This place is the best for plastic surgery. Everything is so clean and organize, they care a lot of the patients. I traveled from Maryland to Miami just to have my surgery and every penny worth it. I'm so happy with my results. Doctor Orlando LLorente is so Amazing! He answered all my questions at pre-op and He's very talented and very honest.He did what I was expected to look. If I can give NO STARS I WOULD. Do not go here they are scammers. A girl named SARA HIDS took my $500 deposit with FULLY knowing my history. She said it my surgeon would be Dr. Simmons and my date was in December. Another lady named GABY called me about 4 weeks later told me no surgeon will do my surgery and she was going to talk to her manager about getting my refund because what Sara did was wrong. I called and they were giving me the run around. Tried to dispute the charges and they told my company that they can cancel at anytime. My thing if you knew my history why still take my deposit. They are scammers and I would NOT recommend you going here.

We have to wait for our relatives outside, in the parking lot, and without taking care of the social distancing or anything else . They do not speak English. They take patients out of the same area where everyone enters to the building , there is no privacy of such. Doctors and assistants walk through common areas in their same aprons without any awareness of the viruses and bacteria that can cling to clothing. The treatment and the wait are horrible and they don't have parking either! I don't understand how the health department investigates yet !

However meanwhile waiting noticed this girl waiting for her post surgery massage same time with me whatsoever her appointment was at 2:15 and it was already 4:15. Then other patience would just walk in and they were treated first than her this happened 3 times...at that point i got really upset it was just unacceptable "red flag" I felted sorry for her... Finally I didn't wait more for finance, I took my purse and left... there's lack of organization.

Dr dowbak seems amazing and Elena is super nice and tries her best. However the coordinater Yuli is terrible. After making the deposit she changed what was agreed upon and lies. I ask to speak to the doctor because that’s who told me I could have surgery with a higher A1c lab result, and she lies and says she already spoke to the doctor. Now I have to dispute the charges because she is a scammer. UpDate: Yuli or the financial manager (regli?) will not bother to deal with u after u put the deposit. They will refuse to do surgery and pocket ur deposit so be smart and if u want to schedule surgery then make your deposit through a bank like chase so that they can press fraud charges and get your money back. The place is unorganized and a scam. Don’t waste your efforts

I had my surgery with Dr. Dowbak on 11-15-19, he’s a nice person, however the staff he works with is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, they care nothing about the patients. The staff has the worst customer service skills and very unprofessional. After you pay your full balance you no longer will receive a call back if you have questions, they communicate with you through text. Julieta is Dr. Dowbak’s coordinator, she’s the worst Medical Coordinator I have ever met in the medical field. Julieta is very insensitive, unprofessional and uncaring. She will ignore your text messages if you ask her to give you a call back for additional questions regarding your surgery. After your surgery no one calls to follow up with you to see how you’re progressing, and if you call to speak to someone regarding your surgery all communication is done by text message. I’m now 8 months post op and need a revision, I was informed to text Dr. Dowbak’s Nurse Lia to see how much a revision would cost, she had me send her pictures and quotes me the price of 3500 for a revision which is the same price as a new patient. A revision should be free or much less than what you originally paid. I was also informed after my surgery that Dr. Dowbak does 6 surgeries in a day, THATS INSANE. With performing that many surgeries in one day he’s bound to made multiple errors and leave patients with inadequate results, they are about quantity and not quality. I wish I knew this information prior to my surgery because I would have never went to that clinic. Ladies PLEASE cherish your body and invest your money and time with a professional surgeon and staff that will really care for your health and give you the results you’re looking for. I know the surgery is low money but remember you get what you pay for. Ladies please take heed to all these important reviews and go elsewhere for your Surgery.

On July 23 I had a mommy make over That included tummy tuck and Brest implants. They charged me for a full MOMMY MAKEOVER AND DID 0 lipo! I still have flab on my arms and side. Come to find out Dr Simmons knew my BMI Was too low but DTILL CHARGED FULL PRICE! I can’t borne this plus he put stitches that dint melt. I called and send emails and can’t really get nobody. They just disregard me like it’s not a big deal! DO NOT DO It. They wanna keep my money after they overcharged me. I’m thinking it’s a lot of ladies that they did this to.

You guys are taking deposits for a doctor that is not even with your clinic any longer. Dr. Nassif resigned. You should give people their money back that was coming to you for that specific doctor. I recently had a bbl performed here. On my day of surgery, I arrived at 5am for a 530am procedure. I was taken to a room where I was changed for surgery. At which point they proceeded to ask me if I had my own lab results. After they had taken my belongings from me. I was in a paper robe with no phone and no one checking on me for two hours. At which point I ventured out to see what was happening. I was told that one of my tests had been missed by quest diagnostics. This would have been fine but they waited until the day of my surgery to look at my results? The patient coordinator is very rude and combative. When I was freaking out after being alone in a tiny room wearing nothing but a paper robe for three hours, she told me to calm down and asked why I was crying. I don’t know because I was put through a torture simulation maybe? Any time I asked for my phone I was told either the nurse is with a patient or just asked if I was canceling my surgery. I had a meltdown and the staff was very combative with me. The After my surgery I woke up in a wheelchair crying again and was carted out without anyone making sure I was ok. I was asked why I was crying again. It was the most intense pain I have ever felt, which I expected. But the pain med prescriptions were not provided to my caregiver until after my surgery. The welcome packet said they would be provided at preop. Do not come to new life. This is a surgery farm. They don’t take care of the building, all the furniture is old and busted ikea furniture. They exist to take your money. When I asked about a discount on my faja I was talked over the whole time and told that they didn’t charge me for an ekg test that they decided to run themselves instead of providing new lab orders for me to take to my primary care physician. The patient coordinator signed off on my surgery without making sure everything was ready and thanks to that I had to wait 7 hours while fasting. The doctor was good. I’m pleased with the results so far. But bbl results are not unique. Go somewhere else. Also the faja they “include” is the one you wake up in. Not the one you will be needing for actual wear.

