My condo has had team IGI security for several years now and they are great. Professional and helpful and always friendly. It is great to have them at the front desk. We had two other security companies before IGI took over the services and wished we had found IGI sooner. The other company guards when faced with an incident (such as drunken jerks, threatening persons) would turn a blind eye but IGI guards take action.

They're operation is illegal. From the language they use with their guards, lying about pay. And with holding wages earned upon departure from company. Any other company is better than this one. They make you wait a year for benefits, Take you off schedule when you apply. Give you the run around for weeks. Then when you call, they tell you you're fired. And they don't pay the severance owed. Yet, they claim to be law enforcement. Dispicable

If your looking to join the Ontario police force, IGI would be a good way to start. They work with a lot of POLICE and you will learn so much while your on the job. They have the best supervisor named ANDRE MATTHEW. He is so good, he cares about everyone and is always there to help you. Andre wants too see everyone accomplish their goals. He's the true definition of a good boss (leader). Andre is understanding, caring, kind, honest, respectful patient and helpful. He doesn't make you do anything against your will. Andre will always show up to your work site to check up on you and provide you with all the necessary skills needed, he will also give you a bit of advice and show you how the job is done. He plans events for everyone (security & loss prevention security)to come together, get to know one another and have fun. If you're interested in this job I strongly suggest you go through ANDRE MATTHEW or ask for him. He will protect you and make sure your always happy on and off the job.

Andre Matthews is a really good supervisor/trainer and looks out for the best interest of his employees. I worked there for 6 months and he really helped me develop my skills as a loss prevention specialist to the point that I was making numerous of arrest on a daily basis. I really got a lot of experience working here and the only downside is the travelling and you get your schedule on a weekly basis.

While majority of the vendors I work with are great, none has surpassed the professionalism and high-quality customer service that IGI has provided throughout the years. They care deeply about our residents and go out of their way to make sure that we receive the best security coverage. The entire IGI support and operations team is amazing to work with and are always coming up with intuitive tools and operations to better their client's experience. IGI also highly value their client's feedback and actually take action! They also curated specific security procedures based on our building's need. You can talk to them about your main concerns and they'll deliver.

I have heard complaints about withholding pay, which I'm not ready to say are true yet, but it is a red flag. For me, the bigger issue is service consistency for investigative work. We've had too many incidents where nobody shows up when scheduled.

I can honestly say that I feel fortunate to have been able to work for the investigators group. The amount of experience, advisement, and skill that you receive-that is essential or your future- is unlike any other I’ve obtained from any other corporation. The most impactful factor to my enjoyment of this job was my supervisor at the time, Andre Matthew.
