The staff is very delightful. I love how helpful my pelvic doctor is she goes above and beyond to help me with my needs. My physiotherapist (Christine) is also very thorough in asking questions and answering any questions I have. She has helped me with my lower back pain (exercises, taping my lower back, using correct pregnancy belt) helped me how to use the washroom less in the night or not at all, pelvic pain (massage), perineal massage before going into labour, and preparing me for labour. And much more! I absolutely loved the soothing massage she gave on my pelvic muscles. It made me feel so relaxed! ???? I am so happy with the results and everytime I can't wait to get to my appointments and get the help I need for a healthy me! Thank you!!!

While we are still trying to get to the bottom of it, Dr Hall has been incredibly thorough in trying to understand the problem and conduct tests to figure out the cause. Easily the best sports med/physio clinics in Waterloo Region. I’ve been treated at all 3 locations over past 15 years for various sports/activity-related injuries – shoulder, knees, lower back. They’ve always gotten me back to 100%. Now my kid being treated there for basketball-related knee pain, my teenage nephew also got specialized post-concussion treatment at GRSM. My elderly mother was being treated at an OHIP clinic for sciatic nerve pain with no results, was hobbling around on a cane; I took her to GRSM Cambridge and now cane is in the closet, she’s back at her exercise classes. Should be 5-star google rating, but they received some 1-star complaints about appointment scheduling and problems with insurance billing (but not about treatment). Sort of like giving a great restaurant a bad review because you couldn’t get the table you wanted or your credit card didn’t go through when you tried to pay for your meal.

I never post reviews but this clinic deserves a single star. After a misdiagnosis of a nerve injury as a muscle injury and no sign of improvement after several weeks, I got a second opinion elsewhere and began rehabilitation. Go to different clinic.

Dr. Trevor Hall and his team are outstanding! I feel lucky and grateful to be able to have access to a specialist for Sports Medicine of Dr. Hall's caliber. He is attentive, listens to your concerns, and develops a pathway to care for all sports medicine concerns. Dr. Hall is extremely knowledgeable and will listen to any question, and is very thorough in his examinations. Grand River Sports Medicine is very organized and able to get concerns looked at quickly and subsequent follow ups or ordering of imaging are also efficient. They also have onsite physio and a team of specialists for post or pre surgery or rehab. Excellent facility!

Found the staff and doctor I saw to be very professional. Paid attention to my health concerns and took a lot of notes as I was listing out my issues. Did not jump to a diagnosis just based on first visit and sent me to get further testing done. The facility itself is quite large and even though I haven't been here more than once, it seemed like they've all the equipment one might need to recover from an injury. All the equipment appeared to be well maintained and state of the art.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Stefano Bozzo for chiropractic help and he’s been fantastic. Very holistic approach and makes everything super understandable. Adjustments and exercises and great. A smart doctor at a great facility! I also highly recommend Craig Dixon for physiotherapy. He did some great work fixing my knee pain and is also super holistic and smart. Nicest guy too! (They both are) Definitely check out GRSM if you live in the KWC area and want to optimize your wellness!

I would recommend this place for anyone who sustained a sports injury as my experience with them has been great. Dr. Hall is very knowledgeable and was quick to prescribe imaging for my knee, as well as the necessary referrals. Christine is a great physio and I loved working with her. She gave me her full attention and time while I was there. I did not feel like she was rushing through her clients just to maximize turnover, unlike my old physio (different clinic). I would definitely recommend her for anyone needing physio.

I overheard about GRSM while getting my hair done! I have had extreme pain in my knees since 2015, limited mobility and unable to cope without strong pain killers. I live in a 4 level house and have been restricted to the top two floors for 4 years- I changed my work schedule to allow a rest day mid week and had been thinking when will a need my knee replaced- surgeon had said I was too young but left me without answers and struggling. Told to lose weight which would help take strain off knees but with so much pain my ability to shop, cook never mind exercise was nil. I met with Dr Hall in February 2019 and laid out what I have been dealing with. He took the time to listen to me, he empathized with the frustration I was dealing with and then he presented some comprehensive solutions - bracing specialist, physio, topical pain medication and injections. I immediately felt like I met the right Dr to help me. After reading through the information and homework package I decided that injections was the pathway and he injected my knees March 26th 2019. Within 5 days I was able to carry my own laundry down to the basement of my house! Over the past month I have lost 10lbs because I have been able to move without pain- because Dr Hall listened to me I haven’t needed to take pain killers multiple times a day and actually feel like along with healthy eating and exercise, having Dr Hall in my corner has improved my life 100%. Thank you to Dr Hall and his amazing team.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident and one of my legs was broken. After the surgery I came to this place and here Nicolas was taking care of me. Nicolas is an amazing friendly guy full of live and very professional. He helped me to get back on my feet in 2 months. I recommend anyone Nicolas. I suffered a Grade 2 torn hamstring while playing hockey. I could barely walk and was in great pain. I wanted to return to hockey as soon as possible but I soon realized 6-8 weeks of physiotherapy lay ahead. Kevin and his team at Grand River Sports Medicine went right to work. Right from the first assessment, Kevin put together an amazing rehab program, was encouraging and so positive. Each session demanded more and more of me physically in a gradual approach to that had brought my hamstring back and stronger than ever in 5 weeks. I visited Dr Hall for a issue with my shoulder. I was unable to move my arm with out great pain. After I seen Dr Hall he gave me a cortisone injection into my shoulder. With in a few days I was able to move my arm with out a lot of pain. Dr Hall was very informative. He was kind and gentle with the injection. The front office staff were very nice and helpful . Dr Hall’s nurse is a very nice and caring nurse. I would highly recommend Grand River Sports Medicine to anyone that has issues with knees, shoulder or any other joint problems. Can't recommend this place enough. Went to physio after an injury that didn't heal right. Took the time to listen and very knowledgeable. They arent afraid to get the input of others when stuck. Ended up seeing Dr Hall who was amazing. Great manners and got me an MRI within a week. Saw another physio and her boss to help. All very professional, listened and believed my pain. I had a doc somewhere else who didn't believe my pain and failed to diagnose that my foot was actually broken before so this place was a breathe of fresh air. Everyone I met was kind, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile.