I was supposed to be refunded for the breast lift that I didn’t get in the amount of $4,500 and it wasn’t until I started yelling and causing a scene that her other co workers started reasoning with me! I was finally refunded by someone else on the staff. On top of that the manger was laughing and talking about me in Spanish with 2 other staff members thats when I knew I had to set it off

Dr. Hanabergh was absolutely AMAZING along with the anesthesiologist and the Nurse who was by my side. (Oh let me not forget to mention this…He is also very Sweet) I was extremely nervous to get a breast augmentation because I am very particular with what I like, and Dr. Hanabergh not only met my expectations but went beyond them. I recommend his clinic to everyone I can because of how great he and his staff are and I know the feeling of being unsure. Noelis Oliva was my coordinator she answered every question I had whenever I thought of them (I had quite a few) and she did so with such kindness and understanding. The day of surgery was simple since his staff put me at ease as I was nervous. I hope this review acts as a helping guide for anyone debating which surgeon to choose because I swear by him! This place has the worst customer service. Their main concern is money (securing your deposit) and the last thing that matters is how they treat customers. I paid a $500 deposit to secure a date. Labs are required 30 days prior. When I sent the labs for approval, I never received a response. I called, emailed and texted but no one confirmed receipt of my papers or sent an approval. I already had a plane ticket, requested time off work, made arrangements and housing booked, but I received no response. At the exact time there was major drama with them kicking out Dr. Dowbak. I assume this is why I was unable to reach anyone. My procedure date passed and I never heard from them until after my surgery date passed. They refuse to refund my $500 even though my surgery was technically cancelled due to theirinternal drama. I lost so much money and they couldn't care less. Please do your own research and spend your money elsewhere. They could have offered me something for my money but still have not. I literally lost $500. I feel scammed. Please reach out to non bias customers and you will see the truth. They don't deserve to be in business.

I'm from CA and 5 days before my surgery I found out through a friend who has social media that Dr.Dowbak will not be doing my surgery, because they let her go. NO ONE REACHED OUT TO ME! No call , no text, no email! GO GO SEDUCTION SURGERY CENTER where Dr.Dowbak is working now. She is excellent. I lost over $3,000 with flights and hotels. They also refuse to refund me my $500 deposit. If you make an appointment expect to wait about 2 hours, you will also see patients in the waiting room on the floor on their knees waiting to be seen. I spoke to a few of the post-op patients while I was there & they also had to wait HOURS to be seen . They also refused to send my lab work, because I’m going to have surgery with Dr. Dowbak at her new location. They over book surgeries and post ops!

These people scam their patients, especially out of town patients. They test your urine right before the procedure which is understandable. They charge you $1000 if your test results come back positive for nicotene certain over the counter medications, and hard drugs. When they tested my urine it came back positive for a prescription drug that starts with an 'F' (I can't remember the name) even though I have never taken that drug ever in life, I didn't even know what it is used for. There were 3 other girls who I was around that was testest positive for something they didn't take. Needless to say, I complained and they went forward with my surgery. I believe they are doing this to make people pay an extra $1000 for a false drug test, and I'm reporting them the the Board of Plastic Surgery to have them investigated. I'm not happy with the results. They are money hungry and don't care about their patients. I sat in the waiting room for hours just to take my before pictures with Jennifer. I loved Anitas Recovery and Elena they are the only posivte regarding my experience with New Life.

I just feel some people are not understanding that this is a LARGE BUSINESS that continues rocking daily. These doctors do so many girls a day tryna get everyone done. Where do i start...... My coordinator was Lizzandra she as a person is very nice. As far a keeping communication of changes that mat occur horrible . I made I appointment for my procedure back in Nov 2017. Once my deposit was collected the communication stopped when I would call I'll get voicemail when I would text I'll get 2 day later response. As my day of the surgery approached I had my pre op the day before. for which again very unorganized clinic, I understand it may be busy season but if that is the case get a better system in place. I was told that the payment method I agreed on paying was no longer being accepted and that I could try a different way by an option they have available or pay cash .. That really spilled the cup for me. I was never told ahead of time in order for me ti make other arrangements. Someone else a manager states ok we will do the exception this time. Fine thank you for that is the most they could have done... So I paid the diference with another card and for that Lizzandra was super nice and quick to collect.. Now I got confused and gave my other card for the payment method agreed on and it did not go through for the amount because of course it was the wrong card..... Now for that small mistake it was a whole other attitude and rudeness. As a patient of Dr E.H. I am happy as a patient of NEW LIFE COSMETIC I am not they need to get better organized and be more professionals you are making money ,and getting paid due to all of the people coming in and out of that practice for which many are not Happy either for the poor customer service given. After my procedure everything else is a hassle also I would not come back to New,Life. I,asked if i could exchange one of my massages since I missed it for , a faja and guess no one knows , anything on how can they make it happen. very unhappy with how I was ,treated. I had my surgery with Dr. Dowbak, what can I say about this amazing woman?! She’s the most down to earth, sweet, attentive, caring, awesome, remarkable, and professional Dr I have ever met. She makes you feel good and comfortable at all times, I believe that she really cares about her patients and does her best to make her patients happy. I was looking into having lipo on my chin too, and she recommended me not to do it, she said I would lose some weight after the surgery and that when I saw my new body I was going to be so happy that I would have the motivation to work out and get rid of the rest of the weight, she was completely right and I’m really grateful that she gave me this advice. The person who was there for me at all times and answered all my questions was REGLA, this woman is total awesomeness too, same as my Dr, she’s the most sweet and caring person on earth. First they had me sign a contract with a Dr. Dowbak who I specifically asked for knowing that the same evening she will be let go. I found out via social media by another clinic. When I asked if this was true Elena responded yes but I can have surgery with another Doctor for 1000 less. Mind you this is all via email after 7pm is the only time they respond. Then I receive my lab work request on Nov 14th at 730pm and told needs to be returned by the 26th or my surgery will be canceled. During the Thanksgiving holiday that will be impossible. Dr. Dowbak went on live saying ur BMI does not need to be under 33 however the clinic will cancel ur surgery and of course keep ur money if its over 33. Ooo and now Dr. Dowbak has returned to the clinic again finding out by social media not by email. And when I reach out to ELENA (she is completely unprofessional) She responds with sarcasm. I would to if I steal peoples money. Save yourself the trouble and stress please.

