I have been calling non stop for a week now about my 4 month old. This is absoloutely ridiculous that no one out of the 20+ times I've called over the span of 7 days has been able to answer a phone.

My original doctor retired and Dr. Misra took over and I couldn’t be happier! The reception staff can be hit or miss but I’ve never had an issue with any of the doctors or nurses. Very kind and give a high level of care!

Called for an appointment for my son this morning at 8:00 when phone lines opened. Had to wait for 5 minutes. By 8:10 am I had an appointment scheduled for 2 days later with my family doctor. Have also had a lot of luck getting in the same day after 4 pm with the after hours clinic. Dr. Aurora is amazing and is always thorough and caring with his patients. I have had nothing but good experiences here.

If I could give zero I would. It seems that I'm not the only one who has had issues with prescriptions not being re-filled. Sent a prescription in in October to renew my birth control pill so it was ready for me in November. Stood at the pharmacy and WATCHED the lady send my request for refills out and get the confirmation. I went this weekend (Now NOVEMBER) to go pick up my prescription that should have been re-filled a month ago only for the pharmacy to tell me that they did not receive a refill. Called Grandview only to deal with one of the RUDEST people I have EVER dealt with (some British Nurse) And for her to tell me it's MY fault and my responsibility. As far as I'm concerned I held up my end of the deal A MONTH AGO. After all of this Dr. Mizra left a snarky message for me saying how I should "keep on top of things". The nurse also told me my pharmacy LIED to me when I had PROOF that the request went through on their end. I have been dealing with this kind of garbage from this clinic for twenty-five freaking years. There's no wonder why they have such a bad reputation and every pharmacy I've went to just laughs when I say I'm with Grandview. I work in telecommunications, and if I talked to someone the way that nurse spoke to me today, I'd be fired. Grandview Medical Center doesn't take responsibility for ANY of their actions and thinks it's ok to be rude to their patients. This may actually be the breaking point to finding a new clinic, and going through the effort of finding a new family doctor because this is just unbelievable.

I have been going to this doctors office since I was 2 years old. Dr. Main is an amazing doctor and has helped me so much with my health issues, always listens to my concerns, and goes above and beyond. My experience tonight with the on call dr, Dr.Walker was amazing. She took the time to listen and do a thorough examination of my son and actually done something about my son being sick. My son was sick for 4 weeks and Dr.Walker took the time to listen and help me with my son and finally gave my son some prescriptions to help with his sickness. I wanted to cry and hug her. The nurse that was also working tonight was so helpful and nice, and I am sorry I couldn't get your name but I would like to thank you for the amazing service as well! Keep up the amazing service!

I hurt my back and have now spent the week waiting for call-backs and to talk to a physician to get a prescription for the pain. I have been told by various people at Grandview that there is nothing that can be done even though I have been a patient for many years. The service on the 'phone is simply abominable. I love my family doctor Shazia Alavi and other doctors I have seen and some of the staff but I think the service of the clinic should be improved. You call for an appointment, they tell you to call the nurse later on to see the evening doctor. You stay on the line for more than 30 minutes only to be told they are full. Then they make a phone call appointment with my doctor for next day. The music you have to listen to for such a long time is just horrible. Very dissapointed, I won't call again after hours.

Called me telling me to come in for blood work in 2 weeks, and an ultrasound in a week and a half , asked if I should call ultrasound sound in a week and a half and was told not to do that to just wait for a call. 3 weeks no call from ultrasound, would have called earlier if I wasn't told not to. I call referral and they say the nurse never sent the referral ! Was very important I got the ultrasound when I was suspost to . Thanks to the lady at the referral for fixing everything for me , don't understand why important ultrasound aren't taken seriously and forgotten about by the nurse, didn't give me any information about the ultrasound or blood work and where to pick up the papers for blood work , I asked if I just went to the lab and they would have them and she said yes , later found out I need to go to the nurses station to pick up the papers! Kind of ridiculous, really disappointed in the nurses they never give good advice or information.

