I was nervous about getting my 4 wisdom teeth out but the nurses and Dr. Naito made me feel very comfortable before and after my surgery and all the staff were extremely professional. Everything went smoothly and before I knew it the procedure was done and I was ready to go home. The website is very informative for what to do and expect after surgery and I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Naito took the time to check up on me that evening after my surgery. I would highly recommend Okanagan Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

I had a wonderful experience at Okanagan Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates - Kelowna. I had my 4th and last lower wisdom tooth removed as my dentist in Kamloops refused to take it out with the other 3 about 10 years ago as it was too close to a nerve. Their dental office didn't have the equipment to see whether the nerve was as close as the 2D picture showed and didn't want to risk damaging the nerve, possibly causing facial paralysis (thank goodness). Now, years down the road, it was causing a lot of pain and my GP referred me to Okanagan Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates where they were confident they could complete the procedure without serious complications. Also, as a Type 1 Diabetic it is extremely important that my blood sugar levels are stable while under general anaesthesia, especially after having to fast for 8 hours prior to the procedure. The nurses were all very reassuring and attentive, making me feel comfortable and well taken care of before and right through until after I woke up and had my ride ready to drive me home. They gave clear aftercare instructions to both myself and my boyfriend when he picked me up, just in case my head was still a bit foggy as I may not remember everything once home. Dr White also came in briefly to reassure me that everything went as planned and encouraged me to contact the office if I had any questions after leaving. Post surgery I had no complications, just some swelling and soreness that was expected. I followed the aftercare instructions and healed up quite nicely! Thank you sincerely to all the staff at Okanagan Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, I'd recommend you to anyone needing your services! A well deserved 5 stars. Cheers!

As a first nation woman who feared the Denist. Because of my childhood experiences they had hurt me. Then I met Dr.Bell he really is the best and doesn't even hurt you. He tells you what is going on before he does anything plus he freezes your mouth to feel no pain you feel nothing. Please my brother's and sister's Do yourself a favor and check him out. I've never met a most compassionate person who is very caring. Dr. Bell paid for my whole process of $8,800 How many people do you know who believe in you to do something this awesome. I have only praise for OOMSA - Kelowna. I had to have a canine tooth removed surgically and also a cyst removed from the roof of my mouth. EVERYone I was in contact with was professional, caring, efficient and they made this scared old lady comfortable, positive and feeling safe in their hands. I was in and out within an hour. I was given great after care instructions and prescriptions. Also... their clinic space seem very well appointed and their waiting area is decorated beautifully.

I got my wisdom teeth removed here on Thursday and I am extremely happy with my whole experience! I had to get sedated to get them out and was very nervous, but everyone I came in contact with was very sweet and made my experience very pleasant. Dr. White did a excellent job! I didn’t really have any bruising after which was a pleasant surprise because I knew they were challenging to get out seeing they were impacted and not at all close to the surface. I was happy with the consultation and how he went through everything with me and told me the risks and concerns and such. Didn’t have any issues with regards to insurance stuff. I went in today to make sure everything was still looking good and Dr. White was very nice and happy to listen to my concerns and help out in any way he could. Highly recommend Okanagan Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates to anyone who’s looking for a place to get their wisdom teeth removed!

It was my first time attending this office, not knowing what to expect after having bad experiences with other medical professionals in Kelowna. As soon as I enter, I was immediately brought into the office without having to wait around. The appointment was quick but thorough. Dr. Naito was very knowledgeable, personable and seemed like he really cared. The office assistants were very friendly and kind, particularly Paddy who was very attentive and able to get me in for a followup appointment with a relatively short wait. I had 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Naito this morning (the two on the bottom were impacted)! The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable (even when I shed a tear from nervousness lol). The IV went in and what felt like 1 minute later they were waking me up saying that they were all done! It was a painless experience. Very pleased with Dr. Naito and all the staff that walked me through everything every step of the way. 10/10 would recommend, and would do again (if I had to, haha)

I have been terrified of dentists my entire life. Needless to say that I was very anxious but very in need of seeing somebody, the first dentist I went to prior to seeing Doctor Naito told me there was nothing she could do for me as I am 18 weeks pregnant. I explained I had been unable to sleep for 3 days, couldn’t eat, had a massive earache and headache and swelling in my jaw/neck. They turned me away after charging me an exam fee and told me I had to wait until after I had delivered my baby for them to do anything. After being referred to Doctor Naito I was even more anxious but they fit me in for an immediate consultation the next day and preformed oral surgery to remove the problem tooth quickly and effectively with NO complications and NO pain THAT day. I have never experienced such a great supportive team. They kept asking if I was okay and ensuring I was comfortable, after 10 minutes the tooth was out an it’s now the next day and I finally SLEPT!! He went out of his way to call 4 hours later and ensure I was feeling alright and asked if i had any question. I feel absolutely great and have had no issues with swelling or bleeding. This has by far been the best experience I have ever had and I want to thank Doctor Naito and his team so very much for all of their help!!!

The service was ok. Be careful with the billing. The rates are significantly higher than regular dental services. They didn't inform us about it and we had to cover a significant amount of the bill out of our pocket. Always ask for the estimate and get your insurance to approve it.

Every year on the anniversary of the procedure Dr. Bell cleans and exams the implants free of charge to make sure everything is fine. My appointment at Okanagan Oral Surgery was professional and relaxed. I was scheduled for a wisdom tooth extraction (4 teeth total) this morning. I called the office ahead of time and was prescribed an anti anxiety medication for before my appointment. It put me at ease before entering the building. The staff were very friendly. The nurses supplied me with a blanket and explained every step of the process. Dr. Naito was extremely knowledgeable kind during our consultation. The operation itself was seamless. I fell asleep pretty much instantly and am in no pain 6 hours later. Thank you to Dr. Naito and his wonderful team.

I came to get a piece of tooth removed from my gum. I received IV sedation. My veins are hard to get but the nurse got it on the first try. The staff is all friendly and helpful. I felt very safe and well taken care of. My ride had to pick me up and I was offered a wheelchair. I left with written Instructions, more gauze and an ice pack. I highly recommend this dental office.

If there ever was a team of dental surgeons who are at the apex of their profession, then Dr. Bell, Dr. White and Dr. Naito have achieved the highest degree of specialization in their field. At Kelowna Oral and Maxillofacial Dr. Bell had the difficult task of extracting a pair of impact molars and he performed the operation flawlessly. Dr. White and Dr. Naito followed up on two different occasions with an oral inspection, which, they performed with the skill and professionalism of an artist. You see folks I was diagnosed with cancer and my therapy required several extractions. The support staff at Kelowna Oral and Maxillofacial gave me the care, empathy and personal attention, which, reassured me that I was in the safest possible hands. After eight months of chemo and radiation I survived and now I can express my appreciation and gratitude to the doctors and staff who made a difficult time for me easier. Dr. Bell, Dr. White, Dr. Naito and their support team were designed for this trade. So I would recommend, without hesitation, to anyone, to give them a call if you require the type of services, they are offering and "no" none of these people are my kids.
