You will see the feddbacks of people who know the services of Cavendish Campground, Prince Edward Island National Park (Psychiatrist) in the area close to Cavendish (Canada).
Nowadays this firm gets a rating of 4.5 out of 5 and this rating is based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is almost the highest, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the score is very credible. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Psychiatrist corresponds to the category of National park.
(Translated) Very good food. (Original) Sehr gutes Essen.
We were pleased with the campground. After reading the Parks Canada information we didn’t know if our slide out would fit in our site, but since Hurricane Dorian there are few trees to interfere with slide outs. Just a short walk to the beach, bathrooms, and laundry. Helpful park Canada staff.
Nice place to camping
Best campground we have been to yet!! Great for the kids, awesome view, CLEAN and great sites! Will be returning many more times!
Nice camping with clean facilities.
Very unique shore line and only on PEI.Mothers Natures erosion at it best for sculpture.
Came here 15 years ago and lived it just ss mych this time.
We we're harrassed by the wanna be police that said he was gonna ruin my futur if I was gonna have a couple of beers, while our neighbour was playing beer pong. Then all week after silence hours, the same guy was there with a flash light checking our site... really disappointed and no one should consider this camp site during cavendish music festival...
(Translated) Very close land, cleanliness without more, rudimentary sanitary block but functional .. incredible view and beach! (Original) Terrains très rapprochés, propreté correcte sans plus, bloc sanitaires assez rudimentaires mais fonctionnels.. vue et plage incroyable!

great national park in PEI! feel like having a private beach close to the camping site , and it is the best spot for sunset and sunrise !!!
For sites so close together, you did feel some privscy because of trees and other natural vegetation. They told me the site was one of the natrow ones and it was a challenge to get our 31 ft. motor home in it.
Beautiful scenery. Great for kids. We got spoiled and were in spot d13. Closest to the beach. Zero complaints.
An extremely nicely place to camp. Reserve a spot as they rarely have availability of you just show up.
Nice, clean, and a lot of beaches!

(Translated) Nice place to camp near the beach. Lots D064 to D077 are near the games if you have children. Hot showers and well-maintained toilet room. A bit noisy from what we can only assume we’re generators running in the middle of the night. But he campground is beautiful. The bathrooms are spotless and the beach is amazing!! We really appreciated that part was roped off to protect the bank swallows. The sunsets were also to die for!! Can’t wait to come back.
Glorious, clean, lucky enough to have perfect weather! Thank you , PEI!
(Translated) The best campsite in the park! The beach is great for settling without service. The beach and the dunes are very beautiful. In short, to book! (Original) Le meilleur camping du parc ! Beautiful, well-kept campgrounds, exceptionally friendly staff.
Great place. Large sites. Clean washrooms and showers.

Awesome experience! Very very quiet also. The park is kid friendly, sells fire wood (6.30$ / large bag), offers both wooded and non wooded sites, and sports plenty of bathrooms! Almost all utility sites have a septic tank which is nice but also kind of smells... the direct access to the beach is the main attraction however and unlike most beaches in pei there is lots of shells/sea glass and lots of room! Definitely recommend this park!
I have to be clear when saying my visit took place during my vacation. The camp sites a a bit small but very well kept. The services are the best that I have ever seen and beach access can't be easier. There was a tragedy that took place at the beach which ended someone's life.. Even with such missfourtunes, the staff pulled together and took care of everyone and kept a strong professionalism. I recommend this spot to anyone and everyone looking for the campground To go to. Best yet!
Nice staffs, clean bathroom. Found a hare and some fire fries.
Great beach access.
Terrible: 0 Stars They should be sued. Not at all as pictured on their website. No privacy at the site. Very little nature surrounding the site itself. We drove 16 hours to get here and just turned around and left. Never coming back.
Amazing campground. Very close to the beach. Campsites are good size. Not a lot of privacy, but beautiful and clean. A lot of trails to hiking or biking. Close to Green Gables Museum.
Good site although beach maintenance could be improved
Nice.place will go back
Nice campground close to the water.
Nice campground and pretty clean. The potholes on the road turning to go to C & D are brutal and hard on equipment. Could be filled a little even if it was with crush.
(Translated) Great campground. You feel rested with the song of the birds and the sea just a few steps away. (Original) Super terrain de camping. On se sent reposé avec le chant des oiseaux et la mer à 2 pas.