I cannot understand the negative comments. I have never had a problem booking an appointment, everyone at the reception area and nurses’ station are welcoming and very accommodating, and Dr. McMurrich is excellent. Yes, my appointments might start late, but I take that to mean that proper attention is being given to the patients. And I have never felt rushed during my appointments.

It's a good doctor's office, if you can actually get a hold of someone. Like this is seriously so ridiculous. You would think after years and years of never being able to reach the appointment desk that they would hire another friggin receptionist or something. You can call ANY time of the friggin day and you are guaranteed to have a wait time. It's 2pm in the afternoon on a friggin Tuesday and there are 13 callers ahead of me. Figure it the heck out and hire another friggin phone person??? I don't understand why they have yet to fix such simple problems!!!

Dreadful. Been there my whole life. Used to be too shelf, now I can't get an appointment for weeks. Prepare to wait, possibly be forgotten. They have left me with 3 kids for hours and hours. Pretty much useless to me, I've stopped trying anymore. Go somewhere good. Long winded telephone menus about changes they are making a year ago.

Im so sad and upset that after being a patient here for 40 years my entire family has been so calously turfed as they could not find a replacement for my doctor who retired 7 months ago and no other doctor's at the clinic are willing to take more patients or even put us on a waiting list. I think they should be ashamed of how they are treating patients some of which really need care for certain conditions. It seems they just said, tough luck and did not consider any special needs. So very wrong. Also they want $50 for our records! Last year they lost all our records which is just awful especially for people who may have had had many ongoing issues. I had decent care while a patient although getting an appointment was sometimes difficult. I'm so sad and disappointed that the board chose this path. It's hurtful and distressing.

I've been a patient here my whole life, and not until my doctor was replaced did I have more issues than ever. It does not seem that Grandview Medical's certain employees are not very courteous in patient treatment. I am super disappointed with this office and am not surprised it has such low ratings. Long appointments, they never see you at the time was set up for same appointment, you get there you have to wait between 1 hour to 2 hours to see the doctor, have no idea what's the point of making app for certain hours, super slow intaking patients!!!

This place is absolutely terrible. My sister has been trying to get an appointment for 2 months now. She needs to come in and PHYSICALLY see the doctor, but they only have appointments available over the phone even though she already talked to the doctor on the phone a month ago. Then she called the office again and the receptionist said she has to make another phone call if she wants to be able to come in. And she has to wait 3 weeks to talk to the doctor over the phone! This is ridiculous! This place is supposed to be a family doctors office and my sister can't even see her family doctor. Please dont ever EVER EVER come here ever. If I could rate this place in negative stars, I would. I'm so glad we're moving away soon so we can find a doctor better than this stupid place.

I spoke to Healthcare Connect this morning to find a new Dr. because my last one closed their practice and didn't notify anyone. I discovered this Dr. took over my patient files and I had no idea this ever happened. Never received a call or email to confirm or reach out to me in any regards. Judging by the reviews, I dodged a bullet here. Stay away. Edit: I forgot to mention that Healthcare Connect told me my Patient Status with this Doctor was also cancelled after being transferred to them. Not only was he responsible for me as a patient, he just cancelled my status without ever letting me know about it.

Unreal. I've had high blood pressure for five days. I called last week for an appointment and after holding forever to even get them to answer the phone, was told the earliest was "next week on Monday for a phone appointment". Fine. She then asks, "do you feel like you can wait until then?". Well, I don't know. I've never had high blood pressure. Do you think I can wait? She then says "maybe you should speak to the nurse. I then wait on hold forever once again. The nurse ask the usual questions and says I better send the doctor a message. One of us will call you back. That was last week. Haven't heard from anyone. No messages left for me, no calls answered by me. Nothing. And the scheduled appointment by phone, never happened either. So not only did they not call back last week like they said, they also didn't call for the prearranged appointment time. And they wonder why the hospital emergency department is full all the time. So, still with high blood pressure for one week now. What good is free health care when it's not available? Side note: I really like the doctor I have there. But this facility is poorly managed with poorly trained staff. And maybe understaffed even. Look at the reviews. Someone needs to step up and revamp this place.

