WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. the procedures took 5 hours. At the end they sent me in a room doctor will come and see me. One hours past....Another doctor walked inside the room to see his patient. I asked him if someone was going to come and check on me. He went outside looking for my doctor.....that's when the doctor came inside the room and said "i'm sorry, I forgot!" HOW CAN A DOCTOR FORGET ABOUT HIS PATIENT?! HOW?! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Do not call yourself a doctor if you can't do your job properly. I waited one hour for nothing!
Dr. Ziegler is a great surgeon. He is not Only an expert in his field he is al quite human and is not robotic like some physicians. He listens and has a charming sense of humor. He’s positive and and encouraging. When I had surgery in April, 2019, he was there talking with me before and after my surgery. He’s the best. I,give him 5 stars. I also want to praise Nancy Elmallah, in the Gynocology Unit who did her best to listen to my need for necessary speedy surgery to allow me to eat, sleep and work again without serious pain. Thanks again Nancy, you are wonderful. Meriem T. - [ ]
I entered the JGH via the emergency department. I had a CT scan the same day which was good. I was asked the next day to present myself for an MRI at 8 am. I waited the whole day, it was impossible to obtain information how long the wait will be or how many people were in front of me. At 4:30 pm a Neurology intersn sees me to tell me that I wasted the entire day and that they are not able to see me today. He suggested to come back the next day and maybe I would have more luck then. These kind of conditions are unique in the G7 - in no other country do people wait an entire day just to be sent away. I have friends who lived in countries like Sweden, Germany or France and they fail to comprehend how dysfuncyional the health care system in Quebec is, in spite of the insanely high taxes we pay here....
I'd like to acknowledge the whole staff at JGH, especially dr. Bergman. I had acute appendicitis and I came in emerg on Tuesday night; the pain was not that intense, about 4/10; and i do not have other classic symptoms such as fever, nausea or vomitting. I thought I would not be considered priority. I had blood test, urine test, and CT scan on wednesday morning. And had my surgery to remove the appendix wednesday night. Dr Bergman and his two residents were professional, offered reassurance before the surgery. The operation itself went smoothly, only took one hour. And I was released from the hospital by thursday morning, without any pain or problem. Again, thank you dr Bergman and his team.
Thanks to the new renovations It's faster to see a specialist Alot more room for a better service but it all the same in quebec

The worst emergency service that I have ever seen! I had been waiting for 6 hours and finally I came back home at 4 AM without visiting the doctor! I went there because of the pain in my shoulder and came back home with the pain in my back because of sitting that long on the emergency room seats!!!
A bit of a wait time... but the staff in emergency were efficient. I was pleased.
recently i was suffering from abdominal pain..........i was seen by the emergency staff and hospitalized.........after 2 scans .....i was found to be suffering from a stone in my gall blater which had to be surgically removed..........after 7 days of not eating i was operated on.....and left the hospital 8 days later.........during my stay i must say that the nursing staff did an excellent job...these angels do not get all the credit they deserve........a special note goes out to nurse tenkarra punnett who went above and beyond to answer all my questions and giving me all the information i needed......this nurse was truly my special angel......thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.........i would like her supervisor to know that she is lucky to have a compassionate nurse like this one.......and a special thanks to my nurse on the graveyard shift.......who was always so kind and pleasant......thank you all ....8th floor staff for your kindness and dedication to patient care and well being......this all took place in the last 2 weeks of august 2019.........
Trust me when I say that those worst comments are the most accurate. 5 hours long to finally hear my name then I waited another 2 hours in pain for a doc to come. I came because my ear was hurtting me and I could not close my jaw so couldn't eat. Worst experience EVER.
Not sure how this hospital is even running, honestly. The only person who was even slightly efficient was the admittance nurse. Everyone else was a joke; they were rude and had zero understanding of their jobs. The province seriously needs to look into this hospital. I waited 12 hours to be given pills that I was allergic to and then pushed out without any explanation. I was literally bleeding all over the waiting room and still waited 12 hours without anything to help me. I could have died from excessive blood loss and I don't think a single "nurse" in the building would've cared.
Worst service ever takes the staff 5 years to do anything. The staff is useless and overplayed.

First time and the last time in this hospital ????????
To much delay and you have to wait 4 hours to get your turn . Please donot go I advice you
Best hospital in montreal, where they really treat emergency as an emergency.
Walked in the emergency Monday with gum pain and an abscess (I know abscesses from cavity I had it before and I know dentists do not touch teeth while it s infected) finally saw a student dr that argued it was an ulcer (I had broken the abscess in the weekend) so the broken skin he saw was from that and I told him- his supervisor came in the guy didn’t put gloves on and stayed 2 feet away from me so we can say he didn’t check at all, supervisor agreed with the diagnosis and I was sent on my way with a cortisone cream prescription for ulcer- I requested 4 times for antibiotics but I was ignored- my abscess got worst a lot of unnecessary pain and waste of time went back to the emergency on Thursday saw the attending dentist he prescribed me antibiotics but the kind that made me really sick few years back on a similar problem- so I went again to another emergency to get another type of antibiotics- and now I ll need a drain from all that waste of time for a missed diagnosis Monday, not happy
I saw an old lady waiting 3hr just to receive a paper follow up! After 6hr of waiting, I just left, did not received any service at all! They call you by your first name with bad accent, to make sure you are going to miss your line. And than they will say, you missed your line, now you have to wait from beginning, next time go to clinic!
I don't understand why the lady in the front desk of B-114 yells on you when you make a question. It feels like they're always trying to intimidate people so then you don't ask for more help. There's a huge lack of Customer Service skills. My mother taught me that is not what you say, it's how you say it! If I gently ask where do I have to go I would never in the world expect someone saying that "doesn't know" by almost yelling on me just to inform me that. I am not an expert but I would say something like: "I am afraid Sir that I don't have that information" but apparently is too much to ask from them. This is not about being sensitive, this is about being human with another human in need. After this I ended up with headache and frustration on hands.

I've only been there for testing, so that's all I'm reviewing. Like most older hospitals, the layout is confusing, but they do a good job color coding where you need to go. The system is pretty straight-forward, but YOU MUST HAVE a hospital card! Get that then go to the test center. Pick a number, wait for your number, give them your paperwork, and then wait again to have your number called at the blood drawing area. That part is relatively quick. Yes, you may wait a long time, so bring a book. The staff are very considerate and mostly easy going.
One of the best hospital in Montreal,The doctors and nurses rescued my wife and son.specifically NICU has good team.
The receptionist hung up on me after I waited a good 30 mins on the phone. I only wanted to take an appointment for my dad who suffers from joint pains.
The worst emergency service ever. I came in at 6pm, got seen by a doctor around 10:45pm-11pm and it’s now 3:25 am and they still didn’t call me for the results. I went to see the nurse twice, all what she had to say is « they will call you when they are ready » . Worst ER service

Great place my grandpa Myer Bick works there
Dr ango was horrible he was rude and insensitive
My mom was suffering really bad , they left her in a corner alone and my dad went after a nurse to ask for help and she said that she didn't have 6 arms. Trash place and trash service from the staff. Not only that, inside the room my mom was still suffering and there was a doctor inside with another patient. When he was about to leave, my dad proceeded to ask him for help and he said that this was not his problem and he was gonna ask someone else to come. Absolutely garbage service. They are not doctors/nurse, they are murderers.
They make you wait on the phone for 50 MINS just for taking a Rendez - vous? You kidding me?
no parking after 10am , they still make you turn in , the guy with the sign saying no parking should be at the corner or Cote St-CAth , so you dont waste 30 mins, just to line up to see theres no parking ,

Harrowing ER waiting time. The nurse will take you quickly, but there seems to be only one doctor. Be prepared to wait 12-16 hours SITTING on an uncomfortable chair well into the night. Bring food, water, pillow, blanket, phone, charger, book. Unless you have a respiratory distress, you will be waiting on a cheap chair no matter what your issue is. I've seen a guy with open toes fracture in pain waiting over 8 hours in pain. He was lucky : he was sitting in a wheelchair (extra comfort). Poor guy, couldn't bear the pain and the wait anymore. In fact, it was more unbearable to watch the other clients waiting on those chairs each with their pain : another guy had a problem at his eyes and could not bear the light despite wearing sunglasses. He was hiding into a shadowed corner with a towel on his had. I put a towel on my head trying to sleep a little. My left leg was double size swollen from an infection. I had no choice to be there. Again, no matter what your issue is, how painful, you will learn how to sit on a chair well over 12 hours. In fact, at some point I thought they must have forgot me along with other 7 persons who were also there from the start (plus several others). They put you at lower 'urgency' on the list and it seems they have a maximum time limit perhaps close to 14-16 hours they can keep someone waiting, then they take care of him regardless if he is at the bottom of the list. Welcome to Canada, 9th wealthiest country in the world. Trust me, while waiting there you wish you would actually be living in Angola, they have better health care service. This also made me remember oh so well the nights spent with my young children on the chairs of the Sainte-Justine ER (another horror). It's Canada. No one wants to fire up his brain cell and to put maybe a few of those shelter cots (like a folding bed) for the people waiting at the ER. Not even at the Saint-Justine, for those kids waiting overnight on chairs. I know oh so well that this is not a place where people are used to take human initiatives - they rather prefer to tell you 'there are rules preventing this'. Until then, I've learned my lesson: I'm not rich by any means, but next time I'm going to a private clinic and pay money to be treated.
Every staff member that I encounter was so mean & agressive, they didn’t even look at me while talking to me. It took 2 hours before I was only registered. Worst experience I’ve ever had in a hospital

(Translated) Really disappointed, very dissatisfied with the service, nobody cares about you (Original) Vraiment déçu, tres insatisfait de la service.Tout le monde s'en-fout de tu
The worst experience I had in a hospital. The doctor did a surgery and said he didn't know if it was going to change something to my problem, sent me home with a really bad bleeding nose without anything after the surgery, didn't care that the problem wasn't solve after the follow-up appointment. And they keep sending me letter to make contribution.
Worst hospital ever ! I had ectopic pregnancy with raptured tube , I was bleeding inside . I waited 6 hours in emergency and no doctor visited me . The employees are so rude and irresponsible
Helpful and gave me the number for the doctor who was out of country to refill a prescription. Needed to call a walk in for it, but was surprised they forwarded me to the exact doctor. Also seems to be able to hold down the fort with the Covid going on.
All nurses, secretaries and specialist doctors from Clinic and testing service k1-101were so nice with me and other patients.I was surprise by their conviviality. Nurse and Doctors took a lot of time to listen and explain. Thanks to them, really

Very good service, with a lot of experience.
This is the worst hospital ever in Montreal. The only good thing that came out of this hospital was my healthy baby boy. Other than this is a bad hospital. Anyone that’s having a child please go elsewhere DO NOT GO TO THAT HOSPITAL. If I knew about how bad this hospital was I would’ve never go there to have my son. I’m not going to go into full details but just know that it’s BAD!!! BEWARE of the Montreal General Jewish Hospital ????????????????

Not that appealing when you go inside but as far as service is concerned they are very good... i delivered my baby in dec 2019 they admitted me with a nurse who kept an eye constantly helped me with tips and humour... laughing gas was given... overall everything went great. I said no for male dr so though i delivered in late evening and there was no female specialist the team went in and out to consult with male dr till I allowed him and yes he was an expert. Told me when it was time. After delivery was good nurse came on one call and helped council me.

The waiting time at the emergency room is quite long, but the competent staff makes up for it.
Always terrible waiting time at the blood test center (centre de prelevements). At least 1-2 hours waiting every morning. The stuff is great but way too many people go to this test center.

I arrived at 4:50 AM for an emergency, I left at 1PM after some blood tests and an echo. All the staff was kind and professional. Residents are also very helpful, because they are investigating a lot before a conclusion, so you have the opportunity to tell all the symptoms. Good management. Not perfect, but good. From 4:50 AM I should wait to 8:00 AM for the doctors to arrive, after that everything was pretty fast and efficient.