(Translated) Large, well maintained campsite, friendly staff, showers are hot and pressurized, there are outlets and water taps on site. On the other hand, the camping spots are quite exposed. We had the only somewhat private site in section C, it was C08.
Beautiful spot in the shoulder season. I would not like to be here peak summer though as 200 campsites is A lot! Nice clean facilities, hot showers, though I imagine not enough bathrooms come summer. Beautiful beach. Only downside is the exposed unserviced sites. But that's the price you gotta pay for ocean front accommodation
Pretty nice, but a bit over rated.
This is our favorite campground ever! Clean bathrooms, beautiful camping spots. We can't wait to go back.
Luv it, great camping
Great except met a few racist people here.
Stayed here the other day with some friends for the Cavendish beach music festival. They have buses that take you from the campground to the festival. It is common knowledge there is going to be alcohol consumed during arguably the biggest music festival in Canada for its time.. Same thing as some other, quietly having a beer in a cup sitting around the picnic table and being harassed constantly by the rangers. No raport building what so ever with these jokes, fined the people next to us and dumped out 20 beer amongst other alcohol and fined them numerous times. Could not even go to the bathroom without them harassing us. An older gentleman was having a beer with his family during a BBQ and they went and dumped out his. A couple of my friends and I had to walk back to the front office to grab some things out of the vehicle since we parked down there to take the bus, they stopped us up and blamed us for going to get more beer, then the younger officer talked to us like we were 3 years old telling us it was time to go to sleep.. Buddy.. I have 3 kids, waited all year for this getaway and the last thing that some punk who is probably younger than me is going to do is tell me to go to sleep. We found out later while we were gone that they had gone to our campsite and were shining flashlights inside of the tents our girlfriends were sleeping in. We filed a formal complaint and are still waiting to hear. The next morning we had gone out for breakfast and coffee and came back to the site, after being back for an hour they came and kicked us out. We had nowhere to stay and had to park in the field by the music festival. We had spoken to the site staff and 6 different RCMP officers who were on patrol and we advised we were going to have to sleep in the vehicle and they had no issues with that other than not to drive out of there. We were tailgating as that is a normal thing to do at these events and they just said keep the booze in cups and they laughed and joked with us everytime they came by, we mentioned the park rangers and they agreed that they were beyond ridiculous.
Awesome campground.
Very nice campground. Run by the federal government so it's held to a higher standard for sure. Would stay here again.
(Translated) Very popular camp, the day I went to coincide with the weekend, there was no room available, I only lived here on the third day. (Original) 很热门的营地,去的当天恰逢周末没有空位,第三天才住到这里。
I gave five stars based on the park as a whole. We stayed in the campground and it was ok. The sights are very tight which surprised me compared to other national parks that I have stayed at. We have walked the campground and chose some sights to try out on another trip. It was coll and raining for part of our trip, it made for some really good wave action. It cleared up and allowed to have a really nice sunset walk on the beach. Looking forward to another trip to Cavendish.
Staff sucks, and the forest guards are disrespectful!
Great campground. Awesome beach, great tourist site. Gorgeous beach. One of the highlights on my east coast trip
Beautiful campground on the ocean.
Beautiful beachfront campsites. Nice wooded campsites. Overall, great. One note that we missed...plan ahead. We ended up camping during the music festival so the place was packed!
Great National Park. Beautiful and peaceful.
Amazing campground with full hookups!
A wonderful experience for camping. One of the most beautiful sites to camp at, with the beach and ocean in clear view of the tent. Site was clean and larger than expected, and the bathrooms and other amenities were clean and easy to access. Recommended for campers of all experience types, an absolutely stunning experience.
(Translated) The place is superb trying to have a lot on the edge of the water but they are without services. Little problem he had renting us a lot already renting to another person (Original) L'endroit est superbe essayer d'avoir un terrain sur le bord de l'eau mais ils sont sans services. We love staying at campgrounds run by Parks Canada. The facilities are some of the best around. All bathrooms were very clean and the showers had hot water and benches to keep your clothes dry. Power outlets in bathrooms were useful. We bought a seasonal park pass and were surprised by how inexpensive it is to camp with a tent before peak season. For a campsite and a bag of wood (which you get to fill as much as you want one time) we paid $28. The workers at the information center were very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips and said if we found our site to be too windy they would switch our site easily. They also gave us advice for restaurants with good seafood in the area. The view overlooking the ocean was incredible. We will be staying here again.
