Very poor receptionist. No one answers the phone ever. I think will have to change the doctor just because can’t ever get hold of receptionist to make an appointment. Tried to make it online but of no use. The previous receptionist at Dr Rai’s previous clinic were awesome. The receptionist here doesn’t have the basic knowledge of medical terminology and insists to know why the person wants to see the doctor. Very frustrating

Went here just to get a prescription refilled cause I forgot about it until last minute, there are a lot of bad reviews but I found the staff (receptionist, doctor) to be very polite I got an appointment last minute (called at 8am to ask if they did walk-in and she just booked me in for 10:30) Sometimes I’m at my regular doctors office for an hour or so just to get a prescription refilled when I have an appointment, but here I was there for 20 minutes only and that’s as a new patient having to fill out the form and everything Overall, positive experience

Went for an appointment yesterday as I was hoping for a new family doctor closer to home. I have a list of issues that I see GI Specialists/Oncologists and GPs for. I know not to bring up multiple issues or start with the complicated ones but I wasn't a fan of Doctor Singh. Didn't even shake my hand or look me in the eyes when introducing himself. I brought up how my hand/arm swells up beyond use and he immediately responds with, "I don't give out narcotics." I do blood tests consistently at the Cross Cancer and drug tests for all my jobs and the only narcotics I have ever tried have been prescribed to me at hospitals for severe things. Very unproffessional and quick to judge apparently. I was looking for a doctor to offer guidance on how to deal with these issues at work that are starting to severely affect my life, not for narcotics. Thanks for nothing.

ZERO STARS. If you're a former Dr. Rai patient, DO NOT go here anymore. This has become the worst clinic in all of Edmonton. The reception staff is definitely the worst I've ever come across in any business setting. I will be leaving to another clinic and taking my 7 member family with me. I booked an appointment but had to cancel and I called to do so 2 days prior to the appointment without an issue. Since then their receptionist desk has been calling my house phone every week asking to speak with me regarding the cancelation from 3 weeks ago. They claim that I missed the appointment and didn't call to cancel, when that is not the case. I've never been home to answer the call myself, but my 80 year old grandmother answers the call anticipating it has something to do with her health issues, adding unnecessary stress. She's since gotten very frustrated at the constant repeat calls saying the same thing. They have no coordination nor a basic sense of professionalism. How they got the job there is beyond me. It's clear from the reviews that they have ZERO accountability as alot of people have been complaining about the same thing over and over.

I like personally appointment system they are very accurate. I never get late. doctor laila-jumma save my life she catch my problem on time. I appreciate from my deep heart publicly. Aman help me for appointments I never miss it reminder one day ahead I like it. One more thing about doctor liala jumma she spend lots off time ask questions. Hard question is for alcohol she always ask me for stop it. I stop it because she made me stop. It’s for me. Thank you dr. Simple they are best. Highly recommended again And again.

Very horrible experience. My parents family doctor Vivek Kumar left the clinic , so I have to shift them to another doctor . We requested the staff to transfer their records to new doctor . They asked $50 for each transfer of records. It's not about the money I am mad about. They say it's their policy, which I am OK with ,if they can show me it in written or give me the invoice that they are charging money for transfer of patients records. This is like blackmailing..it's illegal too to deny records to patients and asking money for it. Worst clinic . Avoid at all cost...
I am writing based on reading and forming my own opinion. I will not discredit what anyone else experienced or saw however, I will discuss my experiences. I switched to this clinic specifically to follow Dr. Banerjee. She is by far the best doctor I have ever had in my life. I came in recently and decided to pay close attention to the receptionists with so many complaints on them. When I walked in everyone one was super friendly and professional. I was called in by one of them and treated with nothing but respect, only thing they did was forget to close my door. Honestly I was glad cause I got to hear some more how they interact. I heard them respectfully tell patients the clinic isn’t accepting walk ins/new patients. I heard them help a patient find a medicenter that could help him. I heard them helping the doctors with whatever was needed. I also have worked in the medical world for 15 years. I did not see anything to complain about. Maybe this is new staff, maybe they restructured since the complaints. Im all honesty even coming before I was never met with anything unprofessional.
We've been trying to call for the past week but no one picks up the phone and even though we left a few messages we haven't gotten a call back. I get that they are busy but it's been a week since we left the first message we should've gotten a call back by now.
0 START!!!! Please Read the reviews before making appointment at this clinic. This must be the worst clinic in Edmonton to go to when you are not feeling good. Either they don't answer the phone or if they do sometimes hangup on you. The staff is rude and the doctor is never running on time. we have been to this clinic 3 times now, and every single time same issues. we will never return to this clinic again and looks like there is no point in contacting the management again, when they don't fix any of the issues. I don't think they even care. God knows who these people are.... who are writing the good reviews on here, must be from their own. WORST CLINIC EVER!
My husband visited this clinic for stitches. The doctor did a great job. Staff was also very helpful. Very glad we were able to get an appointment here. Will definitely return to this clinic!

