I personally vibe with her personality. Yes she is very direct, and can be short tempered, especially if you ask a lot of questions, but she knows what she's doing. She doesn't push medications on me if she doesn't feel like I need it; she is very pro-counselling. I really like her tough love demeanor. Her personality is definitely not a good fit with everyone, but if you don't get offended by what she does or says, you'll find that she actually cares and knows her shizz.

Had my consultation with Dr. Ghuman today, she was very supportive. She took her time with me and had a very constructive plan to help me with my anxiety. She was very positive and clear when explaining her approach and answered any concerns I had. Please don't read into the negative reviews and go in open minded if you have a consultation with her!

I have had 3 appointments with Dr. Ghuman and I can honestly say I have had a positive experience every time and she even exceeded my expectations. I was first very nervous about seeking help for fear of being judged or not taken seriously. She speaks in soft patient voice that is not intimidating which brought me comfort. I expressed my issues and I believe that I was given the proper diagnosis and medication. She prescribed something that actually works after trying many different things. But what I like most is that she is willing to help you explore all treatment options. I mentioned that I dislike the idea of medication and She has provided me with many other natural ways to cope with my issues. She has given me therapy tools, thought me were pressure points are on my body that if activated can relieve panic, talked to me about different exercises and even thought me about the benefits acupuncture. She also suggested other off the counter medications that are less harmful to the body that I would have never heard of. She wants to listen and truly tries to understand your needs.

Was just diagnosed with ADHD by my current family doctor out west - at thirty years old. I came to see Dr. Ghuman when I was twenty-six and had my symptoms dismissed as garden variety depression and anxiety and basically told me to deal with the abusive relationship I'd been stuck in at the time (not to mention she walked out the door to go to lunch before I had a chance to leave my seat). No serious investigation into my medical history, no direction to other resources that could have helped me...nothing. Four years of delayed treatment, pain, and time I will never have back. This mental health system is a disgrace!
