I did not enjoy my stay at all. The food was terrible and the room uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful however, and made the stay more comfortable. Thanks to them.

The Albatross is always a wonderful example of smart, professional and considerate service. We come back for the people. From the front desk agents, maintenance staff and restaurant servers, there’s always a smile and helping hand. During COVID-19, the staff and procedures were truly excellent and made us feel safe and cared for. Great work! We have been staying here for years, as we live regionally and come to Gander for a variety of appointments. Always clean and comfortable. As a special point of note - Kathy at reception is the epitome of professional hospitality. She never forgets us, and always takes the extra touch to check in with the whole family, dogs and children included. Pauline in the restaurant is a hard-working professional, with great anticipation of your needs and charming sincerity. Thank you always to all the staff for doing such great work. We can see you all love what you do, and hope you are properly compensated for your hard work and skill.

We've never stayed here but we love the dining room. It's nice and homey with a good selection of comfort foods that are well prepared. One of the best places for breakfast!!!

The restaurant is nothing special, but it's good for a bed of you need somewhere to sleep. Don't know about the other amenities this hotel has to offer though

The room was clean and the lady at the front desk was friendly. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Ordered from the dining area and the food was horrible.

Although technically clean and in good repair, the bare and dated room had as much charm as a student dorm. There was also a strong, stale and gross smell that greeted me every time I entered. I’m not sure what to say about breakfast; I ordered the salted cod, and as this was my first time having the dish, I have no frame of reference to judge it with. I personally found it utterly repulsive and could not finish. 6/10
