I was blown away by my experience at Dr Patodia’s eye institute. This clinic is a well-oiled machine. From start to finish, you are quickly and efficiently guided from one step of the appointment to the next. I was in and out of the appt in 1h15m completing background information, vision testing, eye pressures, four separate scanning procedures and a consultation with Dr Patodia all in that timeframe. Dr Patodia and his staff were professional and thorough. Would highly recommend this clinic to anybody seeking quality ophthalmologic care.

First time and I, for one, will not be a returning client. My mother who is 89 and suffers from vascular dimentia went in to Eye Clinic attached to Petrolia Hospital for cataract extraction this week. We had several appointments leading up to surgery. I asked for first appointment of the day for the cataract extraction due to Mom's condition, she becomes very agitated with long waits. I paid extra for a better lens for her. We were at clinic at 6:45, she was prepared and ready to go for 8:30 when they told us her lens was not there and was somewhere in the building!!!! WHAT!!! Somewhere in the building! Hours passed! Finally, Patodia was honest with me and told me her lens was being couriered to Petrolia from Sarnia. Ohh my goodness! Lens arrived around 10:15, but then entire staff went on coffee break! Upon there return finally at 11:00 Mom was taken in for her surgery! It was noon before we left the building! Someone was negligent here! This wait time is unacceptable! An 89 year old with dimentia in a chair for 4 hours! Inexcusable!

worst dr ever would not call him a dr .. he got all his little girls to look at me he did not even examine me ....went twice and never looked at me ?????????? charged my mom 1500 for each lens and 1000 for operation at hospital what is that about ..ohip states you can not extra bill for services ???????

Extremely unprofessional. Do not recommend..i don't suport bad treatment of staff and clients. Also, chairs are very uncomfortable. The head nurse or his wife? is extremely rude.

I have been a patient at Dr. Patodia's for over 20 years. I have always found him to be professional and knowledgeable on all of my eye related issues. I've had a number of laser treatments and have always been extremely satisfied with the outcome. I am grateful that he has maintained his practice in Sarnia . His new clinic on London Road is beautiful and equipped with state of the art equipment. The staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions or concerns. I highly recommend him to anyone who asks.

I just wanted to thank you Dr Patodia along with your team for what you do. For me it's been a great experience, and now that both cataracts have been removed and replaced with Toric IOL(intraocular lenses), I'm seeing better than ever. First thing for me is my tennis game has improved mostly because I can see the ball clearly again with great depth perception. But my first real example of sight improvement was a horseshoe tournament 2 weeks after surgery. I won the tournament! With the help of my doubles partner, we won in a field of 40 or so men. Again, I believe it was the depth perception and clear vision that helped me play so well. Recent double cataract surgery. I could not be more pleased. Yes they are very busy; but well worth the wait. Two other family members have had the same surgery with a different doctor/location. Wait times were far worse. They both paid FAR more out of pocket. They also had good results; but not better that mine.

The uncomfortable waiting chairs are the least of the problems. Very long wait times and they left a pin in my moms eye after she had surgery. She had it in for a week. She felt something stabbing her but they told her it was nothing and didn't check. When they did finally check they said "Whoops".

I had a great experience with Dr. Patodia and the team for my LASIK procedure! I found Dr. Patodia on Google, and it was a great option because I did not want to travel and stay over night to have the procedure done. The process was surprisingly quick, and was impressed that they could get me in within a week. My original consultation was April 10th, and I was able to make my measurements appointment and book my procedure for May 10th. Everything was explained really well throughout the entire process, including the consent. My surgery was a little more difficult than expected, but Dr. Patodia was professional and walked me through it! The procedure overall was really good, the results were great – I was reading 20/10 a day after my surgery! I would not hesitate to do it again. Anyone on the fence should definitely get LASIK! It’s great to be able to wake up in the middle of the night and not fumble around for my glasses!

I had excellent service with cataract surgery. Multifocal toric lens enables me to read and see far distance. Finally no glasses! I am glad this was done at age 65 and not 85 when cataracts would be more advanced.

Very sterile waiting room where seats face all the same way forcing clients and their drivers to watch and listen to videos of eye surgeries even if they don’t want to and may be squeamish. Particularly awful when are left sitting way past your appointment time which is the norm

Staff very friendly compassionate and helpful. Wish I could say the same for Dr Patodia. He blamed me for not knowing what he prescribed a year and a half ago. He was very annoyed and rude. What a pompass jerk! I will do my best to find a different doctor. Maybe your huge ego has the best of you and you have forgotten how to be kind.
