I came in at about 4h40 on a Tuesday for the covid test. Not even a waiting line. The staff was super quick, super nice, friendly and understanding. They even gave reusable masks. Had a really good experience there.

Arrived at 7:40 for a blood test, had it completed and was out the door for 8:00 am. Apparently they just started their blood test service in the mornings and it isn't well-known yet, so service is quick. This was my first time at the clinic. You must come with a prescription for the blood test. FYI that as of Oct. 1, 2019, only patients registered with a family doctor will be accepted at the walk-in clinic. Also a heads up that it is very difficult to get information by phone.

Apparently there are no doctors there after the morning. Dont waste your time the receptionist didnt really care. How u say u open 12 hrs when the doctor is only there for 4 hours. GARBAGE Update: went back, and then they told me to arrive before 8 not noon. Their story changed. I think they just don't want to take walk-ins. The administration here is awful I'm sure the doctors are nice but the administration is so awful that they only get 1 star.

I need to obtain a new health card and find this branch on the official website. However it doesn't have this function currently. The desk guy just show me this paper and ask me to inquire the clerk, l took a number and waited 20min and the clerk gave me one more same paper, and told me to call the number on the bottom, she don't know anything else. I thought it was great that the lady at the reception was chatting with a client in her native language (Spanish). 10 minutes later, however, I understood that this client was actually a friend the lady at the front desk was chatting with as several people waited to get their sample. The collection center had also been there for several (probably because the discussion between the lady at the reception and her friend had taken place for a long time). After a 15-minute wait, I was called and then learned that I was not entitled to a debit because my health insurance card was from New Brunswick (vs. RAMQ). So it was quite frustrated that I left the CLSC, unfortunately. (Original) Expérience mitigée : Le CLSC semblait bien organisé et accueillant. Je trouvais super que la dame à la réception discutait avec une cliente dans sa langue maternelle (espagnol). 10 minutes plus tard cependant, j'ai compris que cette cliente était en fait une amie avec qui la dame de la réception jasait alors que plusieurs personnes attendaient pour obtenir leur prélèvement. Le centre de prélèvement était par ailleurs depuis plusieurs (probablement car la discussion entre la dame de la réception et son amie avait lieu depuis longtemps). Après une 15 de minutes d'attente, on m'a appelé et j'ai alors appris que je n'avais pas le droit à un prélèvement car ma carte d'assurance maladie était néo-brunswickoise (vs. RAMQ). C'est donc assez frustré que je suis sorti du CLSC, malheureusement.

Doc MacLaren & Doc Albright are great. They take their time with you and you and show interest and concern for patients. I haven't met the other doctors. The majority of clerical staff is pretty horrible though and you feel worse for dealing with them as they are always short on time and are not forthcoming with information. That loses one star. When your doctor says, “go to any clsc” for a blood test, and you show up and they say, you have to come two weeks from now between specific hours, you’d think they’d have some information available by phone or online but no. Nothing, just a waste of everybody’s time.

Went there around a month ago to get my second dose of COVID vaccine. I didn’t have an appointment this time, so I had to wait outside with a couple more people for a good 30 mins. No one was rude, it felt like they wanted everyone to be vaccinated so waiting wasn’t an issue. The infrastructure however shows its age, it feels like a hospital/clinic straight out of 80s. Cramped and dark. They make you take an elevator to the basement for vaccinations, and the wait continues there. You also play a medical version of musical chairs, as in you line up by sitting in chairs and you keep chair hopping as the line moves. Again, the nurses and doctors there were super kind as well.

