I really like Dr Palmer!His staff not so much!!They are friendly when you come in for your first visit.If you call back and ask for a appointment paperwork or to reschedule so you can be seen earlier you can forget it!!They will NOT call you back...Will be seeing a new Dr in the New Year..Really hate it because Dr Palmer is Great!!

Dr. Palmer is by far the BEST doctor that I've ever seen! He is such a kind, compassionate gentleman that truly cares about his patients. Since my very first appointment I've never walked out of this establishment without a smile on my face. His staff is very friendly and always welcomes with a smile. When booking my first appointment it did take a few weeks to get in to see him, but with outstanding care that this place offers, it is more than worth the wait, so don't get discouraged if you have to wait a little, you won't be disappointed when you do get the care you deserve!

I’ve been seeing Dr Palmer for around 3 years now and I absolutely love him and the entire staff. Dr Palmer always takes the time to listen to my concerns and I’ve never felt rushed during any of my appointments: whether in the office or during an online appointment. The entire front staff is always pleasant and gives a warm greeting every time I am there. I’m normally even greeted by name. I wouldn’t change Dr’s for any reason. If you’re looking for a friendly and genuinely caring place, this office is most definitely for you. Thank you Dr. Palmer and staff for taking such good care of me and so many others.

Best Dr. I’ve seen with my son in Alabama. He was so kind, patient and caring. My son didn’t want to go because we have been so many places and no one has helped him. My son really liked him. Praying his new meds start to show a difference. I highly recommend him.

Not only is his staff completely incompetent and rude but this, so called Dr, had the audacity to flirt with my wife and even texted and called her phone repeadily saying that he could "take care of her financial needs". He's very lucky that God saved me from the old man I once was or...well, use your imagination. It is so sad because he has a beautiful family including a beautiful wife....wow Dr , you should be ashamed of your behavior but yet you continue...smh. You can't even be a dad and husband that your family deserves and you're trying to take care of someone else's. I'll make sure I speak to your wife very soon, although I'm sure she know the lack of man she married.

My son was referred to this office sometime last year. We have had a total of 3 appointments. Not once have we seen the actual doctor only a nurse practitioner, Rachel. They have not administered any test or assessments to my child only prescribed controlled substance medication. On our last appointment, in September, Rachel suggested my son needed to see a therapist. I agreed. They were supposed to send a referral to a therapist. I was contacted by said therapist and told that I would receive a call the following week to set up an appointment. I never received the call so I contacted the therapist and Dr. Palmers office and spoke with Rachel, she said she would refer him to a different therapist. That was 3 months ago. After trying to contact the office on multiple occasions about the matter and it still not being resolved I called my son general physician, they contacted Dr. Palmars office trying to find out what was going on, only to be lied to and told that the referral had been sent and they had not received any contact from me on the matter. Dr. Palmers office then contacted me and told me that they were dropping my son as a patient with no reason as to why. These people are completely incompetent in doing their job and helping children. All they want to do is dope children up and stick them in the corner. I would not recommend this practice to to my worst enemy.

I contacted the office on the morning of May 3. They informed me they would get back in touch with me within 48 hours, after they ran my insurance. It’s 7:08 pm May 8, and I still have not heard back from this doctor. I called for an appointment because I’m in a time of desperate need. No wonder Alabama ranks 48th in the U.S. in mental health.

Dr. Palmer is truly an amazing physiatrist! His desire to help is so clear and he makes such a great effort to relate and understand his patients... to me, that's what's important. He is extremely professional! I have just started seeing him but after meeting with him I feel very confident in our plan managing my ADD and anxiety. Been trying to book an appointment with them for 5 MONTHS now. The lady recorded my insurance information wrong and thus was unable to verify and never even a called me back to let me know. A month later I called back and gave then my information again... Same thing happened.... They never asked for a fax or anything. I have insurance. I have money but the incompetence of the staff at this office has prevented me from being seen for nearly half a year. Just called again as I have not heard back from them and they wouldn't even allow me to bring the insurance card by the office and said I couldn't email a picture as they do not have email. What a croc. So fed up with some of the ignorant people in this town.

Dr Palmer ordered a CT scan of my brain. This led to me seeing a neurologist. I don't have to see him anymore but appreciate his competent and professional care.