I had a mammy makeover with Dr. Llorente 2 years ago, this was my second breast lift and implant. My experience with the clinic and Dr. Llorente was amazing. My first time, I was very disappointed with the result, the doctor and the clinic, obviusly another in Miami, but with Dr. Llorente this time was different. I feel confident since the first impression with him. I love that he is a very serious person and he takes his work serious he was honest with me and told me what I needed and what I don't needed. This place is the worse!!!! I was scheduled for a morning surgery but didn't have surgery until 3pm. I've gotten a few surgeries in PA from Board Certified Surgeons and I've never left their office bloody like I did at New Life. I had a BBL which includes liposuction, left there with mire fat on stomach than I walked in there with. I never seen my navel for months and I was burned on each of my sides now I have keloids. Needless to say, I now have to get a tummy tuck to correct what they messed up. Ladies, don't go here save your money and go to real Board Certified Surgeons.

It's a long grueling process to get a refund and I still haven't spoken with the refund department. The building looks nothing in person like the pictures. The second floor has ants and worn out. Yadira, Mary(Coordinator)and Jodie are all liars. They want to take your money in the pre-op state, but if they refuse your surgery keep $1,500.00. There is nowhere in my paperwork, that I agreed to that. I may have to take legal action, because no one takes accountability. Dr. Simmons isn't involved enough to know what is going on on the clerical side. I will tell everyone I know about this horrible experience, because they just lost some great business.

I had an amazing experience with everyone I encounter at New Life Plastic Surgery . My doctor was Dr.Simmons I had a MMO on 2/19/21. I’m loving my results so far. Dr Simmons did an amazing job. His bedside manner is also stellar. He answered all my questions eased my tension. My coordinator was Chavily she’s amazing. The receptionist at the front desk on the 3rd floor helped with my anxiety she really helped calm me. There wasn’t a long wait, it’s not run like a mill with ladies all over the place, at least when I went it wasn’t overly crowded. Dr Simmons did everything I asked even from asking for morning surgery. If I ever decide to do this again I will be back with dr Simmons. I’m healing well not much pain at all.

I'm currently waiting for.my refund due to the fact that dr. Dowbak is not performing surgery. Why do u even have that option on your site then?? Someone finally responded through social media. Ridiculous. Said they can't confirm an appointment (I made online) with Dr. Chavez, because she sees ppl in btwn surgeries. Wait what?! I get you want to make money, but maybe set aside certain hours on certain days like a normal Dr. would to see patients/potential patients?! Never heard of such a thing. Finally, they said I can come in one day at 8:30am. I flew in, from another state; then drove an hour for my "appointment". The receptionist, rude & barely speaking English, says I need to come back at 10am. Umm what?! She sends me to another receptionist, barely speaking English and even ruder! Tells me to have a seat. Waited an hour when the Dr. finally comes out to see her "appointments". Apparently they tell everyone to come in at 8:30 am and WAIT for hours. Oh, and it's beyond freezing in there. I left. Bad vibes. Lack of communication. Extremelyyy unprofessional!! Would rather pay more and be treated properly!

I’m very unsatisfied with my results he did a lipo 360 & BBL and it looks like I only got lipo 360 he barely transferred any fat which a lot of it disappeared. He was known to be emotionally unstable that week of my surgery, unfortunately I did not find this out until after. My coordinator Flavia would ignore My messages until I text her going off then she would act like she never seen me text. Per contract, they charged me $500 for an evaluation that was never completed. No pictures, medical history, nothing. I’m now blocked by my coordinator and the manager Tania doesn’t respond anymore. My date was 2/18 with dr dowbak and dowbak has been out for months. They are refusing a refund and avoiding my calls. This clinic is extremely unprofessional. I wish I would’ve done further research on them versus taking a friends advice. I’m reporting them to BBB. The fact they’re denying refunds blows me. Take your money else where! Unprofessional that’s how I can describe New Life in one word. I had surgery November and I wish I had chosen a different office. The surgeon did a good job but the after care was terrible. I almost ended up at the ER the night after surgery because I was dismissed from surgery unconscious and clueless. I suggest they make sure the patients are dismissed in good conditions before literally throwing them out in the streets. My surgeon was Dr. Simmons, it was no the the surgeon but the way the clinic operates.

This place has proven to be unprofessional in every aspect. At the beginning everything is great and the service is good. After paying the surgery, the professionalism diminishes largely. We had concerns on regards to a slight infection and after several attempts to contact the facilities for some medical concerns, we are constantly being ignored. In fact, the place seems rather unorganized and they book too many surgeries daily. Leading to the surgeons having to rush though procedures. The attitude of the place it’s “we’re very busy”. It’s our insinuation that the liposuction that’s supposed to be conducted along with the abdominalplasty was not done. When the surgeon was confronted he swore he did it, but even to the nurses it was evident that it wasn’t. In my personal opinion this place isn’t the place to go to if you are looking for the for a quality service.

