This place is the worst run office we have ever been to. They never answer calls. When you do call no one seems to know what's going on or you get transferred to a voice message which is not answered. When outside pharmacies or insurance people call the requests aren't filled. At the appointments we have been to they ask the same questions over and over that were answered at previous visits. My husband has a head injury and this office has done nothing but cause increased anxiety and anger.

Extremely unprofessional, poor customer service , rude, mean, and incompetent employees. Especially Brandy who is super rude, and she will hung up on you like it is going out of style. She thinks that she will be young forever, and healthy forever, so that is why she doesn’t help others. I don’t know who is the office manager, and if there an office manager, then the manager should listen to the recorded calls. Because if Brandy continues treating poor , and ill patients like this , then the office May be in huge problem. I’m not coming back to this location, and won’t recommend it to friends, and families. Because of the incompetency of Brandy this office won’t have patients at all. If the employees are this much rude , then what about the drs , and nurse practitioners. So don’t put your health at risk because health is WEALTH. I feel sorry for them????????????????

This place is better than every other psychiatric place I have gone to in the past in the area. They actually care and listen to my concerns and questions, although appointments are a little too fast sometimes but that's if I have only positive news to tell my doctor. Sometimes though they are a little unorganized when it comes to making appointments, getting emails right ect but that is probably my only issue. In the past I didn't even have email services or help making appointments from other psychiatric places so it isn't a big deal. At least they try here.

Best medical care I've had in years! Much like Kaiser, Elica is all-inclusive. They have medical, dental, vision, psychiatry, pain-management, etc. There's a patient portal in which I can directly email my doctor, an amazing feature! They are quick about getting you in, referrals, & follow-ups. I've only had 1 doctor I disagreed with & the issue was resolved quickly. I've had more treatment in the past 3 months than all of last year. I simply cannot say enough good things about Elica (I've only been to the Wright street facility) & highly recommend their services!

WARNING Do Not Go Here! Their answering machine recording say that they have the highest level of patient care and compassion and efficiency but this is not true. I started treatment here and initially it was very good until one of their reps Lisa Taylor would come into the middle of a my therapeutic sessions and ask me personal questions that were inappropriate. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with Lisa they stopped returning my calls and when I finally got through trying to reschedule I was told that Lisa Taylor said that I was suspended from service, when I talk to her she said that was not true but yet she and everyone else including the office manager executive director and doctor Solomon himself of refused to return my calls regarding why my service was suspended without a call. I continue to leave Carl's each week and still no one will return my call. Very unethical way to treat a person that's there for treatment for severe depression. The technical term is medical abandonment It is unethical and perhaps illegal to stop treating a patient without contacting them 1st It has been 2 months and they have not returned my calls Prior to this they had another nurse practitioner that came into my treatment Room crying because she was afraid she was going to be terminated.... very in appropriate and unprofessional service.... They need to be investigated. Update 3/16... I finally received a call from crystal ward after I posted my above review, but only after I posted my review, with some what of an apology telling me I had to schedule visits with a number of professionals before I could resume treatment... I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment and then 30 minutes before my appointment I received a call telling me that the therapist went home early and canceled my appointment. with no other explanation. I left messages again and still have not received a call back... They quite simply do not care about patient care. I have left messages for doctor Solomon himself and his wife and still no returned calls. They seem more intrested in opening new offices and get a new patients rather than taking care of the patients they already have.

Getting medication refills is a process I have had difficulty getting the charges on the correct insurance account. Yan Yan and her assistants are top notch. I am allowed to have telephone calls during these COVID-19 restrictions. All medications are handled quickly and professionally. This makes my life easier.

Had a wonderful experience at Advanced Psychiatry Associate’s office. Everyone was very kind and helped me get the care I needed. My only issue was scheduling the appointment itself. I scheduled an in-person appointment and was told where the office was located; but later learned that my in-person had been changed to a telehealth call instead without my knowledge. Once I figured this out, I changed the appointment so that I could get an in-person but afterward was met with constant calls reminding me of the earlier (wrong) appointment. I made another call and cleared things up but the experience was very frustrating over the course of those days.

