Everyone at the front desk is very welcoming and nice. Stephanie and I bonded so well, I’m going to miss seeing her everyday the most!

Nightmare - I could not think of a worst experience then what happened at Greater Lowell Psychiatric. We waited a month to finally get the intake completed and get much needed supports - only to immediately get discharged by Olga. We totally wasted valuable time to get the supports we needed in place. I wish we never went there. Now we have to start all over again.

I had two courses of TMS and it really helped me in my battle with depression. It helped to brighten my demeanor and sleep better. The staff is fabulous, knowledgeable and kind. It doesn’t work for everyone and for me it was a mild boost (which was great). But if you are depressed it is totally worth trying.

My psychiatrist, Henry Kaggwa, has been wonderful, and extremely helpful in my medication management for my depression. However, I cannot give any medical office that still requires you to mail in a check to pay your bill five stars. It's 2021, and we should be able to pay online.

This place does not even deserve a one star rating. My advice: Stay away from this place if you have mental health issues. They have no compassion, empathy, or concern for their patients. They do not return phone calls in a tinely manner, have no idea how to prescribe the correct medication, they will let you withdraw from medications and when you call for help they tell you to go to the emergency room. You cant be late for an appointment even if you call to tell them because when you get there they will send you home like you got in trouble at the Principal's Office. They will make no exceptions and they care if you leave feeling humilated and burned out. They will literally tell you to go home and suck it up. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A DOG. I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN TREATED BETTER AT A VET'S OFFICE. SHAME ON YOU FOR TREATING PATIENTS THIS WAY. ????

Dr. Henry Kaggwa I recently moved to the area and I was struggling greatly when I arrived. Dr. Kaggwa was able to straighten out my medicines and get me back on track in short time. I feel good now, and I have him to thank. I’ve had many psychiatrists over the years and he is one of the best.

I went to this office from ~ 2015-2018. I have gone through 2 doctors and 1 counselor: 1 left the practice; 1 did nothing at all but yawn; and 1 is not listening to anything I have to say but keeps adding new meds to my list. If you want a good pill-pusher, ask *****. Although, she is late for every appointment so make sure you have time to sit around for 15-45 mins. I constantly had problems refilling meds at CVS (I've been there for 2+ years) and my doctor was never able to be found I called the office to speak to on-call nurses for refills (and leave a recording) at least 2-3 times before they re-send it. They don't always have reminder calls, so mark your calendar! No shows & cancellations within less than 24 hours are both $75 fees. Also, they kept sending me a $15 bill which I had paid in-office, and it somehow jumped to over $100 for "late payment". Therefore, they wouldn't let me schedule another appointment (which means I couldn't get med refills) until the bill was paid! Keep your receipts via debit/credit card. The small printed receipts fade and you'll be left with a white paper square - so don't use cash! Lastly, I was dropped by BCBS under my parent's plan because I turned 26 in September. Now it is October and I have MA Health (ConnectorCare2), and my current doctor doesn't accept it - AFTER I already went to the appointment; and AFTER she added a new med to the list. Check your list of doctors through your health insurance plan before going anywhere! Usually, there are more open appointments in spring. Good luck!

Stay AWAY. What a nightmare. First appointment: Was told I'd be mailed paperwork to fill out. Was not mailed anything. Arrived fifteen minutes early to my appointment, only to find that the office was closed. Then, once the office opened, it took over half an hour to fill out the paperwork. THEN, once I finally made it into the room, I was told that there wasn't enough time left in my appointment to see me. Because of the paperwork. Unreal. Second appointment: I had an appointment with Olga Cobozeva, scheduled for 7am. Olga did not arrive at the office until 9 am, TWO HOURS later. She listened to nothing I said. When I told her I didn't want medication, she berated me for "wasting her time." Wasting her time? It took two hours out of MY day just to get in her office! If you're seeking support for mental health issues, you can't get it from people who are mentally sick themselves. Stay away from Lowell Psychiatric.

I never really found a good person there after the first lady left. I kept going through therapists because not one of them connected with me and my needs. I stopped going because I lost hope and thought I could do it on my own. While I was there I got billed for appts I cancelled, appts that I didn't book and also appts that the therapist cancelled..that also bothered me. I found out because it was on my credit report. I never looked forward to going here because I felt it was a waste of time. I would stay clear and find somewhere that really cares about your mental health, rather than feeling it was all about the money. I didn't go back for over 6 months and out of desperation tried to make an appointment to talk to someone and the head Dr. said they were not taking new patients...that's not cool when your desperate and you express this. I have already booked an appt. with another place in Lowell who doesn't know me. Thanks for making me feel like you really cared about my mental health in the first place. This confirmed my initial thoughts about this place.
