I have some back problems and was not excited about starting physical therapy at 33, but I decided to go and chose the closest to my home. I was shocked. Friendly service, family feel, very welcoming and very informative. They treat everyone the same, weather you're 10 or if you're 100. Sam is my physical therapist and he is amazing! We chat throughout the whole appointment and I feel he is more of a friend than of a physical therapist! Tammy the secretary is also very friendly and welcoming. I have only chatted with Van(the other physical therapist once, but he was friendly and kind as well. Thank you for taking care of me!!!

I go and see Sam 3 days a week and he does exercises to help straighten my hips/pelvis and lower back. Today was a very bad day as both hips are in immense pain. After the Adjustment at Algonac Chiropractor - LifeCare Chiropractic & Massage and Sams treatment, My pain dropped from a 10 to a 5 in a matter of 1 hour. They are doing amazing job for my recovery from my Auto accident.

This is my second time for the same problem. The last time I went to a large facility and it was good but the therapist was different almost every time. I liked this smaller operation.

Just fresh from Knee replacement surgery and our local P.T. that I had used in the past was no longer there. My wife's Doctor by chance is in the same building as FYZICAL therapy and balance center and mentioned it to me. After talking with Tanya and Sam for a short time I knew it was the right place to go. They are very personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely want to help you on the way to recovery. After only 3 visits I feel a huge difference in my ability and everyone including my surgical team is very surprised at how far I've come in such a short time. It's hard work but they are there every step of the way to motivate and encourage you to succeed. They are 5 star all the way and I highly recommend giving them a chance.

My experience at this place was nothing but great the staff were vary nice and I don't have to wait long. The reason why I needed to go here was because one the first day of summer I broke my fibula when I was petting a neighbor's dog and snap I had a clean fracture that needed surgery you're the end of the summer after it healed completely I had the stitches removed and went the physical therapy which now instead of having pain every time I walk it was like I was my old self again.

Wow! Can't believe how much better I feel! I have had low back issues for several years. The last several months it was so bad that it was difficult to even sit on the couch at night to watch TV with my family. I had thoughts of going to a person trainer because I knew one of my issues was having a weak core. Instead I decided to go to physical therapy and after only 8 weeks working with Sam I feel a million times better. Update *** keeping my 5 star review but wish I could rate them higher. Sam is just awesome! He’s now helped me with my carpal tunnel, shoulder pain and now my wrist after surgery. I actually requested a referral for physical therapy from my surgeon because I knew Sam would get me back functional much faster than I could on my own (and keep me from injuring myself in the process). So glad I went back. My range of motion is Already back to where I was pre-surgery and pain free! Tammy is awesome too! She’s the friendly voice on the other end of the phone when you call and the smiling face you see when you walk in. There’s a level of comfort here that you just don’t get most places. Going in for an appointment is like visiting old friends. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. I had some issues with the surgeon’s office where my surgery was scheduled and considered using a different surgeon and Sam and Tammy went above and beyond everything and even helped me find a new surgeon that took my insurance. If there is ever a reason you need physical therapy definitely go here. You won’t be disappointed. These are truly amazing caring people and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to everyone. Everyone here is awesome! There's just too many good things to say in 1 review. My first appointment I couldn't do much because of my pain levels. By my second appointment we were able to do some stretching and exercises. Every appointment since has been a little more challenging each time (that's the point right? Out of pain, then strengthen to avoid reinjury). My next appointment is my last... And I'm actually going to miss going. Sam is very good at what he does and he pays attention to each exercise he has you do. Oh, and bonus points for him letting me change my appointment time the day of when I was running late. He stayed late to do that for me and it was really appreciated. They're an all around great place and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy.

I highly recommend Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers of Algonac! Less than 6 months post Spinal fusion, I am 100% pain free! I was barely able to walk into the office for my first visit. Dr. Van and staff assured me I would be up and running by the time he was done with my therapy! He was right!! I was always very comfortable and never felt pain or pressure during treatment. It was as much mental training as it was physical! If you have aches or pain and are not ready to consider surgery... I suggest you contact your PCP to see if they would refer you!!

