Dr. Kodsi is one of the best, I followed him from his old practice to his new facility in Etobicoke. He is extremely professional: he takes time to listen and time to explain. A first rate experience. He goes above and beyond to address all my concerns and the support staff uphold the same standard. In these crazy times they recently responded to an e-mail request I submitted for a non-urgent issue, within 3 days! I was very happy to have received such attentive and responsive care for my issues with all the frenzy going on in the medical world. Thanks Mimico Medical!

My last appointment I was told that since I was more than 7 minutes late my appointment was canceled. The reminder email does not mention late policy and the web site says 15 minutes late *may* result in rescheduling (I wasnt 15 minutes late). I dont know where the 7 minutes came from but the front desk person was rude when telling me about it. I'm on disability and it takes me 45 minutes each way so this was a waste of time and effort just to be treated rudely and denied an important appointment with my doctor. I had positive feelings towards Mimico Medical and its staff but not anymore. EDIT: Dr. Kodsi was very effective at addressing the issue. I continue to be a patient at Mimico Medical and i appreciate his proactive and thoughtful approach with both the administrative and medical treatment. I have updated my rating accordingly.

Avoid calling them, have to wait for 45 mins on the phone, after hanging up and call again, you will be told to hold for another bloody hour. Respond to Owner: Improvement on Telephone Service in the near Future is not Good Enough. Your Phone Service had been this messy since 2018. So if we need to change my appointment or other urgent matter, we will be facing alot of issue then?!

About a month before I had the surgery I didn't even have a family doctor and then I met Tim and mimico medical. I truly don't know what I would have done without them. Worst Clinic ever. Do not make them your family doctor you will regret it. It takes a week for them to call you back and the receptionist blamed it on being under staffed. They have 2 receptionist for 8 doctors, unacceptable. (Response to reply): I have been trying to get in contact with this office for a whole week, but you were able to respond to a google review within 17min?! The new ownership here is a joke.

You have to call at least 4 times before someone picks your call. They will hardly pick or return calls. It’s a waste of your time to drop message. Sometimes their phone is not available and this is during work hours. And oh, to get a doctor to talk to you, smh. It’s so disappointing here. Anyone who knows a good family clinic in Etobicoke should please recommend because I’m tired of calling to speak to someone to say the least.

Dr Kodsi and his team is the best and most professional assembly of medical professionals in the city. I’m lucky to have found this place for a variety of issues that have all been taken care of in the best possible way. He and his team work hard for you and they are all super friendly. I’ve been seeing Dr Mukty for the past year and I just want to say that Mimico Medical staff and the Dr are both amazing. It is true that you cannot get through the telephone but if you fill out the form online for the receptionist to contact you they will contact you based on urgency just like they say they will. A fully wholesome clinic to go to, spend very little time waiting and am able to get a plethora of things done. I've used their lab, physio services, as well as seeing the family doctor. Staff is professional and courteous. I honestly think they care more about my health than I do.

Would strongly consider looking elsewhere for a Doctor. Note: The Doctors themselves are alright (very limited interaction). Please see below. Pro's: +Good Location +Relatively nice staff Cons: -Terrible booking system. You cannot call/walk in, and you are lucky to get a response within a week -Staff are very quick to blame you for their mistakes -Very long wait times. As mentioned above, the Doctors themselves are alright, but generally to see one, you are looking at 1-2 months, and that's if they don't reschedule or simply not call you as agreed upon. I had one situation where I had some health concerns. After 2 weeks of Voicemails and Messages every 48 hours, I gave up and went to another walk in clinic. Second scenario: Had some questions that I needed to talk to the Doctor (This is beginning of January), used their chat as they request. A week later, I get a appointment in weeks to speak to the Doctor. Sure, no worries! Appointment comes, I get a call informing me they have to reschedule, sure, no problemo. Get rescheduled for the middle of February, they ask me to be available for a 3 hour block (11:30-2:30). I reschedule my meetings to make myself available. Appointment day ... no call. At 3pm, I give up and go back to work, have meetings I have to join. As I'm sitting in a client meeting, someone calls me 3 times around 3:30.. figured it was the Doctor, but I can't walk out of the meeting. Check, No Caller ID, no Voice Mail. Next day, I get a email from the office.. Laying the blame at my feet for not being available. When I show them proof that we had scheduled for 11:30-2:30, and the call came almost an hour after that block.. no response for 4 days. I contact back, best they can offer me now is a call sometime in April. Incredible. 3-4 Months to get a 30min call with the Doctor.