(Translated) After making an appointment for samples I show up there and so far everything is fine. On the prescription 2 tests to be done. 2 different ones lasting 24 hours. The nurse gives me the equipment for 1 test that I do in 24 hours. The scan comes back canceled because I was not given the correct material. No dietary instruction and restriction sheet that should be given with the test was given to me. How you can make this type of mistake is written on the prescription. 24h = miss a day of work ... and with this test canceled = for nothing. How do I know there were 2 tests? Well, I went to the Villeray CLSC where I was received with much more professionalism both at the reception and by the nurses. (Original) Après avoir pris un rdv pour prélèvements je me présente sur place et jusqu’ici tout va bien. Sur la prescription 2 tests à faire. 2 différents d’une durée de 24h. L’infirmière me remet le matériel pour 1 test que je fais en 24h. L’analyse revient annulée, car on ne m’a pas remis le bon matériel. Aucune feuille de consignes et de restrictions alimentaires qui devait être donnée avec le test ne m’a été remis. Comment on peut faire ce type d’erreur c’est écrit sur la prescription. 24h = manquer une journée de travail ... et avec ce test annulé = pour rien. Comment je sais qu’il y avait 2 test? Et bien je suis allé au CLSC de Villeray ou j’ai été reçu avec beaucoup plus de professionnalisme tant à l’accueil que par les infirmières.

The administration is pathetic! They say they do blood tests on the website, I see a panel saying to go on the first floor for blood tests AND I see a blood test counter! And they dare to tell me they don't do blood tests! And I waited for an hour outside so I can have my blood tests done! But the staff is very nice and the clerk apologised for all this disorganisation. Call before going. That's my only advice.

Hands down one of the worst clinics in montreal. I am an actual patient, I simply want to call to make an apointment to see my dr. I call and I have to go through a 5min robo call. Then finally when I get to choose the "make an appointment option".. the phone will ring for 5 mins, then a lady will answer and no matter what will cut you off and say hold please. The about 7 mins later it goes straight to voice mail.. but the voicemail box is full... I did this 3 times and no mater what I tried to say she put me on hold. I hear people are driving to ontario just to see a dr.. now I understand why.

Nous attentions en ligne patiemment et c'est alors qu'un monsieur est venu vérifier la porte vers 8h56. Sachant très bien que les tests sont a 13h il n'a même pas pris la peine de nous avertir. J'ai donc dû aller parler a la sécurité qui ne savait même pas elle même a qu'elle heure commencait les dépistages. La moindre des choses dans un cas de pandémie c'est de rendre accessible ce genre d'information a la population autant sur place que sur internet. C'est très frustrant.

Doctors at this CLSC are supper nice and caring. However, the front reception totally opposite: rude, authoritative. As if they wake up and take oath how much rude, authoritative, uncaring, and ignoring to people they will be that day. Even the doctors at the CLSC acknowledges there is big a problem at the front desk (and apologies for their/front-receptionist behavior). If this was private (non-govt) health care place - all the front desk would have been fired just by the review/feedback received. But unfortunately this a semi-govt CLSC, and people have to come here to see doctors - and get rude behavior from this front desk people.

My pharmacist faxed 4-5 times to ask the doctor to renew my prescription, still no answer after 2 weeks. I’m now without essential medications for 1 week already and may have seizure in any second... since I have no other choice, I walked to the CLSC counter and asked if I could see my family doctor, the receptionist said “it passed 2 pm already and practicians only see 8 patients per day, they are seeing 9 people for today already so come back tomorrow”... I checked the time, it was 2:05 pm... she later refused to help me even though I told her how bad my withdraw is from medications... she insisted that I should go back tomorrow regardless how awful I feel now... the worst medical place ever!

What terrible service from the medical secretary! First, she never picks up the phone and then when she does, she is so rude. There is only one medical secretary and it’s not the one who sits in the main reception area. She’s normally housed in one of the side booths where you go to take an appointment. I’ve had many issues with her over the phone and called out on her that she was a very rude person. I really hope they fire her.

I have a medical condition and needed to see my family doctor just for a medical form to be sighed so I put it in an envelope along with a letter explaining everything and handed it to them... 2 weeks later I get my envelope back without anything done with a letter inside requesting I take an appointment. So I called to take one and the secretary says it's only a phone appointment with my doctor and that he's supposed to give me ANOTHER appointment during this phone appointment! So they are literally giving appointments for appointments at this point... ridiculous and inefficient service and a big waste of time.
