All of the providers are so helpful and caring!

Cedar Psychiatry has changed the way I manage my Treatment-Resistant MDD. My provider, Josh Bentley, continues to work with me on my medication regimen and has a plan of action for our next visit if a change we have made is not effective. I continue FDA approved Spravato treatments and have done ketamine treatments in times of crisis. The admin staff and treatment room staff has always been very friendly and sympathetic. I have also worked with Vanessa Martinez, Thomas Mifflin and Derick Moody (all phenomenal). In addition, I frequent the Springville and Draper clinics. I recommend Cedar Psychiatry to anyone I can and am so grateful for everyone in their offices that have helped me on my journey.

I have had the most wonderful experience here at cedar the staff if always so kind and their nurses are amazing! Tonya is the most caring compassionate and sweet lady in the world she really cares about you and made my experience here 5 stars. Can't wait to go back. Great job ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tyler Lopez

This is an awesome place, I have definitely become a better person after coming here for about 2 years. I have been seeing Bob for the past year and he has helped me learn what I want to change so I could be happier, then he helped me actually do it!

Just had the greatest experience with one of their office staff members. I’m blown away at how Shari (spelling?), who normally only signs up new patients, went above and beyond to help me get my medication. Give this woman a raise! I felt like she cared more than another lady i talked to whose job it was to help me get my prescription. Story: I needed a prior authorization for a medication before I flew out of state that night. My pharmacy had faxed cedar earlier that week asking for the prior authorization. Unfortunately I didn’t follow up with cedar until the day I was leaving. I called 5 min before they closed and no one was there accept for Shari (sp?) who normally only signs up new patients. She wasn’t able to help me and I figured I’d have to get my medication in a week after the holidays. She then called me the next day and said found there was a way for me to still get my medication and called my local pharmacy and everything. Very impressed.

Tried to schedule an appointment and they were rude and not personable on the phone. They took a $50 fee to schedule and when I decided (many days in advance) to cancel the appointment, no one got back to me for days or let me know what was happening with my $50 refund. They do not respond to emails.

Really great experience all around!

So grateful for this clinic. I walked into their clinic so broken and scared. At the end of my rope. And a year latter I am still here. I like Vanessa, Thomas, Landon Moyer's, and Stephen Thayer. The clinic is growing faster than their staff is increasing it seems, But that's because the need is high and their treatments and services are not available everywhere. People are hurting, people are scared and desperate for help. I see the comments, I understand I call more often than I did a year ago, but it's worth it. They are good.

Natalie Hutchinson

My daughter has been seeing Vanessa for about a year now. She has been so willing to listen and take the time to understand her, which is exactly what she needed. She has been very willing to adjust her medication as needed and requested too. We have loved our experience here. Thank you!

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.???????? Joshua Bentley, is unforgiving and if you're going to choose him as your PROVIDER, WATCH OUT. JOSHUA BENTLEY, WAS 'SPLITTING HAIRS' LOOKING FOR ANY EXCUSE TO END OUR APPOINTMENT AFTER WAITING SIX WEEKS, OR SO, LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES IN HE DROPPED THE CALL. I CALLED THE RECEPTIONIST AND APOLOGIZED FOR RAISING MY VOICE AND SAYING THE 'F' WORD IN THE LAST BIT OF OUR CONVERSATION..WOW!!! I'M ALL GROWN UP! THE SCHEME: PAY NEW PATIENT FEE ⬆️ PROVIDER FINDS ANY REASON/EXCUSE TO END YOUR MEETING, AND PROVIDING A SIX WEEK WAIT DISSERVICE. NOW, THEY HAVE KICKED ME OUT THE DOOR, THEY CAN CHARGE ANOTHER PERSON A NEW PATIENT "FEE."⬅️(currently $100 fee, or so, if paying cash.) IS THIS A RACKETEERING ENTERPRISE? I PRAY YOU ARE SUED FOR VIOLENT MALPRACTICE! ASKING ME, HOW ARE YOU? AND THEN NOT BEING ABLE TO HANDLE MY REPLY, FOR EVIL IS RAMPANTLY RUNNING ABOUT. SUPERFICIAL HELP. WHAT CREDIBILITY DO THESE THINGS HAVE? "Take on a persona of self-preservation; I have had to with these things."

bad experiences with office staff, psychiatrist was not able to help me properly with medication management. Treatments were ended a week and a half after starting.

Bryan Simpson

Call them. ! Not taking new patients. Thats how they start their conversations... what they Can't do

I had a good experience with Josh. He is attentive and patient. However, different girls called to change appointments after they were made that was frustrating since I went to 2 hr psychotherapy they did get Thomas to help me and my daughter and that was a blessing. Now I am being charged an extra $175.and I had already pre paid for this service because I was very anxious t hff at something would hinder my pka n.v s.I keep trying to get this vfc resolved but have not been able to teach someone n.v e f oil r help.straight away

I’ve been taking my mom to Kathy Bentley at Cedar Psychiatry since last year, she has been beyond AMAZING! She has helped my mom so much, she’s very caring and quick to respond to any concerns or questions. I’m forever grateful for her and would highly recommend her to anyone that is needing any help with mental health. She truly is the BEST!!!!!!!!

