I couldn't agree more with the previous reviewer.
If you are a woman seeking an ADHD diagnosis, do NOT go to doctor Gabriel. Sure, you may get prescribed medication, but in terms of actually hearing you out or listening to your concerns, symptoms, or side effects, he couldn't possibly be more unhelpful.
My biggest concern with Dr. Gabriel is that he did not listen when I spoke. He would interrupt me in the middle of sentences, and when I would speak about my day-to-day experiences with ADHD and with my medication dosage, he would interrupt me to explain them away without further discussion. I never, not even once, really felt heard – or taken seriously – when speaking to Dr. Gabriel.
As many other commenters have mentioned, he's pretty disorganized. On more than one occasion, he failed to call my prescription into my pharmacy. Late for appointments, no confirmation calls, and is very hard to get through to. He could use a receptionist.
He does not read your file before speaking to you. Every time we spoke, he neglected to call my by my preferred name even though I always corrected him.
Another thing to mention: he is HIGHLY judgmental about any mention of cannabis use and will quickly blame any and all mental health problems exclusively on the use of marijuana if you do partake.
If you end up with a referral to Dr. Gabriel, ESPECIALLY if you are an adult woman with ADHD, do what you can to see another specialist.