Been suffering from extreme dizziness, fatigue, lightheadedness, weakness, hair loss etc. The doctors here sent me for blood work twice within the space of 6 weeks yet no doctor at this clinic could have told me that I was anemic! They told me everything looked ok at first. Another told me low blood count on the phone but when I went into the office they told me everything looked normal it wasn’t that low. I then called and called and called and insisted on speaking with my regular doctor. I was told he is extremely busy. When I finally got to have a conversation with him I was told by him it’s low magnesium. He asked me if non of the other doctors told me this and I said no, I was as surprised as he was! Listen this is one confusing clinic. Incompetent staff and doctors. They do not look at your results properly here, they don’t care, and they are always in a hurry! I’ve been suffering so bad that I had to visit another walk in clinic where they took the time out to do proper tests and gave me the correct diagnosis. I did not only waste my time at Connect Care but I put my health at risk!

I was prepared for a longer wait during my walkin after reading reviews, but it wasn't as long as I thought. Hoping it improves though now that I'm a registered patient of Dr. Vivek Kumar. He's a nice doctor and a good listener. Hope the clinic keeps up doing what they are doing.
I wouldn't even give them 1 star. It's been three days that I have been calling them in a row to ask about my mother in laws prescription. First, of all they don't answer the phone. Second, if you even leave a voicemail with full name and date of birth they still call you and leave you a message saying we need your date of birth to pull your information out of the system. They don't even hear your voicemail completely, so when you call them again there is no answer. It's really frustrating. I called today again at 4:15 pm. A lady picked up and she told me that she was going to put me on hold, instead of doing that she hung up on me. Zero professionalism and zero respect towards patients. My mother in law needs medication and I am still waiting theres been zero response. I wouldn't reccomend anyone to this place.
Very careless staff. Customer dealing is not good. They are not serious with the appointments too. I changed my appointment a week ago. When I walked in the clinic according to my appointment, the receptionist told me that doctor is not available today and I had no choice other than reschedule my appointment. That was totally wastage of time for me. So my first experience with this clinic was bad.
My family has found very good family doctors in Dr. Kumar and Dr. Benerjee. Both doctors interact with you in very professional manner. Staff is good when you are in person, at the clinic. Phone calls for booking appointment or any other inquiry is not as impressive. Most time after holding for long time you are asked to leave a message. But the reply never comes. Also if the automated call system is going to repeat eveything in Punjabi, have that language selection upfront, so that I don't have to listen to every option in 2 languages.

This is one of the worst places to go. Sadly it does not allow me to give it a 0 rating because they deserve just that! The receptionists here are so rude. They hang up on you and are never polite. Booking an appointment here always feels like going into war with the receptionist. Calls are on hold for 10 or more minutes and they do not even acknowledge you. Really horrible unprofessional staff. Nothing against the doctor's just the receptionist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service and a waste of time. Been going here since I was born and it's just gotten worse and worse every year. I had an appointment today (Thursday) at 11:45. I had woke up with a sore throat Sunday so I went and got tested that same day and the results came back negative. I told all this to the lady who called to confirm my appointment yesterday and she said that it was okay and they would see me tomorrow. Fast forward to today and I go in at 11:45 and fill out their covid screening and they tell me to go wait in my car. 45 minutes later I get a call saying I can't come in to see the doctor. They made me wait 45 minutes to tell me that, EVEN THOUGH they said yesterday it would be fine. Absolutely abysmal service from the reception. The doctors are great but the receptionists should not have a job. Never coming here again, made me waste a whole day of work to be told I can't even be seen. Atrocious.
Really helpful staff and awesome doctors
Honestly, the doctor I went to see was great. Super nice and caring, Dr Leila Juma. My problem is with the office. I had an appointment over the phone for 4, they didn't call me until 4:30, and I went to answer it and the call dropped. When I tried to phone back, it said the clinic was closed even though it said it was open til 7 on the website. Left a message and didn't hear back. Staff is pretty rude as well when you call. To save yourself a headache just go to a clinic that is better organized. The 2 stars is because the doctor was great, 0 stars for the clinic itself.