Attention all people that lived and worked hard anywhere in North America, but Quebec. If you come to Montreal and need any type of preventive assistance, you will fade. Highest taxes in North America and absolutely NO SERVICE IN RETURN, specially health, roads in Africa are better than in Montreal, health system too. My hand has an issue where my thumb is atrophying and needs surgery immediately, I called this hospital today and the surgery doctors secretary gave me an appointment 8 months from now. After complaining about the long waiting the woman said "Complain to the government" and said bye. I WILL PAY THEM A NICE VISIT !!!
J’ai toujours été bien servi, je me sens chez moi, je connais cette hôpital ???? par cœur ❣ le problème c’est toujours le parking et les ponts pour les citoyens de l’extérieur. Félicitations à tous durant cette crise sanitaire. ????????????
One of the best hospitals, if not the best, in montreal. The wait time is decent depending on your case. They take care of you and the staff that I dealt with were not rude like several other hospitals. Just make sure you make your hospital card ahead of time with them.
I had an appointment at Internal medicine, I got there 10 minutes before time but still had to wait an hour to see the doctor! I really felt anxious the whole time I was there, sitting next to other patients and people, during a pandemic. As if that wasn't bad enough, the resident doctor spoke to me for about 15 minutes asking questions and then went to talk to his supervisors, leaving me alone in the room for almost 30 minutes. I was almost about to leave when he came back. I was so frustrated and hungry (mind you, I had been fasting just in case they asked me to do another blood test). I think something needs to be done about this, patients should not be be treated with disregard or kept waiting unnecessarily, especially during a pandemic.

Took a half day leave for my appointment and only was told it is rescheduled when I got there. To be more specific, it's unit G304. The receptionist told me they called 7 days before to inform me the rescheduling but they couldn't reach me and I don't have a voicemail. Well, I do have a voicemail. Even if I give them the benefit of doubt, but they could had call again in another day. Feel like someone is not doing his/her job.

All i have to say is the secretary in the infectious disease clinic is the most disrespectful trash of society you will ever meet
First when I arrived the triage nurse Deborah was being very condescending and made me feel like I was absurd for showing up with chest pain. She tells me I should leave without evaluating me properly. She than assumed to know what I was there for without evaluating the pain, the area of pain, my medical history or anything at all actually. I have a history of clots and she only knew because I decided to take the initiative to tell her my medical past after thinking it was absurd not to ask (I am a nurse myself). After ignoring this information she makes a personal call about wanting to be replaced for her break and telling the person on the other line about the previous patient's ''testicle' issue. Once the call is over she drags me to a room with no information on what we are about to do. She asks me to take my shirt off for the exam and she opens the door to talk to someone in the hallway while I am half nude and feeling already horrible about this experience. She than leaves me halfway through the EKG to a much kinder nurse as she storms off to take a break. Very disappointed Deborah...
(Translated) Significantly visible improvement in infrastructure due to private Judaic donations. Why not since the hospital is open to everyone. A fine example of co-habitation of all peoples at this place where Muslims and Jews and Christians and Riens and Agnostics coexist etc. HOWEVER: Often it is impossible to be served in French, which is insulting and illegal. Otherwise ... let's just say that some departments are worse than others, but there are some where I would not send my worst enemy. Without exagerating. Very dirty in general. 1 in 2 employees is as stupid as their feet. There are several hospitals in Montreal: go elsewhere. I hurt my knee and wanted to book an appointment with a physiotherapist (I have a prescription) but I was asked to walk to the hospital's office to hand in my 'original' prescription. On top of that, I was told I would be put on the waiting list. Definitely looking for another place to heal my knee.
Nice hospital

First you would not allow my husband in to assist me as I have mental health issues. I had to go into the ER alone and wait 5 hours to get seen by a doctor who was so incompetent. She had no clue what she was talking about. She kepts saying she wanted to address my abdominal pain which was not my issue. I told her about the numb/tingling pain in my side and how I was sure I was getting Shingles and needed medication for it. She laughed and said because I don't have a rash than it is not Shingles. I left crying in pain because she was so stupid and would not listen. Went to my family doctor 2 days later and was diagnosed with Shingles.... Your doctors are stupid and show no compassion. Will never go back.
Very good hospital. Caring and attentive nurses, professional stuff, good organisation
Took my COVID vaccine from here. Found them good. But the process could be more easier.
I went to this hospital 2 days ago . I was at the emergency! They took care of me very well. I had to stay for two nights . Yes wait time is crazy long but this is understandable if there are patients who have worse things then me although I was having appendix infection. After my blood work was done I wanted to leave but the doctor insisted to stay to make sure my infection is getting better . They really took care of me until I discharged.
I never wait too long there
Excellent hospital with caring and dedicated staff.
(Translated) Several times I had to be hospitalized for different reasons (brain, pneumonia monocoque, and my right leg they saved me I want to emphasize the work that is done is simply beautiful (Original) À plusieurs reprises j'ai dû être hospitalisés pour différentes raison ( cerveau , pneumonie monocoque ,et ma jambe droit qu'ils m'ont sauvé je tiens à souligner le travail qu'il se fait est tout simplement magnifique
It was my first time at this hospital, I spent less than 7 hours there, nurses and the doctor were nice. For me it is better than Lakeshore in West island and Cite de la sante in Laval
Patient beware ! In trying to get through a certain dept. for a very important examination, I was wondering why the tel.number kept being switched over to an answering machine in trying to re-schedule an appointment. A friend phoned for me on another phone just seconds after and was patched through. Then we phoned on the "blackballed phone number" just seconds after and the answering machine came again. This hospital is able to re-route or block tel. numbers as they want giving priority to patients they only want. Not very ethical and very deceptive !! There is something not right with this hospital. They black-ball patients as they want at their prejudiced convenience.
Arrived at 4:15a.m. on a Friday night concerned that I had sustained a fractured rib. Including me, 7 people were waiting to see a doctor in emergency. At 7:30am I went to the bathroom, and when I came out I asked if my name had been called. I was told no. And then I asked if anyone had any idea when I might see a doctor. I was told that a doctor would arrive at 8am. A reception area employee rudely asked me: "Don't you watch the news? We are overcrowded! Emergency wait times are increased and no one can know when they will see a doctor. There were only 7 of us at 4:15am. By 8am there were no more than 10 people in the emerg. This is overcrowding? When I told the person behind the glass that I had three young children at home, and if there were no doctors on staff or the wait could be in excess of 4 hours it would be kind to tell people... I was told I was free to leave at any time. PATHETIC...and not the attitude we should accept from medical professionals in one of our hospitals.
This hospital has proven to me that they have to regard for the welfare of their patients whatsoever. I went in two weeks ago with two very jammed fingers, one was dislocated that I had put back in place myself. I am an artist and musician and the ability to use my fingers is very important to me so I immediately went to Jewish General to ensure my fingers would heal properly. I waited 7 hours to see a doctor (that's not that unusual), however the doctor took one glance, sent me to get x rays and that was the last I saw of her. Hours later a nurse come to put splints on my fingers, and he has the wrong ones noted in their books. The nurse tells me the hand specialist is gone for the weekend and will contact me promptly next week. Next week rolls around, i hear nothing. I call them, and they say they're booked solid until the following Friday (yesterday, two weeks after the injury). I finally see a doctor, and all they have to say to me is that there is no occupational hand therapist at that hospital and that I would have to go elsewhere for treatment. ... They waited two weeks. Two precious weeks, of pain and worry, that I could have spent healing my injury, just to tell me they couldn't do anything for me. And that I would need to find a private doctor to help me with this injury. Now here I am, two weeks later in search of a hand specialist, something I would have done two weeks ago if I hadn't put my trust in Jewish General. I can't believe how badly they failed me. I should have been notified at the front desk the moment I walked in with a hand injury that there was NO ONE THERE TO HELP ME. Unbelievable. This easily could have been avoided if anyone at that hospital cared in the slightest. But no, it's just a job to them. They don't care if you are suffering, they see 10x worse every day, right? I suppose my lesson here is, if you are concerned, get a second opinion as soon as you can. Don't trust that they will take care of you. You are on your own in this world.
garbage
(Translated) Honestly I waited 12 hours on the spot to have results I am still waiting for them. It is nonsense . We do not treat patients in this hospital we enrich the doctors. Sorry have to do this : this is a post I read JM a month ago- Horrible staff, inexperienced doctors, useless!!!!!! Even though this is partially the government of Quebec's fault, this hospital provides the worst services I have ever seen. Overcrowded ER, several misdiagnoses, refusing to serve me because I don't live in their "sector". They should be sued!!! I was in pain and couldn't get an appointment because of their long waiting list and a receptionist who refused to schedule and appointment.... Excuse me but hey MORON that is the governments decision not the hospital so before you complain about something try knowing the truth, or complain to our government who feel they can screw around with us all they want I have a major problem actually with some of the reviews. I have read so many of waiting time, that in this case is because they too are understaffed and every day it seem more and more people only want to go there. Folk don't always understand that any person who comes in without ambulances they triage you and see who they think needs to be treated first. Same thing happened to me one occasion I came in and had to wait and wait and wait and unfortunately they fifn't think I was sick enough but ended up on antibiotics 2000mg. I don't blame the hospital I blame whoever does the triage. Sometimes these people decide to do things based on the person and not the disease. The second time I came in by ambulance as due to a cold I wasn't getting enough oxygen in my blood, I had never seen a group of people go to work so quickly. We all have problems there and yes it is the only hospital I have ever been to. So you need to expect to wait sometimes and there is nothing you can do. Wouldn't you rather wait then go to another hospital where there is no emergency and even fewer people to see patients. Like I said the second time was different and they moved me into a room a couple of hours later with all the bells and whistles still attached. If you don't like the place find somewhere else where trust me you would never get better service
Waiting here for more than 5 hours and still nothing happened.
Great

Very friendly, helpful and efficient stuff.
I keep witnessing serious misconducts from their staff, lately the discharging of an elderly without calling their family like they promessed. They clearly have no intention to improve their services, so if you go there, better be prepared for the worst...
(Translated) Worst hospital experience of my life. I go to the yard with an English speaker who cuts you off with the 2 words that we try to tell him ... YOU FEEL STUPID TO come to the emergency and say it's better that I spend tomorrow in a Clinic ..... I insist and I tell him that I am sick and I want to see a doctor tell me: "as you want but you will wait at least 8-10h". After 2 hours of waiting I can not go elsewhere I go! Hospital of our ladies: diagnosis: I spend a period of 30 minutes I see a doctor !! (at the yards I am told that my case is urgent) I get all the tests after the meeting with the doctor and finally tell me that I have an infection to the bladder and that if I would not come I would have problems kidneys! THANK YOU TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE JEWISH HOSPITAL WHO HAVE FAILED TO MAKE ME HIS KIDNEYS. I am traumatized and I will never put my feet down again.
Best Smoke meat in Montreal (The restaurant in there) But to be serious... as a hospital, it's hit our miss depending on the staff on shift, if you wait long enough for a different shift to comes in, how overworked doctors are... I have been there so many times for myself (dislocated shoulder) or my mom... It's hit or miss. Sometimes they have been excellent, sometimes the doctor was an absolute POS who didn't give a flying F*** Still, have to put yourself in their shoes. They can be overworked if if you aren't in a life or death situation, when overworked and tired, they could behave in ways that maybe inexcusable... Would be the same for all Montreal Hospitals. But the Jewish Overall, is above average for Montreal Standard. The problem is on the government side and the doctor mafia behind it that aren't interested in super nurses or Pharmacists to have more power for prescriptions of lighter issues.
I would like to place an official complaint about being refused to be seen at the hospital's emergency today July 10th at 3:30pm. I came last Saturday for a major eye infection, was seen by doctor Thy Thuy Tran and given an antibiotic ointment for a duration of 7 days. I was told if I was not better within a few days to come back. I came back today because my eye still needs treatment and is not much better. I am certainly not in the state to go back to work, where I work all day long on 2 computer monitors typing long texts while speaking to customers live and doing real time research. The ointment slightly improved the condition but my vision is blurry when I use it, hence I cannot use my vision on which I rely 100% of the time for work and it needs to be apllied 4 times a day, thus roughly every 3h. There are no other tasks I can perform at my job. The time allotted for treatment off work was 1 day, as opposed to the necessary 7 days. Doctor Tran got very irritated when I asked to explain to me what she thinks I have, never gave me a clear answer and did not want to listen when I explained how this might affect my work performance. This was highly unprofessional and made me feel great discomfort in seeking treatment from her. Shockingly today I was refused to be seen by the emergency doctor at the hospital. I find this despicable and would seriously like to have a follow up on this matter because, by law he is not permitted to refuse a patient this way. I am greatly apalled and dissapointed by this experience. This complaint will be taken further
My first pleasant-hospital experience here in quebec. went to the dental clinic for an awful pain and an abces. they were super professional. and kind. wait was average and logic. Thank you everyone in dental .
One of the best emergency departments
Doctors, nurses and all other health care providers are very good, maintenance and security guards are extremely helpful! Thank you for making things a little bit easier even though I am not well it was a good experience!
I do not recommend going to the emergency at this hospital. You will literally die of pain or your condition and no one will bat an eye. Nobody cares about you and they treat you as a nuisance. Once admitted after hours of waiting, then it’s a race to get you out asap. The guy that installed my IV had my blood dripping everywhere and I felt like in a horror movie. Everybody is cold and nonchalant except a few of the nurse.