I can’t say enough about this group. All are so kind and caring beginning with Tammy the receptionist who is always so cheerful and welcoming. My therapist was Dr. Van whom I saw for vestibular imbalance. My first visit I could tell I came to the right place. He and Dr. Sam did a thorough assessment of my symptoms and listened and answered all my concerns. Dr. Van explained what was going on and why, and explained his plan to help me get better. I went in feeling horrible, and within a few weeks, I was already noticing improvement and finished therapy in ten visits with a 95% improvement! Hallelujah! Nine visits I saw Dr. Van and one visit I saw Dr. Sam. Both are such kind, caring men who treat you like family. Both are so easy to talk to and even laugh with which makes you feel right at home. The knowledge these two have is beyond words. I have been to therapy for my neck and back elsewhere and have never felt this good after therapy. I may need therapy in the future to address ongoing neck and back issues, this is definitely where I’ll be going! If I could give 100 stars, I would! Thank you Dr. Van, Dr. Sam and Tammy!

This place is five stars in every way. It has a great atmosphere with friendly and professional staff. They are exceptional at following the CDCs guide lines. I see them personally clean. That alone makes this place exceptional. It doesn't end there though! I have been to physical therapy more than more than a few times for severe back pain. I admit I had my doubts about physical therapy helping me, but i was so very wrong!! It feels like i have a new back. That was 13 years ago and im still at 90%!! Of coarse not all physical therapist is the same. They all have thier own techniques or not experienced. This to me is present on the first visit. When the Dr takes the time to explain to you in detail the cause of your issues and his plan of treatment with great confidence, it gives you a sense of hope. All the physical therapist I received treatment from were great. When I came here for physical therapy I was impressed yet again to discover a Dr that was better than great!! His name is DR. Sam. He is truly gifted at what he does and takes pride in it. He treated me for horrible neck pain which was causing headaches almost everyday for 2 months. He explained to me in detail why I was having headaches. Then explained to me his plan of treatment in details. Most Drs don't take the time to do so anymore. Three visits into my therapy and my headaches were subsiding not to mention my neck was already feeling better. You can feel his technique working as soon as he starts it!! Dr. Sam is truly experienced and gifted. He is also very personable. I thank him so very much. Made me believe even more in physical therapy. This will be the place I will continue to go if I need P. T. I STRONGLY suggest trying Dr. Sam. Regardless how far you live. I'm very blessed to live close. The results you will receive are truly priceless. Give him 1 visit and you will be very impressed! I crushed my shoulder in feb.i broke my other shouder years prior so i wanted to try another place. Fyzical is different. I receive a lot of hands on therapy like stretching, massage etc. Noticeably more mobility after each visit. Week 5 and learning to stretch my frozen shoulder at home after therapy is over. Even 5 stars isn't enough, I would give 10 stars if I could. If anyone is in need of physical therapy for any reason, I would highly recommend. I have had chronic neck pain and headaches for 22 years now. I have been to physical therapy before for my neck pain before and unfortunately didn't receive any relief. After that I was very discouraged anytime the Dr wanted to write orders for PT. I knew of someone going to Sam for almost the same issues I have had for so long. After hearing how effective and competent Sam was, I decided to give PT another try. I called and spoke with Tammy the receptionist first to schedule an appointment. Tammy is a great receptionist and is very helpful. The first visit I noticed a very friendly atmosphere. They are also very professional. I watch and see everytime I go that they are following the CDCs guidelines regarding COVID-19. The staff is always cleaning and that makes me feel more comfortable and safe especially right now. Sam is an exeptional Physical therapist. He impressed me after just one visit. Sam is very thourogh with his assessments. He had a plan from day one and let me tell you he followed through on that plan too! I have never had this much relief from my pain until now. I just wish I would have known this years ago. It really matters who you go to and Sam is the best!! He also takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. This will be my last week seeing Sam and I wish it wasn't! Thank you so much Sam for helping me after so many years of suffering. I never thought that I would get so much relief and notice so much improvement in a short period of time! I came in with severe tailbone and hip pain. I was assigned to Van. Van helped me so much I could tell him on my last day I actually woke up that morning without the tailbone pain. Van explained to me even at 64 my muscles can recover to get stronger. We worked on my core muscles to help strength my back. He showed me the exercises to do along with my daily tread mill walks to help continue the process to heal. I plan on seeing Van in 3 months to be re-evaluated. It is up to me to continue the exercises to help heal my body. Everyone there is so friendly and caring. Tammy is the all around girl. She is upbeat and friendly. Sam the other therapist is very knowledgeable about helping his patients with their on going pain. Sam is also very friendly Van my therapist has his doctorate in Physical therapy I learned so much. Most import to breathe through my muscle cramps and pain Deep breathing is important to help heal the body Come check them out. You will not be sorry. I was glad it was only 5 minutes from my home.