The front end staff need some training on how to respond and speak to clients. I mean if you hate your job that much quit, don't take it out on the people who are calling, I get that it can be frustrating but it's not good customer relations to be rude when someone calls to book an appointment. On the other hand the handful of nurses I have seen and a few of the doctors are amazing.

My family doctor dr walker is a fantastic and caring physician, however, the nurses there really need to be retrained and not be so rude. I have called twice this week in order to speak about my pregnancy which needs to be monitored by my doctor immediately as my last one was ectopic. They were so incredibly rude and insensitive that I cried both times speaking to them. The first time i spoke to Vicky and I was refused blood work and told to go to emerge, which resulted in 6 hrs wait for blood work, which could have been done that same day without me waiting in emerge. The second time I called to relay a message to my doctor since no one thinks it's an emergency to inform Her of my condition. Again I was treated poorly and told what I felt was not strong enough to be ectopic and then given further advice on what ectopic feels like..I'm not sure if this woman has ever experienced one but I have! She belittled me and made me feel stupid. She then proceeded to tell me that if it were ectopic that it would have been caught on the ultrasound in emerge, which is really a joke since I ruptured at 8 weeks last time even though I had several ultrasounds. I am Extremely angry at how I have been treated.

Very unprofessional practice. Very rude to their patients & Nearly impossible to get into. They Love to make a big deal about you being 5 minutes late but will have you waiting 30mins for the doctor to actually come out and get you. At 1 point I asked if going to a walk-In was an option for what I was seeking since it’s hard to get in with them & Had the doctor tell me I would be blacklisted & it would become twice as hard for me to get in. Again, very unprofessional. They’ve also lost all patient files at 1 point which is not acceptable in my eyes seeing as that’s peoples health and well-being. The latest and greatest; they have kicked out ALL patients under the care of a retiring doctor leaving many people hanging regardless of how long they’ve been with them. & to make matters worse, they are trying to charge these ex-patients a fee to recover their files.

My doctor is wonderful (Maheshwari) however when you call in to the nurse station, or referral clerk.. be prepared for them to be down right rude, and not helpful in the slightest bit. This office is getting worse all the time. My granddaughter who lives in Brantford had an appointment with the on call doctor as she would have to wait till the end of Nov to see her family doctor. She was in a lot of pain & has been to the hospital as well as missing work due to the pain. Her appoint. was for 2:45 we arrived 3 minutes late due to road diversions & the making of a movie film. When she went to check in she was told she was late & they checked with the doctor who was to see her, the doctor said he was not going to see her as she was late we spoke to a nurse at the nurses window who was quite nasty with us & also told us the doctor would not see her. (if you arrive early for your appoint you can be left waiting for half an hour before being seen to) Its time the service improves & the people come first.

Been my doctors office for years and each year just gets worse and worse. You can never get in with your doctor, next appts are always a week away. They never want to book you wirh the “on call” doctor. Everyone you speak to is incredibly rude. The wait time is always 45 mins or longer. My prescriptions are never faxed to the pharmacy like they say it was, I have to keep calling to them to remember to fax it. My results are never sent to the appropriate doctors or hospitals, again I’m repeatedly calling and calling to get them to send my info over. I feel as if every time I walk in I am such an inconvenience with them. Looking for a new doctors office.

I had been a patient at Grandview medical over 35 years and in all that time, only once, did I hear what sounded to me as a curt response from a receptionist. I figured she was just having a bad day, just as anyone can on occasion. As for Dr. Sunjay Gupta, I found him to be caring, compassionate, and he would explain how Atrial fibrillation works, or other medical issue, so that I could have a better idea of what I was dealing with. He did not stare at the computer screen while speaking but sat facing me. I knew he had my best health interests at heart and I have much respect for him. He is a very good doctor and I have always been very comfortable with him. I no longer live in the region so I have no choice about having to get a new doctor even though Dr. Gupta was willing to keep me as his patient. I have just found a new doctor in the Halton Region and he seems very nice and I expect, and hope, I will be as comfortable with him as I was with Dr.Gupta. I think I probably will as I get to know him. I have only met him once so far. I appreciate all doctors for their long hours, not just in the clinic, but in the hospital, time for CME's, and their paperwork they must do. We only see them in the office. We do not know most of the other obligations they have to fulfill. They also have families they want to share time with. In my opinion, these days they are the worst treated by the government and the Canadian Medical Association of Physicians and Surgeons. They need our prayers, not our criticism. God bless them all!