I had surgery here. It was okay. I mean, I slept through it so it wasn't that exciting or anything. The good news is, I woke up.
I kept waiting till 4 hours in emergency.. then doctor sebastian or so called came in, checked me n said nothings dangerous. Only bronchitis. Just keep taking cough syrup and advil. No antibiotics no scans nothing. If something happens to me I want everyone to know they are culprits
All the staff where so nice. The wait wasn’t to bad with all the people there i thought i would be there all night. Anyone who has severe anxiety like me, i definitely recommend this hospital they are very calm and all so nice. Unlike most hospitals where all the staff seems to get so tense. I understand its not an easy job but this hospital most definitely know how to take the pressure. 5 stars to all the staff that where working tonight.
(Translated) 4:30 p.m. in the emergency room ... But because I was not considered an emergency, more discomfort than a vital issue. People have come by much faster, for more serious things, so things are very well managed. The vast majority of the staff are friendly, the doctors are nice and take the time to answer questions even in an emergency department, which is greatly appreciated. I found the exams to be done well and conscientiously.
Good professionals. Kind . Confused personnel . Seemed to forget I was there. Did have a room in er. Too much work for too few. The future looks bleak.

Depending on the department you need you'll have a different experience. ER: staff was fantastic but wait times were very long. I had a broken bone and was in immense pain. Still took 10 hours in and out. Orthopedics: very rude reception and ridiculous wait times. If you have an appointment with a doctor for 11:00, you might not be seen until 15:00. They quadruple book appointments with the same doctor. I was in an exam room with 3 people at the same time. The Orthopod spent less than a minute with me. They didn't even forward the fact that I had a fracture to physio therapy and I had to wait weeks to be seen. Physio: I got lucky. Good physiotherapist, but took weeks to get an appointment for a broken elbow. Shouldn't take this long. The system is broken here. Probably the same at all hospitals in Montreal, but there's no excuse.
Fantastic hospital due to its marvellous staff. Very enthusiastic, fast and very amiable! Great hospital
Some staff so rude.
Worst triage nurses ever seen in my life. They clearly need more training on evaluating emergency. My wife couldn’t even seat for a second and they didn’t care at all and asked her to wait for the day service doctors.
Could not fault the service I got here in any way. Fast, caring, spotlessly clean. Went to the ER for an Xray was seen within 30 mins. Ended up having to stay two nights. Private room. Excellent level of care. Even the food was good. 10/10.
It was disappointing when I saw that they dont CARE when they see people suffer from pain in emergency room. I saw nurses joking and I had been waiting for 8 hours, finally the doctor told me "go and see your doctor! I cant do much!!!" I had a feeling after going to this place that, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR PAIN!!!
have been in ENT department i had an CT scan on 28 day of month and they gave me 19 of next month to see my doctor, told her to give a sooner a appointment as my shealth gotten wors since waiting to CT scan she said (CT scan result wont be available to doctor sooner!!!) .on scan day i wen to ENT told one of girls today i did scan when can u give me appointment to see DR? and she gave me 16 !! and canceled my 19 saying that just this day is available,i went out then remembered that i have another appointment on 16 so went back told her if there is no other day put me back on 19 then she checked again and gave me 9 !!!! i said the CT scan report will be available on 9? she said yes SURE ...FIRST...First Lady was thinking of me as an idiot saying CT Scan report wont be available..SECOND,second Lady if u have 9 why at first place didn't gave me that !!!!!!!!!! to whom u reserve dates?

My husband was misdiagnosed for 20 years and in 5 mins the emergency room here knew what it was and got him started on care. Every department I have been to has been knowledgable and helpful. A bit confusing getting around, but there is always someone willing to help you find your way.
So many staff and no treatment Security guards just chatting, receptionists texting and laughing. The receptionist’s phone rang and it was not even on silent mode Waited 5hours with lots of pain. Why would people be penalized for inefficiency? Many of the staff need to be fired and are just dead weigh. Need more doctors.

Awful experience! I came here in July of 2015 to get a mentally ill family member(that happens to have an extensive file at the Jewish)evaluated and admitted into psychiatry but they refused to see that this is a very sick patient. Regardless of the chaotic fit this patient threw late at night and the very clearly visible paranoyed and hallucinating behavior they had, the ER psychiatrice said that the patient manages themselves very well and discharged them the following day. They later call me in the afternoon because the patient refuses to leave and is throwing a fit and disrupting the rest of the ER and even have security escort them out of the premises. How did they let an unbalanced mentally ill person leave if clearly they aren't ok. Now this family member is getting evicted because they have not been able to keep a job and pry their rent. I cannot even help this person get a lawyer and prepare for a court date because this paranoid patient thinks the lawyer isn't a real lawyer.... If the ER Psychiatrice, I forgot her name(she's petite close to retirement age and had shoulder length white hair dressed colourfully and quite bubbly) had taken this case seriously, we wouldn't have to deal with almost a year of unpaid rent, a court date, a possible eviction and a super paranoid and aggressive person that can no longer function in society. Just a few months of rehabilitation to get this family member back on their medication would have made the world a difference. How is it normal to let an unstable person ruin her life because you feel it's ok? It's fine. They do not know how to diagnose.
I waited almost 13 hours at the emergency and they seemed careless of patients, what a awful hospital honestly I don’t recommend to anyone who has pain and wanna see a doctor to go there seriously !
Trying to get anyone to anyone on the phone is basically impossible. Most of their blood requisitions don't have a quebec doctor permit so all centers outside of theirs will refuse to process them. Their service is worst than third tier countries' healthcare.
Hematology is the worst I've ever seen, incompetent physician. His usual answer "I don't know." or "It happens."
There is absolutely no organization or communication at this trash heap. Nurses didn't know who my doctor of the moment was, I was wrongly transfered back and forth, duplicate tests were ordered by different departments; no one seemed to know what to do with me. Incompetence and apathy abound. Come for the beaucracy, stay cause no one knows who can authorize you to leave.
I've been trying for more than a week to get an appointment over the phone but no one absolutely no one picks up the phone ever!!. Shitiest service ever!!!.. absolutely appalling.
Quick service, only thing I didn't like was the judging of meds I'm on. Got a colonoscopy and I disclosed the m3ds I'm on and I was screaming and made them take it out. Then on my result paper it said "patient couldnt tolerate pain" like no sh*t if they woulda listened they would have known
(Translated) Good evening, I want to talk about what happened on Friday September 10, 2021 around 12:00 / 12:30. I accompanied my husband to the emergency room for severe knee pain, he could not walk and put his leg. The doctor only examined him and gave him the diagnosis (injured ligament) without having done an ultrasound, MRI or x-ray. Today the family doctor was contacted and ordered an ultrasound. Even the Jewish Hospital no longer considers it a good hospital in Montreal.
May daughter had an appointment with the respiratory specialist done months ago and was instructed to do the covid19 test days before her appointment. She did exactly as told, and tested negative. On the day of the appointment, she waited and waited for 4 hours. She got up to ask and was rudely told, "sit back down, and we'll call you when it's time." Needless to say she was never called, and was told to make another appointment. Therefore she had to re-do the process all over again with covid19 test before her appointment. The service has declined drastically through the years similar to St-Luc hospital. By far the best hospital is CHUM, efficient appointment process and amazing personnel.
We spend 5 hours to see a doctor for 30 second.Dr did not listen and care, just laughed,we do not know if she come back to give more information or not, did not introduce herself . No education given, totally put us in dark situation. There was a Chinese man , he was very respectful and care about patient. It was my first time at Jewish hospital and had a awful experience.
Even zero start for Jewish Hospital is too much. Most of the personal are very rude and aggressive. Doctors are not good, services are slow . Doing everything in this hospital is a pain for patients. Last visit -AUG 2021: See Dr. Mark Trifiro was just wasting time. His receptionist is the worth receptionist that you can find in this city. All in this department (Endocrinology) is disorganized. Not recommended at all. Any body goes to this hospital , comes back with bad memories.
Ophthalmology. Appointment was at 2:20. It's past 6:00 and still waiting. Apparently it's always like this for cataract treatment. Thought you should be warned...
Nice service and caring professional staff.
disappointing for my first canadian hospital experience. treated me and my husband like nonprofessionals. the nurse took off my IV like savage. the first time ever in my life did a nurse do that to pull my IV like pulling weeds. the phleb was mean. I now hospital basic protocols because i am a lab scientist myself. i suggest you guys be more kind and considerate . we understand you may be tired and you are just doing your job maybe just for the sake of job but please treat your patients like you want to be treated when you are sick. we came there to feel comfort and treatment , not have a traumatic and disappointing experience.
Worst....waiting time is very long
Great hospital. Took great care of me!
Appointment went well. Not a long wait for MRI.
Proud employee of 20 years. Because healing is good, and feeling good is better!
Excellent patient care. People that review 1 star because of the wait in the emergency room, probably never visited any other hospital.
Nice
I received the best care. They saved my life. I call them my "dream team" - Dr. Langleben, Dr. Hirsch, and Dr. Morin, but they are very modest and tell me they are just happy they could help me. I will never be able to thank them enough. We are lucky to have such high-qualified healthcare and services here.
Generally this is a great Hospital however I have had one very unpleasant experience when was misdiagnosed because the dr. Was too lazy to follow procedure

I really don’t recommend Jewish hospital cuz last night I was there few hours usually I don’t go hospital you wait couple hours results 0 this time was really badly too i took antibiotics was very strongly I went there cuz I want serum they said you good just just virus We do try donation with my wife’s if comes this time Forget if they have zero I will gave -0
(Translated) I went to this hospital for cough and fever problems. Poor home. Amazing waiting time even though there are not many patients. I had 40 degrees of fever and when I asked for a tablet to relieve me he told me no. He let me go home staggering in the street. Not classy for a hospital. I think there is much better hospital in Montreal.

Worst hospital. Rude staff and poor approach to medicine. My dead sister is the proof of that. My mom is in the emergency and they don't even diagnose her. They just want to give her pills and hope she leaves. I see them push people to leave. They have a policy that rude patients will be thrown out and as a result their staff is rude to abuse that power.

The queue was long, we spent 10 hours there but the nurses + docs were competent and supportive. 11/10 will be sick again
The specialists over all know what they are doing and are competent. My problem is the rest of the staff. Most secretaries do not do their job. No matter what department I call, I never get any answer, even when I keep calling. I've been waiting to see a specialist for 5 months. Took 2 months to have an appointment, then they called me a few days before to push it back a month later. I got into an accident during that time, had surgery, and couldn't travel all the way there (I don't live in MTL). I called a week before to cancel and ask them to call back cause obviously no one answered. 2 months later, after trying to reach them several times, I'm told that since I didn't show up to my last appointment, I have to restart the process all over again, drop off my referral, and wait. It's already been 5 months and before that, I had to wait to see a GI who then referred me to the other specialist since he believed my problem had nothing to do with my digestive system. I am really not impressed by the lack of communication, how rude some secretaries are, and how they put the responsibility on you when they fail to do their job.
Worst hospital I ever been in my whole life, and dude, I come from Brazil and I've been in some bad hospitals there. Got here at 18:30 and the doctor called me at 23:30 for first examination.... Super grumpy staff not willing to help at all.

Good
Top experience with the dental service... Came for an emergency that required root canal work 2 days after landing in Canada. The team was wonderful from beginning to end : took me in quickly, walked me through the whole process, made sure I was comfortable, performed professional work, followed-up to make sure I was healing properly... Feeling thankful and relieved for such service.

