Tummy Tuck...it took me 2 years to decide if i was going to do this procedure and another 2 years to decide which doctor I will chose to do the procedure. There are a lots of good plastic surgeons in the Austin area to choose from, I am fortunate and blessed that I found Dr. Troy Thompson. It is sad that there are people who judge Dr. Thompson of what they do not know. Dr. Thompson is an educator and an artist and his work is AMAZING. It has been 3 months since my tummy tuck and every time I look at myself at the mirror I am just "WOW"! I still can't believe I have this and I am HAPPY! and that's whats important! Thank you Dr. Troy Thompson!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015. I quickly decided to have a bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. I was very fortunate to have had excellent surgeons in my camp. Dr. Thompson sat with us and discussed all the options. He was great! Super supportive and knowledgeable. Funny and cool too! My surgery was February 13, 2015. Dr. Thompson worked very closely with my mastectomy surgeon and began the reconstruction by shaping the tissue and inserting tissue expanders at the end of the mastectomy. I went back in July to have the expanders removed and silicon implants inserted. A few months later Dr Thompson added strati to help support the implants - he's an artist and a perfectionist. Most recently, Dr Thompson injected filler fat from my belly into my breasts to make them look even more natural. I'm very happy with the results and feel we're probably just one surgery away from perfection. I highly recommend Dr Thompson. He's an amazing surgeon and a good person. We always look forward to seeing him! His office staff, Mia, Jess and Jennifer are great too!

Dr. Thompson was extremely rude!! No professionalism whatsoever, and he talks down at people, as if he was doing people a favor, and the last time I checked, he gets a lot of money for every procedure. When I attempted to speak to him about my condition, he would keep interrupting me and didn't let me explain what was going on, when I finally did, he would make rude comments or dumb jokes. He kept wanting me to read a book he wrote that had nothing to do with why I was there, completely worthless. He made me feel very uncomfortable and will not recommend him to anyone. I couldn't wait to get out of there, and I'm glad I found out about the way he works before I went through with my procedure. The front desk receptionist was about the only nice person in there. I was so disappointed!!

I went to Dr. Thompson to correct my first reconstructive surgery, which was done by another doctor in town.... Dr. Thompson took the time to find out EXACTLY what I wanted for my reconstruction. He told me exactly what I could attain, and so what he could not, considering what he was working with. Dr. T is an artist and perfectionist, and I truly believe he had my best interests at heart. He can be brutally honest, and that may not translate into the best bedside manner at times... but I would rather know and discuss the details than blindly trust that my surgeon intuitively knows what I want or what is best for me. That is what I did with my first surgeon and it turned out poorly. I am very picky and I am super pleased with the results of my surgery with Dr. T. Would recommend him to my best friend or family members, hands down.

I am a High Maintenance Customer! I'll just put that out there first:) Not because I expect perfection but because I had shopped 10 doctors, with 10 opinions, with 10 completely different COST, with 10 very different approaches. I was confused and it was causing me to be scared of doing the surgery. Here is my story. I had my first breast augmentation in 2001 and again in 2002 because they weren't big enough. Of course. I lived for many years with an "OK" breast augmentation that I was "kinda" happy with. I went from having saggy flat breasts to big full breasts so I was happy for a number of years. After finally realizing that it was time to be happy with my breasts, I started shopping around for Doctors. I visited a total of 10 Plastic Surgeons, All of them were referrals from girls that I knew. It took me almost 7 more years to finally be ready to commit to having my breasts done again. I was fearful that I would spend the money and still not be satisfied with the results. Finally, I made the decision to revisit Dr Thompson in late 2016 for a second consultation. I was drawn to his honest, straight forward approach to my specific needs and desires. He helped me work through some of my fears. Remember, I had been unhappy with my current breast implants for over 10 years already. I switched from a Saline implant to a Silicone implant and also had a breast lift. We made the decision to do this in 2 surgeries because that is what worked for me. I could not be Happier. Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and still can't believe that he was able to make my breasts look so good after they looked so bad. He is the Best at what he does. Mia and Jess in the office have been amazing. Dr. Thompson is incredible! Thank you for everything you have done and all the support you have given me. BRING ON SUMMER AND TRIANGLE BIKINIS:)

Do not think it twice about choosing Doctor Thompson. It’s been 7 years since my breast augmentation and I’ve recommended him to everyone that had asked me about my surgeon and for sure I’ll keep doing it. If you are considering breast augmentation or breast reconstruction after mastectomy ... You owe it to yourself to have a consultation with Dr. Thompson!!! He won’t be in and out of the room in 5-10 minutes ! He will take his time to consider what you want and talk WITH you. He took multiple measurements and photos at my consultation. He was able to show me what he was going to do on my actual photo. I had reconstruction 13 years ago in Oklahoma City. The previous implants were not wide enough for my chest. They were uneven, lopsided , hard, and somewhat painful. Dr Thompson and his staff took great care of me! They explained all the procedures in advance and were there to answer questions. Dr. Thompson discussed what he would do to correct all my previous issues. I have wider implants that look natural and fit my chest properly. The implants look beautiful with new nipples that look and feel real . I never thought it would be possible to be fully restored...Dr. Thompson did it and I am sure he is the best!!! I drove 4 hours round trip for office visits and surgeries. He is worth every mile and I would fly from out of state to see him, if needed.

I debated for several years about getting a tummy tuck and I am so glad that another doctor recommended Dr. Thompson to me. He is hilarious and wonderful, while also educating about what to expect and what real results might be. I'm not realistically thinking of another surgery in the near future, but I would never choose another surgeon over Dr. Thompson. I am 100% percent pleased with my results and feel lucky to have had the right doctor. His staff is also amazing and they made me feel comfortable and "at home" every single time I had an appointment.

I am so happy and blessed that I was able to find such an amazing doctor. Dr. Troy Thompson really know his stuff. He is so good at what he does, he is truly an artist. I went in and I was scared. My problem was that I was so concerned about the size. I had a fear of big fake boobs. Dr. Troy Thompson gave me a size that fits my body. He understands what will look good. He measured me and gave me a size that fits my body. People are shocked when they find out my breasts are not real. I love, love that. I can pick and choose when to show my cleavage, and otherwise, I look natural. I have never felt so sexy and confident like I do right now. My only regret is that I did not go in sooner! I would go a 100 xs over and go back to Dr. Troy Thompson each and every time. There is no other Dr. in my opinion.

Dr. Thompson gave me exactly what I wanted! At first I was concerned by his lack of reviews on the site etc. Apparently he doesn't solicit reviews like the other surgeons out there who seem to have thousands of reviews (many of them verbatim duplicates, makes you wonder if they were paid for????) You are in great hands if you choose him and listen to his advice. He is the best!