THEY put holes in my body but didnt remove the fat. I had to show my before and after pictures. Still the same body. Just a bunch of CON artist running a facility. The only professional people are the ladies in the Spa area! They have 2 surgeons over booked doing multiple surgeries and not paying attention to detail. His assistants are pretty much doing the procedures. If you want to look disfigured..go there and you will see! Keep pictures and record everything. If you try to call they will have your number blocked and never respond. If you ask for a manager they will tell you that there is not one available. I advise go somewhere else or have a lawyer on stand by. Read that contract!!!!

Went on 10/7/20 for a bbl, lips 360 and arm lipo. New life is very chaotic and dysfunctional. I paid $5500 and Dr Cannon didn’t do what I paid him to do. He didn’t lipo my back or my upper stomach. The first impression when I went in for my consultation with Mar Rubio was amazing because I thought everyone was as nice and welcoming as she was which was why out of 4 other clinics I chose this one. This place is super unprofessional and uncoordinated I had 2 different secretaries call me with two different appointment times in 2 occasions which completely messed up my plans as well as my surgery coordinator being changed when they told me my coordinator was Mar Rubio they changed me to the rudest nastiest attitude person I've met Jennifer who was supposed to make me feel comfortable and welcomed when I'm putting my health in the hands of the surgeons at this facility when I went in to sign my paper work this lady told me "Do NOT CALL ME" if I need anything from you I'll call you but do not call me I'm very busy which to me was super insulting because I wasn't asking her for anything or financing my surgery whatsoever. I also called a couple of times with questions and theyd never return my calls I felt that her as my coordinator should have answered my questions any time I had them so truly thanks to her I lost my $500.00 deposit and decided to take my services to another clinic where I was actually treated right and respectfully and thankfully got the amazing results I was going for and my coordinator was a very nice and respectful lady at this other facility .I truly wouldn't recommend nooooo one ever to NEW LiFE PLASTIC SURGERY. Hopefully they hire better staff because I hear them losing a lot of clientele with someone so rude.

Going to new life was honestly the worst choice I could have made for plastic surgery. I came from Colorado because it’s cheaper here . But please BEWARE OF NEW LIFE PLASTIC SURGERY. It is a factory I was told my surgery was at 830 am I showed up at 730 and did not get even a meeting with the dr until 230pm!!! I was not given my prescription at post opp. At that there is no post opp you don’t see the dr until you are about to go in. It was horrible I suggest going to a smaller nicer cleaner more professional facility. New life is dirty you feel like you will get infected walking around . One of the girls I spoke with the whole day I waited told me that they are on time and proper in the Dominican Republic so I’d say go there , go anywhere but new life!!!!

I will be receiving 360 lipo with bbl by Dr Dowbak on June 16,2020. This is just a small review and I intend to update as i proceed further down the road/after sx day. So far my experience has been amazing. As far as communication it has been very on point with me. I have been doing research since October of 2019. In October I had sent my photos over to Melanie and from October 2019 to February of this year I have emailed frequently with new questions as far as the procedure etc. I received my price once i sent my photos over and once I made up my mind i sent my deposit over in February. When I called to do that I spoke to one woman (can’t remember her name unfortunately) before getting in touch with Melanie and she was very kind and pleasant I was told Melanie was on the phone with another patient and she would contact me back afterwards and in less than 10 minutes I received the call picked my date and Melanie was very sweet and informative as well as answering the many questions I had. She explained very well what needed to be done on my end and she was easy going. After my deposit it is now March I still have questions I text the number she gave me and she is very timely responding which I find amazing! I’m looking forward to getting snatched by the queen and flying to Miami to meet everyone! I feel very confident and can’t wait! I will definitely be back to update following procedure

Mar text’s you to find out how you are doing the night after surgery she always reply’s to her text YES there is time’s she is busy and may take awhile but she never forgets about you. From the moment she gives you a quote Til the last day you are in new life mar is there for you. She to me is angel from heaven made me feel very safe since day 1 I highly recommend her to anyone I mean anyone. I had a bbl done with dr. Hannbregh he did a great job he is very nice and friendly he is the best. All the girls in the office even the manager REGLA is amazing, Carla the nurse top of the line. They have now cancelled 3 of my appointments and will not return my calls or messages. The manager who personally guaranteed they would fix their mistake won’t answer my calls. New Life Plastic surgery refuses to refund me my $500 deposit payed to them despite me not getting the surgery anymore. The business is shady. I booked a surgery with New Life Plastic Surgery on November 20,2020. I was urged to pay a $500 deposit and after I did, I was sent a contract to sign. The representative Ashley, did not tell me that the deposit was non refundable. She said it was just to lock in the total "sale" price and hold my surgery date spot of December 17,2020. AFTER, being emailed a receipt, I was then sent a contract where I saw that what she mentioned to me was a lie. There were some information in there stating that the deposit was non-refundable and does not guarantee that I can get surgery. I was unhappy with that and expressed that to her. As days went by, I was waiting on further contact and was told surgical coordinator Yuly Cruz would get in contact with me to provide more information. She never contacted me until 3 days prior to surgery December 14,2020. I tried calling her number which was provided to me from the call center , emailing her , and reaching out to her assistant with no response. The business was very shady to me and I found it strange that after my money was taken it was going to be difficult to contact anybody. I did further research on the doctor and I found that the information provided to me about him was not 100% true. I felt unsafe proceeding with surgery with their business. I contacted my bank for a refund being that it is hard to get into contact with them but new life lied and said I got the procedure done. When I finally got into contact with Yuly Cruz she told me I could get a refund from the SAME person who charged me it. After contacting that person who is Ashley she said she won't be able to give me my money back even though Yuly said she could. After filing a complaint with the better Business Bureau the company decided to give me a refund 2 months later. This is a very shady business. Take your money elsewhere ! Not to mention that the place is an absolute chop shop. Update: a friend of mine quit recently due to being asked to perform duties that are legally only designated to board certified nurses putting patients at an immense risk. Do yourself a favor and go to a facility that cares about you and your health. Not a camp that only cares about taking your money and nothing else.

