A while ago my family and I lost my very old grandpa as he had just gone missing one day. It was very worrying to us as a family and we therefore opted to try out MI-5 Investigations. David and his team did not disappoint. I am really happy with David and MI-5 Investigations.

Hired them for an investigation, that they said would take a week and would be followed with a written report. After a week, we got nothing and we called in to find that more time was needed. After two weeks, we called again, and it seems nothing was found, but there was no report given and we were the ones chasing them to get the results.

To respond to your comment to my first one about sending me anything when you "returned" you know you didn't. If you had I wouldn't of even bothered with this review. That was where my dissapointment sat in the first place and what I complained about. You are right it was last minute and I was grateful. Thank you for that and no thank you for the rest. You have a way with words, you spin them graciously. Kudos to you on your rebuttals, it's great how you respond to google reviews and not calls or text messages. You had 5 hours to respond to me and I'm sure that wasn't all spent driving. I'm sure you aren't a bad guy but falling out of communication is just bad business man. Good luck henceforth I don't wish bad on anyone, just hope you can adjust the way you do what you do to better serve your clients. First review -> Last minute, (distressed because I got a call from the property manager at the building I own a unit in) I called this guy and all he had to do was go to see if my tenant was moving out and follow her so that I may take her to small claims court for 6 months of unpaid rent. He asked for $250 - though his rate last time I called was 50 an hour, I said yes anyway. She was trying to move out and skip out on rent. He showed up, made the conclusion she wasn't moving out and left. Spent probably 20 minutes there. Property manager called me back and said she was in fact moving out and I called him again to see if he could turn around he said he would. He never did, but, in the meantime he accepted my etransfer took my 250 and stopped answering his phone. Don't pay anyone until the job is done! Especially this guy. He would have been amazing since he actually did it right away (but that was before I paid). If you would have at least had the courtesy to answer your phone or reply to me that you in fact were choosing not to help me out or at least work for what I paid for then I would not of written this review. I couldn't afford to pay you but I did and you did even less then the bare minimum. No respect or decency, I feel ripped off and disappointed.

In a last ditch effort to catch my spouse cheating i hired David after being referred by a friend. I had already hired a company and spent 8 weeks and to much money to get no results. It was a very sensitive case because of who my wife is and where she works. I have been amazed with the results and both the video and photographic evidence gathered put the nail in her coffin and won my court case. MI-5 Investigations superseded my expectations and i would recommend them to anybody.

Beware of this SCAMMER. Do not give this man your money, he'll take it and you won't see him again. He provides nothing as promised and will disappear as soon as he's paid. He's not even LICENSED BY THE COUNCIL OF PROFESSIONAL INVESTIGATORS cpiontario.ca Contact them directly if you want to hire a legitimate PI service.

I used to be a judge. I am disabled. Never once returns a phone call. Is never aware of the facts,must always be refreshed after sending him documents. Said he would close the file,never did. I put it to him he did nothing. I find he has zero credibility. Either blatantly dishonest, or totally incompetent. I prefer the former. Return my $600.00 for which you did absolutely nothing. Stop hiding behind your emails. It is incredulous that after 2 months I have never heard from you, and I am not a scintilla ahead. Pitiful and blatantly dishonest.

Don't waste your time and money with this individual. We hired him for a simple case, locating 2 persons, delivering paperwork to them, and photographing for confirmation. 5 weeks into his "investigation", he had no results whatsoever, and managed to produce nothing more than a photograph of a neighbours' house. Even considering we gave him much information to go on, he could not seem to give ANY type of result. He was very attentive and responsive to our needs UP UNTIL he was paid. Following that, he dodged our emails, and was very unprofessional and condescending with my wife when he did bother to reply. He requested additional money after his stated fees were paid, claimed to spend "hours" of time in surveillance, and to call the individual "over 30 times", but could not fulfill a single one of his promises. After wasting our money here, we went elsewhere, and another competent investigator gave us results within 48 hours WITH an address and photograph. This individual cannot be considered trustworthy or reliable. In retort to your reply, David, you really should check your information before you make such ridiculous comments. Oh, I forgot, you don't take notes...in a 45-minute long consultation with you (in a bar instead of an office, how fitting) you didn't write down a single thing. That should have been enough to let us know what type of individual you are. It's too bad we didn't check you out more thoroughly in advance, then we would have been aware of the fraud and extortion incidents in your past. The exact information that you found "varied and useless" yielded results in 2 days when given to a competent and decent investigator. Are we all living "happily ever after"? What a pathetic comment, as that was not the point of the exercise now, was it? We have retained all emails, and know exactly what has been said, maybe in future you should do the same. There was NEVER any reference to my wife being a single mother, and she mentioned me several times in her emails to you. Your own words stated that YOU capped YOUR fee due to the information that was given. Our loss that we didn't choose a true professional, instead of a self-styled, smooth talking confidence man who thinks he's James Bond...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY! He is a fraud! Claims he can get the address listed under the phone number which I inquired about. Source from Dallas does not exist! The number I wanted information on is a personal number I know this for a fact as hes been blackmailing me for number of months, and as result he gives me an information, a first result which you get when you type the number on google! And guess what the address he gives me is Yorkdale Mall! LOL I have no clue how I'm going to get my money back from this scammer, put me on blacklist already. From honesty of my heart do not trust this guy all the claims he makes is false. Put your money somewhere else a legit service!