Although I have emailed and received a response 6 days after my initial email. My Mother is sick and always needs to have her refill prescriptions sent to her pharmacist accordingly. The pharmacy has faxed them twice and no answer. I am very disappointed with this place and the fact that my previous doctor had recommended them to my family and I.

It takes many days (up to a week) just to get an appointment made/confirmed, never mind actually seeing or speaking to a doctor. Dr. Mike is a great doctor to see. He is kind, doesn't ever rush an appointment, and makes me feel validated and heard. I believe as an in person doctor you probably wouldn't be able to find better (though I've only "seen" him virtually). That being said, the reception and the paperwork aspect is lacking. Reception only sometimes replies to emails, and rarely answers the phone. I had a form that was due to my work by a certain day which the doctor and reception were aware of. I followed up 3 times and kept getting reassurances and now 5 days later I am still without the form and am now facing possible disciplinary action at work on Monday. It's quite frustrating. If you don't require any sort of paperwork and don't need immediate responses from reception then I would recommend Mimico Medical. If there is any sort of sense of urgency I would probably go elsewhere.

Very unsatisfied with delivery of service and reception. I have been calling for 6 days now and have dropped number of emails, voicemails to get a simple appointment with my doctor. There is no accountability factor that Mimico Medical is bothered about. I will be switching my doctor, however I need to be clear that this is not a legit service process and one must re-consider to choose them as their healthcare partner. Sorry guys, not professional!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Kodsi for more than half a decade - he is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable doctor who will take the time to listen to your concerns and explain suggested course of treatment. His staff are courteous and professional and work according to a schedule - which means you will see your doctor on time. (make sure you are not late either or your appointment will reschedule) I highly recommend Dr. Kodsi and staff at Mimico medical for anyone looking for reliable family healthcare.

Dr. Milan is the best family doctor you could ever have. He listens you patiently, very empathetic and provide you best advice and treatment possible. He is not only a great doctor but a great human being with compassion for his patients. But I agree the front desk isn't much friendly and prompt in response. So it becomes a hassle to reach to the doctor sometimes. Hopefully this will get better in future.

The worse clinical in Ontario! -you will die by waiting for the Dr response for your examination result -your calls will never be answered and when you go to the clinic 3 receptionists are doing nothing. -they will suggest you send a message from their website for a fast response, but after you hit send there will be a message saying that "you'll hear a response within 3 business days" -if you had to do blood or urine work, expect you might have to do it again for some reason I strongly advise visiting other clinics in Toronto

The clinic regulations have a charge if you cancel under 24 Hrs from the appointment. But the clinic also doesn't give you an exact time the doctor will see you. So the expectation is that the patient blocks 3 hours between 9-5 and the doctor may call. If the patient has a work/other commitment in that range of 3 hours, and you miss the doctors call, there's a cancellation penalty. I understand that doctors need to function a certain way, but this clearly is an operational design issue. I really wanted to consult Dr. Milan (There are good doctors at the clinic) but looks like i'd need to find another clinic.

I'm not sure where the disconnect is but it is absolutely a major disconnect. The front desk staff I have met are friendly but there is a MAJOR issue with organization somewhere between front desk and my doctor, Dr. Mastouri. A bit of perspective... I've had 6 doctors in 5 cities and I have NEVER had a single problem throughout any of them in 24 years. This office has managed to conjure up 4 issues (1 medium issue) in the matter of 1.5 years.... I don't know what other Dr's in this office are like but again, There is a MAJOR organization disconnect between my doctor and the front desk!

Stephanie and Amanda at reception are wonderful, and the whole experience is so well run. I sent an email regarding looking for an family doctor for my mother. The receptionist got back to me the very next day and I was able to make an appointment the following week. I am very pleased with the professionalism of the medical staff and doctor as I was able to get the proper help for my mother that day that I brought her in as I did not realize that she had very high blood pressure and could have had an heart attack. My sisters and I are truly grateful for the help we received and that my mother has an family doctor since it is not easy finding an family doctor these days.

