Not the best security company to work for. They mostly have construction sites and always make mistakes on your paycheck. Answer to response from owner: I'm sorry, but this was not an isolated experience. It happened to me multiple times a year every single year I worked for Iron Horse. I complained everytime, but nothing was ever done. What infuriated me the most was that I was penalized every time for your mistake by having to wait another two weeks to get paid. Once I was even paid a month later because I still wasn't paid after the two weeks even after I contacted you. So it's really not an isolated experience.

I have used Iron Horse Security in our commercial real estate portfolio across Canada for the past 5 years. They service 22 of our buildings providing access control and concierge type guard services. We have previously tried all of the big players in the security industry and NONE have cared or provided a similar level of customer service. Every guard they send us is thoroughly trained and skilled in customer service. There is not another company in Canada that can provide that level of care. Some of their employees don’t do their jobs and are never at their posts when required. Their website is also terrible and I was unable to contact them. Edit: This business also seems to accuse all of their negative reviews of being "spam". This says a lot about their company. Judge their response for yourself. Furthermore, each time I have tried to contact them about my issues using the contact form on their website, I receive the following error message: "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later." Perhaps they should be looking into fixing their website instead of trying to justify all their negative reviews by calling them "spam".

I have been working with Iron Horse for several years as a security guard. The experience has been great and my Managers are flexible, professional and quick to offer help when needed. I was stuck few times due to transportation and could not get home and their Mobile team gave me a ride. I have met most of my direct supervisor and managers and I believe hard work, dedication, honesty and good customer service will pay off no matter what company you work for.
