My husband and I sought counseling to address some issues we had been struggling with for a long time. We had tried couples' therapy previously but had often times left those sessions feeling as though the counselor had proven to be partial to one spouse over the other. Coslyn demonstrated her keen listening abilities from the beginning and made each of us feel heard by offering very thoughtful insights which resonated with both of us. She seemed genuinely interested in trying to understand our stories as individuals as well as a unit in order to effectively identify some of the stumbling blocks in our marriage. Ms. Selby is amazing! Her experience really shows, and my first session with her gave me a lot of insights on things I had been thinking about a lot. She is super friendly, so it easy to talk to her. Just the first few sessions have helped me a lot, because she has useful insights I hadn't realized on my own. I especially like that she guides sessions effectively, because it feels like she hones in on an area that can provide the most progress to focus on first. I was initially very nervous about choosing to see a counsellor, but upon arrival I was made to feel very safe, accepted, and welcome. Coslyn very quickly made me feel like I was a friend coming to talk about what I needed to, casting no judgement, and indeed expanding upon what I told her to bring me to a deeper awareness of myself and what was happening. While it was by no means easy to open up, she made the process a much easier one in which I felt supported and understood in doing so. I'm looking forward to seeing her again, gaining further revelations, and working towards my goals with her help. Highly recommended!

In response to Aman Gill’s negative review and one star, I can attest that Coslyn is none of those things. I have been seeing her for more than a year. This is by choice because I have solved the initial issue that I was seeking assistance with. I have found immense value in continuing with her on all new items that arise in my life. It has allowed me to stay focus and mentally strong so I can live a mindful life while being present for what really matters. She will definitely call me on issues that I don’t want to face up to which is all fair. This is why we seek objective guidance for our actions. When I embarked on this journey with Coslyn I had no idea the peaks and valleys of emotions that I would unearth within myself. Coslyn have been very supportive in meeting me where I am in my process, in order to push me forward. From every session there is a learning that I can incorporate into my daily life. She is very gentle yet realistic in her guidance. This enables me to be more receptive to make difficult decisions that I need to in my life.

Ms. Selby is a true professional who is committed to supporting others in their quest for self-improvement and development. Even before we met, she explained her service fees and they were very reasonable and fair. When I met with Ms. Selby, she was kind, empathetic, and professional. She genuinely listened and cared about what I had to say and was very honest about the type of support I might benefit from most. She explained what her services and areas of expertise were and told me that she needed to consider whether or not she would be the best person to help me or if I would be served better with a different type of counselling professional. I appreciated her honesty and care and she told me she would help me find the support I needed. She would not leave me "high and dry" to navigate this by myself. I knew then that I wished I could continue working with her, but whatever she determined, I could trust that she was working in my best interests. She told me that she had some people in mind and would reach out to them and get back to me with a response soon. I have now seen this new counsellor three times and it's been a great experience and is a very good fit. I was desperately looking for a place for counselling and C.S Counselling is the one that came through. I called a few places and nothing was available. One of them told me that next appointment is in September, now that is crazy. Person is in a dire need and they have to wait that long. I called C.S. Counselling left a voice mail and within 30 mins I got a call back and got an appointment within a couple of days. Coslyn is amazing, very friendly and easy to talk to. very helpful and started to feel better after the first interaction. There is no pressure if you are not comfortable talking about something. I have also dealt with another member of her team and she is amazing too. Keep up the good work.

Extremely unprofessional. Tried setting up an emergency appointment and kept bringing up that she doesn't provide medication despite being told over and over again that all we need is counselling. Jumped to conclusions and kept giving pushback. Ridiculous.

After trying a few different therapists, I have found Coselyn and could not be happier with the services I am currently receiving. She was extremely professional on my first visit and connected with me instantly. She was completely open to hearing my situation and instantly guided me into the right direction. She ensures the session is about the client and not about anything else. She meets the clients needs and books appoints based on the clients schedule. She is willing to come in early and stay late to meet the needs of her clients. She is also constantly doing research to provide the best support and service. C.S. Couselling has been one of the best choices I have made for myself. Initially I went to C.S. Counselling for guidance about my career choices as I was feeling 'stuck' and did not know what to do. After meeting with Coselyn, her personable style, her non judgmental attitude and open mindedness was a breath of fresh air. I was given tangible advice and was always willing to return ready to share and learn. In 2019, it was a challenging time globally, as well as personally and I was feeling extremely overwhelmed. I was so glad to know that Coselyn was there to talk to and confide in. She provided a blanket of compassion that I needed so that I can be more compassionate to myself. She also empowered me with the tools to stand in the face of adversity and meet my challenges instead of hiding from them.