Today on 7/23 I found out Dr Harry Insitful is no longer employed with New Life Plastic surgery via SOCIAL MEDIA. I left my deposit with my coordinator Melanie Gil on June 2nd. According to social media Dr Harry hasn’t been with New Life for a month, and this is confirmed via his Instagram page as well. No one from New Life contacted me the patient to let me know of Dr Harry’s termination of employment. Upon coming across this information I contacted Melanie expressing to her that I know Dr Insitful is no longer with New Life and I would like a refund. She responded my deposit is good for 2 years and I could easily choose another doctor, but she would remove me from the calendar. I don’t feel as though it is easy to select a doctor, a lot of research goes into it as this is my health and body I’m dealing with! When I expressed the fact that I wasn’t comfortable choosing any of the other doctors she simply replied ‘deposits are not refundable’ and she is sorry she has to tell me what I don’t want to hear but she is just giving me the message. These business practices are very unprofessional, unethical and down right shameful! The lack of communication and professionalism I’ve experienced is unacceptable and I advise everybody to STAY AWAY FROM NEW LIFE!

I made an appointment many months in advance for my surgery. A month before my scheduled date I had a series of pre-op tests to which one came back as abnormal. Because of this I had to see a cardiac specialist, who cleared me for surgery. I passed along the results to Elena my coordinator and was all set to move forward. The office even called me a few days before my surgery to remind me of my appointment. I was an out of town patient, so I had to fly in for the procedure. I get to the office and as I am checking in, I am informed by one of the office workers (not Elena) that the doctor (Llorente) decided NOT to move forward with the surgery. So......after a very emotional conversation with Elena, I had to head back to the airport and catch a flight back home. That was last NOVEMBER and I was promised that my CASH would be returned to me immediately....you guessed it. Not one red dime has been returned to me. This is how they treat people. Don't waste your time or they might keep your money too!!!

So I'm now spending more money. Also they don't give your recovery house your pain script's until after your surgery. The staff at New Life is very unprofessional. My prior coordinator Liz , stopped responding once I informed her I will have my attorney involved if the surgery is not scheduled. She continued to not respond and I came in person with my attorney and the manager Regla scheduled my surgery for the same week. Dr. Simmons overall did an okay job on my breast but he butchered the right side of my nipple for the implant incision. I wish I would have went to another up to date surgical center where they use better surgical instruments to receive better results. He was obviously rushing knowing that they’re we’re over 10 patients scheduled for surgery that day. He also has action against his license in Maryland. Google it and make a informed decision.

THESE PEOPLE ARE BULLIES AND SCAMMERS!!!! They took my deposit and won't give it back. Months back, I asked to work with someone else b4, they insist for me to work with Flavia & she's not helpful at all & months later they sending a girl name Karina to work with about lab work. Obviously they didn't tell Dr. Harry I canceled my surgery, so they can keep my deposit and make it look like I didn't show up for surgery. It's a coincidence I sent that Flavia person message about refund on 6/17/19 & they have Karina message me on 6/19/19 like I'm still doing the surgery. "YOU CANNOT FORCE SOMEONE TO DO PLASTIC SURGERY" all because New Life don't want to pay me back my deposit. Clearly "THEY BULLYING ME" & into doing surgery with them. I notice New Life Plastic Surgery staff is young Hispanic ladies and they treat the women with color very rude, from how they deal with their own Hispanic women. At first I didn't want to believe my friend who tried to reach them & she told me how they treated her bad, but when one of her friend whose Hispanic dealt with her, she gotten top notch customer service. I canceled my surgery & I don't want 2 do work w/ Dr. Harry or no other surgeons there! I don't care how good Dr. Harry is, whoever representing him in that office made it bad for him, is very rude, unprofessional & don't like to communicate. I refuses and " WILL NOT RISK MY LIFE" with New Life Plastic Surgery. No Maam!!!! Their only nice when your $500 deposit & don't want to ask questions, when people traveling from a far. Sooooo I'm nicely waiting on my $500 deposit to hit my account and it's been over a month. I spoke to a Nasty Manager who hung up the phone on me, all because she tried to convince to do work there & I don't want to have work done there, said she will give me back your money, she has money don't want my money. She was furious with me over my own & I'm waiting on my deposits for over a month now, when she stated it takes 6 to 10 business days. They're all a bunch of THIEVES there. People don't use them, they will SCAM you out your money. I promise you that.

My surgery was scheduled August 28th 2018 once I got there I realized that the coordinator and business department gave me the wrong information. I paid for a lipo 360 and full tummy tuck. When I met my Dr. he told me no one at that office does both cause of safety issues which means I was giving the wrong information and I had to renew My contract. What I actual wanted I did not recieve they gave my hopes up cause they provided the wrong information I was prepared for something I couldn't recieved..there staff have an issue with speaking English and returning phone calls when needed.

Please do your research and don't go to New Life, they're all about the money, and once you pay your surgery the customer service is worse than worse. The place is dirty and all the staff is rude and they always have so many differents excuses to not help you. Once you arrive to New Life they will make sure to charge you extra money for any different reason, and they tell you it have to be pay in full and CASH ONLY, whish is very sketchy. They do have an ATM in their building which charge you 2.5% of the amount you're get it out. After your surgery you will never see the doctor again, so if something went wrong you're on your own. They don't have nurses the same employees from there are the ones who check you for your after surgery check. Very unprofessional, I'm glad I didn't have any complications after my surgery because I have heard so many bad outcomes from this place, I regret to trusted it. Also, make sure to touch bases with your surgeon before getting in the surgery room because he may forgot what you ask for and do whatever he thinks you wanted, like what happened to me. There are women who have got surgery already in the same waiting area for pre-op, be carefull they're all full of blood and there is type of control of sanitation, everybody used only one bedroom in the whole floor. Is just dangerous.

