DONT DO IT. SCAM SCAM SCAM. BIGGEST RIPOFF!!! WASTE OF MONEY. I asked for a background check and they said it would take 3 days. They asked for a $450 retainer. BIGGEST MISTAKE. I paid them the retainer and never heard back. I called and emailed for weeks and heard nothing back. They basically just took my money. Please dont make the same mistake I did. Biggest Bush League investigators ever!!!

Originally I used one of Vancouver Private Investigator's competitors and was extremely disappointed by the fact that there was limited communication and that I got large bills without getting any adequate explanation as to what was done for the money I was spending. After switching to Vancouver Private Investigator I received nothing but first class service. I was pleased by the fact that I received honest pricing, excellent communication and that they took a results oriented approach to my particular case. If I ever need a PI firm again I will be sure to contact them in the future.

These guys are a joke! Took a retainer. Couldn't do a dam thing for me in locating a LOCAL person. Barely any communication on their end. I had to hassle them to speak to Mike.

I recently used Vancouver PI to perform a background check on a man I had met online who lives in Vancouver, I live in Saskatchewan (about a 3 hour plane ride from Vancouver). I attempted my own research, but the man was not anywhere to be found on the available resources; Facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc. I first turned to another company who I found on Google and chose because of their reviews. However, this company could not find anything about the man nor even that the man existed. I had a gut feeling that this was wrong because this firm had taken over a month to respond to me and couldn't show me any evidence of work completed, in which time my talks with my love interest had grown stronger and he invited me to come stay at his house for a weekend. I then turned to Vancouver PI, I was a little hesitant at first because of some of the other google reviews but I decided to take a chance, I couldn't of been happier that I did. Vancouver PI took a $1000.00 retainer and told me the cost could vary. My final bill came in at under $700.00 and within three weeks time. It turns out my gut feeling was right and the man I had met online has a history of scamming his "girlfriends" into giving him money to invest. Well those investments never come back, and from what it looks like go directly into his pocket. I couldn't thank Vancouver PI enough for saving me from this potential nightmare. The negative reviews on here couldn't be farther from the truth and I highly recommend Vancouver PI.

Mike said finding a phone # would be $300.00 or less a whole background starts at $700.00. I decided at the moment to do ONLY to do phone #. Knowing it was not a guarantee .They immediately charged $1000.00 On Dec. 5. NEVER ONCE called me. i had to call them , and then they said it takes time.Never hearing from them I called on Dec.23 13 and cxled and asked for confirming email. DID that 2x nothing, sent several emails to cxled nothing, sent a fax then someone called I asked for a accounting of my account waited got nothing, sent more emails.Mike emailed and said he was waiting to hear give it a few more days, I said No cxl and give me my refund and accounting.NOTHING again.Sent a email stating how unprofessional they were Mike emailed me back said sorry he was out of town and staff was busy it would get on it asap. Waited a week NOTHING. Sent a email on Jan. 30,14 demanding a accounting by Jan.31,14 by end of day. I received one within 4 hrs. with a accounting that had used the entire $1000.00, when I had only asked for a phone for $300.00. look at other reviews , they have done this to several other clients look at bob . STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They also go by Arbor Investigators.
