I have been seeing Dr Bergman for a few years now and he has been wonderful. He has taken the time to talk to me and listen to my concerns and what might be bothering me. He has made med adjustments when needed but not on a whim or without exploring different dosage changes. He is also very aware of the disease of addiction and treats my anxiety with medication that isn't addictive and I appreciate that because I am in recovery. Dr Bergman doesn't over medicate me like other doctors have done in the past. I would highly recommend Dr Bergman.

The office staff are terrible, which is unacceptable for a mental health care provider. I have repeatedly found it difficult if not impossible to reach anyone. Today, for instance, I needed to touch base with the office regarding a prescription refill. I have called 10 times during normal business hours with no answer, so I am left hoping they'll check the answering machine when they won't even answer the phone in the first place. I have no idea why I can't just email things like this rather than repeatedly waste time trying to make a phone call during a work day. Edit: Dr. Bergman often did not listen well to me and refused to diagnose me with PTSD (that I was later immediately diagnosed with by my next provider) because he didn't want me getting a certain medication.

Upon arriving, I was very warmly welcomed by his receptionist who was very informative and sweet. Dr Bergman came out to the waiting room and even introduced himself ahead of time. He even introduced me to all of his staff and showed me around. During the evaluation, his was thorough and understanding of my condition. Even though I felt hopeless, he let me know that he would try to do everything he could both with financial issues and my mental illness to get approved for treatment that I was trying to receive. He seems very patient and knowledgeable unlike many doctors that I've been with in the Cleveland area. Dr. Bergman gives me hope!!

Not happy with this doctor at all! He saw my sister months ago and wanted to adjust her medications for alzheimers. We had a follow up appt which he cancelled due to illness. They couldn't get her in for another appt for many weeks. That appt was for today and they cancelled again!!!! In the meantime, my sister is now on her way to the emergency room...which might have been avoided had the doctor bothered to see her since adjusting her meds months ago!!! Unprofessional!!!!!

Dr. Schenkelberg has been wonderful. He is kind, professional, and a wonderful listener. He has worked diligently to try and find the medication that works the best for me, with the fewest side effects. The office staff is wonderful! They have returned every one of my calls, and have always worked with the Dr.'s schedule to fit me in when I have not had a scheduled appointment. I greatly appreciate all they do for me. I would highly recommend this practice.

I didn't like this doctor. He was ready descendants of the mental hospital just because I was going struggling and I was going through something. This doctor doesn't know anything about mental illness. I have had mental illness before over 10 years ago and I have been taking my medication every day. However, I was struggling financially at the time and going through some family problems as well. I had some extreme emotions and he obviously couldn't handle them and he was ready to send me to the hospital at the blink of an eye… When I had a lot of bills to pay and it's funny because I have three active jobs that I was doing find it and still I'm doing fine at. Yet this guy was ready to send me to the Mental hospital because I was angry worried stressed out etc.… He didn't realize that things would've gotten way worse if I would've went in there and miss work for a week or so or whatever would've taken. I walked out in the middle of this guy session and he kicked me out and then billed me $300. This guy is not after your best interest he is after making money and he has not much patience for people who are struggling. I'm finding another doctor screw this guy ....

Prescribers are great. Front end staff does not return calls. Staff rarely able to take calls duri g the day for scheduling.

The Staff is hands the worst!! You are not allowed to communicate with your Doctor to explain your circumstances. Office is run poorly!

All of the office staff needs to be replaced. They are more than rude. When you're going to a doctor such as this, I should not be in tears every time I hang up the phone. Their billing is a mess. I was billed for services more than a year later after I made my account current. I have been going to Dr. Bergman for over 6 years now and I just cannot take it any more. I like him as a doctor, but I cannot handle his staff. I mentioned it before to him, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. I have been hung up countless times, belittled, and made to feel like not a priority at all. Mind you, my calls are to refill prescriptions, ask normal billing questions, and to make appointments. These are all normal occasions with a doctor's office. If they cannot handle dealing with the public, they should not be in the position they are in.

I am a patient of Dr. Scott Schmitt, and he is WONDERFUL. He is very kind and understanding and makes sure his patients understand everything. He is also VERY PROMPT when sending medications to your pharmacy. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I have had a few scheduling problems with reception, but nothing too serious. Definitely recommend Dr. Schmitt.

This doctor is very helpful and always available to speak with me if I have any problems. The staff is great. Office very nice and quiet.
