My experience with SGI Security lies in my professional experience as an employee under the title of Transportation Agent - Overnight.
I have to say, outside of the military, I have never had a greater, professional supporter of my military commitment than I have with SGI. They truly look out for the person they hire and the training manager is highly efficient in getting you up to speed on everything you need to know - much of which is just people skills anyway, so you'll need that.
The job can fluctuate from one end of the spectrum to the other from day-to-day and hour-to-hour. I worked anywhere from 3-5 days a week, three days being full-time, and was compensated very well. I personally loved the on-call aspect of this job and getting the opportunity to work with various different hospitals, police departments and other organizations. The job has a lot of driving worked into it, and you can be driving almost every minute of a 12-hour shift, but it's largely broken up by your face to face interactions when picking up and dropping off your patients, etc. On the flip side, you may have a slow shift and have to find ways to fill your time (foreign language learning, study for school, etc.) this job has a phenomenal work-life balance.
I would gladly continue working here because of the job environment, work-life balance, and compensation, but I have to move out of state for external reasons. In sum, I truly felt like the CEO, Sarah Gordon, looked out for all of her employees and has really created a great company to work for and I am happy to have had the experiences this job provided!
