I have been dealing with PCS for almost 2 years before seeing Dr. Phoenix. My family doctor had told me to prepare for my new normal, never returning back to work etc. After 3 months of neurofeedback treatment I have been medically cleared to return to work. Dr. Phoenix was the first to really listen to my concerns and actively treat my symptoms. It has genuinely made my recovery possible!

Decided to take the first step and look for a counsellor and unfortunately found this place. Instead of asking any questions or even pretending to care about you they just run you through the same process they do for everyone, which is plug you into some pseudo science computer and tell your fortune for $300. Then for only $250 you get to sit in a room while wearing essentially a blindfold that shows you pretty colors as you listen to "relaxing sounds". My BS meter was going off the charts as I sat there very uncomfortably. The machine ended up disconnecting and I took off the glasses to find no one was even in the room anymore. This was with Dr. Phoenix himself and some other guy and neither of them stuck around to observe whatever it is they're observing. I reluctantly paid expecting my insurance to cover it but even they recognize this scam for what it is. If you have any interest in healing and getting better do yourself a favor and save your money. Buy a set of noise cancelling headphones and look up relaxing music on YouTube. I'm out over $500 from this stupid place for simply trying to get better. Below is the cold robotic response you could expect from this place. Had I felt like the guy cared about his clients more than his pockets I'd have stuck to it but you can't expect everyone to be complacent enough to accept this kind of run of the mill treatment. You're preying on the vulnerable through the guise of insurance. Disgusting.

Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and Dr. Phoenix patiently answers all your questions. He is knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely go back!

My family and I were in a car accident on Christmas Eve. I was going to as many massage, physiotherapy and chiropractor appointments as I possibly could early on but I was still struggling to stay calm at times while driving. My heart would pound and my hands would get sweaty if someone pulled up to the road I was driving on too quickly. I was busy taking care of my physical health but I wasn't giving my mental health a chance. My family was going to neurofeedback therapy and after I had seen them going and noticed some improvement, I decided to give it a try. 1 session in, even on the drive back to Abbotsford, I already noticed a huge difference. I have been going to see Dr. Phoenix now for a few months and I have seen so many improvements in my ability to stay calm, not just in driving but everyday life as well. I have been able to get to sleep a lot faster as well (which has always been a concern for me since childhood).

Dr. Phoenix assessed me over several days and was able to pinpoint the causes of my stress and anxiety. He is incredibly empathetic and skilled in his work. I highly recommend Dr. Phoenix for any and all mental health concerns.