This place is an absolute joke. Every time I call, I either cannot get an appointment or I can't get one for weeks. I called to get my son in (who is not even 2 years old) and got an appt with a doctor that is not even mine, it's another doctor helping her. We live in Woodstock and I run a home daycare so after making a 35-40 minute drive there we were a couple minutes late and they would not take us. The lady at the desk was extremely rude and had no consideration at the drive we took to get there or that the appointment was for a child. There was only one person in the waiting room so it is not like they were extremely busy by any means. I will now never go back there. I will go to walk in clinics and hospitals before I ever take my son there again. They are absolutely no help, I do not recommend anybody going there, especially if you have kids!!!

Their staff is really rude, I get the impression that they hate their job or just don't like helping others. I have called few times and eveytime they talk rudely. You get an appointment date weeks or even month after. I will be looking for a different clinic very soon. Disappointed!!

Updated to say that Dr. Sefin who replaced Dr.Trudell is absolutely amazing, he always listens to my concerns and makes sure I feel comfortable. To explain my one start rating; The nurses and counter staff are rude/standoffish. I understand this is not a customer service position but you should at least treat your patients with basic respect. I truly can't believe this kind of behaviour is acceptable in this setting.

I went to my doctor with wrist pain. Was referred to hospital for xray. I went immediately and it took 3 weeks for grand view to call me back wih results . I was told I have a fracture and an abnormality in my wrist. I was asked if I would like more imaging done so I said yes. I then asked if I should go to the hospital. The nurse told me " well how much does it hurt " I then took my appt. For a CT scan witch I completed immediately. I've been waiting almost a week now for results so I called. After a returned call I was told that the doctor would look at them in a few days and get back to me. I explained to the nurse that I work construction and cannot wait for the doctor to have time and this needs to be dealt with. Still waiting and now have been working heavy labour with a fractured and hurt wrist for over a month

This is the most incompetent doctor's office I have ever been to. The nurse at the front desk is rude and honestly not helpful. The system the have for communication between nurse and doctor is unrealiable, slow and a waste of time. I have been waiting for over a week for the doctor to respond to a message so I can get blood work for a job. Today I went to a walk-in clinic for that because the doctor still didn't reply to a nurse message. Ever single time I go here it a problem ! AVIOD AT ALL COST!!!

This is an excellent medical clinic. It's an extremely busy place but the doctors and staff I find are very accommodating and do there very best to look after their patients. I recently used the ultrasound, xray and lab. Everyone was friendly and professional. I particularly hate having blood work done but the nurse did a great job of keeping me relaxed. These people work hard and deserve our thanks!

I have been a patient here my whole life. Recently I have taken ill and needed their services more consistently than ever. It took a MONTH to fill out a page of paperwork at their office, after emailing it in to them and following up several times it was finally completed. I was then told that even though they can email, I must go physically into the office, during a pandemic, to retain said paperwork. However, that was not the breaking point. After booking an appointment 3 weeks ago now, the day came and went when I expected the doctors call and I waited on hold for 20 minutes the next day looking for an explanation as to why my appointment was missed. Whomever I spoke to originally those weeks ago did not submit my appointment. When I asked to be prioritized because it was their error not mine, I was firmly told it cannot be done. They can’t amend their own error? I was told to call back EVERY DAY and hope for an opening as my best bet. The last few appointments I have had, they refuse to even give me a rough estimate of the time frame the doctor will call (I.e morning, afternoon, evening). I was told “people get upset when the doctor doesn’t stick to it”. So I have wasted entire days waiting by my cell phone for a doctors call, as they cannot provide the simplest customer service effort of a rough time-frame estimate for a call to be expected. Currently I am waiting on MORE paperwork and the recipients of said paperwork are getting tired of excuse after excuse while I hunt these people down to do the basics of their job. Not to mention the fact that in the last 2/3 months the soonest appointments have been weeks out. Absolutely deplorable administrative service in all aspects. Furthermore, it appears their technology is stuck in 1995, which is ridiculous considering the fees I’ve paid to them for simple things. I have been searching for a new doctor since, and hope to be off their patient list ASAP. I strongly advise against this office. You will receive nothing but sub par service and be treated like a moronic inconvenience.