They have helped more in one month than my last psych doctor did in seven years. You can tell they really care about you. Not just ignoring problems like other psych's. Also the medical staff are so attentive and caring they don't treat you like you're a second class citizen. My m.a.breanna hill helped me so much she never says I'm a bother to her. They all have great bedside manner. If your current psych regimen hasn't helped you as much as you feel you need, our are not addressing your problems I would definitely give them a call, you couldn't be in better hands.

Talking with the doctors is very easy they are good with at least that! Now when it comes to anything after that they don't just drop the ball, they lose it entirely! Twice I've been prescribed a medicine to help alleviate my anxiety and panic attacks and stop my chest feeling like it's going to explode, and twice i ended up not getting them. I was instead given an alternative cus they wouldn't even attempt at going the extra mile and just make a couple of phone calls to fix the situation. I didn't react good with the new meds so i was taken off! Again prescribed my original meds and what do ya know i can't get them...! Oh and they weren't even sent to the pharmacy until 4 days after i was prescribed them. I was told i would be sent a diagnoses of my symptoms which is what medical is requesting! When i called i kept getting transferred to a voicemail so i did in fact leave a message(out of 4 or 5 messages I've left not one call back to respond). I was told again that the pharmacist would be called to help remedy the situation. I gave her plenty of time(6 hours) before i was told she never called. I called again asking for any form of management and left a voicemail cus go figure they don't answer there phones. That was 3 or 4 days ago and nothing. My symptoms prevent me from being socially awkward and go through my days without panic attacks and what feel like little heart attacks! Now I'm not sure and I'm probably wrong but isn't that on the border of malpractice? At the least patient neglect! Right now I'm on edge and my chest hurts constantly just to even beat l breath from the extra anxiety they continue to cause me when all they need to do is fax a piece of paper and make a phone call, maybe 2. They retend to act like they care but i think actions speak louder than words and my chest pains are a physical reminder of just how they really do care. Maybe it's just me and I'm the lucky one, and both times for the same thing! I hope that someone on their end sees this post and maybe does more then just lie and say they're going to do something and then flat out lie and not even lift a finger. Maybe they could help me get me the medication that they prescribed me. All it takes is to just simply do what they said they would do. Also the reason i can't get approved for disability cus it's been impossible to work with any sort of stability or reliability! So I'll put this so anyone, even a cold could understand and appreciate, YOU GUYS AT ADVANCED PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATES SUCK AND EVERY TIME I HAVE TO DEAL WITH YOU I END UP MORE ANXIOUS AND STRESSED OUT THEN I HAD BEFORE!!!!!!! P.s. even writing this review hurts my chest! And i doubt they will even see these let alone do anything to address and tux this messed up situation I'm in!

The doctor I saw was fantastic! As for the office staff they are rude. I am hard of hearing and I speak loudly. While I was talking to a trainee who told me she couldn’t hear me so I talked louder and all of a sudden another staff member came on the phone and was telling me to stop yelling at the trainee! I was never yelling. She was downright MEAN to me. I tried to explain the situation but she took over the convo and treated me very poorly. I have a call into the manager but I doubt that person will call me back.

Unfortunately many of the for-profit health care system issues effect patients here also. Strict fees and policies are necessary for this office to function as one of few community psych providers in Sacramento. However, many individual staff I have worked with have been supportive and understanding. Crystal Ward, Clinical Director, as well as the staff who work with her (Jordyn), are working hard to provide efficient care to patients. I have seen several receptionists handle unfortunate situations professionally. Most often it is a system issue, or miscommunication, but many patients are in a hard place and react negatively to the receptionists. As a mental health awareness advocate myself, don’t let a bad experience turn you off from seeking the help you need. You are your own best advocate, and going up the chain is all we as patients and family can do to improve the system and individual staff members’ incompetencies. You are not alone, and you are loved. Keep pushing.

The psychiatrist completely skipped over the section that asked about symptoms of anxiety and dismissed my problem completely just because it "seemed" like I didn't have anxiety because I came to the appointment by myself. I wasted the majority of the appointment talking about her life or signing wavers. Hundreds of dollars just for her to tell me I didn't have a problem that I specifically came in for.

I went here because i am having bad mental break downs. They are okay with giving me an appointment but on the day for my appointment it felt like the psychiatrist was in a rush. I dont know how they prescribe medication like that especially for a mentally ill person. She told me after the session her assistant will call me to set an appointment with her and also with a therapist but it never happened. Her assistant called me about the excuse letter that i asked and she told me i have to pay for that. Theyre all just into the money not really with helping us mentally ill people.