One of our favourite places on our East Coast trip. We planned to stay for one night, and ended up staying for 3. Very nice campground with well maintained facilities. Just a short walk to a gorgeous sandy beach. Walk the beach with the ocean on one side and sand dunes on the other. Go down to the beach at sunset for a great evening.
Great camp group and beautiful scenery
(Translated) Beautiful well landscaped and well maintained campsite, the beach next door is superb, the water was 21 degrees yesterday (Original) Beau camping bien aménagé et bien entretenu, la plage située juste à côté est superbe, l'eau était à 21 degrés hier
Our first and now preferred camping spot in PEI. Amazing campsites to choose from all walking distance from the incredible beach. Washrooms/showers availble all over the campground that make you question if your at a campsite! Friendly courteous staff members that are there to help all around the camp ground. If you don't make a stop over at this place while your traveling through PEI, why even bother going?
Dandy spot to pitch a tent
I absolutely loved this campground. Though the impacts of the hurricane are seen with the lack of old trees, Parks Canada has regrow efforts underway. Lots of clean bathrooms, and very close to trails and the beach. I highly recommend!
(Translated) beautiful place for camping, disappointments today the computer system across the country is not working so impossible to book by phone or even in person. very disappointing public beach (rock jellyfish and algae) (Original) endroit magnifique pour le camping, déceptions aujourd'hui le système informatique a la grandeur du pays de fonctionne pas donc impossible de réserver par téléphone ou même en personne. plage public très décevant (roche méduse et algues)
Beautiful. Immaculate bathrooms. Great beach! Very large treed sites
Cavendish campground was probably one of the nicest Parks Canada campgrounds ive stayed at, even with the recent loss of trees due to the storm a couple years ago. We stayed in an Otentik facing a forest and lake, with the sounds of ocean waves crashing into the shore always present. The bathroom facilities were clean, numerous, and modern. The only thing I would complain about is the lack of cooking tools provided (pots, pans, kettle) as I don't understand why they'd provide plates and cutlery without a way to cook.
Great place to camp-beautiful sunsets
Sunny, chilly day on the beach. ????
Awesome
As you would expect from a national park. It is clean and well maintained. The added cost of park admission is a bit of an annoyence but that is true for any campground within a national park.
Great campground. Very clean and the park staff were very helpful. The bathrooms are brand-new and fantastic.
Great campground and wonderful staff.
This was our first trip to PEI and this campground was fantastic. We brought our pop-up camper and had a site with full hook-ups. The bathrooms were clean and close, there was a playground for the boys and easy access to a great private beach area!
Great spot! Tent sites overlooking the water. Shaded sites with water and electricity. Beach access. Very clean and modern washrooms.
It was OK ,we just found the camp sites too close together there was no privacy at all
Clean campground and washrooms. Great view of the ocean. Privacy is OK but still a great campground overall.
A little crowded but worth it for the nice views and lovely facilities. The beach is also usually pretty quiet. ????
Homestead Trail ❤????????
(Translated) Nice campsite, very easy access to toilets and showers, but the cleanliness of the place could be improved. It would be enough to pass more often to sweep and wash several times a day. It must be said that the volume of use is high.
Great campground
This is a great park. There are a variety of sites and a great beachfront. We had a three way, pull through site, A97. This was a sufficiently roomy site with room for the slide (I recall some warnings regarding some sites being narrow). This site was close to a washroom and the laundromat. The washers were $2 per load and the dryers were $2 to start (but that was sufficient). There were about 6 washers and dryers. They had a pavilion where people could have group meals, it was close to the tent section and I imagine the tent campers use that area mostly. The campground was close to a lot of amenities including entertainment, shopping, Anne of Green Gables, golf and North Rustico.
(Translated) As usual. A beautiful environment, beautiful sites and well maintained facilities. A pleasure to see these beautiful beaches again. (Original) Comme d'habitude. Un bel environnement, de beaux sites et des installations bien entretenues. Un plaisir de revoir ces belles plages.
Dorian destroyed this beautiful campground
Awesome. But windy place
Nice place and wonderful for camping I would recommend it
This is one of my top 3 campgrounds on PEI. Amazing location with lots to do and all the necessary amenities close by. Highly recommend it!!!
The beach is totally awesome..our tent site was like a hundred yards to the beach..some were almost on it. Washrooms could use some work...but overall really nice place to stay with friendly staff! Love PEI
Campground site had no.privacy between sites due to storm from a couple years ago that took out a lot of trees however all kinds of weeds around sites and not kept mowed down properly. Bathrooms and laundry facilities were nice and clean and was close to the quieter end of the beach which we enjoyed the 2 days we were there before deciding to leave.
