Why are so many people employed by Paladin security so uneducated and under-trained? As a private security company the least you can do is ensure your employees have a basic understanding of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the ability to communicate in English. They should also know that they need to identify themselves when asked by a member of the public. Your company wastes valuable police resources time and time again due to the severe lack of proper training and attempts to interfere with lawful activities.

I had the pleasure of working for this garbage company for a year and a half in Calgary. All parts of upper management were completely useless. The told me they required to pick up overtime on my days off but then would not pay me overtime wage. If you like a steady income i would strongly suggests other security companies. I would give negative stars if i could.

I love working for this company. I have worked for the calgary office for approximately 8 months now and recently got a promotion in BC with them! I have learned a lot even though I have been in security for some time and I have a superb boss who i feel has my back as their subordinate. Would definately recommend working for them!

My recommending is try to get a job in another security Companies try all the companies in Calgary then if you don't get a job then you can submit your Resume for working with them and I hope you not get a job with them ... Believe me I listened to many people they worked with them they said they are not professional to handle with people and they think the people is goods not human.

Not impressed. Still waiting for Flir hard drive to be replaced after they discovered the problem about two months ago. They don't respond to emails. They're happy to take your money to install the system, but after that, if you have a problem you have to hound them to get service.

I've been working for 2 months. Paid training, paid uniform, even dry cleaning refunds. Their app and website are professional and easy to navigate, lots of courses to take for free and opportunities to grow. Paychecks are transparent and never come late. They offered me a great schedule and it's been a great experience to work with Paladin. If you have good rapport and want to explore the security industry, this team will take good care of you

After being belittled by GPS security I called Paladin and was greeted by a pleasant lady who offered me the quotes I needed. The professionalism on the phone really impressed me. Hopefully the quality of the service is as consistent.

Went to apply for a job a while ago. The recruiting person was very rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I highly do not recommend working here, I’ve heard nothing but negative things about this organization and their guards.

The guards are working hard, however, the hiring process is so slow and unfriendly. Highly not recommended to go there, incompetent, unorganized and poor treatment by the office staff, specialy one of the hiring manager named Debi is very arrogant. Her treatment and attitude towards applicants is highly condemnable. She even lie under the teeth and behavior is very inhumane.

I've been with Paladin for many years in YYC, and it's truly an awful company to work for. Upper management is subpar considering its reach throughout Canada. Calgary senior management T and S are a pretty big joke around the office (think Ren and Stimpy). Get ready to bend over, cause Paladin will strip you of everything you have, and leave you feeling totally defeated. They are successful based on how pathetically cheap they are. Mr.Cooper should be ashamed of the garbage he has working for him. Such a shame

Absolutely awful Calgary office. Husband works for them. They bully him into being a robot and he is not allowed to take a sick day for himself OR his kids or they will suspend him/take him off site. My husband has missed approx 8 days this year (Jan-dec) and four of those days were for the birth of our third child and were offered to him. Then he gets an injury and is suspended because he had a doctors note! He has an incredible record with them, and is very good at his job and with the clowns, yet they bully him into disregarding his family's needs, or he'll get fired. Absolutely awful how I am made fully responsible to take all the time off for our kids if they're sick or need to stay home for any reason. And we have three! Thankfully I work for such an amazing employer who understands the value of family and allows me the time to be with my children when they need me the most.. unlike paladin, who will fire you if your child gets sick! DO NOT WORK FOR CALGARY PALADIN!!!!

Very low pay! Unless your a student or what not.. I don't understand how they expect to attract the right people OR provide a decent income... interviewer was also extremely unprofessional, arrogant and stuck up. I felt as though I should have been interviewing her... Pretty disappointing to say the least. DON'T EXPECT A DECENT INCOME! Maybe as a second job...

Only started recently in the AHS side but so far has been great. Instructors are top tier, extremely knowledgeable. the MGMT is a breeze to interact, with super friendly and approachable. There's a strong focus on continued learning and growth. There is lots of potential for advancement too.
