Unfortunately, due to an impending divorce proceeding, it was necessary for us to utilize the services of Legal Investigations, Inc. It was after great consideration and research that we (my daughter) decided to contract with them. It was an absolutely great decision. Immediately after contacting them and speaking with Rick Alpert, it was evident that this company was staffed by a group of dedicated, experienced, and caring professionals. Mr. Alpert took time to explain what services they could provide, and did so in a truly compassionate and concerned way. In fact, there were times that Mr. Alpert would contact my daughter just to ask how she was doing and if she was OK. We came to know him as a person we could rely on and depend on. He never failed us. His compassion and caring was very evident. Throughout this ordeal, we were constantly amazed at the level of professionalism the investigators exhibited, the amazing work they were able to accomplish and their willingness to go well above and beyond in order to protect our interests and provide us with the tools and evidence to further our position in the divorce proceeding. The actual "street" work that they did was phenomenal. I am still in awe of what they were able to see, do and document for us. Additionally, there were numerous times we would ask them on short notice or at the very last minute to respond, and they never let us down. Not once. I am writing this review simply because, at a very stressful and anxious time in our life, this group of professionals did what they said they would do, which was to dedicate themselves to serving our needs, and helping us to the best of their ability. They did and we will be forever grateful.

Their team was extremely professional, honest, thoughtful and easy to work with throughout the investigation. I appreciated their ability and willingness to work with me to tailor the investigation to my needs, bringing their deep expertise in the field and ideas but also encouraging me to share my thoughts and entertaining my ideas and approaches. TWENTY STARS for Legal Investigations. They provide outstanding, flawless work. Their professionalism is beyond reproach. These folks are compassionate as well as exceedingly competent. I see a reviewer here who must be married to my husband. Confronting a spouse multiple times over years and being told I am crazy, imagining things and jealous while being cheated on repeatedly through emotional affairs and physical affairs is abusive beyond belief. I wish that no one would endure the pain of gaslighting from narcissistic abuse. Trust your intuition the first time and call upon Mike, Rick and the team to swoop in and help you. Lesson learned— don’t wait. When you think it’s happening, it is!— only worse. Our mind wants to hope that the person we love is not actually going through with the unimaginable, but they are. (I actually thought there was a chance my spouse was visiting a church or walking his dog). The mind plays tricks when you are continually told by your spouse that the things you see, suspect and know aren’t real, because the pain of finding the truth after suspecting for so long is so stunningly painful that our brain tries to protect us. Rick was right there with outstanding advice and they got the job done. These are good people. Call them as soon as you suspect some it wrong; don’t wait.

I retained Legal Investigations, Inc to conduct surveillance to observe and videotape a woman who had taken the client's child across state lines in defiance of a court order. The father had not seen his child in over a year since the mother had gone "off the grid" to avoid detection. With one day's notice, the operatives were able to perform the necessary investigation and surveillance to obtain the evidence law enforcement needed to recover the child. This is not the first occasion I have retained the services of Legal Investigations, Inc. and it will not be the last. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services; they are beyond professional. If it were possible I'd give them 10 stars! I cannot say enough positive things about this organization. Everything from our initial meeting, to all of the hours of surveillance, to the trial where they testified, Legal Investigations was the definition of professionalism. Our case involved the safety/security of children. Legal Investigations made sure we were kept in the loop, often times on a minute by minute basis. There were multiple times when I called about a potential active threat towards the kids, and with little to no warning, Rick would completely rearrange the schedule to get eyes on them fast. Having that kind of dedication is a rare thing these days, and thanks in part to that dedication, the kids are in a much safer environment today. I also appreciated that they make sure you're aware of the financial status along the way; i.e. they don't spend your money until you authorize it, so there's no surprises. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation where you need to hire a private investigator, then Legal Investigations is the company to call.