Absolutely beautiful like everything else on this island.
Very disappointed with my stay at cavendish beach. Not only that I arrived with a very big puddle and no place to put my tent, but I was then harassed less than an hour after my arrival by two forest guards. We were drinking, but not out of alcohol bottles and weren't making any noise. They made us spill everything in our hands, took pictures of our id, threatened my friend's career, had their hand on their gun, gave us 20 minutes for someone to take our alcohol or else they would search our tent and car and take everything. Even later that night, 3 forest guards were guarding our tent and flashing lights at us preventing from us from sleeping. I understand that it was a dry weekend, but this was in no way necessary. The same day and later that same weekend, we saw multiple other people drinking with other forests guards in sight but these strict rules were only applied to us. If your young and planning a relaxing weekend with your friends, this is NOT the place as you will you be a target. 10/10 do not recommend.
Amazing place to go camping. I had the chance to set up my camp just beside the sea with a nice campfire. If you looking for some adventures this is the place for you.
Very nice campground! First time here but wish it was closer because we would certainly be back!
Great place but a few things need correction: bathrooms could be cleaner, poison ivy could be chooped down and those mosquitos...

Great place , great beach , nice staff overall great place for camping
Great campground right on the water. Lots of good facilities and most sites are fully serviced. Beach has a lifeguard and is beautiful. Sites are private as well. We loved this place.
Section A of the campground looks apocalyptic. From what I understand it was destroyed by Hurricane Dorian and while it's understandable, they could have cleaned up the tall grass and redone the landscape with new grass, trees, ect. It really was a disappointing area. We've been to many national parks and that section was a let down. The other sections however were much better, but it was too late for us. Hopefully it's repaired in the future because Cavendish is a beautiful area and we would love to try it again.
The spots right on the beach are lovely.
Love it here.
Grest place to stay with my family
A wonderful place for family camping! We loved it! Heads up: Even-numbered sites in the D30s have the best beachside spots.
Super convenient location, so close to the beach. Clean and well-maintained. Just watch out for poison ivy! It’s everywhere.
This is a rather so so campground on an island that otherwise has such spectacular scenery. It's fairly priced and clean but the beach is kind of boring.
Loved our stay on the 'D' loop. Meter meters from the beach, miles from traffic. Tranquille
(Translated) Heavenly place but book in advance. (Original) Endroit paradisiaque mais réserver à l'avance.
Love walking the beaches
Amazing. Fairly clean. Beautiful area.
Beautiful campground. The bathrooms are very clean. You can have easy access to the beautiful white sand beach. There is a lot of trees between most of the campsites so you have a lot of privacy. The beach is amazing. You can walk 5km to go to the point and 5km to come back. When we were there (aug. 2016) there was not much people on the beach, so it was nice and calm.
0 stars because this campground is a joke. I went camping there and when we got there I was told I had to pay $40 just to get a bracelet and another bunch of money for a thing to put in my car window, and I was not told about this until I got there, not to mention that these prices were not included in the site fee or mentioned anywhere! The staff at the front desk were not very welcoming, and the forest officers were extremely rude. They would drive around the campground and look for someone to bark at. They gave the neighbours fines for drinking and made them spill out their liquor, which was completely over dramatic because they were just quietly drinking by a fire. I felt like I had to be inside my tent just to get privacy from their constant driving around. The campsite I was at was not even mowed and had no shade. There was a bunch of gross weeds growing all around and I could barely get to my electric and water because of the weeds. And don’t even think about bringing your dog, they would be on you so hard about that, you can’t even bring your dog on the beach which is just outrageous. Staying at this place was a complete waste of money and time. Really disappointed with my stay.
A really nice camping ground! The campground my boyfriend and I had was near the beach, and hearing the sound of the waves every morning was fantastic! The bathroom and the laundry are immaculate, and we were amazed about it! The reason I took a star off is because the campgrounds are too close to each other, and you have NO PRIVACY! No tree between campground, no nothing!
Very clean but crowded campground. Be warned if you camp with an ocean view you are within a few feet of other campers on either side. No privacy in these spots. There are also rows of poison ivy between you and the beach which obstructs the views...thus the 4*. The other spots look to be really nice. Showers, restrooms and laundry facilities are all superb. This is a nice campground, the Canadian National Parks are well maintained.
