I do not usually write google reviews, however I had to share my experience because I was so pleased with the services and results. Dr. Akbari is professional, expert, but most importantly honest. There is no upselling, just professional educated advice from an expert. This is by far the best skincare clinic I have ever experienced.

First time at Monarch MD clinic and the service from when you enter to when you leave is So Amazing. Dr.Eli Akbari is extremely skilled and has an excellent artistic eye. I had Botox and dermal fillers procedure for the first time and all I can say is that, it was an incredible relief to find myself in the hands of such an expert. I was initially dreading this procedure but she was so gentle and the procedure was painless in the end. The transformation of her procedure has been incredible, leaving me so much more confident about my appearance. Even, the aftercare once the procedure is complete was so thorough and they supply you with more than you need to ensure the best outcome. The follow up appointment is booked before you leave so you have nothing to worry about. The best thing was having the procedure done straight away. Also, I felt completely at ease and reassured under Dr. Eli Akbari’s care. Her expertise is admirable! The clinic is tastefully decorated and the staff were wonderful. I’ve had Botox done at Monarch MD with Dr. Eli Akbari and I highly recommend her. One of the main reasons I picked her for Botox was mainly because of her qualifications as a board certified facial plastic surgeon. This was important to me for two reasons, the first because of safety reasons, and the second because she understands facial anatomy and as well as how the facial features all work together. I also like her natural style and how she makes you look “real”. I was quite pleased with her bedside manner and found her very calm, professional, and thorough with her explanations of what we she was going to do and why. I was super nervous but her confidence made me feel really comfortable. I ended up having Botox in my forehead to soften my frown lines and was really happy with how natural it turned out. She also recommended that I lightly treat my developing crows feet’s for preventative measure. My brows still move and I still have expression around my eyes. Im really happy with the results and will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend Dr. Akbari.

I only give 2 stars. Although Dr Akbari and her staffs were very nice and welcoming and the office was very well designed, I was not happy with the results of my injections. It only lasted for not even a full month. I had told they’ve injected more than 50 units to my forehead and around my eyes but it started to fade after 2 weeks and after one month I started to see the wrinkles on my frown lines.

Normally, practitioners inject Botox where they see the wrinkles. This approach ends up relaxing the underlying muscle in an unharmonized manner, this is why Botoxed faces look abnormal and unnatural. In contrast, Dr. Akbari while explaining the injection spots for a trainee, was targeting the wrinkle-producing muscles wisely. This mastery of facial micro-structures had two benefits. Firstly, she refused to waste Botox and money on the wrinkles that would not respond to Botox injection. Secondly, the wrinkles faded in a very harmonized and natural manner. I almost always have to keep watching the lab personnel and other healthcare professionals to ensure that they follow sterile procedure and do not give me Hepatitis C or HIV when drawing my blood or doing any kind of injections. While Dr. Akbari was preparing the necessities, I saw that she, as a surgeon, is used to keep her hand movements surgically clean and avoided contaminating the stuff like it has been carved in her nature. So, I could close my eyes and enjoyed a worry free experience which is not easy to come by in majority of medical places, even high end ones.
