Run, don't walk away from this very, very dishonest & unscrupulous person Robin Martinelli. of Martinelli Investigations, Inc. who without my knowledge or consent charged my credit card twice for a total of $15,000 over the course of a couple of days back in late 2017. Yes, you read that correctly! I even saw her the days she did this & she made no mention what so ever of this. None. Zero. Zilch. I only learned when the bill arrived the next month & it took 3 months of dealing with the credit card company to finally relieve me of these bogus charges. And this $15,000 was after I had agreed & previously paid her company $10,000 which she told my wife would most likely cover her total expenses. She did very little to earn the $10,000, much less another $15,000. Please do yourself a favor and never, ever use Robin Martinelli. I pray this prevents others from being screwed & only regret that I didn't think until now to search & review such an unscrupulous person, company. Now a response to Robin Martinelli's response: I keep badgering you!!! Your dishonesty is unbelievable! After you took $15,000.00 from me via my credit card, I was informed by them I had to reach out to ask you for a refund which I did with an e-mail. You responded saying you would call me & I responded saying do it via e-mail. This is the only time I have reached out to your company. I was very, very, busy trying to get my $15,000.00 back from my credit card company that you took without my knowledge or consent! You better believe I was in contact a whole lot with them. I finally got the bright idea to do a review a few months ago to let others know how you operate. Please don't waste your prayers on me. Pray for the poor people that you have taken & most likely will take advantage of in the future. Better yet, pray for yourself because you are a dishonest, unscrupulous person.

As a former private investigator who also worked for Martinelli as well as other firms, I can tell you that the industry and nature of the work is extremely subjective. As in any business, you will not always be able to satisfy some clients. What I do know is that Ms. Martinelli has a strong work ethic, is passionate about her field and getting the job done. Sometimes it involves stepping on some toes, but I have never witnessed her giving up to get the information she needs. I have been a good friend of hers since she started in the industry and I promise she never wants to disappoint. Because the fieldwork of an investigation is labor-intensive, an investigator can often come across very assertive. However, that is what it takes to complete an investigation. And sometimes the client will be displeased with the result. Nature of the beast. I can tell you that Ms. Martinelli has a heart of gold and steel. Reviews are also subjective based on the reviewer and you really do not know which side of an investigation the reviewer falls on; offense or defense. Retainers and extra charges are consistent with attorneys, marketing consultants, an the like. It is not an exact science of what an investigation can cost; some are more labor-intensive than others, and road blocks which need to be navigated can increase the the charges. Investigators, just as any law enforcement and first responder, sees and witnesses the worst of the worst, so you build the walls up to keep yourself going. It is not an easy profession and I ask you please take my comments into consideration. I have known this professional for over 20+ years and have always admired her tenacity in building her business from the ground up!

But after she's got your life signed away in her ludicrous contracts, she then goes in for the kill. She charged me for things I didn't approve, showed up in court without prior approval(then charged me for it), and had the nerve to act as if nothing was wrong. She's a liar and a horrible business person. I give businesses credit for the work that they do and this lady gets no credit from me. Please do yourself a favor research more and find a private investigator with ethics.

She's nothing more than a salesperson with no interest in helping you. At first she acts 100% in your corner but rest assured she is not. When she presents you with a contract don't sign it. It'll cost you thousands more than it looks like. Buyer beware. Move on. As another Google user said RUN FAR AWAY.

I was very specific about our budget. Robin assured me they would not exceed that. She charged my credit card $5000 over our oral agreement. When I complained to my attorney, he stated that he doe's not use her any more. He said she use to be a great investigator years ago. Go right up to the door and get information. Now she does a poor job. She also had the gall to ask for more money and she did not do a good job. In fact, her investigators very likely lost our case in court. She will charge you an exorbitant amount of money and not do a proper job.

He came to court and testified on behalf of my defense based on statements that he took from witnesses in my case and I am sure that he was totally instrumental in helping my attorney win my case. This company is well worth the fees which by the way were very reasonable. Definitely had an accomplished and and competent investigator. I hope to never be in a position again in which I would need his services but if I were I would hire them in a heart beat. Best ever.

I call Robin for all my private investigative and process server needs. This case I had just recently involved a war veteran that was also a quadriplegic. He was injured after an incident that occurred at his apartment complex. The incident involved a default in the apartment complex's compliance with safety regulations. Robin helped me to serve 40 witness subpoenas in a time frame of 7 days and take pictures at the scene of the incident and around the complex. She also interviewed and convinced three key witnesses, a police officer and two teachers to come and give their testimony. Her private investigation and due diligence of getting everyone served in a timely manner resulted in a huge win for my client and my firm, with a settlement of 4.3 million! After interviewing the jury on the decision, it was revealed that the testimony of the three key witnesses was the deciding factor that was in favor of the plaintiff, my client. I will continue to use Martinelli Investigations for all my court and trial prep.

Terrible experience and would NOT recommend! They promised to deliver proof in the form of pictures, video and audio of the target subject. I never received anything. All I had was a meeting where they told me what they saw.There was no proof. I could handle the limited deliverables and chalk it up to experience. However it got worse than simply not getting what I was promised - they charged my credit card without my authorization which I am now having to dispute. The contract I signed said they could not go over the retainer amount without my prior approval. After telling me their investigation was complete, they told me they went over the retainer amount anyway. I told them I would not pay the extra but a few days later they charged my credit card without my knowledge. This company is not ethical. Stay away!

My sister's husband had been seeing other women on the side and despite my attempts to prove this to my sister, she refused to believe me. Their relationship was abusive but she wouldn't get out of it. I had to help her so I called Martinelli Investigations and explained my situation. They were incredibly helpful and when I went for a consultation, they showed gave me a background check. It turns out he's abused other women as well. Once I retained them, they continually sent updates and evidence of all the women he's cheating on my sister with. Thank god for Robin because now they're divorced, he's in jail, and my sister is healthy and happy.

Wow where do I even begin?? Last year my family encountered a tragedy where my son was taken by his mother and never received communication again! In disbelief and unaware of how to proceed with this situation I looked and looked to see who would be able to help my family and I! As I sit here and write this tears start to fall down my face but not tears of sadness, actual tears of joy that I can finally be a part of his life like I dreamed of since the day he was taken! Without the service of robin Martinelli and her team my son and I wouldn't be sitting here next to each other living the beautiful life that we are!! I paid $3,000 and never even received the paperwork nor a follow up. I called Martinelli Investigations when I wanted to start searching for my birth parents and Robin asked me to send her an email stating exactly what I wanted with all the information I had and stated that if she couldn't find any information she wouldn't charge me! I send in my request and she got back to me with real results in minutes! It wasn't insanely expensive and I got in contact with my birth parents right away. Thank You Robin!