Despite some infuriating bumps with questionable cause, explanations in the beginning of my treatment; 2012, then again during the practices expansion last year; 2019, I am most content and secure with my treatment along with the Clinicians providing my care! I have NEVER has an issue with any of the treatment facilitators from the part time counselors all the way to the Chief of Psychiatric care at Folsom Psychiatry and Associates himself who personally initiated my treatment plan with Psychologists, Counselors, and prescriptions. (An excellent Pharmacology Tx Plan, in fact, perfect!) What is important to understand is that the caregivers themselves, the counselors, psychologists, and undergrads who actually Tx client's/patients are outstanding!! Not one complaint ever! It was only in the “housekeeping” that the frustrations, now resolved, were evident. The fact that both times I did have an alarming concern that I presented to the Chief of Medicine were heard; then further addressed!, speaks volumes for the Large group with many employees! Don’t let difficult initial appointment availability discourage you!! Believe me when I say it’s well worth the extra few days or week to schedule and make that appointment!! (I had to wait two months to get in for my consultation in 2012, this is very common with ANY PSYCIATRIC PROVIDER!) With Mental Health care there are some things we as patients/clients must understand starting with that there are far more of us than there are QUALIFIED people to provide care for us! Know this, except this and DEAL! We don’t have to like it, of course not! We do have to be realistic though or we won’t even begin to accept whatever care we are provided out of resentment or defensive dispositions too busy trying to make our clinician or Psychologist; “WRONG”! Don’t, please, it is not their fault!

Like staff. However long waits to get in cant have standard time for instance most places you have day and hour time slot. Mostly I have issues with so many office policies maybe the staff does too because alot of them have left recently. Sessions s are 45 rather 50 minute. All paperwork is 100$ to EDD, FMLA or to your employer which I have never had to pay at other places. But its ridiculous to have to have pay again to update it as only thing that changes is date which takes less 5 minutes. If you have chronic condition you can No longer get work accomdation for more than six weeks in middle of Covid with so many of are struggling. Industry standard is 6months or year so only reason change is to get more money client.

After a long frustrating experience, and feeling utterly hopeless, I paid cash out of pocket to see a psychiatrist outside of kaiser. I met Dennis at the Folsom office, and it was the first time in a long time that I felt really listened to and that someone was actually intent on helping me. I love Dr. Cribari, so far. I think she will be a great asset. Front desk is less than helpful. But the office manager was kind. they do have a $100 fee for filling out paperwork which they are legally allowed to charge, but it's reprehensible to have people already struggling have to pay $100 for paperwork required for them to get paid. Its just unethical. I am glad someone noted that the therapist that they were referred to wasn't covered by insurance - be sure to check that, as I will. If you are going to a psych doctor, she did urine, blood and DNA testing. I was given the paperwork for the DNA testing after it was done, and there is a huge charge for that, as it's not covered by insurance. So be aware of that.

I do not recommend the psychiatry, and encourage any to be wary of this office in general. If they feel comfortable advertising autism assessment/diagnoses on their website, yet put you in front of someone who is not qualified to offer this service and is misinformed on the subject in general, I would not trust the validity of the other services. Vulnerable people come to you for guidance, not to be further confused. I feel lucky that I have researched enough to know the outright dismissal I received from the psychiatry nurse holds zero validity. Unfortunately I was already out $250 when I realized the person I was meeting with had no idea about ADOS, wasn't using the DSM 5 and seemed more interested in getting me to start long term therapy at the office than listen to all the personal anecdotes I had gathered for each diagnostic criteria. A truly embarrassing display of "professionalism." Similar to other experiences here, I really felt unheard, and quite frankly taken advantage of. The appointment also lasted less than the agreed upon time, which they make you pay for BEFOREHAND.