The practice has many different avenues to book an appointment either by phone or email. Lisa is always polite, professional and prompt addressing your medical inquiries. Dr. Mastouri ensures that your medical inquiries are always handled appropriately and professionally 10 out of 10 stars, always kind, caring, compassionate and professional, it's extremely rare to find someone with her expertise so humble(Thank you for being a one of a kind). I highly regard Dr. Mastouri's medical advice and practice, seeing Dr. Mastouri post getting the COVID-19 vaccine gave me the confidence to get my vaccine this week. I've had a mixed experience with Mimico Medical. The administrative staff can be welcoming and indifferent depending on who you interact with. More importantly, it's been difficult to book appointments. This was the case prior to the pandemic as well. During June 2019, I would call multiple times and nobody would pick up. I'd also leave voicemails and not have my calls returned. Yesterday (September 28), I called the clinic six times from 3:00-4:15 p.m. I then emailed them. Twenty-two hours later, nobody had replied to my email. I can understand voicemails not being replied to, but an email is a clear and direct form of communication. Today, I attempted to call Mimico Medical again. After having to call multiple times, I was finally able to get through. I was then told that the earliest appointment would be October 19. The doctor would be calling me from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Unfortunately, blocking off a four hour block is not possible due to my job. I asked if it would be possible for the doctor to perhaps phone me from 3:00-4:30 or towards the end of the day instead. I was told that was not possible. I'll be switching my family doctor. I hope this review helps Mimico Medical improve their service. If they are busy, maybe they should hire an additional administrative assistant who can assist with phone calls and reply to emails.

They were great and always available, but in the past two years they have become so busy that they no longer pick up their phones and don’t return messages for 3-5 days later. They are also booking 3-4 weeks in advanced. Unacceptable. Even after visiting ER and marking messages urgent, very very tardy.

The care and attention to detail is extraordinary. Having to deal with the pandemic can’t be easy but they where successful. The Utilization of zoom/video chats is a fantastic way to stay in tough. Dr.Kodsi and Tara, the physiotherapist, are extremely professional, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. Their healthcare capabilities are excellent. I have been a patient since Mimico Medical opened and they have great staff as well. At the same time I've noticed lately they have experienced significant growth during Covid which has at times limited their ability resolve issues efficiently. Regardless I will stay with my 5 star review because I know once they will get to a steady state they will continue to deliver an excellent experience.

While the doctor is good, below is how the clinic messed up. I visited Dr. Kodsi to get my nasal infection checked. My history of ear and nose problem was enough for the doctor to refer me to an ENT specialist. After 2 months when i visited the specialist, i'm told the clinic never forwarded the documents of my ear problem to the specialist while the nose documents that were sent were all blurred and did not help the specialist. Result? My appointment with the ENT specialist was a waste and now have to wait another 2 months to go back to him WITH the documents. Who messed up? Mimico Medical. UPDATE: Dr. Kodsi was kind enough to call and apologize on behalf of his staff within an hour of writing this review. I appreciate his efforts and sincerity for trying to keep his patients happy and proactively addressing their concerns.

I was looking for a doctor and found Dr. Negin Mastouri who was accepting new patients in Etobicoke. She was the most amazing doctor and very thorough in her examinations. She was able to address all my concerns and the ones that have been bothering me for such a long time. She explained to me some preventative health screenings I should have which I thought was amazing. She also did a follow up call to ensure that everything was taken care of and to share the results of the tests. She is so lovely! If you are looking for a family doctor in Etobicoke you will be lucky to have her.

I saw that this office is accepting new patients I contacted them only to have to wait super long for an appointment. Not to mention a chat bot is a waste of time. When I got the initial phone appointment they changed it then told me the doctor only works certain days. Over all I should have read the reviews. They can’t accommodate their current patients and are so greedy for money but cannot assist new patients either.

Besides the doctors, this is honestly the worst staff I've ever witnessed. Covid has been used as the excuse for 6 months as to why they are so incredibly disorganized. But the reality is, the staff responsible for setting apt, calling people back, emailing responses, etc, they should all be immediately replaced for killing the reputation of these fine doctors. I'm sure there are more efficient people desperate for jobs that could save this office administration. 14 year old babysitters are more responsible and punctual than these folks. Be warned. Use this office if you have NO urgent needs, hours within your day to wait for a call and at least 4 business days (if at all) to get a response back on an email.

He stays up-to-date on new developments in medicine and has what seems to be a pretty sophisticated computer system that he uses to take detailed notes.
