The center is welcoming, relaxing and focused on self comfort. Dr. Jaak and his staff are highly educated and professional while making one feel at ease in a soothing enviroment. I am a repeat client as many are and have done a variety of the classes and workshops offered. I have learnt the skills to worry about the future less, to let go of the past more easily and to stay in the moment more. I have more patience, less angry reactive outburts, and am no longer feeling the need to subdue my feelings and memories with alcohol as I now face the emotions that before I buried by drinking. I sleep better and when upset can relax and be in control of my feelings rather then my feelings control me. Dr. Jaak is a well respected, approachable, highly trained and likeable doctor. He is open of his own experiences and non-judgemental. I am so grateful to have been referred to him by someone who said the course and tools taught were life changing. And, life changing is the word for it. Along with the classes upon graduation there are practice sessions which allow you to stay refreshed on the skills you have learnt. Thank you Dr. Jaak for creating such a wonderful place of healing.

I have done the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) program twice with Dr. Reichmann, and I found it deeply helpful. It paved the way for healing in a way I had hoped for but did not necessarily believe was possible.
