I had surgery on November 2, 2017. I had a tummy tuck (not sure of the surgical procedure name) and I'm telling you that my husband and myself are absolutely amazed by the flawless transformation of my body. Dr. Hess is the most amazing, kind, caring doctor I have seen. His bedside manner is amazingly comforting and his staff is just as fabulous. I recommend Dr Hess for any plastic surgery you may be considering on getting. I'm telling you that you will not be disappointed in his work. You will just be amazed, happy and so incredibly grateful that you went to him. He changed my life for the better and I know that he will change yours as well. Thank you Dr Hess... You are amazing!!!

Dr. Hess was such a wonderful doctor to work with. From the start he made sure that I was comfortable. In March of 2021 I choose to have a breast lift and I am so glad that I did. I felt very insecure, even with my husband, and I hated that my breasts were so saggy. I'm 37, and I have delivered and breastfed four children. Naturally, they all took a toll on my body. Knowing that I was insecure, I wasn't exactly jumping to the chance to show anyone my breasts, but as mentioned above, Dr. Hess was very professional and encouraging. I highly recommend him for any procedure. Several years ago he removed cancer from behind my knee and you can't see the scar at all. In addition, he removed a fatty cyst from my head, you can't tell that there's a large chunk of my scalp and hair missing. He truly is a skilled and talented surgeon.

I have been seen by Dr. Hess for carpal tunnel surgery, for a thumb surgery, and for an accidental partial finger loss. Each time I have seen him, both he and his staff made appointments enjoyable (he has a very easy going manner), clear, expedient, and professional. I followed up with hand physical therapy and there, I was told he was the best hand surgeon in Tucson! I am very happy he was my doctor and continue to find other satisfied patients of his in my everyday life.

I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Hess, he is a true professional with gifted hands. The outcome, which to date is only one month, and is greater than my expectations. Dr. Hess is passionate about his work and a true perfectionist. A few days ago, after my procedure, I got a new haircut, and my friends and acquaintance said, "Wow, I love your new hair style, it has taken 10 years off your looks." I only smiled and said thank you. Dr. Hess has wonderful bedside manners and his office staff is friendly.

The reason I came to him was because of these Google reviews and I was NOT disappointed. He's probably the best plastic surgeon in Tucson. Super nice, very honest, very direct and highly skilled. I am a breast cancer survivor. I had been through chemo and a double mastectomy. I sadly had worked with another plastic surgeon in town and my expander got infected. My original plastic surgeon had no sense of urgency and no care. I had to constantly follow up. The treatment of this surgeon pushed for my decision to find a new doctor. I asked many people at the cancer center and hospital and everyone kept sharing the name of Richard Hess. Folks it was a night and day experience. I had interviewed various plastic surgeons but immediately walking into Dr. Hesses office the difference in care was amazing. Dr. Hess is down to earth and caring. The office staff was kind and oh my goodness wait until you meet Yeezenia. Yeezenia, worked so hard to make sure my surgery could happen. She made sure I was informed. If I had a concern they moved the schedule around to make sure I was seen in a timely manner. Cancer is already hard and the last thing you need is a plastic surgeon who does not care. Thank you Hess team for helping me feel normal and healthy again and I will be back next year for reconstruction. I hope this review helps other survivors find their way to you. God Bless you.

Super nice Dr. He is funny, I felt comfortable with him, I just got out of surgery yesterday still very swollen but can't wait to see my actual results I'm feeling positive: ) . I will post pics as soon as I get healed. If everything goes well I will be returning to his office for a nose job!!

Worst plastic surgeon in town! Completely ruined my body and when I addressed the issues I had after surgery he said “well it’s better then before!” I will never return!! Do your research before you let someone cut your body.

I unfortunately had to meet Dr. Hess under less than ideal circumstances, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was due to have tissue expanders placed and followed up with implants once the time was right.
