What an excellent experience! Dr Ivey is knowledgeable and compassionate and remembered every part of initial requests made before surgery for months afterward during follow up visits. The survey itself was successful and delivered exactly what Dr Ivey said it would. Be is an excellent medical professional. In addition, the office and medical staff were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly and helped turn a traumatic experience into something much more manageable. I’m a very detail oriented and “picky” person and I found this crew to be exceptionally together for every part of the experience.

I broke my nose surfing, it was crooked and kinda painful. I went directly to to get it x-rayed and fixed but was sent home and told to let it heal crooked and deal with it. It looked out of place, it felt out of place, I could see more nose with my right eye and less with my left. I called Dr. Ivey for a second opinion two days later. He was able to pull my X-rays without any hassle. He knew exactly what to do and had me in the next day where he stayed after hours to get my nose straight while it was still freshly broken. It was an eye watering experience but it felt so good to have it back it the right place. His staff is awesome and had me laughing on my way out. It’s been 5 weeks and my nose looks great, you can’t even tell it was ever broken. If you have any kind of injury call him for advice before convincing yourself to just deal with it, I’m so thankful I did. Thank you Dr. Ivey!

When I got to the office, I was waited on immediately to take care of the new patient information. Then taken right into the exam room. It was only 2-3 minutes before the doctor came in. He could see the place where a tiny shard of glass was in the tip of my right index finger. This was painful when using it, especially since I'm right handed. He said he could remove it right away. Once I lost the weight, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get rid of the excess skin-which was significant. I went to Dr Ivey to repair a very horrible incisional hernia from a previous back surgery I was so upset that I stopped wear a bathing suit and stopped surfing and going to the beach when people were around. It had created a lack of support for my back making continuing major back issues due to the on going lack of abdominal support. When the surgery was done he had to repaired the hernia and so much more AND it turned out amazing! I am so happy my back is strong I stand up straight again I feel confident and bought a new bathing suit!! I am reclaiming my active life pain free with strength and confidence and a firm fabulous abdomen! I have lipomatosis (many lipomas removed and growing constantly) and went to ER with one in my right bicep that was impinging nerves or something making it very painful to use my arm at all. ER referred me to Dr. Ivey who saw me the next day and did a flawless and painless removal in his beautiful new operating theater. No complications and the pain is completely gone without meds. This was my first experience with cosmetic surgery so I was super nervous. I knew nothing about plastic surgery and I didn't know what procedure would be best for what I wanted-- just to contour my jawline. From my first consultation with Dr. Ivey, I was sure this was the doctor I wanted to see. He knew right away which procedures I needed for my face shape, which were less extreme than I had been anticipating. He suggested a buccal fat excision and neck liposuction, and I'm glad he had extensive training in plastic surgery in the face because I would have had no idea and assumed I would have my jawbone shaved or something. The surgery experience was very comfortable! I was surprised-- it was actually more pleasant than a dentist visit! I was awake under local anesthesia, and he and the nurse kept me comfortable and talked to me during the whole procedure. There was minimal pain afterwards. I didn't even need the pain medication he prescribed. He likes to check in often for post-op appointments to see how I'm recovering, and I'm doing really well. I can see the results starting to show. All his nurses have been so kind and friendly during my appointments. He and his team are excellent. 10/10 best plastic surgeon, will visit again for more ????

I had an enormous melanoma removed from my scalp that left a huge hole. Dr Ivey had the job of closing over the hole, not an easy procedure considering the skin is tight on the scalp. He did an amazing job of creating skin flaps to cover it without even shaving my hair. Yes it was painful afterwards and I wish I had stronger pain meds but he did a state of the art repair. He is a great guy and the office staff are helpful and nice.