One very bad experience with a nurse, who'd been always very cold and rude with me for years. Insulted my ex-girlfriend at one time , publicly because she was asking questions about my health and was worried about the service and treatments I was receiving. Came to a boiling point as another patient and myself we're mistreated by her. She became extremely rude and ill-tempered. Now, every time I'm there, and we see each other, we don't say a single word to one another and completely avoid each other. Shame such an event occurred, all my other doctors are great and professional.
Literally 4 hours and more, right now i am waiting here and there is no sign of a doctor!!!!
Stop complaining, you live in Canada where it is practically free. In USA you would be broke after a hospital stay!
The worst hospital ever! The dermatology department never picks up the phone or calls back when you leave a message. They close it down for a full hour for lunch without informing patients about their opening hours.. I lost a full days pay because of them.. Useless..
Great professionals and great medical care/ follow up. Thank you!
HORRIBLE STAFF AND HOSPITAL!! Go to st Mary’s instead they are much nicer there!
Just a bad day at the emergency waited 3 hours saw the doctor 5 minutes told me I had to wait another 3 hours for a scan. I did not eat since 9 in the morning. Ileft and when home. I will go to the private sector. Tuesday Sept. 2nd from 11,30 to 13.30 they only call about 3 persons. The emergncy was full.
Useless incompetent morons
Best
Amazing, fast service. Literally was seeing a doctor within an hour and was in an MRI scanner two hours later. I came in with a numb saddle area and severe sciatica so my symptoms were severe but even then, I was never treated as well and fast as I was in that hospital. I was then given an appointment with a neurologist the day after. After experiencing the slowness of the Quebec health system, this was a big surprise to me. The staff and doctors were friendly and helpful.
Six hour (8 pm - 2 am) just to see a doctor.
Excellent Hospital, best staff and service! My son born there “Ballwez” I appreciate your help....????
This is a good hospital
(Translated) Very disappointing reception service. Their telephone service just as much ... (Original) Service à l’accueil très décevant. Leur service téléphonique tout autant ...
They will let you die in waiting and after you wont get the treatment they'll send you to the pharmacy with no prescription at all to guess what you gonna need to feel better. Worst place ever to be treated in. And besides all this madness they'll send you a huge bills that its not connected to anything. Its impossible to make them move it away.
(Translated) I had two surgeries in the hospital nothing to say the medical team is really competent, the nurses are young the service is also impressive (Original) J'ai fait deux chirurgie a l 'hopital rien a dire le team medical est vraiment compétent , les infermieres sont jeunes le service aussi est impressionnant
Waited over 10 hours in ER, when we asked staff if we were close to seeing a doctor, they were rude and impatient. They told us if we wanted to leave, we should. They didn't care. We left and called an ambulance as my daughter's health was worst.
Great hospital.
The receptionist in the resident dental department was extremely rude and hung up on me while I was in mid-sentence! If they are that miserable with their job maybe they should find another job!!!!
I like
Very good staff. Kind and helpful. Makes you feel comfortable.
I like to thank Dr. Stern Errol that works in the emergency room. My poor mother broke her hand last week and I was so worried and nervous about the situation. When I met Dr. Errol, he put me and my mother at ease and everything went well with this unfortunate situation. Thank you again Dr. Errol and we truly appreciate your hard work and the passion you have for you patients. And just as promised, when my mother's hand heals we will bring you and your staff some home made Greek cookies :)
Can't ENTER hospital without vaccine passeport. Let alone get any help or information. Scary times.
The best care at good prices
Excellent cardiac surgery dept.
Thanks for taking great care of my Grandad! The nurses were friendly, helpful and made my grandfather feel at home. They also took great care of my step father when he had quadruple bypass surgery. It was as close to being at home while being at a hospital. Appreciate you returning them both in one piece. Vending machines are loaded with goodies if you get hungry. Little trick to remember is to bring change because some of the vending machines don’t accept bills????. No Diet Coke either, so I hope you like Pepsi. But like I always say, if it’s good enough for Brittany Spears it’s good enough for me. #blessingstothenurses.
very bad service
This hospital discharged an elderly woman early morning today without acknowledging her family. Despite the fact that they we’re explained that the woman was no longer independent and needed assistance at all time. They didn’t allowed her daughter to stay with her. Just to receive a call from the police who we thank for finding her safe and sound. This types of unprofessional behaviour should NOT be tolerated and worthy of a law suit. It’s unacceptable.
Bon service
phone system is no good. All I got were fax numbers. When I got an actual person number I was put on hold and after 10 minutes was told not available for the call. To get in touch with someone (except main reception) is impossible.
I came through the ER at 2am in extreme pain. It's currently 10am and I still haven't seen a doctor or got something to help with the pain. I tried to get ahold of the nurse a few times asking about the pain, but she was never at her desk or stayed a good 30 sec. I tried to get help from the information booth lady, but she didn't care at all and told me to wait for her. Then they put me in a room by myself for two hours and no one came to check up on me once, I literally could've been dead and the staff wouldn't know. I always knew Quebec's healthy system was trash, but today is a whole new level.
Waiting time at Emergency is about 6 hours. Worst experience.
worst receptionists, hang up on you
Nice staff ! They treat you well sometimes it takes more than one time but they always found what my health problem was ;) I was on 8th floor . Urgency it’s another story it took to much time to receive someone to help me with the pain ...
Kind staff, very helpful & try to make you smile and feel cared for.
(Translated) I thought I would wait longer and I'm glad I had my minor surgery. (Original) Je pensais attendre plus longtemps et je suis content d'avoir eu ma chirurgie mineure.

(Translated) You have to wait a long time before going to the doctor! (Original) Il faut attendre beaucoup avant de passer au médecin!
Worst hospital in the world. Staff have a bad attitude , lack of doctors all the time ! I felt that I am dying when I went the other day -for a terrible stomach ache, and no one there seemed to care.
I don't think I've ever written a negative review before but I think this is important for people to know. Anyone looking to be seen in a timely/professional/human/compassionaté manner, save yourself the time and the trouble.go elsewhere.... really do that for yourself.. again think twice... best
Dr. Luis-Richard Monton entered suddenly in our hospital room and unleashed his frustrations and anger on my wife during labor by insulting and threatening her. He made his own assumptions about us without asking any questions or leaving any room for response. It was totally unnecessary, unethical and unprofessional for him to unleash his ego on us at such an important stage in our labor. I'm so glad my wife and I have been able to get out of that situation and that we were finally taken into someone else's care. Dr. Luis-Richard Monton failed us.
Cut the tip pretty fast and pretty nice 10/10 would go under the knife again
(Translated) In their emergency service you have time to die 2 times. I came for a gynecological emergency, an interminable wait, a cold welcome. Visited the emergency department, after a 30 min wait, the nurse asked questions to triage us. They took blood and urine samples to start, then one of the longest wait of my life started. Finally a doctor met us for a max 3 minutes examination and asked us to wait again for analysis results. When done the doc asked us to come again the second day for imaging. She told us we were priority and that we wont have to wait. We waited and waited and waited. Guys if you are not dying don't expext to wait less than 6 hours for a standard illness. You are a number for these doctors, they won't give you the time of day to discuss your condition, they give you medicine. The second doctor gave us like 50 seconds as if you didn't wait for hours. Update: This hospital is bad bad bad. We paid a visit, they again took blood and urine and we heard our name 6.5 hours later. That is without the wait in the examination room or follow up. I recommend you go somewhere else. It is like they dont have doctors/staff working on patients files. Note: And we had private insurance.

Best hospital probably in the whole of Montreal aside the Children hospital in Vendome. The main car park is currently undergoing construction.
Horrible
Loved it!

(Translated) For a hospital, I was surprised at the speed of execution. I went back to the emergency room around 8:30 am, I expected to leave around 7:00 pm when I saw that there were about 20 people before me. In 20 minutes I saw a first nurse, then I waited about no more than 45 minutes or 1 hour and I saw the doctor who gave me X-ray. After another 20 minutes I got the results and went home. Really fast.
Rude, condescending staff at the ER. Felt as if as I was bothering them simply by being there and asking a question on MY condition. Don't know about the other wards but if you're able to go to another hospital's ER then by all means do so.
wait time is very long
Great hospital! A huge asset in the cote DE neiges district. Contribute to its development! True to its name the JGH as it is known is a institution in the province! It is important to note that it's early start was due to the fact that Jews had a hard time to get into medicine. With that in mind today year 2019 the hospital serves all the local and ethnic communities. My brief remark will be some more proper training of the huge staff. Some workers are not aware that their attitude reflects on the overall and totality of staff and patients. There is room for improvement. Overall given the task and the size of the hospital the grade is much above *passing ! Addeelayedndum I had a lazy or delayed rendezvous at the hearing clinic. Somehow it is impossible to reach a human being to fix an appointment! Why so! The demand is urgent since it goes with age and renewal hearing apparatus. It is a complaint. Hope to hear rsvp soon!
Excellent care. Very organized and relatively fast.
If I could put a "20 Star" rating I would. I had brachytherapy on Monday and actually ENJOYED IT. Dr. Niazi and the anesthetist and the nurses and all those involved were INCREDIBLE. I smiled through almost all of the procedure AND THEN I HAD A CALL THIS MORNING FROM SERENA - ONE OF THE NURSES TO ASK ME HOW I WAS! This blew what mind I have left. I have spent a fair amount of time in hospitals - starting when I had polio 65 years ago but this brought tears to my eyes. I had been told - when I learned I had cancer - to go to the Jewish. All I can say is that the treatment (in every sense of the word - from all the staff and even one of the volunteers) was beyond incredible. All I can say is - from the bottom of my heart - THANK YOU!
????

Nothing but excellent care at the emergency department. Thanks to the attentive staff who need to deal with stress all day and still keep their cool.
(Translated) Excellent medical team. I will always be grateful. (Original) Excellente équipe médicale. Je serai toujours reconnaissante.
Extremely Bad Services, 1. You'll get an appointment after 2 months. And then you are sitting and just waiting. They do not have any mean of the appointments. 2. Staff is too bad, specially reception staff. They do not have manner how to talk with the patients. They are giving lame words when something is requested. They treat patients like their slaves. 3. One should spare a full day to meet the doctor for few seconds. They do not value your time.
Literally encountered the sweetest doctors and nurses here. I must Thank You - to whomever I got to meet. You all helped my dark day turn into a sunny one! -Donna
Amazing hospital ????
(Translated) Worse experience with an emergency physician Dr. Stern !! Il ne m'a même pas examinée me disant d'aller voir un psy alors qu'un autre médecin a trouvé par la suite les causes de mes problèmes respiratoires!!! (Translated) It's been more than 15 years since I was followed at this hospital and I must say that never, I never had to say again against the staff and / or doctors etc ... It is certain that nothing is perfect but these are just small peccadilloes, nothing very important because this hospital deserves a big 5 stars! Congratulations to this hospital and to all its workers who are doing a great job! Thank you for being here !!! A small downside though: I'm followed in O.R.L. and I must say that the reception of O.R.L. is frightfully mediocre to say the least; it's at least 10 times that I phone for a r-vs and what madam answers me after more than 5 m waiting on the phone: "Remember tomorrow because we are overwhelmed ????? Amazing no? It takes 2 seconds to give a r-vs, why not give it to me ??? And it's always the same lady who is hateful, all the other receptionists are quite charming and very very polite, which is not the case of the lady in question ... I find it really a shame because it does not give a good image of the O.R.L clinic. ; my doctor is quite extraordinary and all the staff except this lady who breaks the image of the clinic!?!?! Finally, I do not intend to stop there, I will go see the "D.S.P." next week!

Obviously, emergency wait times are long, but that's the case for any hospital in the country, especially in cities. Faulting a hospital for that is a bit silly considering the alternative (paying $$$ out of pocket). My wait was about 5 hours, but the experience was made pleasant by the amazing nurses and the doctors I saw. Hospitals stress me out immensely, but their kindness made it a lot easier for me. My follow-up appointment was booked fast, they called me within 24 hours. Returning to an equally amazing experience that I had in emerg really cemented this hospital as the best in Montreal for me.
(Translated) In the old premises it is not acceptable. No hot water in the showers or sinks so where is the sanitary point of view, it is not enough to put sani in the hands. The blankets we had were stained. When we weigh on the red button they respond quickly but do not make the message to the nurse stationed. The only positive but still important nurses are very competent and kind.
Kudos to all the staff that really try hard to make you feel as humiliated as they possibly can, when you more need their help. The staff there makes this hospital feel like the worst hospital in the poorest 3rd world country. They treat you like rubbish and really make you feel like you're getting on their way. Try to avoid it at all cost!

