Nice doctors, but poor admin. Treats patients more like clients; i.e. won't let you get care again until you pay off any payment plan, which defeats the purpose of going. Care more about the money than the "clients", whom are mental health patients. Shame because my therapy is great, but the company itself should listen to feedback and be more understanding, especially with not being able to go in-person.

Make an appointment with Dr. Lake if you want someone unreasonable with both a short temper and attention span; whose idea of treatment consists of snide remarks, condescension, and outright judgmental insults. I’ve never met a more impatient, inconsiderate, indignant, and incompassionate psychiatrist with a bigger superiority complex, smh. There’s plenty of other psychiatrists and centers in the city, it’s not worth it going here only to have someone exacerbate your issues in lieu of helping you.

Spent 3 emails back and forth on what my email and phone number and availability is, after I've already put all these info on the contact form submission. Then tells me in the 3rd email they have to only see weekly patients. Weird because... How can anyone confirm they need weekly sessions before they even met the therapist? Don't people try a few? Anyway the barrier was too high to even get someone to talk to and I gave up.

Convenient in a pitch but be aware expensive missed appointment fees. My appointments were over Zoom and usually under 10 minutes long. Since insurance paid for it and I have a therapist, it did the job but I’ve recently stopped using their services because of expensive missed appointment charges. I was told i would get text reminders for my appointments but never did and missed two in a row (thanks ADHD) i was charged a total of $300 for these. It’s easy to miss an appointment that’s virtual and 5 minutes long. I wish they would have just texted me and asked where I was instead of defaulting to charge my card. This move highlights how impersonal this place feels. Will be going elsewhere.