This is the most organized and thorough clinic I have ever been to. Sometimes it's difficult to get through the phones, but I understand they are busy and are doing the best they can. Anytime I have left a message, they have returned my call. They're very careful to follow protocols for covid, and I feel safe when I come here. I usually have a lot of fear that is difficult to manage when I go to the doctor. But the front staff and Dr B have done their best to make sure I feel safe when I come to ask for help. I truly appreciate this, as I have not found many doctors who take the time and are so careful to make sure I feel safe and heard. Thank you so much!

Please read the reviews before coming to this clinic I would not recommend this clinic. Dr stood there talking about how over weight my kids were Didn’t do any physical examination for them I pulled them out of school and I asked the receptionist for a note She had no idea what I was talking about after I explained to her like 3 times what I was asking for Then she asked me to wait until the dr was done for the note because she was not allowed to do that. As far as I know.. it’s part of their job Then she turns to me and says it’s 20$ for a note saying my daughters were here to see the doctor. But that fee falls under a sick note.. and my kids were not sick!! They were NEW PATIENTS!!! HONESTLY THE WORST Receptionist I have encountered in years. & I’ve been a doctors assistant for 4 years, I have my medical office diploma & Passed with 100% customer service skills Receptionist is not at all welcoming She’s sitting at the desk with her head phones on. Telling me to wait around the corner of the desk. And I was perfectly fine waiting there. She seemed very bothered and annoyed. She didn’t look too friendly either. Only one lady was very nice and welcoming and I didn’t get her name. Definitely rate a 0. Thanks to the receptionist that good Dr has lost a family of 4 aka Clientele

Front desk service very bad long waiting for pickup phone
I am trying to call in last couple of the days to book an appointment but they never pick up the call i dont konw how its going to work when you really need an appointment for your family physicians.
They seemed good for walk in but that was when they first opened now they are too busy not sure why. One Dr out of three were good that I saw most don't care about you and have terrible bedside manner. The Dr Jain I saw didn't even know about some alternatives treatment and wouldn't send me to a specialist. Won't ever go again.her only anwser was surgery and doesn't keep appointment times.
Take too long to answer calls. And you are not even put in a queue for calls. They way they have their calls set it is horrible. The phone disconnects after 5 minutes with the message that they are too busy. Have been there multiply times the front staff is not even that busy. The least they can do is set up a queue for call. Doctor's are good thou (not all )

Clinic staff is great and helpful, and the doctors are as well. Great place to go and even though it is really busy, the staff is very accommodating and helpful which is great during Covid times. Even when I couldn't come in to the clinic I was able to have my concerns heard via a phone appointment. Good work!
Horrible customer service; very rude staff...advised their staff that the wife and I were running 10 mins behind, receptionist told us to come by nonetheless, when we arrived she says the doctor may not be able to see you! Would not recommend this clinic whatsoever.
Worst clinic ever. Please don't go there. We should make a complaint to higher authorities. Staff is so rude. Doctor never on time. Even though you have book the appointment still you have to wait approximately an hour. You patients are late by mistake they said no more appointments. Front end staff are awesome! Shout out to Kamal! She's so friendly and always helpful . Clinic is pretty clean and organised. My first doctor was Dr. Kumar who recently moved offices so I can't see him anymore but have now since seen Dr Banerjee, is very friendly and very professional, very easy to talk to.
I had read the reviews about them not answering the phone, and didn't think it could be that bad. Well, it's worse than I imagined. Every time I call, I wait on hold for a receptionist and no one answers and then it goes to voicemail. They don't call back. It is very disappointing that overwhelming feedback is saying how difficult it is to get a hold of reception at this clinic and it is going unheard.