The staff is young, knowledgeable and totally invested in getting their patients back to whatever level of rehab is reasonable. Recently, I have been in rehab from a complete shoulder replacement. I was fortunate to get connected with Dana. She has been so reassuring and competent in her treatment. A tough rehab but I have total faith in the path Dana is directing me . I’ve watched others getting treatment for a variety of reasons and would totally recommend GRSM for any and all physio care.

I adore this clinic! My physiotherapist, Kevin, has been an absolute god send! He quickly diagnosed my Myofascial issues along my neck and scapula which has landed me in the ER over a dozen times and none of the ER docs caught that. Within minutes of meeting Kevin, he was able to locate the area that was causing severe pain, massive headaches and vomiting. I also have extensive spinal problems, including a bilateral fracture in my lower back, which has been causing spasms across my back and Kevin has very careful in that regard which is so thoughtful! Thank you so much for making this clinic more inclusive for patients like me, I truly appreciate it!

Waited 20 minutes into appintnment time. When asked one of the several front desk women she very rudely said “yeah the appointment is for 9 but he’s busy so...” lets be honest, you could always apologize for the dr and explain he’s running behind but you say “we give enough time for everyone”, that doesn’t answer the question on why you’re scheduling is off by 20 minutes... the answer, bad front desk operatives and poor communication. Your customer service is severely lacking professionalism. We can hear everything you’re mumbling behind your desk, rude comments about clients going into the back included. Not impressed.

After may years of having a compromised shoulder I visited GRSM for evaluation and rehabilitation. The combined efforts of Dana Snelling, Physiotherapist for Joint Instability and Strengthening and Dr. Stefano Bozzo, Chiropractor for Acupuncture and Active Release Technique proved to be very successful. Each discipline targeted separate issues. The combination of treatment was monitored weekly and re-assessed as necessary by implementing specific and progressive exercises. Both Stefano and Dana are very thorough and persistent in their problem solving and great at working with you to achieve resolution. Patience and commitment to doing the exercises was key to success. Would highly recommend the GRSM Team and the front end girls are fabulous too.

Staffing and communication is poor. I had scheduled an appointment with a massage therapist. I waited 20 minutes only to find out the massage therapist went home for the day and there was no one else available for the next 5 days. I was left in discomfort over the thanksgiving weekend.

Highly recommend! :) This clinic has felt like home since I suffered a torn ACL & meniscus November of 2017. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, very professional, polite/friendly & the facility is always clean with all the equipment you need for rehab. Walking into the clinic, you are always greeted with a smile. The receptionist staff is very welcoming and efficient - making sure you always have your appointments scheduled. My physiotherapist Dana has been nothing short of amazing. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and positive. All in all, just a wonderful physiotherapist. Went to see the chiropractor. He made what appeared to be a valid assessment. Gave me exercises and did the a.r.t. massage. A few small adjustments. Worked very well for me. I recommend grsm for this. Hours are limited and they could not direct bill my jobs health care. But that's OK.

I have been going to this clinic for joint instability and chronic pain since I moved to Cambridge last May. Dr. Bozzo has been instrumental in keeping my symptoms at bay and helping me recover from my recurrent injuries. He is highly skilled in Active Release Therapy and listens to his patients to get the most out of your sessions. I have also been seeing Kevin for Physiotherapy and he is by far better than my last physiotherapist! He makes a treatment plan and gives you homework for between sessions that are attainable! I would highly recommend both Dr. Bozzo and Kevin for anyone in the area who needs some support through an injury or long term like me! They also laugh at my jokes which is very important to me!