I have been coming here for about 4 years; on an off, and I am glad I found this office. It is close to home and staff is accommodating. Derek Moody is a good guy. Thank you.

I can't say enough about my experience with Cedar Psychiatry. I recently finished a 6 week ketamine treatment program. The staff have been wonderful in making me feel safe and comfortable during a new and somewhat difficult experience. Tanya was always there with a welcoming smile, encouragement and a hug if I needed it. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to progress in my healing journey and Cedar Psychiatry will continue to play a part in that. Thank you!

Before Cedar Psychiatry, I tried different medical providers looking for someone I could confide in with deep personal issues and could trust that they would listen thoroughly to my struggles. I have found that and more at Cedar Psychiatry. I have been coming here for some time and have seen immense improvement in my quality of life which I attribute to the care of the different providers at Cedar. I started seeing Derrick Moody until my own schedule conflicts had me switch to Vanessa Martinez. Both providers have always been amazing in their pursuit to help me get a handle on my depression and anxiety. I go to Cedar for Ketamine treatments and I am so immensely grateful that Cedar provides this incredibly efficient treatment option as it has allowed me to function at a much higher level than all the methods and medications I have tried before. At first, I sought healing to pull me out of the hole I was in but now I go to maintain the quality of life I was hoping for and pursuing. Cedar hires amazing staff like Tanya and the other medical providers I mentioned. They are so friendly and kind. I feel this desire to mention those who have personally helped me because they have made it feel so personal in the manner in which they have cared and contributed abundantly to my healing process.

I like my doctor, but the office staff is so incapable that I don't think I can keep going here. Unless I meet with my doctor monthly, which isn't necessary, it appears to be impossible to get a prescription filled without having to call multiple times and follow up with a team that doesn't ever answer their phones. I wish they were even a fraction as dedicated to actually providing good ongoing care as they were to ensuring you had another appointment set up. I also had a bizarre experience where one of the staff called me right after my appointment to collect payment, but I didn't have my credit card on me and kept telling him I'd pay online (which I did) and he wouldn't let it go. He was so persistent that it got to the point I wouldn't have even felt comfortable giving him my CC number over the phone because it felt scamy. It would be one thing if that were a normal practice for this office, but it was the first time someone had tried to collect payment that way and the experience was pretty disconcerting.

Jethro Gillespie

Excellent facility, compassionate people, progressive with technology as well as with current scientific research and development in the field of Psychiatry.

When I did my Spravato I was very nervous because I had never tried the medication. I had a guy Named Thomas who I had never met before take care of me. I let him know that I had a terrible migraine the first time I had tried the medication but I get migraines every now and then and I wanted to try the spravato again to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. He informed me that the medication does have that side effect and that when that happens they usually discontinue the treatment because it is likely to occur again. I had a few questions regarding that so he let me ask all the questions I had and answered them in the nicest way. I was very insistent on them trying it once more. He allowed me to do it again. Thomas was super informative on techniques that could help me get the best therapy results. Even though I had already have the treatment he talked me through the whole process and how it works he explained things to me in a way I could understand. I was grateful that he went through the explanation with me because there were definitely things I missed the first time that. Thomas came and checked on me multiple times because I was more aware he would talk to me and make sure I was doing ok he also would make sure I was comfortable. Towards the end of the therapy I had a migraine again! Thomas made sure that I had some medication to help with my headache. He also explained to me how the Medication would be most effective and gave me some other tips and tricks to help with my migraine. The first time I did the Spravato my migraine lasted 3 Days but because of Thomas's knowledge and his tips and tricks my headache did not last as long. I was very grateful for all his help throughout the whole process. I could tell he really cared for all his patients and wanted them to have the best experience and care that they could have. My provider Carol Tanner who is amazing (I highly recommend her to every one) had referred me to try the Spravato. Although the treatment did not work for me I was grateful that Carol Tanner told me about it and got me started. I am grateful that she trusted Thomas to take care of me with how nervous I was. Between the two of the the experience I had was great. They are both kind, caring, genuine, knowledgeable, helpful, and I truly felt as if they both cared about me and wanted to do what was best for me. I truly felt like my care and treatment was important to them. I also was grateful for Mary who had helped me with the set up of my appointments, getting the correct information to the prior authorization person, and answering my questions. I also am thankful to the person who did my prior Auth for the Spravato. They got it done and back so quick I couldn't believe it.