You miss your apartment by 5min and its canceled! as if the doc would take you in right on time. What's 5 minutes really? It's near impossible for a working person to get appointments in the first place. Great job and thanks for caring about your patients! Thankfully it wasn't a life threatening problem but who know's? I'm not a doctor and that's why I made an appointment! Guess I'll have to wait forever again to get in! Hopefully it's not life threatening!

If i could give Dr. Misra a zero star i would. Upon making requests to have certain tests done considering MY HEALTH he refused to write a requisition. He took over for Dr. Monkhouse who literally delivered me so I had him for 35 years. Very unimpressed by our first interaction and will be looking for a new family Dr.

The decline in services from 30 years ago to now for working people is appalling. This centre has one purpose: high flow of new immigrants and non-working people to generate revenue. If you work, and have limited hours and don't need a doctor often, but you have the flue, cold or other ailment, you are at the back of the bus for treatment. Where are the rights for working Canadians to receive preferential treatment so you can generate tax dollars for those who do not contribute? It certainly is not at Grandview Medical Centre.

My family doctor is at this clinic. The clinic itself overall is decent and I do like my family doctor when I get the opportunity to actually see him. The phone service is atrocious. The people in charge of phones and booking appointments really need to be retrained. The attitude is appalling. They are always rude and make you feel like you're the biggest inconvenience of their day when you call.

The service has defiantly gone down hill. I try my hardest to avoid this place as its more of a pain then anything. They don't care about there patients, only the money coming in. Next time i'll just be using urgent care.

I was a patient at Grandview for 20 years with Dr Alix Young. She was retiring and was unable to provide a replacement and all of her patients were tossed out of The Grandview Practise telling us to find a different Dr in a different practice. I felt abandoned like thrown out like the trash We were asked to pay $50 for our medical records. I I sent a cheque the next day On Oct 29/18 I picked up records and was told that my money would be refunded and thus far I have not recieved the $50. I found the whole incedent unprofessional and disrespectful. I still feel disrespected and want my money back I hope by posting this that the story gets noticed and I get an apology and the money that was a strain on my OAS limited income. Disgusting !

The place is the worst!!!! When you are diabetic need a appointment..call in the morning to be told that your doctor is full for the day and to call back after hours clinic to get an appointment. I do that call at 4:02 get hung up on 6 times and when I finally get though at 4:22 .. the very very very rude nurse said they were full. Are you kidding me??? Worst service ever. This clinic needs a new system really bad because the one they have sucks so bad.!!!!

Computers have been down since march 30???? I am a supervisor, I would have said by now if who ever is in charge , get with it or i will find someone who can I cant see my doctor because of this or get a prescription refill Nice. Dont go there go else where

The nurse Vicki is the absolute worst nurse I have ever spoken to. Extremely rude, insensitive, inconsiderate and incapable of speaking to patients with respect. Clinic needs to hire better nurses or better train them. Also need a better system for appointments. Nearly impossible to get an appointment when you need it.

I have been going to this clinic for 15 years. The only reason we stay is because we love Dr. Walker. The staff and nurses are less then helpful and consistently rude. The changes they made to the "on call" doctor is completely useless when trying to book an appointment for our kids when they are actually sick. We end up at the walk in more often then not. If not for Dr. Walker we would be looking elsewhere.

Dr. C is very rude and constantly talks down to his younger patients during appointments. My partner and her sibling leave feeling discouraged and unheard. Unfortunately it is difficult to find a new doctor but we are certainly trying. Dr.C tells his patients to never go to a walk in clinic because it affects HIS pay! I would suggest avoiding this self serving man.