I had an appointment booked. Didn’t have to wait much at all. Doctor was good. Only thing I would recommend is to have longer than 15 minute appointments.
The doctor was wonderful but one of the front staff definitely needs to learn some manners and customer care. She was rude when picking up the phone rude when I asked about walk-ins then when I got rude with her and told her she needed to learn some manners and have some compassion in the medical field her attitude turned around quite quickly. But I did get an appointment right away and I am thankful for that. And as I said the doctor was great. And customer service and phone skills can be learned.
I was looking for a new family Doctor and came across connect care millwoods online, they had alot of bad reviews about the receptionists and good reviews on the Doctors... I decided to give it a shot anyway. Getting an appointment at the beginning was kind of a going back and forth thing, but we finally sorted it out, Doc Jumma is now my family Doctor, from the first meeting with her, I could tell what a great and caring doctor she is...I have seen her about 4 times now, and I have nothing but good things to say about her and the clinic. It's organized, very clean clinic. They always call a day to your appointment to remind you. I have seen Dr. Singh and Dr. Banerjee at this clinic and they are both excellent doctors. I have always had pleasant interactions with the front end staff and they are very organized and efficient. During covid I have felt very safe during my visits and they even reached out to ask if I was in need of an appointment when they received my positive test result. Excellent patient care overall. Do not see Dr. Kumar, I wasted a year with him, and he would not help me. I have developed tinnitus and chronic pain. He told me to pay for a hearing test instead of referring me, and would not even start to try and diagnose my pain. He mentioned I might have fibromyalgia, but at my request to test for it, he sighed audibly and acted as if I just told him to grow a third arm. I can't tell if he doesnt like me, or his job. Either way, he should not be a health care professional because he really didn't care about my health.
Went there as walk-in but after few minutes receptionist (((old lady))) told me that DR RAI won't see new patients. Then what he is doing there? if it so, the clinic doesn't have a doctor to see a new patients.
Dr. Laila Juma is the best family doctor. She is really a passionate medical professional. She takes every medical problem of her patients very seriously and try her best to treat it in the beginning. I would definitely recommend her to my friends & family. Completely satisfied with her professional services!

I must say this clinic is quite impressive. The staff are friendly and the doctor they set me up with was so wonderful. I usually don't write reviews but the staff and doctor is so great especially during this difficult time with COVID19 and their precautionary measures are up to standard and ensures your safety. I would highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for a good medical clinic that ensures the patients safety, which is much needed right now.
I was looking for a new family doctor, specifically a female doctor, and found Dr. Jumma at ConnectCare when researching online. I had my first appointment with her today, and she was lovely. She seemed to genuinely care about me as a patient, and that was evident from the moment she introduced herself. The staff at the front desk were also kind and helpful. I am glad I found this clinic and am looking forward to having such a kind and caring family physician!

Terrible reception staff, in the last few months I have spoken to 6-7 different reception girls on phone and most of them have no clue about their job. Clearly the staff is untrained to handle patients inquiries. The one time they put me on hold for 20mins and I could hear loud laughs in the background, very rude and irritating experience. If it was not for the Doctors, I would never take my parents back to this clinic. NOT recommended for new patients.

AVOID if you can - Rude, unhelpful and ignorant staff My family Dr relocated to this location and I am so upset about this The front staff are not very friendly. Have no knowledge on medical prodical, triage and medical emergency. I was in the 2 emergency clinics in one day and tried to get in to see my family Dr. The older women at the front desk was rude and unaccomadating. I use to work at a family Dr office so I know they can and are suppose to do fit in for emergencies (such as the one I was having). Another time I also wanted some on a referral to one of two locations and asked for help. I did not get that help, I was looked at like I was crazy asking for basic information the front desk had about referring specialist. I had to call another Dr office that was not even mine Dr to get this basic information (Wish I got paid to not do my job) I'm really upset about this as my Dr is really great and I like going to him but the front of house staff here are horrible. I would rate them lower if I could. I will also be considering looking for a new family Dr now because of the front of house staff. The pharmacy is great as well, the female there is always very friendly.
When u call them. They give u option 1. To leave message 2. Hold to talk to reception I chosen option to 2 and hold for 6 minutes and end up no one answering my call and ask to leave the message again. Dr Rai original small house services were much better. This new place more doctors but no services.
Front office take too long to answer phone calls. Answers are made by a machine and we have to hold not less than 6 to 8 minutes listening music. After this time, patients have to leave a message for them to contact (usually in the next day). This is not ocasional, but a regular behaviour.
