Dr. Afidi Saved my life!! He has nailed every diagnose to a T!! I'd highly recommend him! i see complaints about him here and there, honestly I believe some are just people that need to be told that DR. Google isn't always right. He tells it, how it is, if he don't know he will have somebody give a second opinion that is trained in what hes assuming!! not DR. Google, I seen 4 different doctors in town with test done ETC. nobody was pointing me into right direction, finally on deaths bed ready to say good bye to everybody, Afridi come in and in about 4 mins he suggested to us what he assume it was, ran couple test, got the treatment i needed, me and my wife were more then impressed, after receiving some treatment that night I was improving but still had a long road to go, 3 yrs later i have started my own family, loving life again thanks to this guy! i owe him everything!!

Dr Afridi has been my dr for 18yrs I used to recommend him to everyone but the last few years he’s gone down he no longer has any bedside manner he has misdiagnosed me twice and will barely acknowledge my 12yr olds health problems....he has wasted almost a year of my life with misdiagnosis And neglect the pain I am in and still dealing with should have been taken care of months n months ago yet here I am basically starting over and looking for a new dr so my son and I can get the treatments that we need and have been going without

Was not able to understand my epilepsy , and I suggested that he also have contact with my Nerologist . He said no. Next visit he was asked to fill out my renewal of forms & didn't complete them properly , so I asked him nicely to fix a mistake I noticed because I brought my other ones in . He said if you don't like it get out. Find a new doctor . Then said I needed double my medicine & told the nurse to no let me come back X I took the refill to my pharmacy after saying to him , that that wasn't a good thing to do, but even the pharmacy agreed that was far to much . So they called my Nerologist and got a new refill on the same medicine. He ended up making me cry in is office . I also st has an emotional seizure there . I had to leave. I'm glad I did I'm afraid to go back. He sent me for major tests. Now he has not allowed me back into his office. . GOOD IM GLAD I WONT EVER CONE BACK ‼️

He's a good doctor but I still have my complaints about him. I can hardly understand him when he was talking to me (not his fault). Also he doesn't take time to listen to me. He pushes me away almost if he doesn't give a darn about me. But I have switched to his wife and she is much easier to understand and does take the time to listen. With her I feel comfortable and confident when I'm talking. I also like how she really try's to ask you about every detail and examines everything you complain about before making decisions. Your probably thinking we'll all doctors do that. Um... not in my experience. For instance her husband never said more than 10 words to me during an appointment and basically just wanted me out as fast as possible.

He is a very good doctor but he is way to busy. He has his commitment to his practice and the emerge at the hospital. Many people think he is greedy but working in emerge only pays 1/3 of what he will get at the office. He just wants to cure as many people as possible. Yes it can lead to a misdiagnosis but who is a 100% all the time. Considering the volume of patients he puts through it is incredible he cares so much .you realize that he is doing an incredible job with all the factors.he is a great doctor actually

Dr Afridi didn’t look at my rash.He just gave me lotion and told me to come back in two weeks. But the rash has been getting worse for 6 weeks already. He was very rude and didn’t care to answer my questions.

Not thorough, no bedside manner. I am honestly don’t know how he is still practicing. He has crossed the line several times, I’d rather be loaded in the back of a rusty old pick up amd taken to the veterinarian than see him again.

If I could give negative stars I would. That was the most unprofessional worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I had started seeing him because my wife goes to one in the same office. I didn't really like his at first so I tried someone else too and they had shut down so I came back to him because I was having some tests done and he actually told me off because I went somewhere else and I had to follow his rules if I wanted to see him.

Honestly it's unfair that Afridi gets so criticised he actually is a genuine really good person and has gotten nothing but better over time,he will be honest if he thinks you might be taking advantage of the system and react appropriately but he is smart enough to realize that if you need the help and he can help you he will make the right choice,he is a caring person and is a hard worker clearly who sacrifices alot of time helping people.

Dr.Pieterse was my family doctor for a big part of my life, I came to her with a sensitive issue, expecting her to be non judgemental or biased as a doctor SHOULD be. She was not. She let her own morals get in the way of her profession and I left her office feeling very judged after she made rude comments about the personal choices I had made. Will never see her again.

3 time leaving 1 star. He is aweful in everyday. Rude,disrespectful and not knowledgeable. Bases diagnosis on assumptions. Terrible grande prairie will celebrate your departure.

Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful for no absolute reason asked for a full check up and gave me complete attitude saying ok then told me to leave nothing else was done no regard for my care at all nor my grandfather's as he came and complained he had body pain then was giving autism pills by dr Afridi now those pills have made him very ill and he's in the hospital because of him. Extremely unprofessional to have that little regard about someone's life that you as a doctor put him in the hospital. Will never be going to his office again! BOYCOTT money grabbing doctors