Just applied for life insurance and was told to contact my doctor immediately about concerns they found in my blood. I gave it 2 days and call naturally and grand view said they havnt received any faxes since last January for any patients. I was concerned for my health and asked if I should have more blood taken and the staff told me the doctors won't do anything until they know what to look for and hung up

Getting a proper INR req. for my husband to take out of town was a disaster. I had to make all sorts of phone calls to get an INR req. to use, and make a second 1/2 hour trip to the lab there once the correct req. was faxed to them. My husband had made a special trip to Grandview to get the req. in the first place, and it was WRONG. Not impressed.

Not been able to get a dr appointment in years. I've been sick, gotten shingles, found lipoma and collapsed lung. Some of these things could have easily been found with a dr appointment. I can't even call and get advice promptly. I find most people are rude over the phone. I have not seen my family dr in probably 3 years and anytime something's wrong I end up having to go to emerg. Not sure if it's understaffed or they're just underpaid and don't give a crap about their patients.

I called my pharmacy 3 days ago to fill my prescription, they faxed Grandview to get a refill monday AM, I went to my pharmacy on Tuesday to pick up and they tried to charge me for the pharmacist writing my prescription as Grandview wasn't getting back to them... I told the pharmacist I was not going to pay this fee ($30) and then drove to Grandview to try and get my prescription as at this point I have no medication left. The lady at the desk was not understanding and just shrugged her shoulders at me when I explained that I have no medication left and my pharmacy cannot reach them. I was told there system is down and there's nothing she can do...I asked if there system was down yesterday when the fax was sent and it was not ..just today.. I left and then tried to call and was told to go online to their site and make a complaint... i tried this and could not find anywhere to leave a complaint..so this brings me here... I am a mom... I have two small babies and i have just spent the last hour driving across town to get my medication that I rely on and still do not have it...this is very frustrating and unprofessional. I have been a patient here since i was born and have never been treated this way by the staff before. I am still without them.. unsure of who to contact or how to get my medication.

I’m going to try really hard to switch medical centres. I can never get in to see my actual doctor, it takes months. I was supposed to have an appointment today (wed oct 31) and they said it was for yesterday. However I called on Monday to confirm my appointments and even repeated the day and number of the day back to the receptionist and she confirmed it back to me, and I wrote it down. Now I have to wait a week for their mistake. I’ve also previously asked (over the phone) to find help for something I needed info on, about my medical records from a previous date. They said they’d call back and tell me my answer and I still haven’t received a call. That was 3 months ago. I’m done with the incompetency of this place and their staff. Stay away from this place if you can and heed all warnings from the lower star reviews.

I was called by Grandview to have an additional blood test done and to pick up the requisition at the Nurse's Station. Two days later I turned up at 1215h. to find the Nurse's Station closed until 1300h Nobody else could get the requisition for me. By the time I found out, my ride had left so I had to wait. At 12:30 another patient arrived for a requisition and was told the same thing. She was also upset as she had driven quite a distance to the clinic. Fortunately someone beyond the glass barrier arrived at 1250h and printed the requisition for me and I was seen almost immediately at Life Lab downstairs. Please make sure the person making the initial phone call tells the patient that they will not be able to pick up a requisition between 1200h and 1300h. Thank you

My Name Montasser Saad Dr. Anil saw me for the Wednesday Sept 11 and I had such an excellent experience! he saved my eye! he was able to find the problem right away was (Retinal Detachment) and sent me to the emergency hospital and arranged with them he took the time to answer all my questions. There aren't enough words to thank him and his staff. They are the best. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Alexandra Pennell is my family doctor, and I couldn't be happier with the clinic. All the staff are very professional and helpful. I've always been able to book an appointment in a timely manner, and have been great offered options when my GP is unavailable. Sometimes the wait time calling in is long, BUT THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED. THEY'RE A BUSY CLINIC AND IT'S A PANDEMIC. A big thank you to everyone who deals with all the cranky patients.
