We have a service request out there with no updates, no results and it is impossible to get to anyone other than the sales department. They do not provide status information - it has been over 3 weeks since the case was sent to them and nothing! Do not waste your time and money on this place - there are other companies that are responsive!

I hired the Madera Process One servers--they were fairly accommodating about the filing but actually failed to file the proof of service OR EVEN let me know in response to an email that it had not been filed according to a court ordered deadline. When I spoke with Adrian she was argumentative, said that that never happened and she was not asked to file the document (which I forwarded the email confirmation of) and when I asked for a call from a supervisor I was hung up on. If there is a way to complain re: their registration I will probably try to figure out how..... :(

I requested a subpoena on in March of 2021. By June there was nothing done. I asked why and they said it fell through the cracks. They promised they would get on it but didn't answer when I asked for copies of the documents that were sent to the court.. I asked them for copies of the documents with no response. Unprofessional.. And to make matters worse, when I complained about the above and threatened to submit this review, Jim Reynolds from Process Server One called me and told me we cannot do business with people that complain. OK I can see who we are working with here. They said they would send me my docs so I could handle on my own. Hopefully they do.

After 30 years in the legal profession, I can honestly say this was the worst process service company I have ever worked with. First to start with they will charge you up front. Their servers are absolute liars when they tell you they have attempted service and the business was closed yet they attempt to go back at 9:00 pm? (body shop) I can't remember the last time I saw a body shop open at 9:00 p.m. Their billing is uncoordinated, I got a quote of $125.00 from one case manager then I get billed for $150.00 (I will give them that they corrected the billing right away). So I gave up and hired another process server the following day and what a surprise all my 3 Defendants were served IN PERSON. I called and email the case manager to please call me back to discuss (this was 48 hours ago) and still he has not called me. Don't waste your money find someone who can do the job properly without robbing you. Now the most amazing thing is? Yelp has only posted their 5 star reviews WOW.

Things with PSO went sideways after a difficult serve. We had to scramble and hire a PI to accomplish the serve. PSO was never able to answer any of our basic questions about what happened with the attempt. When I requested a cost adjustment, they just charged the card we had on file without responding. My bookkeeper then discovered the invoices they sent to us which were approved did not match the amounts they charged our card. We had to block them from using our firm card.

Avoid this joke of a company. I knew when I saw they were a DBA something was fishy, I was right. They took my payment for a simple service for a small claims case. Basically they just stole my money. They don't contact you with updates, the only thing I have received from the company since signing up has been additional sales emails! When I finally got someone on the phone (a sales rep), they made a quick check and said they made attempts but no one was home, no lights on. Really? You are serving an elderly woman, who is retired, during a pandemic, and she signed for a certified mail at the same address. When I lashed out at the company, some clown named Jim told his office manager to file a lawsuit. That was their customer service response. So file a lawsuit on me because I signed up for your service and you didn't do your job? Save your money and go elsewhere.

Before placing any order with this company I called them to find out the cost. I was specifically told that someone would call me to approve the cost before the order was processed. That they "would never charge without telling you the cost first". This never happened. I placed the order online as instructed by the person I spoke with. Later in the day I received an email stating that my card was charged nearly $300. I assumed that since I had been charged they had gone ahead and served the papers. The next morning I requested a status updated and was told they had 5-7 business days to complete it since it wasn't a rush order. I said that the time frame wasn't the problem the issue was the cost and the fact that I was told I would have the opportunity to approve the charge. She attempted to contact who ever would be in charge of that but couldn't contact them and told me someone would call me back. Later that day I did receive a call back from a man, named Jim, that said he was the one that would have been in charge of doing the pricing and such. He requested that I send him an email with my documents and that we would go from there, because I explained that I was upset I was charged and never approved the amount even though I was told I would have that opportunity. He told me on the phone that "they have been in business for 30 years and that it would be no problem for them to refund my money if that is what needed to happen." I emailed him back to tell him to cancel my order and refund my money. I was then told it was too late. Additionally on their website it asks for you budget. I selected $100-$200 and was then charged $270. I have worked in property management professionally and have had several notices served to tenants, never have I seen it cost that much to serve someone a notice. I would have never thought it would be over $100 much less nearly $300
