Misdiagnosed me, which extended the time it took to get proper treatment greatly. When I was seen by one of the best experts around, even if expensive, it greatly improved my quality of life. They also expressed horror over how poorly supported the report from Dr.Hilary Duncan was, and the expert I saw after said only the quantitative scores (if anything) collected by Dr.Duncan’s intern and none of the interpretations, were transferable. Even this is iffy since the intern has not been confirmed to have formal clearance to administer these tests.
The cognition test I took was not even administered by Dr.Duncan, but by an intern. Duncan did not even mention the intern had taken the data, both data from qualitative interview observations and quantitative test results, in the final report which is dishonest work. The only time I met Dr.Duncan in person (everything was pre-pandemic) was when she delivered the diagnosis. This is incredibly unethical.
I say this only out of concern for patients seeking support for their respective predicaments to avoid having to pay for two neuropsych assessments to get access to the right help. I hope Dr.Duncan will play a more active, honest, and conscientious role in her patients’ testing in the future. In any case, I would recommend seeing a different practitioner who does not cut corners, even if more costly.