I have never had a more frustrating experience with a medical practice. I have had issues with this place from the first appointment. These people will do the bare minimum to ensure they can squeeze any money they can out of you. In fact, they will go out of their way to make your life more inconvenient in order to get more money from you. They also have insanely large fees for paperwork, access to your own medical records, cancellations, and pretty much everything else. They won't do anything without charging you for it. On top of that, getting paperwork from them was an absolute nightmare. I called 7 different times, and talked to 7 different people before I was able to get my request for disability paperwork started. This process took several weeks, because I had to leave voicemails for every single call, and only one of them ever called me back. I spoke to receptionists, paperwork handlers, and even managers without any progress. And once I finally got my paperwork started, they charged me $100 for it, and a week later, I still had received nothing. So I called them AGAIN. And they told me that they had made a mistake and that I needed yet another appointment with the doctor in order to complete my paperwork (another co-pay, of course). It's so frustrating that getting paperwork has been this insanely difficult. And I wonder how long it would have taken them to call me about their mistake if I hadn't called first. Overall, 0/10. I'm switching to a new practice and I do not recommend this place at all.

Good people, I would have given 5 stars but somehow the scheduling office messed up the appointment time and/or changed it last minute without letting me know. I was told and confirmed via text 1pm (and also have a printout), but then i got a call from a different Dr. then i was expecting at 12pm saying that's what her calendar showed and that she wasn't able to change it to 1pm like it had been scheduled.. Not because she had another client, but because that's when she took her lunch.. and i had taken time off work specifically for that 1pm appointment!! I have 2 voicemails from the same number, 1 the day before confirming my 1pm in-take appointment with Karen Huss, and then i got one the morning of suggesting they were confirming a 12pm appointment with an Amber (don't know the last name cause it's not on my printout like Karen's is). I'm not sure who in the office or how it got mixed up, but it was VERY frustrating to say the least! Why did they change the person and time at the last minute when all of my records will proove i should have had a 1pm with Karen Huss... not a 12pm with Amber? That being said, aside from being blindsided an hour early while i was still at work, and then acting like it was my fault somehow, Amber seemed to be nice enough and wasn't the switching of Dr's that bugged me as much as changing the time on me did, especially since i hadn't yet even met Karen.. But this was only a simple in-take so my review is only based on that encounter.. I have also met with a Julie Bergman who has been very pleasant and helpful with no scheduling conflicts yet, so if it were just her i would give 5star and she is what's keeping me from giving less than the 3star i did give. I would have liked to schedule a follow-up with...Amber/Karen?, but i'm not playing those games again!

I am so excited to be working with my psychiatrist and the rest of the team at Advanced Psychiatry Associates. The one less star isn't really them. It's just that I'd much rather have weekly video visits. The needs for mwbaal health are taxing to the existing system. Especially covid. I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR STAFF AND DOCTORS to assess and treat your mental health concerns. I've toted over a half century (yikes!) of baggage. As i imagine it, in the best way, APA is the baggage ???????? Claim in reverse at the airport! Work with APA and drop off all your excess and baggage! Toxic? Dysfunctional? Manic? Depressed? Stop carrying that one baggage and let the team lighten your mental load! Phew! Thank ???? You sooo much for helping me realize me! ????

Poor customer service, rude, mean , unprofessional, and incompetent employees. Especially , Brandy who is super, and extremely rude to patients. She won’t provide the right information, and won’t let you complete your sentences. She will interrupt you multiple times, and will hung up on you when she is done talking. If you call again , then she won’t even bother herself to pick up. This office send me paperwork for new patient appointment, and I didn’t receive, so why shall I be hold accountable? Please ask your post office. When they called me for confirming my appointment, then they ask for paperwork, and I let them know that I didn’t receive it. Again they got frustrated, and canceled my appointment. I even begged them, but no luck. Finally , they email me the paperwork, but again stated that they need to receive it before 5 pm. So I filled out the paperwork, and send them electronically. But unfortunately again Brandy yelled at me that out of 8 forms she received only 7 , but how? It was all together in one folder , so why you missed one? But no she just wanted to made a mess with my paperwork. But I still don’t know why? Brandy put me on hold for almost an hour , then hung up easily. I’m sure she lied because she received it on time, but just wanted me not to see a dr. Brandy you are heartless person , but I believe in karma.???????????????? I won’t recommend this office to friends, and families not because of the drs or nurse practitioners , but just for office employees.????????????????