So I have an appointment scheduled for July & they told me Dr. JC Alvarez would be doing my surgery so I was doing a little more research on him only to find out that he doesn’t even work at New Life he has his own practice in Pennsylvania. I’m so upset because I was looking forward to this!!! Also every since they’ve received my deposit my consultant no longer responds to my messages it’s sad. Oh then on top off all of this I called this morning to verify that Dr. Alvarez would be performing my surgery & they still lied & said he was on vacation right now but he would be back in time for my surgery, I cannot with them !!

Love the staff at New Life Plastic Surgery. I came in on Friday to do my pre op visit and everyone was very welcoming. From the moment I entered I felt welcomed and not just " another" patient coming in to get surgery. Mar has been so amazing. Whenever I have any questions or concerns she definitely has an answer and is there to help. Also I got to meet her assistant Luiang who is the sweetest. I had originally had a surgery date for March 12th 2021 . The doctor left New Life Plastic Surgery leaving me to have to go to a different facility and now New Life is trying to keep my money that’s over $1000 . I have been trying to get this refunded to me me rightfully so due to the even the doctor left the practice and therefore I should be refunded properly . This has been going on now since March 3rd 2021 and we are now in May 18th and yet I haven’t received any sort of refund . I have called numerous of times and have been giving the run around and yet nothing has been resolved . Jodie the manager in the finance department has not even acknowledged the issue or given the courtesy to call back to resolve the matter . They leave me no choice as I have been extreme patient to call the cops , have my lawyer involve . It’s absolutely a disgrace that they would keep someone’s hard working money .

I got a BBL a little over a month ago and let me say first that I am happy with my results which is why I gave 2 stars not 1. My surgeon was Dr. Hanabergh and he did a great job. I am pretty disappointed in New Life as a clinic. My surgical coordinator was Elena. She seemed very nice and friendly during my consultation, but after she got my money I never heard back from her. When I asked questions, I was referred to other people. Everyone was helpful and nice but they seem very overworked and disorganized. If you book surgery through New Life, just know that you will be doing it on your own and no one will guide you. I had to be the one to reach out to request instructions for the labs and scheduling info. Also, in my contract it was specified that I get 360 Lipo plus thigh Lipo....I wake up from surgery and they forgot to liposuction my thighs! I was also supposed to have massages included in my package but it is impossible to get someone to pick up the phone in the spa so I got the massages on my own. Another thing that I could not believe was that nobody followed up on me after my surgery. I had a “followup” schedule the next day but the doctor was nowhere to be found. It was just the therapist attempting to massage me which was obviously very painful as it was only one day post-op. I’m am just so thankful my results are good and I did not have any complications because I know New Life would not have been much help if I needed it.

Where do I start this place is sooo unprofessional, and full of thieves yes thieves as soon as you pay your money the communication stops they won't answer any text or phone calls. My experience was the worst I have so much to say but will sum it up to DO NOT fall for the hype of Dowbak because I paid $6600 and I got no results. the same way I rolled onto the table is how I rolled off. The way they treated me should have been red flags but I was so caught up in the hype of this doctor. Dowbak did not deliver for me and her staff is including her assistant who she adores will not contact you back for anything. I ended up booking a hotel and purchasing my plane ticket days before my surgery date because she would not contact me to tell me if I was clear for surgery. The way I ended up getting my clearance letter was bc I was inquiring with a recovery house if they had space because it was so last minute. The recovery house person happened to know Juliette and reached out to her and that night I got a text from Juliette telling me the office was closed when I had been calling and texting her for weeks. the day of my pre op visit w Dowbak I walked in and she had her head down as if taking a nap while the assistant Juliette stood next to her. Dowbak began to interact with me but was very rude to me I thought maybe someone had upset her. I explained to her what I was looking to get as she examined my body and she said I will try to get your stomach as flat as possible. I should of known then to walk away. Day 1 post op after surgery I knew she didn't deliver any results. Now I am 4 months post op and have been calling to get my money back after sending my pics to them of no results and looking the same I feel cheated and robbed like the doctor didn't do my surgery because there is absolutely no change. But they want to quote me $2500 for a revision. Something obviously happened or didn't happen in that surgery so I am getting an attorney.

I ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO GO TO THIS PLACE. They have a horrible customer service. Once you show interest they are nice to you and respond to you but as soon as you pay that $500 deposit they treat you like chopped liver. Yuli Cruz is the worst coordinator for Dr Dowback they need to fire and replace her. You have to be constantly emailing her to answer one question. She is very unprofessional and lacks good communication skills. The only time you will hear from her is if she’s emailing you to change your surgery date or if there’s something missing in your lab report. She waits like 2 days before your surgery to tell you what you have missing. So now you have to stress yourself to get everything done even when you sent in your lab reports weeks prior to surgery. For out of state patients this is a great inconvenience as your tickets should be booked and you have paid to stay a certain amount of nights at a hotel or recovery house and when she switches the dates on you that’s going to cost you extra. Another person who lacks professionalism is Yipsy. She’s nice and friendly to you initially but as soon as situations arises and you ask her to assist you she is MIA. As I said before do not come to this place. The reason why they are getting away treating us like that is because we allow it. They are making enough money and they don’t care if they lose couple clients and when they take your deposit and for whatever reason you end up not having the surgery that’s an free $500 in their pocket. If we all were to stop coming to this clinic they would have to re-evaluate their policies and make a change. There are a lot of amazing affordable doctors who you can go to without going through such a stressful time as I did at this clinic. So please don’t go to this clinic all they do is stress people out and take your money or you end up having to spend extra money because of inconvenience. So in the end your paying more than what you expect therefore it makes sense to go to a different clinic that is reliable and maintains professionalism. Oh and not to mention they try to take your money in any possible way. They are scammers and a fraud. Be mindful of their faulty urine test equipment. When they test your urine you might test positive for something that you never take. This can result in the cancellation of your surgery. So it’s a risk you take when signing up for this place. Keep in mind that your surgery is not guaranteed

