I hired Sly Fox to conduct a background check for me and I wish I had taken my money elsewhere. First of all, the report I requested (with two weeks lead time) was late, despite being met with understanding of my timeliness needs during the consult. The communication was unprofessional, I would reach out with an email, not get a reply, follow up a few days later with still no reply then I call the office where I finally get ahold of my case manager who must live in a bunker or the boonies because her connection is so bad I can never get more than 2 words from her without the call cutting out. When I called the day my report HAD to be done by (which it was not supplied that day anyways) I was not met with my report, I was told that they had not even “looked through” the documents and that I owed them more money. I was then told that I need to “get working on that invoice and she will get working on the report”, mind you this is after I have already paid the retainer. I paid my invoice promptly, I did not receive my report till the next day. I was not treated with professionalism through any step of this process. The consultation and online presence made me feel like these women would help me and keep me undated and treat me like a valuable client. Instead I was treated like someone who’s case did not matter at all. I am so disappointed in my experience. You’re better off going to a more reputable firm, I took a chance even though there are minimal reviews. Don’t make the same mistake I did. EDIT to reference companies false reply to this. Everything I have said above is true. Only because I am a polite and kind person does not mean that I had to regularly follow up to get information and had to reach out for status updates. If those calls were published they would show them saying exactly what I said regardless of me being kind on the phone. Attaching an example of poor communication, no reply and repeated reach outs by the client. I will repeat that I am incredibly disappointed. Don't let their lies deceive you.