For me this is the best hospital in Montreal Some peoples will say it isn’t true But these are the ones that runs at the hopital because they sneeze And then complain cause it’s going to slow Weak minded BS
The Secretary in the emergency room was so rude and disrespectful to a patient and to me as well.people like that should not work with patients.
Speaking for the emergency department, they're utterly confused and confusing, with the notable exception of the triage area. The delay is par for the course in Quebec, but the actual supposed treatment is sufficient to make you lose all hope for north american society if this is the state of lauded Canadian health care. To suffer treatment is to navigate across a recently bombed Playmobil factory while injured and without further damaging anything to get to a room where a series of increasingly Kafkaesque announcements of minimal and decreasing relevance to the situation are made. The impression was given that the treatment was decided regardless of the patient condition, and that the diagnosis would be made to fit, with all that inconvenient contradictory information obviously being completely unrelated. If their triage people could write prescriptions they'd save a lot of time, money, and people may actually get better, which is obviously counter to the entire exercise.
(Translated) Dozens of hours waiting in the emergency room and out without seeing a doctor. It's like that at the Jewish General Hospital. The incompetence starts from the sorting. Recently had to seek emergency treatment at the hospital. The care I received was great - fast, efficient, professional and friendly. The hospital is very clean and comfortable. It also appears very well equipped. Good bilingual service. Highly recommended.
A bit long wait time, bt it is fine until you have efficient doctor to see.
The nurses and doctors are super helpful.
beside the hospital was almost empty, they seem to deprioritize some cases, what is urgent for you may not be urgent for them! got a note to call a specialist there but sadly kept ignored due to others urgent (as they said) cases.
Harrible service they let you wait even in difficult situations
My experience was like sh** sorry for the word but they make you hate yourself for going there you have to wait at least 5 hours to see a doctor for 2 minutes !! I went there with fever and i was so sick and they didn't give me meds .
8 hours wait in Emergency room and no service. Poor experience...
Great
Patient room photographs are from the Herzl Clinic, which is within the Jewish General Hospital. The JGH is huge! I visited on a Saturday morning. Covid19 compliance was in …
I've been at the emergency for a problem with my knee (couldn't walk). Very dismissive doctor, 10 seconds visit, no prescription, no tests, said it would be solved in a couple days. Which of course didn't happen, so I had to go to another hospital, where I got a really accurate visit, blood tests, xray, etc and a real diagnosis and a cure. Very disappointing experience.
Staff makes you feel extremely comfortable , even the rude-ish ones are so efficient that you don’t mind the lack of empathy. 100% the best service in hospital. I always come back home with a smile (as weird as it is to come back happy from a hospital service it is truly the case !) ER doctor are polite and funny I absolutely do recommend this hospital to anyone that wants to feel safe, heard and seen.
You can not feel happy when you go to a hospital, but the most important thing is getting your health back. Professional service and stuff, appreciated for what had been done to make me healthy again.

Went there for the first time today. The personnel was AMAZING. In the chaos of the COVID pandemic, they manage to keep things under control, and judging by the number of adult babies and immature jerks that they had to deal with every hour, I can only imagine how hard it must be to do there job day after day. Bravo for your courage and determination.
This is the best hospital in Montreal that I've been to, but the purpose of my review is to thank a young woman who transported me when I had to be driven across the hospital in a wheelchair yesterday. I wish I remembered her name - but she had a very big stack of braids on the top of her head and perhaps that is enough to identify her if anyone from leadership reads this. She had a warmth, kindness, and graciousness that radiated around her. She explained to me the importance of being 'a transport' and how she helps her patients, especially those with dementia, feel respected and comfortable as they travel through the halls. She was also proud to work in this hospital. I was so impressed by the professionalism, dedication, and resiliance of this young woman, let alone her kindness. She is one of our health care heroes!
Avoid at all cost

An excellent hospital. The hospital provided two hours free parking, and the preventive measures are excellent throughout the buildings. Over the years, this hospital have left a lot of memories through the thin and thick of life. Despite the outcomes, for better and worse, a heartfelt thanks to all personnel who never give up doing all the hard work, especially in this pandemic time. Thank you one more time.

Staff is usually very nice but it is always busy so it may seem as if they are always in a rush
I am so sorry if you have to get into gastro enteralogy here. Gastro review here. Doctors incompetent, always rushing you, always making you feel like a number. I could get better information about my ailment from the internet than from my doctor, and this is bad. Despite appointment, medics will show up an hour late... If your blood tests come out healthy just once, they will never test your blood for three years. Yes, three years! Patient processing arbitrary, you may come in before somebody else and still be picked up way after. Somebody may be waiting before you and you will be picked before them... In my five years as a patient, this keeps happening without explanation. I find it so unfair, especially for the first person who showed up! Can anybody from the Jewish please explain what kind of unorderly order you employ, and how are you fair to your patients? Three employees are paid just to answer a phone and listen to voicemail, yet when you call, not a single human voice answers. I had problems for a whole month and called every day of the week during business hours but nobody answered. Two other weeks there was no answering machine. What do people do when they need a doctor? Why are there three permanent phone employees? People pay big money for health care from their taxes, it isn't free. Why do we even pay taxes if the system doesn't work? How is this any fair? It feels so eerie to be in this broken machine of a hospital. Reminds me of my youth in the gulag.
Went to the Jewish ER last week, literally took a number and was seen immediately by the nurse. Was whisked in the back and was already hooked up to my catheter in less than 15 mins, staff are extremely kind and compassionate and the doctors give exceptional care. From the time I walked in to seeing the doctor was less than an hour total, left the hospital feeling a piece of mind and relaxed. I highly recommend this hospital over others
I will give one star but this doesn't really matter because you need services and you do not have much choice. Went to Wak-in clinic. Waited like sheeps for 3 hours and still no information about the time somebody will be able to see us. A guy was sitting in a room for 1.30 hours and no doctor was there to check him. I would say this is a disaster. Furthermore, if you want to ask something at the reception, you are considered rude. If I will have the choise, I will avoid this clinic the next time.
(Translated) Very effective (Original) Très efficace
Wonderful and very professional staff. Waiting times were as long as expected in any hospital, but the doctor I got was an a**. He laughed that I looked up my symptoms online before coming to the hospital. What else are people supposed to do? Flood the waiting rooms for every potential medical concern they have instead and wait for hours each time? And this was for something very painful he gave me a specific prescription for, it's not like I wasted both our time with a useless visit. Many of the latter are avoided with online searches, I have no doubt. When I told him about an unrelated medical concern I'd had for some time but always delayed coming to the hospital for, he told me "You know no such disease exists, right?" Man how am I supposed to know? I'm not a doctor, you are. The weird yet painless sensation of my head feeling like it's caving inward sometimes keeps haunting me. It's worrisome enough to seek a professional's diagnosis and I never said it's a disease, I just want to know what's wrong. Ultimately told me it's possibly migraines, then ironically recommended to look up ways to avoid those. Great, start with that next time. If I knew it was benign or if I didn't value your opinion as a doctor, I wouldn't be asking.
Don’t go to ER if you don’t have to.no compassion here that’s for sure. NEXT. Go see your family doctor. Gets your tests done privately. Do yourself a favour. The only way. No wait times. No pushing you to back burner while they socialize from being over worked and yes overpaid. Private labs exist. Call your insurance company see what you are covered for and use it.
Horrible experience. :'( :S Long hours waiting and with even no proper diagnosis reading. I was expecting there should at least be an advice or prescription on how to get better. Not just to tell me that nothing is dangerous and to see a family doctor if anything comes up. The doctor was in a hurry as if you didn't waited for hours. I was still looking into the results but didn't even give me a minute or two to ask few more questions. So horrriiibblleee. :S Their processing was not even in order. No proper coordination. I was paged several times for nothing. They should improve their flow for this kind of setup.
(Translated) This hospital does not deserve a star. Nurses are not professional and draconian. The emergency doctors are not even able to diagnose your disease after waiting at least 4 hours; they dedicate 2 minutes to 5 minutes to you. They give you tests and in the end no diagnosis. And you come home after 6 hours or more without medication and your illness has worsened. (Original) Cet hopital ne merrite pas d etoile. Les infermieres ne sont pas profesionelles et draconiennes. Depends on who you see and the day. Some staff have abysmal attitudes but the expertise is second to none.

Thanks for nursing me back to health everyone on the staff from the nurse team to the dilatation to the doctor to the mental evaluation team honestly thank you god bless.
Very professional staff.
THEY SAVED MY DAD ! THANK YOU ! My dad fell unconscious and was rushed by ambulance to Hospital Anna Laberge in Chateauguay. He broke 5 ribs due to the fall. My dad was in HUGE pain and was not able to breath properly! They diagnosed him with pneumonia, water in his lungs and some kind of virus in his lungs and you know what they did ? SENT HIM BACK HOME WITH FREAKIN DIABETES PILLS, WTH?? They did not even prescribe him pain killer or anything to ease the pain. The next day we brought him to the Jewish General Hospital and wow, amazing service 5/5. They ran all the test possible and determined there was no water in his lungs, no virus, no pneumonia, but did mention his lungs were not functioning to full capacity due to his smoking. A respiratory therapist did her magic on him and my dad was almost back to normal and they prescribed him the right pills to soothe his rib injury. All this in under one day. Im shocked and pissed because we could have lost him if we did not go to the Jewish General Hospital.

You will be treated by dentists doing their internship supervised by their teachers. No fillings . Low cost. Too long between appointments .
Simply the best hospital in Montreal !!!!!The best doctors and nursing staff. I had surgery and feeling great noe.
My daughter was admitted here few months ago. We had a great experience with staffs. The wait time to see a doctor was long but like all the other hospitals in town. We learned to adapt ourselves to the health system here.
Horrible staff, inexperienced doctors, useless!!!!!! Even though this is partially the government of Quebec's fault, this hospital provides the worst services I have ever seen. Overcrowded ER, several misdiagnoses, refusing to serve me because I don't live in their "sector". They should be sued!!! I was in pain and couldn't get an appointment because of their long waiting list and a receptionist who refused to schedule and appointment.

1. Emergency check-in nurse ruptured my vein 2. Resident doctor gave me the wrong description of my surgery 3. Waited 3 days for emergency surgery with no updates -> was given only a limited amount of a saline drip, leaving me highly dehydrated and hungry going into surgery 4. Post-op nurses refused to let my friends and family to see me after surgery, "accidentally" gave away my recovery room, and literally yelled at me to get out of the hospital, before the doctor discharged me 5. Had to stay overnight, as prescribed by the doctor, and was not given any painkillers 6. Nurses pretended to not understand English. They questioned my ability to understand them even though I'm fully English Canadian. They were very openly nicer to the caucasian patients and treated me like a second class citizen. 7. Next day, head nurse (young blond lady) screamed at me to get out, even though my blood pressure was 50/30. She went around and pulled doctors who were checking in on other patients and yelled at them to get me out - none of them followed her instructions, but none of them told her to stop her atrocious behaviour. She said she would throw me out and I was taking up space (most of the beds were still empty, and this was before the post-op was open to visitors, so I couldn't have left even if I wanted to as I was unable to move). She stayed and screamed at me until I left. I later found out I had a bad reaction to the painkillers, which she had given me in the morning. 8. Nurse assistant who wheeled me out lost control of my wheelchair on the ramp and I almost fell out of the chair - I started crying from the pain, and he wheeled me to a side door where no one could see me and left in tears All in all... please avoid for your own sake.

Nice place . Nice staff . No complaint
Amazing experience every time I go there.. Special mention to Dr. Chiara Palumbo who was so compassionate, caring and great throughout the entire exam. The best hospital with the best staff!

I have been to their ER twice. Once I was sent to Herzl clinic after preliminary exam, another time I waited in the ER to be seen by a doctor. I waited about 5 hours and when the doctor arrived everything moved swiftly. Doctor was super nice, attentive and caring. All the nurses were very nice although I noticed 1/2 that seem to have chosen the wrong profession. Both of the times I had great doctors and I'm very satisfied with the service I received. Average wait time in Canada is around 7 hours and people who arrive in emergency are treated based on the severity of their condition. So it was only fair that patients who arrived in an ambulance or were very sick were treated before me. Thanks for your service Jewish General!
Good
Very good hospital

(Translated) Worst post-operative service I have seen. The staff did not seem to want to answer our questions during the discharge, unable to get a follow-up for months despite an abdominal drain in place, the administrative agents on the phone give themselves medical advice (wrong by the way) or tell us that they will remind us without ever doing so. We had to "fight" with the hospital for weeks after the surgery to get minimal services. Lucky that I work in the health field and that I was able to notice it when literally someone told me anything on the other end of the phone.
Absolutely terrible. The Covid-19 testing is very efficient but that’s all. The staff at this hospital are lazy, inefficient and rude. Quebec has the worse health care system in this country. I would not want to get old here and look forward to moving away.

Had a bad experience but I'll spare you the details. Ultra-long waits as is the norm in Quebec hospitals. The employees were nice though.
Er very busy
We are glad to have this hospital so close to home... great staff and services
Awful urgent department, no discipline, worst service, no responsibility. 1 star is too much for them.
Not going back to the emergency again! We waited from 10am til 6pm for blood results which at the end of it gave my gf anti inflammatories for her stomach meanwhile my gf has a failing liver that's been diagnosed and they told us everything with her liver was fine and sent us on our way like nothing! These doctors have students which you dont even get to talk to the dr themselves. Worse experience. I wonder if you need to be dead to walk in there and get some proper medical help
Worest hospital ever..... waited 9 hours for a doctor ...
I had one Surgery at this hospital good Doctors and nurses ,doing my blood test every month at this place they're professional and quick !
The nurse, X-ray technician, cast technician and doctor were all very professional! I especially appreciated the Dr’s assistance.
The administrative staff is disgusting. Sitting in the waiting room for a loved one to come out of surgery watching the two secretaries chat and flirt with orderlies and not signing people in or doing their jobs. Waited 10 hours for news on loved on , had to actually flag down a doctor to give us assistance. We've had the same luck through the whole hospital with any department. It is a shame because I think the hospital itself is a good one and the doctors are wonderful but I cannot believe the level of incompetence there is for the administration staff. If you are reading this I urge you continue to voice your concerns. I have been compiling a list of complaints for months since my ordeal and have found over 1000 people with issues and I plan to make a large formal complaint.
My father was treated as an animal. Shame on the corrupt government for allowing these institutions exist.

