Overall very impressed with the service and response time. I contacted another 24hr agency Friday evening that didnt respond until Monday. When I called this agency, I spoke with owner of company directly - was not expecting that; he listened to my "why" and broke down prices. The retainer fee may seem a bit high but it's fair and to me, priceless for a piece of mind. The contract is self explanatory with prices broken down. My situation was extremely last minute and they had a guy in the specified area in less than an hour of setting things up (Area was in San Antonio). Members maintained frequent, constant contact. I really appreciate the PIs responding to feedback on things to look for and how long to follow - they really work with you. They reassured you that they arrived with pics and/or description of area. Videos were ok quality - this may be an area of improvement however they also gave a written email statement backing what was found and if official documentation is needed for legal matters, they reassured they will provide to the attorney. They sent background info on plates real time - very impressed. Again, I can't thank them enough for what they uncovered.

I had a marvelous experience with my full-service investigators. I called on a Wednesday night, to inquire about services, for that coming Friday. The ACES Lead Investigator was very warm and easy to talk with about my concern/ complex investigation. I immediately felt relieved and reassured that everything was going to be fine. I signed the contract, and I was assigned an PI within an hour. My investigation was focused on my special needs loved one’s living environment. Once the surveillance was concluded, the ACES investigators had an interview with my special needs loved one. She was very comfortable talking with the investigators. The investigators went over and beyond to assure my loved one was comfortable talking with them. ACES investigators were willing to relate and work with me, and my special needs loved one. I received great professional service and I would recommend ACES services for their willingness to work within extraordinary circumstances.

I had to retain Aces Private investigation services for child custody case and was assigned to Abe Gonzalez. He was absolutely professional from the get go attentive and extremely knowledgeable. He got the information and video that I asked for and even more. In my case he actually had to travel to testify in my court enforcement case. My attorney (who has 40+) in the legal field was extremely impressed with Abe's abilities and knowledge and asked for his information so that he could use him in the future. In my case Abe had to travel more than 5 hours for court and showed up to court and to attorney meetings on time and dressed in very professional attire. Due to his testimony I was privy to his credentials and resume and I can tell you that he is a "Highly" decorated Military vet and Dps officer. If you need a P.I this is the guy. His knowledge of the legal field is refreshing and his abilities as an investigator are exceptional. I have seen negative reviews on here about retainers and the cost of retaining an investigator and It just makes me wonder if the person complaining has every really had to do anything in the legal field or with private investiugators because retainer's are standard and the cost of these services are high because you are paying for Professionals. You can always find someone cheaper I'm sure as with any industry but you get what you pay for. I know for me when I am taking a case in front of a Judge I want someone with the professional credential's that give the court No doubts in the investigators abilities or truth of the testimony. I would definitely recommend Aces and I would work with them again, And I would ask that Abe Gonzalez be assigned to my case.

I called ACES to have a background check conducted on an individual. Henry was very short with me, forgetful and all around just not interested in my business. I found this company to be arrogant and unprofessional. They do indeed have alot of good reviews but some of those reviews seem to have been written by "positive writers" who are hired by company's to write positive reviews for them. I have hired many PI firms in many different states and ACES Private Investigations is by far the most useless Investigative firm I have come across. I would not recommend using this company when there are so many other PI firms to consider in the San Antonio area.

I don’t EVER write reviews in fact I made this account to specifically write a review for this company. I hired a PI and within 45min of her working I had exactly what I needed! I am beyond happy with this company and I highly recommended this company. The entire time the PI was communicating with me and as soon as she took the pictures I needed she sent them to my phone. Henry helped me from the second I called and answered every question I had. Both him and the PI were extremely professional and didn’t just see me and my situation like a pay check it genuinely seemed like they cared. They actually want to help and get the job done! This is the second time Google has done this. I was not at this business, so I cannot like or dislike it. My rating is neutral based on the fact I was not there. Edit: In response to owners response. It was not my intention to bring your "score" down with my review, but a 3 star review is neutral. A 1-5 scale is usually the following: 1 hated 2 disliked 3 neither like nor dislike 4 liked 5 loved The syntax may differ based on the company ranking the reviews, but usually a 3 means indifferent, nonaligned, unbiased, undecided, or on the fence; in other words: neutral. This further shows that google is still tracking my phone, even though location is supposed to have been turned off. I did not visit this business, but google says i did. Location was turned off in all settings of my phone, but it still shows I was near you. This is the fault of google, not mine, nor yours. With regards to not leaving a review, this would only further allow google to continue to track my location, when they are not supposed to be. Apparently, I need to remove the android OS from my phone, and put one on that doesn't track my movements.

Ace has a passion for investigations and it clearly shows in the results delivered. I was in a difficult situation and needed legal documents served within a day to an individual who was evading service of process. I called Ace after previously hiring another company that wasn’t able to deliver. Ace was very responsive and immediately started working on my case. They took the time to learn the history of the case and understand exactly what I needed. During the investigation/process serving the PI assigned to my case was in constant contact with me to update me and to receive additional instructions. After observing the address of the individual for some time and following him to a public place, Ace was able to serve the individual the same day. The initial experience seemed all was well, once everything was done and I asked what was left of my retainer it took over 2 weeks for me to finally get that information. Then of course there was absolutely nothing left of the retainer because they will charge anything and everything including apparently being taxed more than once. Just don't expect to get any money back from your retainer if you actually use their services.

Be suspicious of any reviews you read here. These people want only one thing: your money. I'm posting this for a friend because her computer is being hacked and stalked. She is being stalked, and for the first time turned to a PI. She hired Aces with some hesitancy after reading how they'll eat up your retainer. She nevertheless signed the contract which is immediately e-mailed so they can hook you. She was put in touch with Abe. Things got off to a rocky start when he didn't call the night they were supposed to meet. So she called him. They were to begin at nine the next morning. At ten she called him. He was still asleep. Finally and hour-and-a half after the assigned time he was at her home. She suspects someone is trying to install a GPS on her car and explained that she needed him to watch it while she walked around a park. Instead of watching he got out and started walking around the park, finally coming to sit and talk at a table. Their total time together was 40 mins. MAX. The bill was $800.00. She called repeatedly during the next few weeks and told them how disappointed she was with the service. She called the credit card co. to dispute the charges. Henry will hang up and not discuss anything with you. It's interesting that there are now reviews commenting on how great Abe is After they knew my friend was so ripped off. RUN and DO NOT sign a contract with these people.