I’m doing 3 in hopes that the TMS treatment will work but so far my experience hasn’t been good in the sense I don’t feel like I’m being listened to. I’ve seen Vanessa twice and the first time was conflicting for me because I felt weird answering questions I felt that she believed were true and I didn’t feel comfortable saying otherwise because it felt like I needed to agree with her. The second appointment I tried to say the last appointment made me uncomfortable and I didn’t feel like I really got to speak about what I was REALLY feeling instead of what I thought she wanted to hear. Her response was her clarifying that SHE was the professional, which wasn’t a question to me, I’m not trying to test her ability to do her job I just want to feel comfortable enough to actually say what I’m feeling and being shut down like that I don’t feel like was professional at all. It took a long time to get a psychiatrist and it would be nice to have them tell me why they believe the diagnosis they’ve given me personally instead of saying I checked off all the attributes in a book. I can accept a diagnosis, I would just like to at least feel like I’m being heard instead of feeling like someone already has an agenda and will convince me it’s true regardless of what I’m feeling/experiencing. When I told her the last session I wasn’t being honest and she told me I WAS being honest and that I met the criteria and that’s why she diagnosed me and when I mentioned why I feel confused that my therapist says otherwise because he’s known me for over a year and watched my behavior she said “I went to school for this I do this every day diagnosing people, he’s just a therapist”. That’s the disregarding behavior I’m trying to say that I don’t feel like whatever I have to say has any importance to her. I don’t think it’s normal to be afraid of saying something to your psychiatrist because they may shut you down. I’m open to see other psychiatrists at the office, that was very discouraging. If someone tells you they’re uncomfortable I think it would be acceptable to say “I’m sorry you feel that way, this is what I am doing as my job and I don’t want you to feel like you’re being disregarded so what can we do to better help you?” I realize I’m not a professional, I’m the patient, but that sucked and affected me a lot.

Bunch of liars. I liked doctor moyer, but if your insurance drops them, they will not let you know. They will lie to your face that they are still covered. Do NOT trust the front desk for their word!

Ky Webb

I was sad to say bye to Cedar Psychiatry after moving out of state. They give a nice sense of community in the office where you’re greeted at arrival, escorted by the care provider to the room, then as you’re heading out another few employees were always available to set the next appointment. Cedar acted quickly with COVID giving professional healthcare services online right at your home. Mallory Danielson was my prescriber and she worked very well with me and my needs. Great company!

Caroline Fette

Worst care I've ever received. They just want your money. Very poor medical advice, very poor medication knowledge!! They don't return calls of importance til the next day. Don't waste your money and time at this place. They could care less about the client. The providers "push through" their quota of clients for the day....very poor service!

After the initial intake they lost our appointments that we made. We rescheduled and they were not even open. We arrived to a dark office. But dont worry their pricing seems about the same as everyone else. Until you get the bill and the intake is $400 which consists of filling you filling out paperwork, and another $100 for the less than 30 minutes of the required to be seen by a therapist to make sure this treatment is a good fit. Be prepared to over pay and then not actually get you in for an appointment. They also were very pushy wanting a therapy session for after the treatment even though I repeatedly told them we already have a therapist. They want you to use theirs. No worries though they are book over 3 months out. This whole thing has been a joke and we wont be going back to try again.

Brittani Buckner

Called to get a refill on ADHD medication and I’m told it may not be approved because it has been 90 days since my sons last visit. I get calls and text messages about what I owe them but nobody can call to make a follow up appointment. Time was condescending and very unprofessional. I understand there are regulations regarding medication. I also understand how to be helpful and not talk down to people. They are more concerned about money than helping people.

Cameron Hess

Wow. The office staff is so rude and unprofessional. Every time I’ve called, they are absolutely no help and act like they could care less about you or your situation. I called to refill a prescription and told them my story and they treat me as if I’m lying and make sarcastic jokes to me. I talked to a man but a lady the other time. This is a mental health clinic and they take things very lightly here. Please evaluate your staff because this is a joke. I am not one to leave bad reviews but this one is very much needed. I’m debating on leaving this facility and going somewhere else. They really don’t take you serious here and are SO rude.

Landon Moyers is fantastic! He is very attentive and patient with my boys who are patients. The entire staff team is very helpful and so kind. Highly recommend!

I was a new patient of Dr. Derick Moody. I started to run out of a medication he prescribed and I called the office to get a refill. Dr Moody called the prescription into the wrong pharmacy (where it cost twice as much). I called the office 4-5 times in a 3 day period trying to get the prescription called to the right pharmacy and I received no consideration and was ignored even though I was promised a call back.

Jeff Price

Dr. Reid Robison is amazing! I recently went back after being away 2 years and I'm glad to be back with him. He's helped me out so much and got me set up on TMS treatments

Mark Barnes

My encounter with Joshua Bentley was very pleasant. He was on time. He gave me time to express my concerns. I felt at ease. I felt heard and respected. I certainly recommend Joshua Bentley.