The worst hospital in the whole world, I'm there already in the emergency department had to wait for 6 hours before a doctor comes and see me, did a blood test and an x ray and have been wating now for another 2 hours and still no one came to see me, and when i went to one of the nurses to ask her when will the doctor see me she answered me in a very rude way cuz she was busy texting on her phone and i interrupted her of course, would never recommend it to anyone if you really can avoid going there dont go, i hope they can learn anything from CHUM hospital doctors and nurses
Can’t go in without green pass
I hated my experience there and will NEVER go back!!! I'm 41 and had gotten pregnant, I went to the hertzl clinic at the jewish general hospital and saw a resident doctor there. They treated me as if I was a 20 year old and pregnant!! I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE CONSIDERED HIGH RISK AND NOW MY BABY IS DEAD!! They never put me on medication for my situation, they never educated me on being older, pregnant and being a high risk pregnancy. . Nothing!! When the situation became really bad at 23 weeks all they said was to terminate the pregnancy. No explanation, no indication as to why. I was suppose to be on medication, monitored closely because of the situation and because of their lack of knowledge and caring. My baby died in my womb!! The Jewish general hospital and the staff are horrible people!! If it wasn't for the doctors at the Glen/Royal Victoria hospital I would have never known the real situation. If you're older and pregnant the staff and doctors are great at the Glen and will take care of you.
Nice hospital blending new and old. The nurses are nice and attentive.
Before I write this review I would like to ask WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM in Montreal? Or with doctors? Is it a mentality to not care about other people? I have never in my life seen and experienced anything worse than healthcare services here in Montreal, nowhere. I am sure many deaths could be avoided if treated properly. Well, I was admitted to that hospital having palpitations and completely unable to sleep for 3 consecutive nights. And it was quite torturous as each time I would try to sleep I would get up with laryngospasm. Its when you cant BREATH, not breath in not breath out, and when I would finally get air, I would have crazy palpitations. I had a high hope for getting help at that hospital. Stayed there one night waiting for help, I was super sleepy but even at hospital sitting I would come back to sleep for a second and get up unable to breath at all. I was crying inside and hoping for help. I saw a young smiling doctor and asked her with tears in my eyes to help me as I didn’t know what to do. And obviously I couldn’t handle it longer, specially having a breastfed baby at home. So that smiling doctor told me that everything was fine and that I should come back home:(( I still tried to ask, but it was just useless. With the same smile I was left alone with my problem….I had to search for help in another country and thanks God I got it. But today I got an online access to my analysis which I did at that hospital that day in emergency and found out that my TSH was 12! When the normal level is maximum 4.5. Is it considered as a normal result for those doctors? No one even told me about that! I have known about it 1 year later, today, on my own. I am disgusted with their services. I lost there my time needing an emergency assistance. I highly recommend to other people to register on carnetsante...website and check their blood results there. As doctors here don't care much about you.
Rude and impatient secretary, went to another clinic .

Dr. Shamy let us down. She gave up on my uncle without trying hard, I’ll forever have to live with knowing that we went to the wrong hospital and this cost my uncle his life.
Take for jerush
Worst experience ever, the emergency staff is so incompetent, I ended up going back home after 6 hours waiting.
Patients food is always cold! Patients are treated rudely by staff! Terrible hospital! Would not recommend!!!
Most active staff I have seen in Canada, they really take care of they concern and work which shows I would highly recommend this hospital in case of emergency, they ER AS ER not like "LaSalle" hospital to leave you on broken chairs to die...
Great service urgently qent to the hospital with abdominal pain amd saw doctor after 30 mins that gave me something for the pain. Stayed 10 hours but it still wa great and professional service
No hospital is perfect but this one is so much better than most.

Great staff in Gastroenterology
Terrible office staff. You can leave a message to most departments and never receive a call back. The worst was the secretary of Dr Mydlarski in the eye department. I tried to make an appointment and called 4-5 times. I never got through to the secretary. One time I managed to reach someone you put me through. I was told by the doctor’s secretary that oh I got your message but I don’t have time to call everyone. Then it was to early to make the appointment and I had to start this nonsense again. When we had the appointment for my dad unfortunately the doctor was sick. Not a problem with that but the secretary got the phone recording saying no service at that number she could not even bother to look in the chart for next of kin to contact me. Finally went to see the doctor he was nice. We were not even told which waiting room to seat in, as they were chairs in front of her office. She never called me for the follow up appointment as she promised as it was to early to book

(Translated) June 2017. I showed up at 7:30 in the morning with my 82 year old mother who has Alzheimer's disease. My mother was injured in the shoulder. At 12:30, I insisted that the doctor give him an opinion and this, after an X-ray, an electrogram, a blood test ... Anyway, my mother was crying, she was exhausted. And, me after 4 and a half hours constantly telling her what was going to happen because, because of her illness, she forgot and I have to repeat my explanations every five minutes ... my patience was exhausted. The doctor absolutely wanted her to pee for one more test: a urine test ... Twice I tried to pee her in the potty ... impossible. We were moved to the family room to wait for the doctor's diagnosis ...... And there we were 4 stretchers glued against each other ... to wait ... One of the patients had the diaper in the air ... My mother cried and her anxiety overflowed from all sides. I insisted on seeing the doctor and the staff was not cooperative. Finally, because my mother cried and kept repeating the same words, they accelerated things. Did my mother come out worse off than when she went to the emergency room? I am patient with her but not with the staff who do not know how to recognize that Alzheimer's disease is difficult for the person affected, but also, for the one who watches over this person. In short, the doctor should have kept to the essentials, an x-ray of her injured shoulder and dropped the other tests because, she had no history. (Original) Juin 2017.

ER doctor Michael Engo kept trying to walk away from me as I tried to ask him questions about my diagnosis and was very condescending in his answers. He showed a lack of maturity and bedside manners
We've had a couple ultrasounds here, both went smoothly for the most part. However, getting a hold of the OB unit (or anyone on the phone for that matter) has been a nightmare every time. Currently trying to schedule a 32 week ultrasound, have called literally 13 times in the past few days (have tried several other times in the past two weeks) and the phone just keeps ringing and nobody ever picks up. I finally went through the general hospital number to try that way, and was told "I can't do anything about that, you just need to keep trying". We're just a couple weeks out from needing the ultrasound done and I'm feeling really frustrated at how hard it is to get a hold of someone to schedule our appointment.
Really bad service

Terrible service ,beside that you will be categorized there! I went there with stomach pain, just look at the some of the questions in the reception: 1.where are you from originally? 2.what is your job?
I was brought the JGH ER after suffering a series of head strikes in late April. The nurses (Nurse Linda and Ryan, if I recall correctly) as well as the psychiatrist (can't remember the name) were all excellent, even in the midst of a pandemic. They really seemed to care and approached me with compassion despite the situation. I appreciate that more than anyone knows, and I am glad that they were there to provide me care. The only thing I would critique is that I was not given water for 6-7 hours and I was severely dehydrated by the time the breakfast tray rolled around. However, the experience I had with the doctor was not that great. I saw her briefly (2-3 minutes), and she asked me if I ever hard voices. When I said no, she left and did not ask me about the head strikes, pain, or other symptoms. I received no care and was not given a CT. At discharge, I was told I should follow up with my PCP regarding getting a CT, but with the pandemic, that has been largely impossible. I continue to get frequent, bad headaches (which I didn't get before), and I am concerned that this is related to the head strikes I got back in April. I really wish they would have checked me out while I was there so that I would not be living with the consequences in the present. So, in total, a mixed bag. I know it is that way with all hospitals.
Caring nurses at this hospital.

Came to emergency, left after surgery. I recieved really great care overall. And I wish I remembered the names of all the fantastic people I dealt with or observed. The medical student in ER, who questioned me and immediately returned with the doctor on call. The ER doctor who is a great teacher/mentor. Was professional, yet human. The evening shift security guard who interacted with many people, chatting about everything and nothing... but changing the thoughts of people who may be there for scary reasons. The 5th floor day shift nurse, who had a sunny personality and immediately put me at ease. Her sweetness and silliness made me feel better. The post op nurse who was so patient with all my needs. Her bed side manner was gentle and generous. She explained most of what was happening to me and what was normal. And the assistant anesthesiologist who was my angel in the operating room. She took most of my fears away because of her aura. She gave me the time I needed and made me feel safer. I would also like to say (and not because I am complaining). Please remember, most people don't know what is happening so I know you need to repeat things to every patient (and that can be tiresome for you) but for them it's the first time. Waking up in post op, the first few times, without a voice scared me. I would also like to say, I got the sense that ER sending cases to surgery upsets the team. I think there may need to have some conversations and perhaps consider some cross training to understand each other's issues. Again this is not a complaint, just an observation from a patient... I thank you all. I appreciate you more than you know.
Emergency is made for patients gravely accidentally heart attack broken legs or hands graves or insuperable crisis people in good health should not going to emergency family doctors should resolve the problems but the system is rowing

I recommend this hospital without hesitation. (Original) Le service est incroyable. Le personnel est à l'écoute de nos besoins. After almost 3 years of experience as a patient with this hospital, I can only speak from the experience gathered. This is not a good hospital. A patient has time to die running in and out of depts. trying to get help. It is time consuming and expensive. Even the ombudsman, Rosemary Steinberg, doesn't do her work and would rather defend the corrupted physicians. Why is she even there? She doesn't represent the people; she represents the illegal activities of these physicians; she has no back-bone to stand for the patients. Sadly, I have also noticed that Christians (and one would think that such prejudices would be a thing of the past?) are always placed at the end of a waiting list. Most of the physicians are arrogant, incompetent, self-serving, and it is scary to witness the lack of knowledge the specialists have. I am still suffering and now must find another hospital if I don't die in my bed first. The physicians will never admit their mistakes; it's like a clique mentality and if you speak with them rationally and logically and they don't like this, they will vent out their prejudices in your medical dossier and walk down the corridors like they believe they are the most superior people on this planet. I went to this hospital to receive help and they had me running around in circles. This is not a good hospital.

Huge waiting time at emergency! Was there with my mother for abdominal pain After 8 hours we were still waiting for what is called a re-evaluation Not sure how long the wait is in other places. Poor Canadian healthcare system!,! Will try the private clinic experience next
ER and ID department took excellent care of my husband after a leg wound got infected. We were very grateful for the excellent care
Rude and disrespectul.
Very bad experience i ever had in life about hospitals....waiting period is too long...nobody bother about your pain... Poor assessment and poor care
The worst ER experience Ive had yet. Waited close to 3 hours only to find out there had been a mistake in the names and my mother had to wait even longer to see a doctor from the time she had come in! Not happy with the service we have gotten.
Some of the nurses are rude. Our grandfather is on c7 floor the nurse on charge for labor day was rude, didn't know how to approach with family.. we are there to visit our grandpa every day.. if you ring the call bell at 10hoo they will come 3 hours late.. that's there routine..