Absolutely the best care I have received from any psychiatrist over the course of more than three + decades. Dr. Soliman doesn’t just prescribe pills, put bandages on things, treating people like cash cows then sending them on their way. He definitely encourages patients to become proactive in about their own care and listens to what they’re saying without making you feel like you need to rush because he has to answer and send you along. His staff has always been top notch. Any issues that have occurred have always been dealt with accordingly, corrected and never a reoccurrence. Very friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and courteous ALWAYS. They offer a wide selection of counselors as well. Except many different private insurance carriers. Quite literally turning my entire world around and in a new direction. For the better in every way possible. I’m forever grateful and helping others because of it. Life is a wonderful thing!!! I have had a traumatic brain injury for 7 years and I go here for therapy. I have been diagnosed with PTSD. I have had nothing but great, professional service from everybody here on the staff. I love Crystal Ward who is my counselor, my sounding board and my Obi Wan Kenobi!. She is priceless!!!! We all have jobs that we do everyday. But Crystal's job involves the heart and mind. She changes lives and the way you think and feel. How fulfilling when it works! Crystal has listened for countless hours, helped me with the rage and frustration that comes with a traumatic brain injury, given me "homework assignments" to do, cried with me and hugged me during the good times. I came from a dysfunctional family and have fought depression for decades. I yearned to be happy if I only knew how to fix myself. Well Crystal has shown me the way! She is so knowledgeable in her profession, she's like a personal trainer for your mind. She can teach you how to do a perfect sit-up but only you can do it to benefit yourself. If only you would listen and apply her words. I'm a big student of body language. I love to watch Crystal. it is wonderful when you ask her a question and show her that you are ready to open up a new door and travel down a better path. Her eyes light up, she leans forward in her chair, she squares her shoulders and her voice gets excited. This shows her passion and love of people. These are physical signs you just can't fake and her true colors and passion show through. Crystal Ward has truly helped me become a better person and a much happier, positive person. She truly helps change lives!

Wow. Just wow. For people who are supposed to be good at helping people they are really terrible at working with them. They insist on upfront payment with heavy handed collection tactics before your first appointment! They called at the last minute the day before my sons first appointment and insisted I pull over and pay them for his first appointment the next day. I told them I don’t know and have never met or talked to anyone there other than the person booking the appointment and I didn’t want to pay until after the appointment. They owner would t talk to me and said pay up or go somewhere else (through her receptionist). Obviously not in the patient care industry just in the cash mill business. Will gladly pay for good care but with a start like that you can tell they don’t give a darn. Check their Yelp reviews as well. They sound like a disaster we narrowly avoided.

FEES, FEES, co-payments, and more FEES! They appear to have decent physician's. However, the front office staff, as well as management, are incompetent, at best. The clinic is run like a bank, rather than a professional medical clinic. There are so many FEES and unforeseen expenses at this office. $100 FEE for a note to take a day off work. $100 FEE for a note to return to work. $100 FEE for EDD paperwork (every 6 weeks). $100 FEE for a missed appointment. Perhaps there is a $100 FEE for forgetting to wipe your feet as you walk into their office! They'll create any excuse for charging FEE, after FEE, after FEE. My wife canceled an appointment with her therapist, well in advance, and yet they billed her $100 for a missed appointment FEE. After a barrage of bureaucratic nonsense, they told her they would waive the FEE, particularly because she had evidence that she indeed canceled the appointment. A few weeks later, she walks into the office to pay her Co-Payments and AGAIN they claim she owes a $100 FEE for the same "missed appointment" which they agreed to waive. It's a financial trap, folks. Mental Health Consumers have difficult life circumstances as it is. Unfortunately, Consumers are more likely to be taken advantage of, than the average citizen. Folsom Psychiatry Associates knows this AND THEY'RE BANKING ON IT.... LITERALLY!!! We contemplate whether we're paying FEES for services rendered, or if we're paying FEES for a Circus Act!!!