Brynn S

This place is a major joke. They are incredibly rude and unprofessional. No one there knows what they are talking about nor do they care about you or your treatment. They made us pay $100 just to tell me that they won’t help me. They didn’t send out the paperwork to our insurance even though it was THEIR job and they said they would. Had to wait 2 weeks for absolutely nothing. Don’t give these people your money.

Edward Bailey

Dr. Reid Robison, my daughter’s psychiatrist, is kind and very helpful. He really takes the time to get to know her and really listens.

Daniel Mogil

Dr. Robison is by far the best psychiatrist I've ever seen. I would recommend him to anyone.

Charles Hill

Thank god for Cedar Psychiatry, they have been with me my whole healing journey

I have been a patient at Cedar Psychiatry for 1.5 years. Every time I come for an appointment, I feel like I am visiting friends. The office staff is very friendly and they really go to bat for me in terms of scheduling appointments. The overall tone is warm and inviting. The staff I have worked with are empathetic and non-judgmental; both qualities are super important to me. I always leave with new insights. My favorite part of the practice is the spravato office. Spravato is a newer treatment and Cedar does an excellent job delivering it. The office is very calming and comfortable. They make sure you understand the process and answer any questions. The chairs are super comfortable for a treatment that takes a few hours. I can't leave a review without mentioning Tanya.. Tanya is my spravato superhero and she is simply amazing. She has fought insurance for me and is able to squeeze me in for appointments that no one else can seem to make. She listens so well and I truly view her as a good friend. There are other locations I could go to, but they don't have Tanya, so I never hesitate to make the drive. Tanya is a perfect example of who a mental health professional should be like. Overall, I highly recommend Cedar Psychiatry for anyone in need of a mental health practitioner or spravato treatment.

Jamison Daniels

I've been a patient at this clinic for about three years. It's been an amazing fit. The staff, practitioners, are all so friendly and knowledgeable. I recently completed TMS treatment which was a game changer for my depression.

Sharlene Brodsky

Very happy with my TMS and Spravato treatments

Jonathan Ramirez

I have had 9 counseling sessions so far. Cedar Psychiatry is truly professional in every way. Love & blessings to all who are on a healing journey.

Brian Coleman

Very caring and sincere providers. The front office staff is also extremely pleasant and treat the clients very kindly.

Betsy Russell

The medical professionals are competent, but there office management is completely unprofessional! I can't get through for a phone call. They won't respond to my emails via their patient portal (I sent three in one week trying to get them to send paperwork that is over a week late to my employer...which could cost me my job if not sent) I even was on the phone with a receptionist who told me my visit would be covered, but then apologized for mixing me up with another patient with different insurance. Completely disorganized and unprofessional. Such a shame when working with people with mental illness.

P Vanne

Very disappointing experience, and zero follow up. I booked an appointment for an initial screen, and after phoning Cedar was told they would be able to prescribe medication if needed after my first appointment. I never heard back from my doctor or their office, even after almost a dozen phone calls (over a month) to their office and assurances that someone would reach out to me the same day. They did however, keep asking me to book an appointment for a follow up and pay in advance. Tons of red flags from this place - it doesn't seem like they are interested in treating patients. But they are interested in squeezing as much money as they can before you realize they won't do anything for you.

Alison Boettcher

We have a number of clients that receive outpatient psychiatric care and ketamine treatments at Cedar Psychiatry. I have always been impressed by their collaboration approach and flexibility working with our students. Scheduling is simple, communication is excellent, and their providers are responsive and seasoned professionals.

Domingo Allison

These guys truly understand mental healthcare

Alexander Deluca

Great clinic, I had a good experience here.

Airen Cook

I've been to a lot of different mental health places and this has by far been my favorite. They're professional, and helpful. Always make sure I feel taken care of. Grateful to have found them.

Al Tate

My daughter has been a patient of Vanessa Martinez for a few years now and I can honestly say I'm not sure where she would be without her. She is caring and compassionate and always willing to listen. In addition, the office staff is professional, friendly and always on top of things. I really can't say enough about this practice. Highly recommend!

David Crane

The business office is a joke. I called to cancel with 24 hours notice when I had something come up unexpectedly, and they informed me that it was 48 hours and I would be charged $75. Their office staff could not figure out insurance. They collected a copay on one person and not the other with the same insurance. The providers are competent, but if you are looking for real help I would look elsewhere. The person we saw made snap judgements and was not even up to date on current research. Much better options out there.

Clarence Scott

I was lucky to be with Dr. Reid Robison. So wonderful and accepting. I wanted to send a friend but, unfortunately, I was told that he does not accept new patients. Exceptional guy