This place is very dishonest. They don’t deserve my one star. I paid $2,000 and hoped to finance the rest. I was assured that I would be able to finance but should wait 30 days before the procedure. I asked to finance no more than $5K. They put almost $10K in the application and it was declined. I have asked for a refund. I get no responses. When I call, they manager is NEVER available or the person answering pretends that they cannot hear due to bad phone service. They are attentive as long as you are paying money. After they get your payments, all of that changes and they are difficult to reach. They write responses under these reviews to try and discredit the reviewers. They lie and scheme. Don’t believe them. I have since hired a lawyer and have every intention to sue to get my refund. Save yourself the trouble and find a better place for your procedure.

I've been dealing with this place for a while, due to health issues I couldn't get the service that I plan for me. First of, Dr. Hanabergh and his anesthesiologist are amazing. But since the moment I said I had health issues and wanted my money back, things went down the hill. Payment for the procedure wich was tt, lipo of flanks and MR was cash, first $500 dep payment with debit card(no refundable) and the rest 3,750.00 cash. Please if your going to make a payment do it with debit card way easier. Went in Octubre 7 and they said to give it a 7 to 10 business days to pick it up the check or to do a Zelle tru my bank account. Of course ill pick the the check just in case something wrong happened, but I've been 4 times already on this location and they just don't make the payment, they are giving me running around telling that the owner is not at the office to sign the check nor to do the Zelle thing on my bank account, Next thing will be going to the local News first, and then an attorney. This thing is giving me a lot stress and anxiety, I never thought this will be such an problem. Never again with people.

I was supposed to have surgery in October my coordinator Julien was not helpful he sent me lab paperwork and that was it, no communication, and didn’t walk me through my process. On the lab paperwork it confirmed my doctor was Dr. Berman, if I didn’t call the day before my surgery I would of never knew Dr. Berman no longer worked here. No one even knew I had surgery schedule for that day. I was told that I could not be refund my deposit and they’ve forced me to pick another doctor. I did, my surgery was rescheduled for 01/22/2021 for Dr. Dowvak. I’ve received an email this doctor will be out of the office that day and I need to choose another doctor or reschedule. This is my life in their hands and they are forcing me to pick a doctor or wait over 6 months before I can have my surgery with the requested doctor. They won’t answer my calls at the office to speak to the manager and refused to refund my $500.00. At this point I am ready to sue and I Donny care how long or how much I will fight for what is right. I do not recommend anyone to go here, they are money hungry!!!

This clinic is the worst their communication is terrible their unprofessional and unorganized nobody seems to know anything when you are asking questions. I spent 5 and half hours here on the day of my pre op appointment trying to get everything done after the missed up my paperwork. After a horrible experience with another clinic, I rang new life plastic surgery and got a booking working 7days. Ailen 2as so supportive the whole way through. When I flew in from London, I came to the clinic the same day to do my paper work and labs. I was welcomed with a warm welcome and the whole clinic including the staff knew about us coming. Worse experience ever. Staff is rude. I was released still heavily under anestania but nurses were shoving me in the car as I begged for them to be patient because I was in pain. Dr Simmons was to busy playing with blondy’s hair instead of focusing on me. It was so bad I never even went for my follow up. I would never recommend this place to my worse enemy.

This review is about everyone except the surgeon ( Dr. Chavez). This place is a high volume clinic so expect the absolute minimum communication and care once you have paid the $500 deposit. The women who you will communicate with are sales people paid by commission. I have never heard of such a thing and it is the absolute worst practice because you get staff that gives zero isht about the patients. You can call, text, email all you want and you will never get a response. The communication is so terrible and unreliable that if I did not have a procedure done by Dr. Chavez 10 years ago at a different place and was confident in her work and skill set I would NEVER have dealt with this place or its staff and would have been glad to lose the $500 deposit just to never hear from them again. They start off by being incredibly nice and that literally starts and stops after the very first conversation. The place is in deplorable condition and the operating rooms are bare, uninviting and really freaking scary. Like a butcher place. They told me to show up at 12:30pm for my surgery and I sat there until 9pm waiting for my surgery. 9pm!!! The clinic closes at 7pm! I sat in a room seeing women come out of surgery, crying, vomiting, screaming for 8 hours. Another girl came in at 7am for her surgery. Her surgery happened before mine. She waited more than 12 hours; no food or water after midnight the day before, remember?? Absolutely ridiculous. The lady who checked me into the operating area spoke NO ENGLISH at all. She was literally in charge of ensuring I was ready for surgery and could not communicate with me to tell me to pee in a cup or put on compression socks. She had to demonstrate it. As I sat there for almost 9 hours I started googling about the New Life clinic which I didn't do before because all I cared about is having Dr Chavez operate on me. It was a stupid thing to do because it was one negative review after another followed by an article about the owner of the clinic who happens to be a convicted felon. I could relate to every negative review because my experience was identical to all of them. Dr. Chavez is an artist with the female body. She is second to none but literally every single person on staff at this clinic aside from the surgeons is of absolute lowest quality. There are many other places in Miami to provide better services, better communication and a peace of mind which is what is needed when you are to be put under anesthesia and someone is cutting your body.