My fiancé recommended me going here after I expressed interest because he had had good luck with this facility. So, I took the card he gave me and gave them a call. A woman answered and when I told her I would like to make an appointment to see a therapist, she told me only one person could do that for me, and Tabitha was unavailable, but she would leave a note. I was a little annoyed (how do you only have ONE person that can make new patient appointments??? How hard could it be?), but I gave them my cell number and hoped they would get back to me quickly. A week passed by and no call. I call them again and come to find out there was no record of me call! So, I give her my information one more time since Tabitha is STILL unavailable to make my appointment, with a promise from this receptionist (pretty sure it was the same girl as last time) that my note would be marked URGENT. It’s been another week and still no call. Apparently being a female in need is of no interest to this facility, and they should be ashamed of themselves. It makes me worry just how many have reached out for help, only to be discarded because they can’t be bothered to make a simple appointment. At least say you’re not accepting new patients if you can’t be bothered to take the time to get them into the facility to see someone. Good luck to anyone looking for help. I suggest you look elsewhere since they seem less than inclined to help.

The TMS treatment is an excellent treatment path that took me out of deep severe depression that multiple combo medications treatment couldn't do it. I am so thankful that I am able to get that treatment and I wish it is affordable and available for everyone who have depression instead of going to heavy medications with so many side effects. After I finished my TMS course I was able to reduce my medication to a very low dose kind of maintenance. Dr. Soliman is a great Dr. I had multiple unsuccessful experiences with other dr. Offices that got my health much worse. I highly recommend Dr. Soliman and his staff. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. They excel to give you best support. I had also TMS Treatment with other dr. Office with different practice but I didn't get max results and benefit as dr. Soliman office TMS Treatment. My TMS technican Paige was a great supporter. She set up the machine to comfort me the most, set it up fast, keep checking on me, and meet and excel for all my needs. She is on the dot in terms of apt and do her best to accommodate my schedule even after hour, contact the dr with any message or REFILL I need, and even urgent dr scheduling .she is such an amazing person with an amazing personality and professional experience. Above all is the director Abeer who worked with the insurance to get my pre authorization and get my treatment started. Thanks for the great team work.

The only suggestion I have for improvement is that the no-fragrance policy that is offered there be followed in the waiting room by staff at all times, and to not use fragrant air freshening products. It wasn't until I threatened to file a suit for negligence and mistreatment. They will prescribe you anything and everything they can think of without knowin your full medical background. I suffer from multiple health problems and they add to depression, anxiety and insomnia. They neglect to send necessary request for authorization forms to my workers comp adjustor which leads to me not being able to get refills for my prescriptions. Every medicine they have given me has warnings to not stop taking abruptly but every month when I need refills I have to experience severe withdrawal symptoms for multiple weeks sometimes. I have ended up going to the emergency room several times due to this kind of issue in my care. They do not care about patients or their well being. Do not waste your time or money for below average care!!!!!

This place is 100% about the money. They could care less about the patients. You cancel your appointments and they still charge you outrageous fees. Here I am a year and half later and experiencing a major mental health crisis, trying to make an urgent appointment and they inform me that I have a $600 balance!! WTAF. From when- I didn't receive a bill for that. They tell me its no show fees for appointments I cancelled!! I work it out to where I can borrow the money to pay them regardless because I really need to be seen and before doing so ask when I would be able to be seen. She responds super snarky that she doesn't know, I have to pay it first.Yeah I cannot do that- I need to get seen. Nobody at this place cares, no empathy at ALL.Bottom line is that they do not care. AT ALL. I am going elsewhere.

My son has been seen here by Dr. Soliman for the last three years. Despite a move to Woodland last summer, we still take him to Folsom Psychiatry for a few reasons. Firstly, they accept Tricare, which is a tough thing to find around Sacramento. Second, appointment wait times are unusually short. We can often be seen in less than a week when a new issue pops up. Lastly, just this weekend my son lost a prescription. The team was very responsive, and we managed to get the refill request processed same day. 10/10.

No one picks up from any line. I had an allergic reaction to the prescription and nothing in response to my urgency. Have you ever heard the quote "somewhere out there is the worst psychiatrist in the world and some poor soul has an appointment with them tomorrow". This is THE ONE. The practice is poorly managed and the office and medical staff are not equipped to provide any modicum of proper patient care. I needed help badly. I couldn't find anyone who took my insurance until I found Advanced Psychiatry. The intake process is thorough, they take blood work and check it before prescribing any medications. They offer a genetic test that shows which medications will work best for each individual and which medications to stay away from. This takes the guess work out of the equation which means no more "start on these and we will see how they work for you, if they don't work we will randomly try a different medication". That process can take months to years before finding "what works". My psychiatrist is professional, takes his time during our appointments, always asks if I have any questions or need anything besides my current medication refills. He is kind and easy to talk to. I feel like he really listens to me and genuinely cares about my mental health. Not only does advanced psychiatry offer Psychiatric services, it also offers therapy with a variety of different clinicians, making it a one-stop shop for all of my mental health needs. The supprt staff is amazing. They call and text appointment reminders, they also call the day before my appointments to take my co-pay before the session and then again, immediately after the session to book my next appointment. They are nice and efficient and consistent. Which I need. They understand mental health and how it impacts behavior, they are very good about keeping the clients on track for their appointments and medications. I trust them implicitly. I cannot recommend them enough. If you're looking for care, you'll find it here. They are simply the best, bar none.

