I've seen Chelsea probably 10 times over several years. Our meetings are always caused my chronic fight with acne. She's supportive and always asks me what my dermatologist is prescribing and then makes suggestions based on that information. I think its an added bonus she's worked in a medical spa too. I've had peels, dermabrasion and facials- all of which drastically help me skin either by encouraging new healthier skin to grow and lessening the swelling of my face caused by the acne. I'm very grateful Chelsea loves what she does, because it shows through her work. I always come out looking and feeling better than when I went in.

That being said, don’t forget to ask about their Gold and Luxe memberships when you go in! It’s well worth it. :)

I came in to schedule a lash lift last Sunday expecting to need to put it further down the line but to my surprise they could fit me in that day! At first I was a bit cautious because I have never done anything cosmetic before but Meg was very welcoming and more than happy to explain the process to a newcomer like me. The store and rooms are very calming and clean, the music wasn't too loud and the temperature was just right (as someone who gets cold very easily this was a huge bonus.) The overall process was far more soothing than I expected and Meg made sure I was comfortable throughout. I was prepared to see very little change because my lashes are pretty long but very straight, so I was happily surprised when I sat up and immediately saw how fluffy and curled my lashes were. They are still beautifully curled and I couldn't love them more! If you're on the fence like I was about trying a lash lift, trust your lashes to La Bella Derma and you will love your results!

Rebecca was AMAZING. She was beyond friendly and had some awesome recommendations for not just me but my mom as well! They took that into consideration when doing the lift on my mom and I and they both turned out GREAT! I am giving this two stars in hopes, it can’t be erased. It has taken me years to have the courage to write this, As I have been terrified of being threatened with action of an attorney. The owner spends more energy on her reputation with reviews than her spa. I ask you to not support this woman. I remember sitting down for my interview as her first spa Manager. The question her husband asked " why do you want to work for the best esthetician in Vermont ? " The question threw me off completely , as I never even heard of her before and how dare he think that she is better than everyone else in this field and she just let him say at while she is blushing. To be a business who supports " real" women, how can you say that you are the best ? What do you mean by " real" ? Because this brings up another memory. One of my clients was a transgender woman who came in routinely for exfoliation. This client tipped $100 a service, she was the most generous client, upon telling the owner CHELSEA about this in awe, she then started to block off my schedule when this client would come in and would take her appointments and stole her. On top of this she even said after she left " IT KIND OF FREAKS ME OUT HOW SHE USE TO BE A MAN" Also during the holidays she would only play Christmas music stating " AMERICA IS A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY " .. actually it was founded by Deism, Chelsea. She did not pay me on time and instead of taking fault for messing up my direct deposit account and routing , I was told that I didn't give her the right numbers because she use to work at a bank and would never mess that up. Probably one of the oddest things that I had to go through was the invasive mistrust. Cameras were set up through out the spa, With microphones. Every day which she wasn't at the spa, she would then watch and listen to everything. Personal conversations, Interactions, to see how much work you were actually doing. One time I even got an email from Chelsea, regarding a conversation I had with the only other employee at work. She had me thinking that this other worker was two faced but we later figured out that Chelsea was recording everything. When I was finally forced out this was what I was given in email, right before the holidays. Mind you, that first warning NEVER HAPPENED. Mind you that the warning also came, right after a shift where I made a comment about how a picture of her looked like it was before she had a baby, which probably hurt her but you shouldn't listen in to conversations. *Used cell phone on floor * - well duh, I was the manager. I contacted employees, watched our social media and reached out to clients. *Leaving the floor several times during shift * - DUHHH.. There was an office with product, I also have to pee and poop and eat. * 4 customer complaints * - DUHHH. If I'm getting complaints about one service, maybe it's the expired product or the fact that I am not getting proper training from the owner. And My license was active, I spoke to Ashley Cota after. After I quit, her husband then comes to my new place of work and threatens me ( HEALTHY LIVING). He pointed the finger at me and insisted that I wrote a false negative review and contacted the state about her cheating in the seven days awards Ceremony. Like you think I have the push in Burlington to do that? I finally have the knowledge to know my rights and the courage to not be silenced by my fear of legal action by you, Chelsea. This is my closure. You are judgmental, egotistical and a bully. And so is your husband. P.s. If you dare try reaching out to intimidate me, I WILL post it everywhere. -Lily

I’ve been going to Chelsea for years and have always loved what she has done for my skin. She knows exactly what my skin needs at the time of my facial and uses the best and safest (especially during my pregnancies) products. I decided to become a member and my only regret is not doing it sooner. My skin has never looked better! I have a 24/7 glow, my lines have smoothed out and although I’ve been asked what kind I’m wearing, I no longer wear ANY makeup. On top of how amazing my skin looks and feels, I also do it for my mental health. I’m a stay at home mom of a 5 and 3 year old, and as much as I love it, it can be hard and tiring, especially during a pandemic. Knowing that I have at least one hour on my calendar each month to relax, be free of all noise and responsibilities, and get pampered, truly makes the hard days easier. Yesterday I got a lash tint and eyebrow tint. I was debating getting extensions for a while but I decided to try the tint and lift as I love curled lashes but I don’t want them to keep breaking off when I use my curler 3-4 times a day! Rebecca did my lashes and they came out Better than I could’ve imagined! Rebecca was so kind and professional! She really made me feel at ease and my lashes look AMAZING! There were so many great options for services, but Meg helped customize both what I wanted and needed. It was comfortable and informative. I enjoyed my entire time there, including the services.
