Outdated education on type 1 diabetes. Refusal to follow up on issues related and refuse to run tests or follow up on bloodwork with problematic results. Refusal for follow ups to the point of putting patients wellbeing and life at risk. Lovely woman, but completely inadequate medical practice in regards to type 1 diabetes.

Unfortunately Dr Ujjaini decided to refuse seeing me and asked for another referral before she would see me again. This proves our healthcare system is flawed and based on block chain time management(15 min/patient). It’s about throughput not patient care and understanding. I have moved to Cambridge so I will find an endocrinologist that looks at patients as individuals and not an end total for the day. I was referred to her for insulin pump treatment ....What kind of Endocrinologist has no interest in a hypothyroid condition? This one. Last time I checked the thyroid was an endocrine gland.

I have found her very personable, has met my needs in control my diabetes and does explain my blood work results etc. I like it she is always on time, wait times are very limited especially dealing with the COVID-19.

Dr Sarkar is an excellent practitioner with regard to diabetes treatment. She has been very supportive in my healthcare and I want to commend her for her enthusiasm and positive attitude. It goes far in the treatment of chronic healthcare needs. I look forward to my next meeting with this healthcare provider.