(Translated) Very beautiful beach and sunset (Original) Très belle plage et coucher de soleil
This is my favourite national park campground. They run off season rates about 5$ less than the other national parks we went to and the view is great with sites right by the ocean and beach. Plenty of showers and clean bathrooms. You will never get a better beach camping location for the price then you will here with a parks season pass and a campsite in June.
Beautiful view of the water, staff should provide a better warning for campers when weather is coming in, strong winds led to tents collapsing and many campers having to sleep in their car. Difficult to move site in middle of the night especially with kids.
Excellent spot for family with young children. New and diverse playground with quick access to the bathroom. Wonderful beach access that rivals the main park beach. Beautiful water and sunset views. Lots to do in the parks and nearby in town.
They have done a lot to make accessible to all, and have done it well. Seems like it is newly renovated. Clean and quiet.
Very good place for family vocation! Very nice, clean and comfortable! See attached photos

Loved the campground. Clean and spacious sites. Quiet too.
Great Campground located close to the Beach! Fantastic Sunsets
Beautiful park. Cavendish beach has white sand and is very big. There are lifeguards watching over the roped-in area. The campers beach area is just as nice and was a quick walk from our campsite. The sites were clean and well maintained and ours (in section A) was fairly private. The unserviced sites very close to the beach are not and are wide open to each other, so keep that in mind when booking. The park is very close to the Anne of Green Gables attraction. Was great for the family!
Beautiful camp spot, but need more privacy.
Nice RV sites, full hook-ups, with trees! Very different than most RV campgrounds. Exceptionally clean, modern comfort stations and laundry facilities. Beautiful beaches and coastal dunes.
Nice clean affordable and very fun ????
(Translated) Very nice campsite, the land by the sea should be avoided in a tent in case of strong winds ... (Original) Tres beau camping, les terrains en bord de mer sont à éviter en tente en cas de fort vents...
I didn't like this campground as much as Stanhope campground
My family and I really enjoy this campground. The beach views are great whether it be the sunrise or sunset. It is very central to all of PEI. We camp with a camper so we get the sites with full service. Some sites are just huge! Would like to see something done with the pee-gravel at the sites. I guess I see why its there; better then mud if it rains, however... it gets everywhere :) The bathrooms that were in our area we very clean (we were on site 46). Definitely recommend this campground if you visit PEI.

Pretty good experience overall. Staff were great, installation were very clean and well maintened. It is also a very nice park in general, the camping being so close to the beach. Only downside is that the site are pretty small et very close to each other in some sections. The ones by the sea doesnt offer any trees. But they are all very clean and maintened.
Nice place
So sad, so much destruction from Hurricane Dorian
(Translated) Very nice place and very clean (Original) Très bel endroit et très propre
Camped with 2 adults, 2 children in a tent trailer. Had a generous sized lot, that was not too close to others. Facilities were clean and updated in the section we were in. It was great to walk to the beach from our site. We enjoyed our stay. Second time we had a smaller site but it was still a little bit private and we enjoyed that stay as well. Much better than 2 other private campgrounds we stayed at on the Island. Our second fav place to trailer on PEI
Clean facilities. Cheap laundry 3 bucks a load washed and dried. Sites are big. Beach is glorious at sunrise. Really enjoyed our stay here. We will be back.

Very nice beautiful setting.
Amazing facilities with great views Got the tent space very close to beach during the busy fest time Minimal charge and phenomenal experience
Tents should not be permitted with RV's when there is no privacy between campsites.
Tenting sites as close as you can possibly get to the beach. Windy, as there are few trees. Heated bathrooms with clean showers.
(Translated) We've been going there for five years and it's still great. (Original) Ça fait cinq ans que nous y retournons et c'est toujours aussi super.
Nice sites, new bathrooms and showers and a beautiful beach!
Car camping is great, basically created a pillowtop mattress in the tent, bathrooms are super clean and modern, and park staff aren't too up in your wilderness business. The fire pits aren't great (almost like deep steel barrels) so I wouldn't bank on cooking on the open fire. I suppose they don't want to burn down a national park so the ???? has to be well contained. We camped right along the beach.. pretty neat stuff this here Canadian wilderness!
Great campground.....great view....clean love this place.
