me to rebook, I did I checked my appointment on their website an hou before said confirmed, when I show up they lied and say they've been calling me all yesterday. When I show the trashy front desk girl, my call log she says we emailed. They emailed my work email after 3pm the day before my 11am appointment. The front desk girl was rude, abrupt, and offers no apology. when I said I wouldn't be back she said "oh well". I guess they don't need clients. Unprofessional.

I wanted to drop a note, thanking Chantal for tackling my compound injury which has caused major de-conditioning. Chantal was very understanding and considerate through the deep tissue massage. It was such a calming atmosphere. I really appreciate, Chantal providing me with stretches for after care. These are really helping me, to get back to myself. This has been a slow process, but again I want to thank Chantal for helping me to step forward. I, highly recommend Chantal and will be coming back.

And she cut the conversation immediately - o no ? Have a nice day ... thank you - plus ignoring tone and attitude. So rude ! Quick basic communication lesson: next time (for someone else of course) try: We apologize but we do not have any fee spots before that time. We are sorry but its the earliest available date. It seems that they have good therapists but terrible front desk !

I booked a couples massage at Waterfront as an anniversary gift for my partner, who was currently pregnant. The receptionist was very helpful and explained how my wife could still have and enjoy a massage while pregnant and answered all of questions. We arrived and the clinic is in a beautiful area and very nice inside, we were very early and were offered water and they had the best magazine selection of any waiting room I have ever been in. The massage room was very nice and the therapist who treated my wife was comfortable and made her feel very secure with the process. The girl who treated me found all my knots and a few I didn't know I had. We both felt like limp noodles afterwards. We were also able to direct bill our appointments, which made the whole process painless! I would highly recommend them and we will be back!

The massage therapist was friendly and polite (which was the only thing I enjoyed about my experience) but girl at the front desk was very impolite and RUDE. With such attitude she shouldn't be at a front desk. A receptionist is the face of a business and hence that person needs to be trained & educated as to how to be polite to customers, especially when a customer is friendly. It irritates me so much when poor service is given. Also, I got there 5 minutes before my 60 minutes appointment and was given a ton load of paper work to complete, went to the room at 10:10 and got only 40 minutes of massage. Would not recommend.

Wrost RMT massage ever! I had a 90 minute massage , which really was only 70 minutes. I was early for my appointment, started 15 minutes late and ended before my actually time was up. Rude customer service. Overpriced, no parking, I would not recommend this massage centre to anyone.

We booked a couple of days ahead for a 90 min. massage and it's our first time with both therapists Sara and Marlowe. They ran through which area or body part that needs attention, pressure was strong and consistent the entire time. Sara went above and beyond by showing stretching techniques and pointers one can perform at work. The place is simple and adequate and it's always so relaxing to be there! Monique and Adrielle keep up the good work!

I recently had my first massage at Anchor and I had a lovely experience! Anchor is cozy and warm when you walk through the door. They have a great lounge like area to wait in and the location is nice and central on waterfront. What made my experience though was Natasha Newman. I followed Natasha to Anchor because she has a very caring approach with her clients. The first time I had a massage with her she talked through the issues I was experiencing and then explained what she thought was the source of the problem, what muscles were affected, and what she was going to do to resolve the problem. She cares about her clients and makes sure they leave feeling way better than when they came in. Thanks again for making me feel like a million bucks Natasha and I will see you soon!

I had a wonderful experience here! The clinic was lovely and very welcoming, there is a lovely park across the street to take a stroll in afterwards. The treatment was thorough and the therapist attentive to my needs and kept me informed as well as let me know of things I could work on to improved my shoulders and headaches. Been twice and will be sure to be back again as it is very close to home & work. Comfortable and relaxing experience. Nice ambience. The massage therapists are particularly concerned about critical upper body parts that should be focussed on. The only disappointing part of both experiences is leaving little time for the foot massage which has been initially emphasized to focus on (being a server and on foot 8 hours a day). Otherwise, it’s my go-to massage spot considering the convenience and overall good experience.