I was operated during the pandemic. Everyone went out of there way. Helpful, kind. It was a very positive experience. The Gynecology/ Oncology dept are all amazing. Thank you. Martine Masson De Koninck
Great ER and hospital. I had to go to the ER 3 times and I'm not Jewish nor a native English speaker. All made an effort to speak French and some were French speaking natives. I commend them all. On weekdays early afternoon with a serious issue I waited 2 hours before seeing a doctor. On Saturday night I waited 5 hours plus 1-2 in the observation room (I slept). I put my coat on top of me while lying down on the bed, then a man nurse came and offered a blanket. The ER doctors are highly trained, young and I trust their expertise. They study 10+ years for that. They are not family doctors, if you think they're going to explain stuff for 30 mins etc. you best forget about that. They're here to cater to the emergency component of the situation, and other parts of the healthcare system have to do the rest (CLSC, clinics, specialists etc.). Yes coordination is not easy, even in the smallest business it isn't so imagine this. The way it's set up is they stack patients in observation rooms which surround some central workplace for the doctors and nurses etc. Sometimes someone will come in and do some initial preliminary work, like an intern, then they will go back there and most likely work with teammates to figure out what to do next and bring in someone who's more senior if need be. When you're in the observation room don't be anxious, try to relax and sleep if possible. Even if I was paid what they're paid I would NEVER do the job they do, the stuff they have to see and the risks they're exposed to, I find they're really courageous and I'm thankful people like them will do the job. It's not like the JGH has to solve all the systemic problems healthcare has, like people like me not having a family doctor. It's a big hospital with lots of people. During the day it feels like a mall. I'm really happy to have an hospital like that nearby really. For blood work in the hospital, it took about 50 mins before I was processed, which is reasonable considering there were about 60 people before me when I showed up (they have a timer showing an estimate and it's pretty accurate). Infectious disease clinic is very busy but I saw a doctor after some 2 hours and had an appointment and there wasn't much delay. I wait more at the dentist. I had a question so I phoned the clinic and left a message and the assistant returned my call the next day. I even phoned the ER a few hours after some intervention because I wanted to make sure I understood the instructions correctly because I was stressed out and so I was able to speak to the ER doctor I saw, which I found truly amazing. Another doctor had given me his business card with an email and suggested I kept him posted about something then ultimately asked me to come by the ER. They all have their methods but they care about their work and their patients, even though they have to rush and they're under crazy pressure. Most clinics I know are about travel and vaccination and most won't even take new patients to analyze blood work or deal with any serious emergency and I'd wait just as much to see someone who will need to refer me to specialist. Nothing is ever perfect but it's very very good. I wish in the ER they put mats or something so that you can lie down and sleep, and I wish they had an electronic board to show who's being called with their picture showing up instead of a nurse shouting names which hinders your sleep while you wait. I'll bring a yoga mat next time (hopefully there won't be a next time but hey.)
Waiting endless amounts of time for no good reason!!! Zero communication between employees
I came this morning at 7.20am to the Infectious Diseases Department, and until now 11.20am I am still waiting!!! When I came to ask the lady in the front deck at E0064 that I saw people who came after me got to see the doctor first (while the rule says first come first serve), she seemed impatient and raised her voice. I asked her in such a respectful tone of voice but she was so rude as if she is doing me a favour. Disrespectful!!!! Will never come back!
A big waist of time.

Wanted to get a consultation for a dental implant, told I would have to wait 6 months because they had 20 patients on the "list" and they were taking one a week. They called me 1 YEAR LATER for an appointment and gave me a one and only date and time slot, I asked for an alternate date/time because I couldn't make it then and all they could offer is to put me back on their waiting list with an indefinite future date. If this had been a quasi-emergency (and they don't differentiate between an emergency or not) JGH wouldn't have been an option at all with the ridiculous wait periods and no option to choose time/date, only proffesional services would've been viable if you can afford double the price.
Waited 5 hours for asthma treatment ????????????????????????????????????
The best hospital in Montreal! Everybody is professional and kind
absolutely terrible hospital. nurses pay no attention and could leave patients alone for hours, turn a blind eye to patients in need and could leave them alone in pain. disgusting

Waiting time is unbelievable Was Waiting from 8am till after 4pm for a stupid visit
They are racist. I'm saying that as a white french speaking person. I showed up with a ruptured appendix, they made me wait the first triage even if it was obvious to everyone that I was suffering. The second triage nurse set me for priority. When I was waiting for the first triage a jewish person showed up , he said he had ruptured his appendix. He skipped the 2 triage and when I entered the emergency room he was readying his self for a CT Scan (drinking the juice). The doctor pushed with all his weight on my appendix , made me wait for hours for an Xray than pushed again violently where it hurts. He finally decided I needed a CT scan , hours after the jewish person had his and was gone (of course his appendix was not ruptured). After 12 hours and 2 morphin doses they realised I was right. The nurse didn't gave me my antibiotics before the operation. Don't go there unless you are jewish or you will be treated like a second class citizen. I want to point out that the hospital and emergency room were practically empty (which is nearly impossible for an hospital in Quebec) and now I understand why. It should not be a public hospital.

Have been to JGH for my wife's pregnancy with doctor Koby and the doctor and everyone in the staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The hospital is very well kept and the wait times whenever we've been there either to meet the doctor or the laboratory has been low. It's a Montreal institution and deservedly so.
I have been to this hospital ER many times. The same thing over and over. Some nurses, triage and information desk staff treat patients horrible. Their attitude makes it seem like they are doing the people a favor. They have completely forgotten they are providing a service and actually just doing their job. You say hello and they start raising their voice. The biggest joke is a sign that says to treat the staff with respect or else the patient will be escorted. I have had some great nurses and doctors here but unfortunately it is overshadowed by the angry bunch.
Sorry to say that I because I had good experiences when I had my surgery in 2016 but I had 3 back surgerys on November 2021 w surgerys in 17 days was really bad and horrible the services some nurses not respect and rude I had my 2 vaccines I had the test before the first surgery was positive than I had other one after 2 day before the second surgery was low positive for 3 days than they find out I'm positive and its wrong result for other person they make me crazy and feel so bad

Phenomenal service and treatment.... Don't do anywhere else.

I ask them for a surgery they said we cant do that nowi have my hand fkkk bcz of them I will sue them
Ok so a few months ago I was told I was not allowed back at the dental clinic....the receptionist is extremely rude and will dissrespectl anyone with questions or opinions ....not only did they charge me for emergency visits every time but they never told me about those fees including other fees they added in there....I was pissed to know that they swallowed 350 dollars from me told me my root canal was 350 six months later it went up to 750.... they have no idea what they are doing, also I called to get my invoice they refuse to send it to me had to call 3 times and argue with the same receptionist and had to yell at her so she could highlight all the hidden charges. She should not work there and some dentists should get fired since they told me my tooth was fixable. I went to another dentist and they told me it wasn't they removed and showed me how decayed it was.... the worst dentists ever.
If you want to die then you're in the right place
Unfortunately I've had a series of medical emergencies over the past two months. Until yesterday I had nothing but praise for the emergency department. Yes, the wait time is outrageously long -- never less than 6 hours for a visit. But I found all the doctors who saw me to be thorough, courteous, respectful, and concerned; they called for the appropriate specialist consults and arranged follow-up visits with specialists. Excellent care. Until yesterday -- when the resident who finally saw me after a 5-hour wait acted as though I were wasting her time -- she relied solely on the info on her computer screen and kept rushing out to check it; she did not take a proper history; she did not ask questions about either my chest pain or my difficulty breathing; she never used her stethoscope. After a cursory glance at my vital signs on the monitor, she rushed out again and back to her computer screen, without informing me what would happen next. A nurse entered shortly after and asked if she could be of assistance, so I told her the story -- she was concerned, and told the senior doctor. After a while he came in with the resident, who proceeded to lie about her 'exam' of me. Neither of them took a history or used a stethoscope. The more senior doctor proceeded to contradict the diagnosis of two senior cardiologists in the same hospital. It was patronizing, dismissive, and very poor medicine. I was shocked, and left in disgust. I understand that it was a busy night, and that there were patients in more critical condition than I was. But that is no reason to treat me in a dismissive manner and neglect rudimentary procedures after I had waited 5 hours. Through all these months all my standard test results for the 'critical' cardiac factors have been normal -- I clearly do not have one of the standard cardiac conditions. At least 3 cardiologists, plus all previous JGH emergency room physicians, have understood that and looked for other underlying conditions for my serious symptoms. But this resident seemed to apply some kind of crude template in order to dismiss me. It was the worst kind of example of arrogant, disrespectful, 'machine' medicine. I'm sad to have to report this, as all my other experiences have been positive and I have been confident in all the other care I've received. This young resident needs a serious attitude adjustment, and to learn basic rules of initial consultation and bedside manner. At present she is a menace, and I will be reporting her. My advice is to avoid this emergency room on a weekend unless you are in critical condition and wheeled in on a stretcher by paramedics. Otherwise, the standard of care seems excellent, and the doctors (with this one notable exception) respectful and thorough.
very efficient
I went to the ER last week . It was tuesday morning because I feel a burning pain in my stomach with dizziness, and I vomitted. I waited 5 hours until I saw the doctor, during that 5 hours I vomit 5 times as well ,crying on pain and they just ignore me and some nurses are a little rude. I asked to have a new clean mask since my mask has vomit on it but she told me, “Just wait sit down I will come back to you “ while shes infront of her computer and the box of mask was just beside her. Its so simple and easy to just give one right? So i waited and she didnt come to see me so i went on the nurses station to ask again and then that's when she gave me a mask. I dont know whats happening but the way they work there is not good. They dont clean the table before and after getting blood for blood test as well. They should let the patient use the toilet when they need it rather than saying its still dirty you need to wait until its cleaned. I hope this could be fixed.
Wow what a difference! I have unfortunately been going for emergencies with my mother (70's) kids under 14 and mother in law (60's). Was there last night by ambulance and they took care of her from start to finish. Always had someone to help and lead us through the process. My daughter was taken immediately with chicken pox ( as was I). No wait no worry. Unfortunately when my mother was brought in by airplane from Europe with a shattered ankle, with all her info and medication and a cast, we waited over ten hours for a specialist bto arrive in the morning. We could have taken her home and come back during the day( after 10 hours of travel). But all in all am amazing renovated facility. Great staff, maybe just instead of telling everyone walhat they want to hear, let us know we have the option to come back. Thanks again
Terrible Day, More then 11hrs!! Took my dad to the ER. Since he was not VAX but had a negative COVID test result. Triage nurse still put him in a new emerge Ambulance Garage area for COVID patients. He was exposed to the virus all day. Horrible treatment, unclean, no staff, no food. Make sure you bring a jacket, food, water if you don’t want to starve. If you can avoid going to this hospital even better. Only one good thing few Drs are kind & very good.

Worst hospital for emergency. We have been here for 6hours now and no doctor has came to see us. There is no one to respond what is going on. Suffering from pain is terrible enough, horrible human resource management at this hospital is 10 times more painful, devastating and nerve-wracking than your actual pain. Awful management and an obvious waste of our tax money.
Best hospital in Montreal! Gave birth there twice and the nurses and doctors are super kind and helpful! Love this hospital!
They are RACIST if you’re not jewish they are rude! And dont do there JOB espacially at the ER

This hospital is ran like a zoo. I am currently looking into bringing a lawsuit against them for breach of privacy and professional negligence while hospitalized there in January. After the treatment I received from the head nurse and one of their doctors, I had to bring my complaint to the Ombudsman, whose investigation determined that the nurse did in fact breach my privacy. As a reminder, Quebec law forces the Ombudsman to get back to you with their findings within 45 days of the complaint being filed. The Ombudsman, Rosemary Steinberg, never contacted me to let me know of her findings. In fact, she sent me a letter indicating she would NOT be able to fill her legal obligation within the delay imposed by the law. I had to contact her myself to find out the investigation into the nurse did result in enough evidence to establish wrongdoing, however this same investigation was never completed into the doctor that committed these acts of negligence which have created subsequent health issues. For that reason the JGH is in direct violation of Quebec law and doesn't seem to care. My recent follow-up attempts led to no response from the Ombudsman. Considering the negligence that the hospital has shown on multiple levels, you can be sure it is a systemic issue. And if it is, I will make sure to bring legal action against the hospital so that they finally realize that they are subsidized with taxpayer money, and are therefore at our service in the same way law enforcement is. We shouldn't consider ourselves "lucky" to get incomplete treatment, or disrespected by staff. And we certainly shouldn't tolerate an Ombudsman who, instead of standing up for patients, breaks the law and thinks she can get away with it. That goes against the very reason she has a job in the first place. For your own sake, stay away from that hospital. No Montreal hospital has good service, but St Mary's is down the street and I haven't witnessed anything illegal happening there, on the contrary. You might be a bit safer there.
Ridiculous
The staff was very nice. Bravo to nurse cinthia at ER ( friday 15 @ 5am). Her work was efficient and she was very nice to interact with. the doctor were also great and the man at the triage was funny and kind. wait time is wayyyy to long i was there 7h but its like that everywhere.

Great hospital and staff. Poor signage (read non other than generous families) on buildings to identify A, B, C D, E pavilions.
I was very surprised to read the poor reviews. I have had 3 surgeries in the past 5 years and the medical team have always inspired confidence and trust. My most recent experience was outstanding from the receptionists, orderlies, nurses and of course doctors. I could not have asked for a more caring and compassionate team. I would not want to be treated anywhere else.

Cool
I would say 1 star is to much. I spend there 13 hours with pain. They could not find the reason. For this 13 hous no painkiller, no water, no food. Just i Canada we have such unhumane medical care and for huges taxes that we pay
waiting time sucks. they let me wait for over 8 hours. They only had two doctors. What's wrong with our Hospital system?
The waiting time is way too long. Also, the incompetent doctors won’t listen to you properly. What’s the point of being a doctor if you can’t diagnose what the problem is & the patient is still not feeling well even after 6 months?! I’m done with this hospital. Never ever going back there.