Nice sites.
fun place to camp
Beautiful spot! Amazing sunset and sunrises! Fantastic beach with lifeguards. Camping spots are on the smaller side, and washrooms needed more attention (running out of supplies, etc) but the natural beauty more than makes up for the small inconveniences.
Spectacular campground. Props to Parks Canada. Had everything one could need and more, including fantastic hikes. I recommend not doing the D campsites that are right along the water. There is no shade, no trees, and no blocking of wind. Anything past D050 should have all those though. All are still very close to washroom and beach and potable water
(Translated) Very nice campsite Well-maintained sites and ultra-clean toilets (Original) Tres beau camping Sites bien entretenus et toilettes ultrapropres
Best beach ive ever been too! The sand is red! Theres sandstone you can walk on! VERY long beach too! Strongly recommend if your going on a trip in PEI with your family!
Great camp ground
This place is the best.
Beautiful!!
Nice park, no privacy, way to expensive for what you get. So nothing less than what you would expect from something run by the government.
Nice but busy (it's National Park!). This is the busiest campground on PEI. We had a nice quiet spot at the back (A11) for 8 nights. We had originally booked 14 but decided to stay elsewhere as well. Our site wasn't like the pictures, as there are less trees now for some reason. But it was quiet and further back then most of the ones beside it. Next time I would book in the core (middle) area in where there are more trees and for the most part a bit more privacy. If privacy is not your thing, book one of the spots close to the beach. The beach is very beautiful and also busy. Brackley Beach is a little less busy (or any other beach on the island for that matter).
Great location only problem parks signs hard to find
Great camgroynd
Prince Edward Island Cavendish area National park beautiful sand duned beaches on the Gulf of St Lawrence side of the Island. The campground has some 50A sites but only 30A with full hookup for larger RV'S. The campsites are large with trees providing privacy. Reservations are available online with empty spots easier to find after labour day. The campground has direct access to the beaches for great sunset walks. The homestead bicycle or walking trail is a fun route through the shoreline wetlands bays and farmland. The paved two lane trail all the way to the Nort Rustico beach is a scenic delight with lits of pull off areas like Orby point.
Great place to camp no portapotty's and very clean bathrooms. The big beach and different events were also enjoyed by my family.
Awesome place to stay!
Beautiful, clean campground right on the beach. The D loop campsites are very open with no trees or privacy but right next to the water. Other loops have more privacy
This was a great campground right by a long stretch of sand dune bordered beach. The drive thru rv sites with hookups and electric were nicely set u
Incredible time had at this campground. Served as ideal spot to anchor our stay on PEI as we made daily tours to various locales on the island. Walking the beach was exquisite.

We had an ocean view site. Very nice campground with good amenities. Great sunsets.
A lovely campground with a super staff and access to the ocean. Awesome sunsets when it is clear!
(Translated) Magnificent environment, well wooded. Campsite a few steps from the sea. Large grounds surrounded by trees. Very clean toilets and showers but do not stay that way for long as many campers are not careful. The beach is very beautiful and very pleasant for the donut.
Great park but they dont enforce dogs on leash as our was attacked and nothing done about it

Beautiful campground!
Stayed Aug 27th - 30th Pros: very clean facilities, very friendly staff, very cheap ice and firewood, very close to a lot of activities north of the island, most of the sites are serviced so easy access to electrical outlet and water, great spot for camper cars/trailers, AWESOME beach and dune trails Cons: this is primarily catered to camper cars/trailers, the ground is too gravelly for tents if you are doing tent camping make sure to get a site with forest floor, because there will be alot of camper cars/trailers those looking for an outdoor woody experience will be disappointed Summary: the pros and cons will be conversely dependent on if you're camping with a tent or camper car/trailer
Awsome and great for family
Took a beating from the hurricane
Very nice campground without all those campy kids attractions that usually attracts the rowdy crowd. If you go for unserviced spots, i recommend the forested sights as they have some shade, less wind, and are a little more private. The bathroom block is cleaned daily. Dogs are allowed anywhere but on the beach, which is the only downside to the place. You need to factor in the park access cost to the camping fee. It was 20$ per person for a seven day park pass which gives you access to the 2 other federal parks on the island.
Its pretty wet, but thats a weather thing, friendily staff, but a liquor ban puts a damper on things, also they charge you extra fees for everything multiple different bracelets you need at 30-40 dollars a pop per person that are non replaceable if accidently broken. Definitely an example of the government being greedy again. Sites could be better maintained. Over all it serves its purpose of a place too sleep.
