a beautiful town.

When you see boards nailed across a door, tape where the deadbolt in our door had been, a strong 'cleaning' smell in the room (that my husband commented on!) these things are red flags. The young guy at the check in desk was friendly and quick but oh, how I wish we'd paid more for somewhere else. I guess this is what a hundred bucks gets you in Louisbourg.

The east Indian owner is a terrible human. One of the rudest guys I have ever come across. The women and the young guy are great but that guy needs to be fired

It was the wonderful stay and even at cheap rate. The staff was very nice and they gave us the best service. I would like to come back again.

We had a great stay at the Fortress! We arrived late and the manager made sure to be up to check us in. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Would stay again on our next visit.

Wonderful spot, amazing service!

Stopped for breakfast and had the eggs Benedict and coffee. Nice big dining room and the staff were very nice, they were very busy with a large group. The eggs Benedict was good but came with cold potatoes tossed in oregano instead of hasbrowns which was a bit odd. Good coffee!

Cheap and cheerful motel - booking online was 12 bucks cheaper than at the desk. Note the extremely limited restaurants - I'd grab food in Sydney before heading to Louisbourg.

Me and some family went to this inn, thinking we would get our own cottage. Turns out the staff got a cottage mixed up with a sweet. The sweet was disgusting, with dirt all over the floors and almost no furniture. We payed 172$ for a bad room. We are very disappointed in our service.

Good place to stay close to the louisbourg fortress for a low price. Room was very dated and mostly clean.

The restaurant wasn't available and we had to go offsite for our evening meal, as well as in the morning there wasn't a breakfast option. Again we understand this is due to COVID and not the norm. It wouldn't stop us from coming back and staying again..
