Thank you so much to you and the Apple Tree Clinic staff at 2948 Baseline Road, Ottawa, for taking such good professional care of me when I was referred for removal of a then but fortunately no more suspicious tiny cyst in my right forearm. Professional not only from a surgical but also from an empathetic viewpoint. During my visit, I was treated as a person rather than a case. Moreover, I was granted full holistic medical advice. I was very lucky and am grateful to the value-driven doctor you are. I suspect these qualities were partly inherited from and probably also cultivated by your parents, notably your obstetrician father and I am sure your physician mother. At a time where standards seem to be shifting to the worse, being treated by someone like you made me feel good and gave me some hope for the future. Dr. Irwin, for me you are an honour to your profession. And your biodegradable stitching was top-notch. I needed no antibiotic on the quite tiny scar left on my skin or in my tummy. Thank you Dr. Irwin.

By far the kindest and most genuine doctor I have ever come across. Dr Paul Irwin takes the time to listen attentively and will never rush you. What pains you is of importance to him and does not dismiss it as if you’re a nuisance. He patiently and kindly explains with reassurance what’s going on with your diagnosis. He has a very kind and calm approach and is so empathetic. I can’t wish enough that more doctors were like him. He is an amazing human being. Words can’t express my gratitude for him because I rarely come across doctors/surgeons who take the time to actually listen.