Do not waste your time with this highly unprofessional business!!! The therapist assigned to my daughter was completely incompetent, always looked and acted stressed out, overworked and she was continually unfamiliar with the reason my daughter was seeking assistance as if she never bothered to read the chart or file prior to visits. To make things worse, I was sent to collections for a bill that I actually paid that they failed to assign to the correct account. They never sent me a follow up notice or subsequent request for payment, they never bothered to call me about an "unpaid bill" or gave me any notice that they were missing a payment. Instead they just sent the matter to collections with no follow up with me and when the bill collector contacted me, they made me do the legwork to prove I had paid the bill. Once I provided the paperwork, they were unapologetic and made excuses for their utter lack or professionalism. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS FACILITY! Between the awful therapist and the horrible billing and admin staff, everything about this place made for a horrible experience and a complete waste of time.

Genuinely blessed to have found Folsom Psychiatry associates. I moved here from Texas recently and was worried about continuing Psychiatric care when I arrived. Folsom psychiatry has made the entire process worry free for me all the way from the front desk to the doctor. I had a panic attack after getting my blood drawn and the nurse was amazing and immediately responded to it happening she asked if I needed anything and all I could mutter was "something cold" she RAN and grabbed me an ice pack and cold water. I was apologetic because it was embarrassing and she was amazing but she wouldn't take my apology because these people actually care about their patients and know and see what you're going through. Doctor Hasnain is amazing, kind, genuine and thorough. I highly reccomend Folsom Psychiatry Associates if you're looking for a Psychiatrists office that actually sees you as a human being and not dollar signs.

I just want to say off the top that my psychiatrist is amazing. It’s the staff that’s the problem. From the beginning they spelled my name incorrectly (I spelled it out for them twice). I caught that it was incorrect several days later after all of the paperwork had been signed under the wrong name and medication had been prescribed incorrectly. They take forever to get back to you with concerns, if they even do. They don’t call back for follow-up appointments (which is their policy apparently), I have had to call. I have never had a more problem-filled medical experience in my life! Unless you want to the staff’s jobs for them, DO NOT GO HERE.

Our family member is seen at this office through worker's comp. Most of the clinics that accept WC insurance are horrible to work with. Not this office. The provider, Cortney is wonderful and recently there was a problem with getting a medication authorized. Cari in the billing/RFA office has really gone out of her way to get the paperwork completed and contacted the insurance company to get the authorization pushed through. She has called several times with updates so that we too are able to follow up on our end. Never has an office shown so much effort and concern. Cari, you are truly one in a million!

I called to get a new appointment since i never got a follow up call/never provided copay for my last appointment, their receptionist transferred me without saying anything to an unmanned phone number. When I called back to speak with a manager to discuss the poor service, the receptionist did the same, without a word to me other than an initial greeting. I haven't dealt with many of their doctors and practitioners, but their customer service is abysmal and unacceptable, do not go hear if you have other options available.

I would not recommend this to anyone that I know or even disliked. I had a horrifing experience. The therapist was cold, monotone, very matter of fact, felt no need to introduce herself. I suggested talking to your pet instead of coming to this Folsom location you would feel better versus worse. Not to mention the office feels very institutional. When I saw all of the ugly depressing informational posters and ads blasted on walls and ads on tables I should have run because it was an indication that my session was going to be icy. She could have just handed my another paper to fill out or I could have marked the boxed instead of watching her check them as she looked up and looked down. I could go on but I will leave you with the fact that the therapist herself looked like she was worn out, in need of a better hygyne routine, and some time off.
