I would like say that the staff are nice and professional, but when it comes to People with Mental Health issues they truly lack the proper tools & knowledge to help thoes people who suffer with Mental Illness. If you have any underlying perminate disabilities that has the ability to cause or makes your Mental Health worst than I do not recommend this place. Again, the staff are nice its just their enability to properly diagnose and treat Mental Illness. They keep saying to me what I am doing to improve my own Mental Health? I say, I am doing all that I can, What are you doing?? The person I seen was not even training to deal with persons with Mental Illnessess, I was told their was trained Medical personial "nurse" but I never seen one, the untire time I visited and spoke with them not once did a actual Medical Doctor speak with me? It was left up to the person with the 2yr course from NSCC. In regards to the over the phone treatments, when they call you and talk for an hour. I found her to be cold and at times heard laughing in the background. I got the impression that she was having a good time during the interview so I stopped the conversation and the "mental health worker said, okay bye. I wont tell you how it made feel but it wasnt good. Canadians deserve better Mental Healthcare.

Apparently they can tell you to try a new program in another place and that you that you can come back after. Only when you try to come back they never talk to you about it and just send a letter saying that they've closed your file and you can't come back. Twice, if you get your doctor to try and refer you there again. Some great people seemingly held up by terrible management. Also some terrible people in there as well. Don't trust them if they tell you that you can leave and come back.

I have had very good care from the team, from the initial assessment to therapy. The staff is incredibly nice and efficient and the doctors are committed to my well being. I give 4 stars because the process is slow and that is due to governmental mis-management not the team.

I was going through a very bad time, and came here for help. A miracle somehow happened and i got in after someone canceled the very next week so i didnt wait. Eventually started DBT with a very nice lady, who helped me alot. Very kind.

Made an appointment for September 11. Called to see if any different time was available at all. They said my appointment was cancelled anyways because the person who I was going to see wasn't available that week, and the next appointment would be in February.

They canceled my appointment with out even informing me after I called and confirmed my appointment TWICE with them 6/8 months ago. They even called me last week to remind me. I have been on the waiting list for 8 months now, have two doctor referrals on medication and a history of suicide. Disgusting how out mental health system has failed me and do many other people. THINGS NEED TO CHANGE.