Unbelievable service that not willing to provide the information about hospital fee it might charge for patients with specific conditions! Transferring phone around and hanging off phone in the end... seriously no need to visit the hospital to experience their un-compassionate attitude and service, you can directly figured how they would treat you in person.
Went to emergency room for heel injury. Took only 4.5 hours to finish. X-ray and all. Really efficient and faster than expected!
Among the longest wait time 6+ hrs. Staff are rude. Doctors are not great. They don't care about you. They just want you in and out asap. I had a few questions about my health and he told me he didn't have time, he needs to see other patience.
I live in Toronto and on Friday afternoon I had to call to find another hospital in Montreal who would ensure that my brother would receive adequate same day emergency service. He went in with his left leg double the size of his right one. Triage nurse told him that the doctor would probably put him on blood thinners cause it looks like a clot. She then told my brother that he would have to go back to the hospital daily to have his leg checked out, because the ultrasound dept. closes at 4:00 pm and only reopens Monday morning!!! Uh Duh, now let's see, Hospital Emergency Dept. Open 24Hrs... am I missing out or just not understanding something?

The receptionist in the cardiac testing unit was so self-obsessed and busy talking with a colleague about personal business, she did not even speak to me, nor confirm my appointment or tell me what to do next, when she handed my RAMQ card back to me. For her, patients do not exist - it is all about her. Not the first time I have seen this at the Jewish General. These people have a position with benefits - not a job where they actually want to serve patients. And when roused, they tend to think it is being professional and efficient to be a berating, demeaning, infantilizing fishwife and termagant. The Jewish General used to be more customer/patient service oriented. The Jewish General human resources department needs to get its head out of a most improper orifice.

Omg we have amazing caring staff doctors nurse and all in the hospital Dr Trudeau sweetheart soft spoken makes your blood pressure go down with his greeting His secretary Rina extremely responsible concerned helpful The nurse amazing to bring down your pressure with her soft smile Next Dr Kasner eye doctor He works so hard keeps amazingly calm and pleasant and does all what he can do for you to better your vision He is amazing Next Ent Dr Rapaport again swift sharp kind knows patients history before analyzing Very understanding and helpful God Bless JGH And hopefully we all other than Jewish (Given the hatred) appreciate our God given gift to us Jewish and non Jewish patients of this wonderful huge hearted family hospital Final point I am a not rich But though this hospital caters to most super rich like Catholics/Sikhs/Muslims/Arabs etc They take Jewish care but don’t donate/contribute like the Jewish community does Does anyone have an answer to that Thanks
You can die waiting there. If you are by mistake in this hospital, charge your phone and be enough equiped by all your needs (food, books, games, .. ) to pass your time (11 hours was my waiting time till the end)
What a horrible experience for such a good hospital. The emergency triage nurse Marie Michelle Trudell rolled her eyes coz she didn`t believe my son had those symptoms. She put my son in the low priority list and we waited in the waiting room for over 4 hours. We left and went to the Glen and was triaged immediately and put on treatemnt and was told my son had to stay overnight for monitoring. Update: it is such a tragedy after reading the other reviews on other sites how this once great hospital has fallen and the hospital management choses to do nothing about it.

they are so efficient
Would give 0 stars if possible, other terrible service we've received aside..don't bother going to their ER unless you are Shot and bleeding out..they have a nice list on the wall of things they "won't" treat in the ER anymore, basically if your not bleeding out..get out! so if you have a fractured bone like I did, they will send you to some outside clinic that you have to walk to for X-rays that has a 6 week waiting period. Triage nurse couldn't even be bothered to ask how I injured myself or any basic questions. Im not sure how this hospital got its reputation for being "good"...It's not, do yourself a favor and go to another hospital if you want healthcare

Too Jewish for my liking.
Went to the emergency last night. The nurse was great and she told me I would have to wait all night before I can see a doctor so she booked me an appointment at a clinic near by and she still checked my blood pressure and temperature and I appreciate her for not making me sit all night and wait.
Have been to the emergency twice in the last two weeks with an elderly neighbor and i cannot say enough good things about the staff!! From nurses to orderlies and doctors and even the janitotial staff, they have listened, and been kind, and gone above and beyond. May God bless them!!

(Translated) Too much waiting time. The doctor does not take the time to check the condition of his patients. this is the worst hospital i have seen in my life. Nurses are so rude. I do understand that the job is exhausting but they need to treat people with respect. My mother was in the psychiatry department and they treated her so bad. The recepionist are even worse. There was this lady named Betty, she is old and short, she was by far the meanest person i have encountered. In additon, it was so dirty and all you can smell is urine. They are also very racist and treat the jews much better. I couldnt wait until my mother was better so can leave this filthy hospital. I live in Toronto and i can tell you one thing, there is a HUGE difference in everything. This is so sad to see patients being treated like they were nothing.
Unbelievable waiting times. I have been diagnosed with a tumor and nobody from the hospital will get back to me. Every time I call I am being put on hold and transfered to someone new. Nobody is updating me, nobody returns my calls.
Best Hospital in Qc !!! i would like to thank this hospital and all it's personel for the human and personal touch they have with their patients :) best emergency care in the whole QC thank you thank you thank you again!!!
Worst service ever. I'm wondering why hospital get so much money if even if they obviously have tens of beds free right beside you they still make you sleep on the chairs in the waiting area.
I've waited 10 hours until they called my name to do the operation. I felt so much pain waiting inside the emergency room.
Worst experience Emergency waiting times are just horrible
my father suffered appendicitis, and he underwent surgery after 24 hours which caused the liquid to spill. my father had to do a CT scan but since the CT scan is closed on weekends he had to wait until Monday. The doctors say nothing and now my father is fighting for his life because of the slowness and bad medical decisions
Mental Health department doesn't care about you. It feels like Cuckoo's Nest or American Horror Season 2. If you feel lost, have dark thoughts, don't know where to go but finally have the balls to seek some help, they will make you feel even worse. Doctors and nurses are all condescending. for anyone that is seeking help in the mental health department, please go to a different hospital/clinic! I heard Douglas is a good start! Good luck
I loved this hospital until I was serviced at Herzel by a Russian looking with a RUSKI accent lady that was talking to her friend for like 10 minutes before she decided to look my way and I made a comment to my wife saying "wow can you believe this"? and that Russian or whatever lady with reddish hair said " Excuse me???? I am not here to serve you, this is a hospital, you don't like it leave" we did not say anything back because my wife was very sick and needed to see her doctor,,,, this is absurd, she was so rude and nasty, my wife and I are planning to make a corporate complaint against her.

(Translated) I was operated very well for a fracture of the neck of the femur. The post-operative care was well done. On the other hand, I am French and, when leaving the hospital, I could not have any file on my operation: no radio, before and after my operation, no report of the operation. On my return to France, my attending physician asked me for a minimum of information that I could not give him ... he cannot follow my convalescence ... he prescribed me the minimum: an X-ray to see exactly what was done. I called for an appointment and the receptionist was so rude, she didn’t want to hear what had to say and interrupted me every 2 words. I seriously have never felt so disrespected. She said she couldn’t help me and gave me another phone number before hanging up on me. I called the second phone number, hoping to have a better service, but same thing again, I had the feeling that she just didn’t want to help me and that I was wasting her time with my simple request (to get an ultrasound of datation for a new pregnancy following a pregnancy loss). She said that I had to go all the way there and hung up on me without saying bye. What a terrible service and what a disrespect.
(Translated) If you laughed when you saw the madhouse in "The 12 works of Asterix", you will cry at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal as it is discouraging. I went there to accompany someone who had a medical appointment for Immigration Canada and I can not believe what I saw. - Excellent signage in the hospital. - The staff met speaks excellent French and some even speak a very good Spanish. - Most people are courteous. - When you do not have a health card, you have to pay. We knew that we had to pay medical consultation and tests (it's expensive but it's like that). - For cons, you have to pay $ 130.00 just for the hospital card (to have the right to move and sit on the chairs, what!). And just for a day. Some staff tell us no, because it's an Immigration Canada appointment you do not have to pay. But we still had to pay. - We were often asked for a green paper. We were sent from office to office to look for it (and we even wanted to send to PRAIDA) to finish that the paper is yellow, we had to pay (again!) And end up not having this famous paper. We walked, walked and walked in the corridors of this hospital. - Staff often give conflicting opinions. Some people just do not listen to what they are told. For them, all immigrants are refugees. NO! When they are told that they are wrong, they try to send us a walk saying that we have to get other papers from PRAIDA. It is an excellent organization (PRAIDA) but we knew we had the right papers. When the staff saw that I knew what I was talking about (I am still a social worker and I work with immigrants sometimes), there they changed their tone. - I wonder how many immigrants are simply fooled, miss their appointment by the incompetence of the staff and so unduly push back their immigration procedures? - Does Immigration Canada realize that by sending them immigrants, they are captive and get caught? It is to exploit the poor world who works with pain and misery at the minimum wage. Simply obnoxious.
I received transphobic treatment from the staff when trying to get my hospital card for employment there. Even though there's a F on my card and even though I fully pass as a woman, when they discovered that I had a previous account with "M", they made it a big deal, they wouldn't give me a new account. They wanted to updated the old account but didn't knew how, so they started asking many people outing me as transgender to all of them. I was called "he", "she", "he", "she" constantly. It's like their brain exploded from knowing that I once had a penis. It was extremely dehumanizing. Moral of the story, if you go there as a transgender with the corrected gender marker, when they ask if you already been at their hospital, lie and say no. It's not worth the trouble to end up being treated like a circus show.
(Translated) Three hours of waiting so that after they don't even tell us that there are two doctors that they didn't show up for work. Truly great staff and team of physicians. Thank you so much for my emergency treatment
Awful. Good for nothing. Extremely terrible. Everything is soooooo bad there. I can't believe it.
I was trying to get an appointment for dermatology on Wednesday February 24 in the right interval After all recorded messages who keeps more than 5 minutes I got a message telling me to don't leave any message and to call in the requested interval which I did. I have to mention each time when I tried to make an appointment by phone at this department it was the same thing In my opinion will be fair to say you don't take appointment by phone or to change your politics Regards, Michael

(Original) Le service a l'Urgence est parfait, sans attente, les medecins sont top excellents. Merci a vous tous. Je vous aime, mais je prefere aller le moins souvent possible.
I have been in this hospital a couple of times. The waiting time of the emergency room depends on the reason for visit and priority. Once I broke my hand, and they took care of it fast, then they referred me to the clinic (a surgeon) for the follow up. The other occasions were also reasonably fine. Also, I have been going to the clinic for some time, and I am satisfied. I had an unpleasant experience with one the staff, but this is a big place and many people work there. Overall, my experience was good, and I appreciate their efforts and helps.
Honestly, there needs to be changes in the dentist department with their rude secretaries. If their jobs were to offend, make people feel stupid and unworthy of their time then they get an A++ for their jobs. This is such an absurdity, if a patient needs to go to your department specifically because she or he takes Coumadin and needs to be in a hospital to get his teeth checked don't make the person feel awful about themselves. What if that person needed assistance other than an ordinary dental clinic somewhere else without any specialized Dr for his case?
Great nurses and doctors! Keep up the good work!
(Translated) My husband was hospitalized for 3.5 months in the midst of a pandemic: emergency, intensive care, surgery, medicine. Merci de lui avoir sauvé la vie!
Efficient and friendly, one of the best hospitals I’ve been to.
Very caring, atrentive staff, nurses, doctors et al..
The emergency staff are pleasant. However one staff member became verbally aggressive with me and the hospital refused to do anything. I'm still horrified by this experience. I do not recommend this hospital.
Long waits are the only problems. Dr. Shamy and Dr. Karaplis are wonderful caregivers.
(Translated) The secretaries laugh at us. I was told to call them back if I don't hear from them, which I did. She tells me that I am not in their system, so I ask her the procedure for an appointment. She advises me that I have to move to bring her my request, I tell her that this is not what my doctor told me, they were supposed to call me for a date. She tells me to wait a moment and puts me back in the loop of automated messages which takes about 5 min per time in order to get to the end and it sounds. I had to loop about 5 times without success (she avoided my calls, it never sounded the same number of times) before she decided to answer me by pretending that she didn't know who I was (" I talk to a lot of people ... "). So I try to extract my requested information quickly because her arrogance annoys me more, but she tries to cut me off. When I stop talking, waiting for an answer, she says to me: finished? In the end, my doctor can send the request, no need to travel. However, I will go elsewhere.
Among the best.