I am only posting a review on the clinic itself and their staff besides my coordinator. My coordinator lizandra is amazing and she’s been my coordinator for my two procedures in this clinic, she’s very motivated and has a passion for what she does and i have no problem with her. What I have a problem with is I had surgery with Dr Harry. I didn’t know I needed to hire a nurse until the DAY of surgery. I Had to pay around $200 seconds before going in to surgery or else I was told he was going to cancel. After my surgery, I was told I was going to see the doctor 2 weeks after, I thought I was going to see him the day after. I know it’s crazy with this pandemic but I also do not find it correct that I did a risky procedure and the doctor doesn’t even call/ try to contact me, nor I get to see him days after my surgery. It has to be 2 WEEKS LATER. I ended up having just a 5 minute talk 2 weeks later and left with no documents THEY PROMISED ME ILL GET!!! The doctor couldn’t even get my medical history or any document stating how much was removed and transferred. When I called to ask for it again today, they said they will have the doctor make one. How would the doctor remember if he didn’t write it the day of!!!! With his hundreds of patient he is not going to remember the actual amount!!! He is going to just state whatever I said I wanted to shut me up. I don’t find this correct at all, this is all so odd. I don’t know if it’s because the company works like this with this specific doctor or what else it could be. I don’t feel like he removed 4 liters, I wasn’t big. He states he did but there’s no proof!!!!

I inquired about information about procedures here and I said I would call get back as I am from out of town and have to check certain things first then as soon as I hang up I get a text message about a contract request sent to me by new life I didn’t even open it just incase! Dr Doback is a great doctor and gave me a great shape. I had lypo 360. The Asian middle aged anestiologist is amazing. I’m sorry I don’t know her name. Very personal and makes you feel very comfortable. Best person on the entire staff. Ordania the massage therapist is awesome. Very personable and professional. So nice! I had a sales girl her name was Nicole. Apparently she quit. I had no idea so I tried reaching her numerous times and couldn’t get thru. No one ever keep me up to date or let me know what was going on. I keep calling and getting vague awnsers for everything. If a coordinator left it should have been “ New Life’s” responsibility to assign me with a new sales girl. After getting no awnsers by text, phone, or email I show up to New Life the Tuesday before my surgery just to check in to see if everything was ok. I waited 2.5 hours for Yuli the surgical coordinator for doback and ask numerous times. She passes right in front of me like 3 times. Then mgr came out to tell me I’m sorry she can’t see you she will text me. So I waisted 3 hours of my life for nothing. I was so upset I literally left in tears. She could have sat with me for 5 mins and explained that my surgery was on Friday and that things needed to be verified and she would text me. The day of my surgery I go in at 6am and leave at 330pm no one ever came out to tell my husband that everything was ok nothing. He said he asked a few times and the front desk keep saying I was in surgery. He said that they never went and checked they were just on there cell phones at a front desk. How would they know if I’m fine? She didn’t even go to ask to verify if I was ok. When I woke up from surgery I didn’t even know where I was at. I was trying to get the nurses attention for a longggggg time. She was drinking coffee and talking and laughing with 4 other women. I kept saying I was nauseous and to please come help me. She came over and said you need to wait and walked away. How about telling the patient... you just had surgery don’t worry you will be ok. Something polite and assuring. No she went back to her conversation and was eating something and finishing her coffee laughing very loud. I then saw the anesthesiologist and she came over and gave me pain medication and nausea medication because the smell of the coffee was going to make me vomit. Thank goodness for her!!!!! She was an lifesaver. So polite and professional and asking was I ok and how was I feeling. The recovery nurse was horrible she doesn’t care about anything but what her plans were for that Friday night. Again the New Life staff unprofessional. The last complaint is they have a nurse called Carla on staff. She is always in a bad mood very rude and not polite. I had 2 huge seromas and was having a lot of pains. She was very rough and nasty to me and very rude because I was “bothering her” because she had to drain them. The assistant even made a face. Then she told me to come in 2 days later but I couldn’t bare the pain. So I went on again to see the nurse. She told the mgr very nasty why is she here? I told her to come in on Wednesday and sucked her teeth. If I have pain and needed to see the nurse should I just have gone to the hospital? Is this why the center is so large. So that they can see all patients??? She was upset because she had the drain me again. When I said to the mgr I prefer to wait for the doctor the nurse changed her attitude really quick. Saying “mi amor”. I don’t need to be spoken to with love. I need medical attention and to be treated with respect. Actually she should have came over and said “how are you feeling” or “let me check you out”. Do you think I wanted to drive all the way over there and get a needle in my stomach again. NO! I went because I was in pain and scared I had an infection. I’m only 12 days into my surgery. So I have to continue returning to and I’m scared for what’s to come. I hope the owners read this so they see exactly what the staff is behaving like. I will be doing breast implant surgery but will not return to New Life for it.

My experience with new life plastic surgery was truly amazing ! From the moment I called I have had the best experience ever . My surgical consultant Ornella was very knowledgeable and always answered all my questions from our first phone call until the day I arrived for my pre operative appointment. Hi ladies I had a complete Tummy Tuck with Dr JC Alvarez, my recovery was nothing I expected. I was told I’d get complete post-op care, and once I got home we’d do FaceTime post-op care. I was advised not to get any massages yet I did my own research and found out they help you recover. I’m currently a little over 5 weeks post-op and I’m still healing, I understand healing takes time but my belly button is still draining a yellowish fluid, I’m terrified of getting an infection so I had to fly back to see the doctor so he can check on the drainage and to give me answers as to why my belly button wasn’t healing. Upon arrival the staff was so rude and short with me the doctor didn’t even check my belly button, I eventually had to reach out and find local care in my area, my caregiver removed over 3 thick stitches that I believe is what was causing the drainage. Basically the flight was worthless and expensive. The doctor was apparently to busy and didn’t have time for me. I truly believe that I was treated different for all of my post-op care, once they take your money you become and experiment and they just hope for the best. I was promised post-op care that I never received, I was ignored, my calls were never returned and I have yet to receive my FaceTime post-op appointment. Ladies please do your research, I’m sure you can find better care elsewhere.
